Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

The ground were beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms were nice. Food was amazing and all the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you. Trips they offered at the resort were great

Bay Gardens Inn: Decent place, great service, convenient location

Clean, basic rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Located next to groceries and bus routes. Access to three properties in lovely Rodney Bay. We were travelling with paddleboards. We're kind enough to provide secure board storage at the beach resort. Great place for people who enjoy simplicity and like to move around.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Very Disapointing

Did not feel as an all inclusive vacation. The new building with the five floors were I stayed had an out of service elevator the same for the other 3 buildings, the refrigerator in your room was empty even of water, I had to buy water bottles in order to have water in my room, if I wanted to have a drink I had to take a glass from the bar to my room, very dificult to reserve a la carte restaurants always a big line up and when you got to it either they were not reserving for the day you wanted  [... read more]yet or they were full, one of the restaurant you had to pay $45.00US a person, food not that great and not enough variety to choose from, no menu for the kids even though there were a lot of kids, entertainment nothing really a band, a DJ, karaoke and was all done by 11pm, after could not even have music playing, a coffee shop were you could sit down and have a coffee but not take it outside the premises. We could not even change a $20.00 in ones because they could not do that all they could do was give us ECD their money, but when we went shopping to the market we paid in USD and the change was in USD. In all not a very good feeling that you were in vacation and there to relax, first time I came from a vacation where I feel that it was not worth the money I paid for, which brings me to ask the question that most of the people there paid $1,800.00 including the Plus Option and I paid a lot more without the Plus Option and these people left from Toronto on the same plane and the same day as I did.

Windjammer Landing: We had a lovely, relaxing time.

The setting and the food was wonderful - we enjoyed our stay immensely. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, and the catamaran excursion was great, as was the sunset cruise. We cannot comment on any other activities or excursions as we made a conscious choice to relax rather than spend our time on excursions. We really appreciated being able to do this as an all inclusive. We did come home with some tiny, itchy bites but I never saw the offenders - my guess is sand flees or sand flies, only because my own bites were all below the knee; but my husband had them in other places and I noticed some people there with them as well; so take insect repellant. It is a beautiful setting though, good for families too. Recommend the all-inclusive option, otherwise you will find the restaurants expensive.

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Excellent vacation!

Coconut bay not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. The staff, food and entertainment were fantastic. While the resort is a bit dated (it was kept tidy and clean though) and the beach does have a turtle grass issue (it was turtle grass free just a short walk down the beach) we were aware before we went and it didn't take away from the experience at all. Rex St Lucian: Great resort and location!

The location of this hotel is the best on the beach!!!! Beach one of the best on the island!!!! Check in is quick and smooth- rum punch while you wait. Hotel- is in need of a refurbishment/ face lift- but this does not take away from the house keeping staff who clean daily and replace all linens! Or just stay on hotel property under the shade of a palm tree or palapas. Pool is small, but clean and always busy. Dining in restaurant over the sea makes for a spectacular view!! Food is tasty and plentiful- though not a huge selection- no one goes hungry. Lots of local dishes and produce! At times, the lines for the hot grill get conjested- wait- you are on vacation- so all is not lost- the line subsides and you get your made to order dish :) Entertainment at night was quite good- and the audience really seemed to respond- never dull- but always over in good time - so you could always get a good nights sleep. Staff are friendly- and the longer you are there and make the effort- they really open up and acknowledge you. Even the local residents are friendly and love to chat and make conversation. The people of the island are so friendly- it is a great experience to just walk freely into town and feel welcome! There are several banks and lots of stores to visit. A wonderful marina- with many friendly faces. Local folk inviting you to ' hear them play'. NOTE- buy your local goods from the supermarkets NOT the airport- prices are much cheaper and in EC $$ vs American $$. All in all, the value is truly amazing- beach- one of the nicest- view- spectacular- food- tasty- people- friendly!!!

Rex St Lucian: Awesome beach

While our stay at the Rex Saint Lucian was great, the resort itself is very old and dated and in need of a facelift, which I believe is going to be done. The food was amazing and I am a very picky eater. I didn't really care for the al la cart restaurant but again I'm a picky eater. The beach is the best beach we have ever been too. Lots of scenery with the boats out in the bay. The booze left lots to be desired so we went out and bought our own which says it all. The nightly entertainment was v [... read more]ery lame. The pool was a joke and you could never get a chair there so we spent everyday at the beach, which is something we have never done before but again the beach was awesome. Overall we made the best of it all. I would definitely go back to Saint Lucia but not to this resort.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Great Resort

Just got back from 10 days at St James Club St Lucia. Good food and friendly service. The resort had a variety of restaurants to choose from. Rooms were clean and updated. The beach was not long so if you like to walk the beach you won't get this here. There where various water sports like kayaking, sailing, water skiing and tubing available at no extra cost.

Windjammer Landing: Beautiful Vacation

Absolutely beautiful place ! I went with my fiance, came back home with my husband:) The Ceremony on the beach was beautiful and exceeded our expetations. Food was excellent, especially in "Upper Deck" restaurant. People are the best, always smiling and ready to help.

Amazing hotel on the amazing island ! We have wedding there and everything was great, even exceeding our expectations. Food was better than anywhere else that we traveled before. People working in the resort are the best, always smiling, never pressure for tips. Excursion to Pitons was also excellent.

Smaller resort, with big hearts throughout. The employees will go the extra mile to make sure your stay is memorable, special shout out to Vince! Food was great, drinks weren't watered down. The beach is so close and there's always room in the sun! Nicely located...get a group together and try the Friday street fest in the inlet...then Saturday in Rodney bay hit up the club for some good times. You'll feel safe anywhere not off the beaten path. Last, take the Joy's tour where you'll see the Pito [... read more]ns and snorkle between them, the walk-in volcano, mud bath there with a natural spring, rinse off under a waterfall(cold though), then lunch at Joy's mansion. Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Coconut Bay gave us a terrific holiday!

This is an older hotel and small. It has an adult side and a family side. There is no room that has a bad view. Every morning you can see the ocean and two small islets on one side and a mountain on the other. Very beautiful Rooms- loved that it had more storage than needed! We are a family of 3 and loved not having to live out of suitcases!! The beds were comfortable and temperature was easy to control. Bathroom was dated, could use attention but were adequate. Loved the waffle/french toast bar, omelette station and smoothie bar. Pasta station and stir fry station was terrified and very good!! Twice a week they transformed the lawn for a huge dinner on the lawn. Very good food and lots of choices!!! Enjoyed the cook off between chefs and have never seen a bigger tuna!! Service-was good. People were friendly and happy to help with what you needed. Only downside was that I waited 20 minutes for orientation and no one showed up to run it Entertainment- loved the people In this crew!! they are fun, friendly and a bunch of laughs! They did not get much participation though, suggest that they do some things different to get people excited and wanting to join Excursions- very reasonable price and lots to choose from. Volcano was incredible as was the zip line. Recommend hiring a private driver for volcano your, price is almost the same and you get to choose your activity Downside-beach is terrible as it is the Atlantic side. If you want beach and blue water, this is not the spot for you Overall we loved the experience!! Will go back

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Great family resort

Really comfortable and enjoyable family resort. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The Splash section is great for kids that are comfortable in the water. Large family pool with fun swim up bar for kids. The beach is steps from the pool for easy access.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Enjoyable Experience

My husband and I stayed at St. James Club in St. Lucia from January 3 to 10. The check-in process went very smoothly and we were promptly taken to our room via a golf cart. The room was spacious and we had an ocean view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food at the buffet and restaurants was delicious and the menu at the buffet changed daily. The pools (4) were very clean and there were plenty of lounge chairs by the pool and beach. The Caribbean sea water, though, was quite murky. The  [... read more]resort does not charge for use of its sailboats, paddle boats, banana boats or water skiing which is wonderful. The grounds were kept immaculate and it was a pleasure to walk along the paved paths. There were many scenic viewpoints overlooking Morgan Bay. The activity staff were very enthusiastic and it was a lot of fun doing aqua aerobics. The evening entertainment consisted of local bands and singers who were very good. A highlight for us was the Caribbean beach party which is held every Wednesday. Round tables and chairs were set up on the beach and kiosks with local food was available. There was a steel drum band as well as fantastic stilt walkers, fire eaters and limbo demonstrations. We had a wonderful vacation and sincerely thank the staff for their efforts.

Drinks best ever, and food were great. Nighttime entertainment was hit or miss. Service was great except for that one young lady in the Palms that people have written about. The beach was on the small side and was well kept. Plenty of water activities to do. The Pier was the best restaurant. Yes it was an hour and a half drive to the resort. Our family had a lovely time. The rooms were clean, notwithstanding that they were a bit tired and out dated. But the service quality was excellent and food was superb! Our family had a wonderful vacation. I would recommend this resort for a family vacation.

we had a great time at the St James Club Morgan Bay food was great - 6 restaurants to choose from (2 right on the beach) lots of free water sports great size - big enough for all the amenities but small enough to find everyone fantastic staff - always helpful and friendly love the island of St Lucia - so lush and picturesque

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Sandals La Toc St. Lucia

The hotel itself is a little old and showing its age, broken slats in the wooden lounge chairs and in cupboard doors in the Pavillion Restaurant, however there were ongoing renovations and the upkeep is excellent. Very clean pools and beautiful grounds. The food overall was very good. The La Toc French restaurant was fantastic, try the French Onion soup and don't miss the steak. Pools, there are two quiet pools the Piton pool is just a little ways from the main area and was always quiet, the other pool by Armandos was also very quiet. Armandos restaurant was excellent as well. Don't miss it. Scuba Diving: if you are looking for a place to get certified this is it. The staff did things right here, very professional and went through all the steps. Initial dives were only 40 feet deep and were 2 divers to 1 dive master. The group dives were about 6 divers to 1 dive master. Only 60 and 40 foot dives but lots to see. Nothing big, no sharks, but lots of variety and tins of fish from tiny to about a foot long. Sea horses and octopi. Also lots of lobsters. Some really pretty coral on "superman's flight" and we did see a turtle in the turtle garden. As long as you aren't expecting perfection this place is worth a visit. Go into town. The people are friendly and not very pushy in the market. Wander down the street to the church it is beautiful.

St James Club was fabulous. We were lucky to receive a partial oceanview room and the rooms were clean and pleasant. The beach is not huge but there was plenty room and the sand is perfect. The ocean was so warm in the bay that you had to be in the water. We enjoyed the watersports provided by the resort. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the theme nights. Sandals Halcyon Beach: Perfect honeymoon resort

The resort is perfect for honeymooners and couples who want to relax and spend time together. The grounds are gorgeous and the service is fantastic. Lots of options for excursions and free water sports. The beach has a lot of room, you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn for a seat. Everything was perfect and we would love to go again!
