Sailport Resort: Very nice resort

We were a party of 5 adults who spent Christmas week at Sailport. The hotel was very nice. The only drawbacks were that the flight landed in Orlando and the resort is 90 miles away. Also there is no restaurant on site. We had a rental car so we were able to get to shopping and restaurants but it would not be suitable for anyone who was not comfortable driving in a strange, high traffic area. It was a nice getaway and fairly good value despite these minor shortcomings.

Sheraton Vistana Resort: Awesome stay

The villas are excellent; clean, well-appointed, and spacious. The resort is nicely landscaped and cheerful. Staff are attentative and helpful. No toiletaries were provided in the bathrooms however. Overall, highly recommended.

Tuscan Hills Resort: So much nicer than a hotel!

Our 3 bedroom villa was such a nice alternative to a hotel. Close to all the DIsney attractions, yet located in a quiet gated community, the villa was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The private pool was such a nice treat!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort: expected more

For the price paid, I assumed the hotel room would be nicer. They were doing renos while we were there so it should be better. It was very small and was out dated. It was clean though. And the service was good. The pools were great, and the kids loved the sandy beaches. I loved the hammocks. The Bon fire every evening was great too. Food sucked, was pricey and there wasn't much variety. But overall a great trip in Disney!

Disney Art of Animation Resort: Art of Animation Resort Review

This resort was lovely. The buses to Disney World ran very well and the pool was beautiful. The only complaint was the food - both service and amount. I had 3 children with me ages 11, 9 and 7. The 11 year old had adult portions and therefore ate well on what was allotted. The other two children were only authorized children size portions which was totally inadequate and I ended up having to pay extra to ensure they had enough to eat. For example, the 7 year old ordered a pizza and salad. The pi [... read more]zza was about the size of an English muffin and he was not entitled to salad as well. I ended up paying for it. The choices of sides and desserts (baggies of carrots, apples and grapes) and small sizes of drinks was the same every day. Again I had to pay to upsizes the drinks. I would say the children's food entitlements were perhaps adequate up to the age of 5 perhaps. The adult portions and choices were fine. The service for what they call the quick choice (I believe) was divided among counters. When each child wanted something different, and I had to take each of them up to order their meal and then go to the only place that the sides and drinks were available obviously took a long time to get everyone seated and fed. It was awful and I heard other people saying the same thing.

Holiday Inn Orlando SW Celebration Area: Nice, clean, and very affordable!

Overall the stay was nice. The staff was very friendly the moment we walked through the doors. Our room, and common areas were very clean, as well as the pool area. Miguel in the restaurant went above and beyond for us as well for a very minor issue with the kitchen being closed for a staff lunch.

Intercontinental Miami: Good Downtown location and near the Bayside

Nice, clean & upscale hotel near downtown Miami and close to Bayside and other downtown facilities,such as shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Closed to South Beach and Miami beach. Parking is rather expensive as it is in Downtown.

Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort: Good value for your money

Nice resort. Very clean hotel with comfy beds and pillows. Price was reasonable especially with advance booking. The downside is that there is a $15 per night parking fee and even then you must park across the street unless you opt for valet parking.

Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa: Impeccable service

The HB Marriott is a hotel we keep coming back to. The service exceeds 5 stars. The pool is wonderful, it has great restaurants and is in a perfect location in Fort Lauderdale - right on the beach. Although the rooms are a tad small, the views are amazing on either side of the hotel. It's the only hotel we will stay at in Fort Lauderdale.

Holiday Inn Harbourside: It was OK but I won't go back

I will summarize the pluses and minuses and you can make your decision based on what is important to you. Pluses - Comfortable beds, Clean, Computer available for guests to use, free newspapers, Large closet, Lots of free indoor parking. Minuses - The hotel is about a block from the beach which was not an issue for us but might not be ideal for everyone. No in-room safe so we had to carry our cash and valuables with us all the time. There are 2 small pools but they were too cold to swim in and [... read more] we did mention this to the people at the front desk but the heater was never turned up. There were no beach towels, just small towels in the gym which meant that we had to take 3 towels each. There is live music at the bar which we could hear in our room. For reference, our room was right over the front office. We were in a standard room which got no natural light and we had to keep our curtains closed all the time as they faced on to the hallway. When we asked about getting a room that had light, we were told that we would have to pay an additional $50 per night. The hotel was not full so I find this was ridiculous. Our room was nice but small. One bed was right against the air conditioner and the other one was right beside the mini fridge. I asked if we could get a luggage stand to put our suitcases on when we were packing and was told they didn't have any. We didn't eat in the restaurant as the prices were very high. They are opening a water park next door which will be fun for families when it opens but it's right beside the pool so it will be noisy for those who want to relax. Overall, it was not a terrible hotel however, I have been to better hotels in the area so I won't go back unless the price is a lot lower. Room Tip: Try to get a room far away from the restaurant if you don't want to hear music every night. If...

The Inn on Fifth: LOVED this hotel..........cant wait to go back !

We had a wonderful vacation. Our room was pool level. The awesome patio was our living room. Staff very friendly..........clean as a whistle. Great location ! Smaller hotel. Felt more cozy. Compimentary shuttle to within two miles in a very jazzy SUV !

Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort: Very good stay at the Cabana Bay

CBB is conveniently located in proximity of US.Shuttle bus to Universal is very frequent.We enjoyed very much the pool area and the lazy river;also the music that you hear all day through out the resort.The rooms are nicely furnished,with excellent beds.It is a huge hotel,ask for a room closer to reception otherwise you would walk for at least 5 minutes from elevator to your room as we did.Starbucks at premises is a good touch.Food court ..so and so.Better to dine at the City Walk @ Universal.I  [... read more]found customer service very good;they printed our return flight boarding passes,therefore was able to check in in advance.

Sunset Vista Suites: Great Value

Enjoyed location, wonderful beach, friendly and helpful staff, condo a little dated but otherwise excellent for us and the time we were there. Easy walk to Johns Pass. Close to great restaurants. Trolly to Redington Beach to "The Conch Republic" amazing . Walk to "Middle Ground Grill" again outstanding. Would definitely return and recommend.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort: Highly recommend this resort.

This hotel was everything and more than what we wanted. Friendly staff, clean resort, great facilities and great food. Transit to parks and downtown was fast and no more than 15 minute waits in any direction. The staff were very helpful with any questions or anything we needed.

Bahama Bay Resort: Nice

Overall place was nice, friendly staff, received free movie rental card upon arrival. Went for a swim and hot tube daily. Had perfect weather. No elevators was the down fall. counted forty stairs up and then down again if you were on the third level as we were. Nice view of one of the pools.

Disney All Star Movie: Sufficiant

The Resort was quite dated and the rooms were worn and disappointing, though the beds were comfortable, moldy mildew on the shower curtains and the fridge wasn't wiped out, the design on the carpet was worn right out and dirty looking, though the staff was wonderful and the housekeeping staff was great and making it bearable to be in the rooms. The kids had stuffed animals and the housekeeping staff arranged them differently every day and that made the kids look forward to returning to the room  [... read more]and seeing how their bears were arranged. The food court was over crowded and the food was ok, portions a little small for the price. Front desk and check in was quick though disappointing as online we asked to be either Dalmation's or in the Toy Story section and we were placed in the Mighty Ducks section. That was ok after a while as we just decided to spend less time in the resort. I would recommend paying extra and staying at one of the better Disney Resorts or stay off site.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort: Beautiful Resort!

We loved this resort! Very clean, nice staff, and beautiful grounds! We stayed in the ranchos 7B, it was a bit of a distance to the front of the resort but the main pool is very close which was great for the kids and there's a bus stop right behind the building very convenient.

Plaza Ocean Club: Don't be lead astray by bad reviews as we were!

After we booked this hotel and read the bad reviews we were anxious about what our stay at this hotel would be like. We were pleasantly surprised! We had read about the elevator issues and dirty shower curtains and old broken down rooms. Honestly I was not looking forward to checking in but reminded myself of what a great deal this package was and that I would be at the pool and beach for the most part! Well immediately upon check-in the gal at the front desk was lovely and I asked her if we cou [... read more]ld be on one of the lower floors in case the elevator issues were true! She instead said she would like to upgrade us to a beautiful ocean view room with a little kitchen on the top floor. She said it had brand new carpet. It was perfect and clean and indeed a great view of the coast and the pier! It was very clean although could use a little updating. The AC worked great and the elevator was never an issue to concern us. The cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating and trustworthy! Although parking can be a bit tricky on the weekends when the hotel is busiest - was still not an issue for us. The pool and beach access are great and every staff member we encountered was helpful and very friendly at all times. I would gladly stay here again and that is coming from a traveller who has stayed in some of the finest hotels and resorts. Again.....don't be lead astray and if there is something about the hotel that you don't like - I am confident that then staff would do their best to make it right. It's good value for your money!

Disney All Star Music Resorts: A very nice place to stay.

Very clean. Front desk help was phenomenal. The pool was nice to have. The movie night could have used a bigger area but it is an excellent idea for the movie under the stars.............................................................................

Disney Port Orleans: Beautiful Grounds-Terrible Food

Grounds were absolutely beautiful. You really do feel like your in New Orleans. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were really decorated nicely for the kids (we had a princess themed room with headboards that lit up with LED fireworks-girls lived it). Good access to parks via bus although buses were crowded and it would take 20 min to get places. You cook also get to downtown Disney via boat. Nice and scenic ride. Only major complaint pertains to the food. It was absolutely disgusting at the [... read more] resort. Very poor quality. Salty, fatty and poor selection. The only two decent places to eat we're in Downtown Disney: Wolfgang Puck Express and a Earl of Sandwich. Both places accepted Disney Meal plan but it was extremely frustrating to have to go to Downtown Disney for a decent meal.
