Nice huge resort with 5 hotels but only one theater in door and 1 out door ,buffer restaurant very much selection and not great for 5* hotel ......Need more entertainment and better food...plus improve map with clear detail like Bahia hotels in Mexico

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great vacation at Luxury Bahia Príncipe Sian Ka'an

Four of us went for one week at the end of May. We had a wonderful time. It was nice to be able to dine at the other resorts as there were only 2 a la carte restaurants a the resort. The private beach was very nice!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Good Resort

Positve: Room we had was very nice. Maid came every day and also did turn down service. Room was very clean. Great view of the pool and the sea. Food: Food was good both at the buffet and the Ala carte restaurants. It wasn't very busy when we were there so had no problems with making reservations. There is about 2hrs. In the afternoon that you can't get food because the snack bar is getting set up for dinner. People: All the staff were very friendly and always willing to accommodate.  [... read more] Negative: If you looking for entertainment you will be disappointed. The pool is loverly however, the set up of it makes it difficult for everyone to experience the pool activities. Most of the activities and the swim up bar are in what they consider the main pool area. The pool is one big area but it is separated by two bridges on both sides. This means that if you want a drink you have to get out of the pool and enter again near the bar. The design is not conducive to having everyone unite. If you want beach, this not the resort for you. I personally prefer the pool so I did not mind. My brother in law likes to take long walks on the beach so he was disappointed .

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Our best all-Inclusive yet

My Fiancee and I stayed at this resort the first week of June 2016 and had an excellent time. We found the resort itself to be well designed and well cared for. The staff were are very friendly and helpful. The buffet had a good selection of food and of a high enough quality that I often found myself going back for a second plate despite my waistlines objections. We received 3 a la carte restaurant reservations and while the food was good it wasn't much better than the buffet so we didn't mind e [... read more]ating most of our meals there. The beach is probably the only downside to this resort. It is sandy and kept very clean but there are large wave breaks a little ways out in the water which prevent you from getting much deeper than waist high in the water or playing in the waves. On the plus side if you had children you wouldn't have to worry about them getting destroyed by the waves which look to be quite aggressive beyond the wave breaks. However, even inside the breaks there are large rocks here and there. The resort is also kinda in the middle of nowhere so if you want to go shopping in an authentic Mexican market you will have to find transport off the resort. They do have a resort market set up but expect to pay much higher prices then you would find off resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great resort

Nice hotel landscaping is beautiful and well kept. Food was not so good, service was ok not everyone greet you..DId not like them selling me time sharing. be careful. people on vacation got hook into this it can't be cancel because it is a contract. this shouldn't be allowed on the resort. Forks, spoons and knives are set on all the tables at the snackbar outside, were open and not wrapped flies were on them. I heard people complaining saying that's not hygienic at all. This is something [... read more] upper management should address this is not hygienic. Snack bar is open all day to get different kind of food great location very quiet.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Excellent amenities

Great, except the pools and certain bars close too early. would really like 24hr access to those. The service was fantastic. Our room was large, with a very comfy bed. Our stay was marred by a bit of bad weather, but it passes quickly in the DR.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: can't wait to go back

this is a beautiful resort! We had a blast vacationing here with our 14 month old. The staff and grounds are very well suited for family travel and everyone was extremely accommodating. I found the food delicious and above what it typically is in resorts. I highly recommend this resort!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful Resort

This resort is huge! There is so much to do and see at this resort. We were greeted with friendly and kind people and the check-in process was simple and quick. The lobby of the resort is beautiful and really catches the cultural landscape. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are so many pools and each has its own entertainment. The staff at the resort were friendly, helpful, and prompt. You could not ask for more from a resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing Vacation

I was blown away by how beautiful and clean this resort is. I loved the group check in with the champagne and cool towel. Every single staff member was super friendly and couldn't do enough for my husband and I. The Jazmine buffet was excellent especially the eggs benedict and Irish coffee. A la cartes we chose were Dolce Vita, Rodizio, Don Pablo and Mikado all of which were excellent. We especially loved the martini bar behind the Dolce Vita for watching the sunsets. The staff there are wonder [... read more]ful. Since it was our anniversary our room upon arrival was decorated with flower petals, balloons, a fruit basket and a champagne bucket....just amazing. Room was beautiful and the fourth floor and faced the pool and ocean. Our maid did a great job and we had no problems with clean towels or amenities. The pools are so clean and the entertainment and bar staff is wonderful. The only thing we didn't like was the new Luxury beach. Its just awful. We went to the farthest beach on the west side of the resort just before the nude beach. The water is deeper, no rocks and there is a bar and bathroom right there. Lots of security around so you feel very safe. We just loved this place and will certainly return again.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Great resort!

Everything is excellent services, entertainment, beach, grounds, pools, food, staff but the sand flies and bed bugs were killing us. Too bad because this resort is amazing otherwise. If it weren't for the bugs, I would go there again for sure.

Bahia Principe Grand Samana Roulette: Great Resort

We recently booked the Air Canada Samana Roulette and stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe Cayacoa. We had a excellent experience; the al carte's were top notch and I highly recommend. You only have to visit the booking agent once for all of your reservations (you don't have to show up every morning). The food was excellent and the rooms were amazing. This resort is spotless ... we upgraded to the Jr Suite and our room was really nice and spacious. Because we booked the Roulette our package  [... read more]did not include a safe, which I thought was a little petty considering we did paid to upgrade our room ($28.00 US for the week). The staff are very polite and friendly. Pool is very nice with the exception of two sounds systems being played at the same time, not a big deal. Everything about this resort is amazing with one exception ... the beach is lacking. The beach bar and lunch deck is very good and there are enough beach chairs available throughout the day, the downfall is the actual beach. It is not the resort's fault, but we had some rain and there was some garbage washing up from town. Overall I would come back to this resort again and I highly recommend.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Spectacular Resort

This resort is absolutely amazing! Without a second thought, I rate it to be a 5 Star Plus..The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are large, very clean and with housekeeping twice daily. The restaurants have plenty of variety and theme night daily. You will never go hungry from lack of food.Our beach was simply gorgeous, little to no seaweed and plenty of shaded areas for everyone. Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort Outstanding food

The luxury Bahia Príncipe Akumal was a great stay. The resort itself was excellent. Grounds were maticulously maintained. Rooms were clean and bright. The food at the resort was outstanding. Buffet was top notch. Always something for everyone. All of the food chicken, beef and sea food tasted great. Many other resorts we have stayed at the beef is a little hinky. Gym at the akumal was lacking but the Coba resort which was a short trolly ride away had a much better gym including a bench press and smith machine. All in all a great vacation would gladly go back to Mexico.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Amazing Resort

The hotel is beautiful, the beach has a lot of sandflies. The rooms were very clean and decorated. The staff were very friendly especially the animation team, the buffet and the front office reception staff. We being vegetarian were treated like kings and queens, being served on the table by the head chef. The animation team members, Angel, Daniel, Yubili were very friendly and entertainment was amazing. Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Definitely one to recommend.

The Bahia Príncipe Bavaro complex was a large resort with awesome grounds and services. The bartenders, front desk staff, restaurant workers and grounds keepers were some of the friendliest staff I've encountered in the six Caribbean trips I've taken. The entire facility was kept immaculately clean. There was plenty of restaurants and variety in food choices. The al a carte restaurants were beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Excellent!!!

Hotel was clean, staff friendly and all our needs were taken care of immediately upon request! The beach was near the top of my list for beaches that I have been to. White sand, turquoise water and very very clean!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: As advertised

Grounds beautiful, beds comfortable, nice having a jacuzzi at night before bed. Food hit and miss but loved the lobster night and the Japanese restaurant. Entertainment was always good. Beach crowded and diving was better at Dive Aventuras, worth the transportation to dive with them!Great value for price.

This resort was a great place to stay the staff where friendly and curtious to us and the activities staff made it fun to be by the pool every day the grounds where clean the resturants and wait staff made it a very pleasant dining expierance the only thing I found not to my liking was the temprture of the food on the buffet

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Relaxing vacation

Great place, awesome staff, clean pools, very nice food and drinks. Rooms can use some update, especially the bathrooms but not a deal breaker. Italian and Japanese restaurants were great. Resort is pushing hard on getting vacationers to sign up for Privledge Club membership and offers free massages, helicopter rides etc., so may be value to some as they are only asking for 1 hour of your time. For me, I want to be left alone and prefer reading material and if I like to attend I will approach th [... read more]e desk. Overall please know, great resort and won't mind going back if the price is right. We did not spend anytime at the beach so no comments. Sea weed was an issue dye to under current as per some people we met in the pool.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Wonderful resort super kid friendly

We had an excellent time at Esmerelda. Great food great drinks and nice rooms. The Japanese restaurant and the garden grill were amazing. The Italian was a little lack lustre. Overall we had an amazing time.
