Fun Holiday Beach Resort: Once you go, you know

Fun Holiday resort was once again my choice for a gals vacation. The location is main reason to stay there, its central and right on the 7 mile beach with many restaurants, bars and entertainment venues within walking distance. The staff is the other reason. Country, an amazing entertainer. Sherice a gifted massage therapist. Ninja, hardworking and pleasant always on top of the beach and pool areas. And Jonathan did a great job creatively making drinks with very little supply of spirits and mix [... read more]es. Dining room needs fans its unbearably hot with little breeze and not pleasant. A better variety of food is needed, hot dogs are not appropriate on the daily buffet line up. Rooms need a fresh coat of paint and a good scrubbing. Beach needs some new loungers. A few improvements could really restore this gem that has lost its shine. This place used to be charming and authentic. Now its rundown and shabby.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Delightful!

I would go back to this resort in a heartbeat even though there were a few negative things. You have to understand they had lots of damage due to a storm and doing a great job fixing up the outside. The new boardwalk was very nice. The grounds themselves were very well maintained. The rooms are a little outdated and need some TLC but really how long are you in there anyway. OMG they were all so genuinely nice and not because they wanted a tip. I loved Jamaica ?? and loved this resort ?

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: What an Amazing Time!

This hotel is amazing with all that you could possibly need all in a row. Our room, vendors, A la Carte Restaurant, hot tub, bar/entertainment area ( & disco), buffet, spa, pools and snack bar. The beach out front of all of this and the use of the facilities next door! We also went off of the resort for excursions and to shop and I can't say one bad thing about the place. We made some great friends across several generations and I just can't wait to go back!!!!

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Amazing resort

Great place to stay ,staff was the best and food was ok. Room was clean and comfortable bed. You can find anything you want on the beach and more. two hour bus ride from the airport to the resort . not much entertainment I’ve seen better in Cuba. Nexus agent was nowhere to be found

Riu Reggae: riu reggea montego bay

hotel and people were great. Food at buffet was better than al cart restaurants. Great meat options, clean hotel . Do not leave resort. Pools nice beach is bad. Montego bay is not the place to go. The town is a mess. We have been all over the Caribbean to different islands and Jamaica is the worst of them all. There are way way way better places at cheaper prices and safer than Jamaica.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Good resort

We had two rooms ( huts ) side by side which made it easy for 3 people to vacation together. The rooms were clean, and the cleaners did a great job. I liked the layout and especially the huts of the resort. The entertain ent was good, especially the Michael Jackson show. The food was decent, although on the Saturday when new guests arrived the restaurant did run out of food. Drinks were decent but the wine was horrible. You need to invest in more than 1 of each white and red wine. Some of the ba [... read more]rtenders were great, but a few were extremely rude. You definitely need to invest in higher broadband for wifi, we were often without. A couple of front desk people had slight attitudes. Even with the few complaints it was a decent vacation for the money.

Ocean Eden Bay: Good vacation but

The food was good and lots of choice. We found bugs in our room a few times even though we never brought food inside our room. The beach is really rocky. Need sandals to go in the ocean. Half of the staff was great the other half was jaded. Really windy by building designs.

Ocean Eden Bay: not a 5 star

service is not even close to a 5 star rooms are very worn for a new resort beach is a 1 star understaffed food is 3 star very unhappy work force time share sale people l have traveled extensively and can adjust to any resort, but this resort needs a new valuation

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach

This is a great locale if you don’t want to be too far away from the airport. Beach is calm and clean. There are enough umbrellas and chairs for everyone who needs/wants one. Hotel is clean. There is a wide variety of food and entertainment is great - especially Dino’s tribute to Bob Marley - way to go Dino! You can go back and forth between the two resorts: Royal Decameron and Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Hedonism II: Nice resort

The rooms were clean the entertainment was very good lots of places to relax in the shade the food was excrllent lots of nufe people at nude beach lots of fun for everyone drinks were good. Thankyou

SeaGarden Beach Resort: Beautiful beach and wonderful staff.

We stayed a week at the Sea Garden resort. It has a great location 5 minutes from the airport and hip strip. The hotel is charming with well kept rooms and grounds. The staff were lovely, always doing their best to ensure a comfortable stay. The beach is breathtaking with snorkeling, kayaks, and floaties available for guest use. Food was always consistently good and their coffee was delicious. We hope to return again sometime soon.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: We had some issues :(

6 of us went (friends) and in pairs we each got put into completely separate buildings and all with King size beds...we asked for 2 queens and they said there weren't any (the resort was not full) 2 days later 2 of the girls got a new room and 3 days later the other 2 got a room...my friend and i just sucked it up and shared a bed. But no assistance at all of trying to put us closer together. The resort is massive so trying to find friends in different buildings that are far away wasn't easy. [... read more] We went down to the main buffet in the morning the first day we were there and i can't make this stuff up...there was NO food 25 empty silver pans..we had yogurt/juice...I have never come across this before. When we went to go for dinner that night...they asked us to come back because there weren't ready (it was already 15 min past opening time) We did discover the Negril buffet (awesome) and the Poisiden (awesome) half way through the stay. so i highly recommend these. The a la carts were great!! The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of and the staff were all very kind and friendly!! it was just the food and room situation that put a damper on us...but of course we pushed through lol

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Dated Resort

Staff was friendly and there was plenty of staff but it was next to impossible to get anything done. Rooms were pretty clean, we had requested two beds and only got one with no spare pillows and NO blanket; only one sheet. We requested multiple times for a room change to the upgraded room we had paid for and did finally get it 4 days into our 6 day stay. This was a girls trip with 6 friends and we were all "issued" one king size bed. It was next to impossible to get bookings for a La Carte resta [... read more]urants; we never could get the steak house and could only get the Japanese at 3pm. Breakfast buffets we pretty scarce at least 3 of the days.

Riu Montego Bay: Fabulous vacation, thank you RIU

This resort surpassed our expectations Located short drive from airport so you do hear planes during the day but it didn't bother me Food -huge variety, I'm a picky eater and left full every night. There is somewhere to eat 24-7. Italian and Steakhouse were great a la carte restaurants Lots of chairs on the beach and by the pool available all day, no need to get up early to claim your seat. Breathless Montego Bay: A very lovely resort

Staff were fabulous. They are kind, friendly and very attentive. Butler service was fantastic. Restaurants and buffet very good. Very happy with my vacation at this resort. It was nice to be part of the Secrets resort also.

Secrets St James: Second visit to Secrets St James

We visited Secrets St James in 2023, and loved it so much, we decided to return in 2024. However, the rooms and bathrooms are showing their age and are very much in need of a refresh. The room definitely did not feel 4.5-5-star. The bathroom appeared to have many touchups of paint, waterproof seal etc but very poorly done. The issue of people getting up at 6am to “save” chairs at the beach is a BIG problem that I hope the hotel will address by at least installing more umbrellas so half the gues [... read more]ts aren’t forced to “bake” daily in direct sunlight. The hotel was nowhere near capacity and there weren’t enough umbrellas to sit under. In addition, many people would save a chair but didn’t return to use it. Although this was happening when we visited last year, I don’t recall it being as big of a problem as this year. The beach is calm & lovely and there are lots of activities at the main pool daily. Preferred Club pools are quieter. Guests should be reminded to not disturb what little wildlife there is at the beach - one guest took a starfish out of the water & left it on the sand for about 30 minutes, until she was done taking photos with it and then put it back. Starfish will die within a few minutes of being removed from water so that one likely didn’t survive. The food was good; there were more than enough options so you could always get a decent meal The dinner portions are small so you have to order a couple of appetizers. The Jamaican & Mexican restaurants were on a rotating schedule so only one was open at a time. We had at least 30 minute waits to get into the restaurants but that wasn’t a big inconvenience to us. Food at the Jamaican restaurant was excellent. Breakfast and lunch buffets were great, including lots of salad options for lunch. We ordered room service a few times (lunch & dinner) which was very good, always delivered hot and the portions were larger than what we got at the restaurants. The hotel property itself, gardens, beach etc were beautiful & very well maintained. The majority of staff we encountered were courteous and very helpful. Hyatt is currently promoting “Sip, Savor & See” - if you aren’t in Preferred Club, it allows you to visit and enjoy the Breathless resort for an evening. Breathless is normally only accessible to Preferred Club guests. Overall a very nice, quiet stay but the dated rooms and the lack of umbrellas on the beach, in relation to the cost of our stay, would likely cause me to visit a different adults-only resort for my next vacation. In fairness, this is a very nice resort but if you’re looking for a 4.5-5 star, this resort is slightly below that, in my opinion.

Couples Negril: One of the Best!

Fantastic property, grounds, people and beach. All the good fun stuff is already included and available in an unlimited fashion. The best staff in everyway. Culinary team was outstanding! She is not the shiniest penny in the purse but the property is well tended, clean, lush gardens and what a massive clean well serviced beach and pool. Great vibe, fun days and nights, the 4 of us had a blast.

Ocean Coral Spring: Very impressive resort!

We were very impressed with the whole resort! It was very clean and there was lots of staff. Employees of all departments were very polite and respectful. There was daily entertainment whether during the day or the evening! Definitely am returning there!!!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Trip central, air transat and holiday inn ALL disappointing!

Looks beautiful in pics but definitely a 3*. Pro's= close to airport, pretty grounds Cons= buffet was crap, outdated and not much swimmable beach Trip central gave me the wrong booking # You can't use the resort app to check in if you've booked via third party... Took 20 phone calls for them to tell me that Air transat return flight was shut compared to flight going over . A 1st using trip central, air grandad and going to this resort.. Overall all disappointing

Grand Lido Negril: A Great Place to Relax and Unwind

The rooms are well appointed. The food is exceptional, especially at the Ocean Point alfresco restaurant. Since there are only 26 rooms the pool bar and restaurant provide personalized, attentive service. The access to the sea is awkward due to a poor vertical ladder. Beach shoes are recommended.
