Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful Beach

The resort was beautiful for the exception of no hot water, no water pressure and minimal air conditioning. Staff was friendly. Pool and grounds are clean. Food was 7 out of 10. Beach 10 out 10. Would I return? Yes indeed for the beach⛱️.

Memories Cayo Largo: Disappointing resort

Just got back from 2 weeks. Oceanview room was great. Lots of water and pressure. Resort ran out of wine and beer more than half of stay. No vegetables. Butter for four days. A lot of variety of food was missing. Pool was filthy and dangerous with broken and missing side panels covering overflow. Not much beach because of high tide. Thank goodness weather was perfect and staff was as well. a train ride to nicer beach was rough. Strongly recommend to take a taxi

Memories Paraiso: The Perfect Getaway

This hotel was just right for our vacation. We stayed at the Grand Memories --the grounds were clean and well kept. The rooms were serviced daily as well as bottled waters to keep you hydrated while at the beach or at the pool. The staff were just amazing,warm and always accommodating with your various request. They treated everyone like royalty. I would highly recommend as after a 7 night stay we felt like we were family.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Excellent Resort

First time to Cuba, overall it was better then I had ever expected. Food was very good, lots to choice from. Rooms where large and always cleaned. Staff was extremely friendly. I did notice that there was no hand soap for the washrooms. (would advise travelers to bring their own) Lots of mosquitos (I brought Skin so Soft bug spray by Avon, which really helped) (would also advise travelers to bring bug spray). Beautiful Beach

Memories Cayo Largo: Cayo Largo 2023

The hotel is a bit dated, but it is clean and small enough to be able to access the beach or pool which ever you choose. We had 3 days on the beach which is the best part of this resort, the ocean was clear blue and warm enough to just walk in a float around for hours. The selection of food was lacking but we didn't go hungry and the service was excellent both at the restaurants and bars. Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Relaxing Vacation at a 3* - Oct 17 - 25, 2023

The hotel was what we expected for Cuba and for the price it was a good deal (under $1,300 for 2) Overall, needs some TLC. Room: Clean, hot water and good water pressure. Damp but expected during the rainy months. Fridge did not get filled except for a water bottle. No robe as stated on website (not a big deal). No alcohol in room as stated on website (again no big deal). We asked to move rooms for a better view and they were very accommodating. Public bathrooms: Clean but no toilet paper ever (bring your own) Lobby: Not grand, very small and underwhelming. Buffet: Only had buffet for breakfast. Lunch was al a carte and dinner required reservations or walk over to Grand Memories for buffet. Snacks: only saw pizza and chicken sandwiches at the beach and at the pool. Pool: Clean, nice that we had the choice of two pools - one with the pool bar and one without. Music was loud and mostly played hard rock music. Beach: Beautiful Food: We didn't starve. Not a lot of variety but we found something each day at Grand Memories buffet (fresh grilled chicken, pork and fish - no beef). Ran out of eggs a couple of times. Fruit was limited. Drinks: White wine was good. Ran out of beer a couple of days. Spanish coffee at the lobby - very good. Mixed drinks were very sweet and they only had diet coke. Lots of bottled water available. People: Everyone was very friendly we had no issues. Please remember the gardeners they work so hard and get no tips or gifts. I would recommend the Sanctuary if you are getting a good deal and know what to expect when travelling to Cuba. From what I saw it is in much better shape then the Grand Memories except for the buffet. Bus ride from airport to hotel is almost 2 hours (something to consider) and for that reason would probably not return....makes for a very long day.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Okay Resort

The grounds immaculate. I couldn't eat, the food was covered in flies. That was so disgusting. Beach and pool areas were great. The staff was pleasant. There's was an odor in my building lobby. The rooms need to be updated. Some of the fixtures were falling out of the walls. Sanitation was non existing. *October 2023*

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Was amazing

Food was the best that I had at any resort. Staff were amazing. Issue with hot water, but staff made arrangements for me to shower in another room as I didn't want to change rooms. I had a great room overlooking the ocean.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing Resort

This resort is a little gem. It’s a small/medium resort. People with mobility issues this is great for. The beach is stunning one of the best we have seen. The food is good this is Cuba so don’t expect Mexico or Jamaica standards. They do their best with what they have. You will never go hungry. The pizza on the beach is amazing. Memories Cayo Largo: Wonderful week!

We have found a new spot to love in Cuba! Our last visit to Cayo Largo was 2018 and so much has changed in Cuba since we were curious how it would be now. This was our first time to the Memories and we were very satisfied. The hotel overall was very nice. Our room was in block one, overlooking the pool and close to everything. The grounds were well kept and it was easy to get around. The restaurants a good and tasty variety,our favorite was the Ranchon on the beach. The bars were well stocked. One area that does need work is the pool, especially the grates on the overflow. If you were not paying attention they could be dangerous. We enjoyed the possibility of going for the day to Playa Sirena and the lunch buffet and service was excellent. The main reason for us returning to Cuba is the people and Memories did not disappoint. Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Great, relaxing vacation

Great, relaxing vacation. You can't beat the beaches anywhere. If you go go to the outdoor bar at sanctuary, Darrell is the best bartender he really took care of us and made our trip absolutely amazing. We went when the resort was actually slow but we preferred it. Staff is very friendly. I had message the manager ahead of time for our anniversary to do something special for the room that ever ended up panning out, but still had a great trip.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Memories-Bad Memories

Resort is clean and appears maintained. The staff is lackluster, most barely doing their job. The cleaning staff however are amazing. Tips mean nothing, these people are just not top notch . The flies and other insects are unbearable ...this place needs to be shutdown and fogged for about a week to get the bug aspect under control. The beer was cold ..otherwise there is nothing positive to be said.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Disappointed

Most of the staff was rude no drinks except for mango juice to kick with liquor, wine and beer 1 day of watered down soda. Not much variety of food in buffet all week. Mosquitoes were horrible even with bug spray !!! Will not be going back and do not recommend

Grand Memories Varadero: One of Kind

A complete Place for Vacations relaxing. Every Single point of view is simply amazing. Every Single worker is doing their job so incredibly. Every kind of service is highly admirable. All kinds of facilities have so much value of admiration. Every single penny is accountability so worthful. 24/7 services are so impressive. All kind of food taste is mouth-watering. Unsanitary environment. staff and food covered in house flies .. no scent of cleaning solutions.. Diamond club rooms disgrace the Diamond club resort status Stay / Book at your own Risk.. I can't blame the staff, I believe the responsibility lands squarely on ownership. I am disappointed the sellers even offer this to paying customers knowing the conditions

The beach is stunning. The flies, mosquitoes, and noseums were relentless. Flies were all over the food at the buffet. The people are absolutely lovely. It should be noted to book an a la carte table for dinner, do so at the beginning of your trip cause people book early.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Has the basics

Memories Flamenco is in need of some upgrades. It has the basics, but the pools are missing huge chunks of tiles, could use a good cleaning. Food was ok ... basic, which I expected. Was disappointed in the beach, as the coral makes it really hard on the feet getting in and out of the water. Jelly fish were in season so we spent our time at the pool anyway.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Amazing resort

Hi everyone, as I already did a review on Grand Memories Hotel and mentioned there Sanctuary, cuz I was staying twice in Sanctuary Grand Memories. It's amazing only adults place , magical paradise in everything!!!! I personally highly recomend this place. I'll be back there for sure!!!! Great ppl, nice rooms, good food, perfect service. Grand Memories Santa Maria: Amazing resort

I have been in this resort for few times already, just love it!!!! Specially Sanctuary, it's adult only. Everything is wonderful there, the food, the atmosphere, the beach is magical. The personal in a resort are so nice and welcoming, room service is very good. I really liked that they have some food service on the beach, so you don't have to go for a lunch somewhere else, if you don't wanna leave. Ppl you have to be prepared for these insects, do not take your towel after the beach to your room, change for new ones, if you couldn't do so, leave those towels outside in a balcony, cuz those sandfly jumping in your bed and continue biting you!. Also I would like to suggest something to the ppl who brings canadian loonies. It's amazing that you wanna tip ppl there, bit Cuban banks do not accept loonies, and ppl have to struggle to run around and exchange them , so please if you won't mind , it's not a big deal to go to the bank before your trip and buy American dollars by 1 dollar . You will help them a lot. Cuz imagine you got money, which you really need, but you can't use it. I guess that all what I was a about to comment. Again place is just magical in all ways, highly recommend!!!!

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Should be closed down
