Melia Jardines del Rey: Patience is a must!
The resort is esthetically pleasing and clean. Staff is helpful but at a slow pace. Ocean and pools are lovely. Very disorganized on arrival and departures. We were to have a direct departure from the resort to the airport but we're informed they could only take 35 on the first bus and others would have to wait for a second bus. They had other stops to make. We paid $45 per person for extras which was totally not worth it. We also had issues with our suite. The air conditioner was broken . They d [... read more]
Hotel Camino del Mar: Another Great Week at MCG
You know we just spent another amazing week at the Melia Cayo Guillermo. Travelled with a group of 4 and had another amazing time. We have nothing to complain about. Staff are awesome and while some have moved on the new staff are equally amazing and go out of their way to make sure you have a great trip, you just have to let them.
Melia Las Dunas: Best Resort I Have Stayed At
This resort was amazing. This was my tenth visit to Cuba and the Melia Las Dunas was by far the best resort I have ever stayed at. The pools are huge and spotlessly clean. The room was lovely (second floor, 51 block), the bathroom was a really nice size and there was a lot of room for sitting. The food was very good with three omelet stations in the morning and grills for grilling whatever kind of meat you like during lunch and dinner. I didn't try any of the a la cartes because the buffets were [... read more]
Melia Marina Varadero: Paradise in Cuba
This hotel was first class. Good food, great beach for swimming, adequate pools and pool bars. Service was first class. I highly recommend the upgrade to "The Level" the upgrade includes an extra a la carte restaurant and concierge services.
Memories Cayo Largo: Sad changes
This was our 12th visit to Sol Club Cayo Largo in 6 years. We love the beach and the laid back atmosphere. Unfortunately, this visit we found the food was worse than it has ever been. There is no longer a "train" to Playa Sirena or as many taxis from the airport. We also found that some of the staff have started "looking" for tips and the atmosphere was not as friendly..... We will come again because it's our "Home away from Home" but we hope the changes for the worst are not permanent.
Memories Cayo Largo: Sol Cayo Largo Home away from Home
We stayed from Nov 6 to 13 2015 Even if the resort is showing its age despite the attempt at revamping the grounds... by the way you made it beautiful, the major problem at the Sol is the FOOD. I understand it is a tiny little island far away from the main land or the main island should I say, But do something about the food. Guests can't live on Hotdogs French fries or pizza all week.. That is my only complaint... otherwise it is PERFECT.... we love you Sol Cayo Largo... We love Mario, Moya you [... read more]
Melia Las Antillas: Beautiful Resort, a great place to stay
The room was clean - a little dated but we spent very little time in the room! Beach was gorgeous, the staff was very friendly and helpful; I would definitely stay here again. The buffet food was average for Cuba but once we discovered the omelette station for breakfast, the pool restaurant for lunch and the hot pasta station for dinner, all was good. A la Carte restaurants were all very good as well, especially for chicken and fish/seafood. One note - didn't realize until we got there that they [... read more]
Melia Las Antillas: Amazing resort
Visited resort for 4 times . Best memories during stay under "Beaches". Very good service specially for return guests. The grounds and entertainment are very good. Overall i like this resort. Good variety of food, perfect service at the piano and lobby bars.
Memories Cayo Largo: Great resort for adults.
This was our tenth time in Cuba, third time at Cayo Largo. In my opinion this is the best hotel out of the 4 on the island. The grounds are amazing, rooms are clean and spacious, beach is beautiful, ocean is warm and wild, service is great. It seems to be more of an adult resort.
Melia Cayo Coco: Excellent
Beautiful resort very clean good service very good food entertainment was greatI would recommend to anyone the people are very pleasant and polite we had a lot of fun there and would probably go back again
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Truly amazing!
This resort is the best resort we have traveled to in Cuba! Amazing grounds and beaches, rooms, food and service, we could not have asked for a better vacation. Thank-you Paradisus Rio de Oro and Tripcentral for an amazing vacation!
Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Good value for your dollar
We stayed at this hotel October 16-23, 2015. I've been to Cuba 7+ times previously, so no surprised really! The hotels about 60 minute bus ride from the airport, so make sure you hit the bathroom prior to leaving the airport, its long and boring! The hotel itself is nice and clean with friendly staff. (Not sure if the hotel has new management, lots of changes happening while we were there) We paid for the ocean view, worth every penny, we were over looking the pool bar Mares side (busier/louder) [... read more]
Sol Palmeras: Nice but Mouldy
This place is gorgeous, the lobby is captivating, the pools are gorge, the restaurants are amazing the food is great BUT!!! the rooms are mouldy and if you walk on the main floor, the smell of mould slaps you in the face. I had to change rooms four times to get a room without the smell. I loved this place, the staff was awesome, but I will never go back here again.
Sol Palmeras: Decent resort
Overall the resort was decent. I traveled with my young son and there were many activities to keep him entertained. The snorkeling was 20 CUC extra each but was totally worth it. Lots of sports equipment and the beach is amazing. We had no issues getting a chair at the pool or beach. Food was ok. Ranged from chain buffet type to fairly good. None of the food was amazing. The service was ok. Some friendly staff, some not so friendly staff. Nothing compared to the service I received in other all i [... read more]
Melia Las Americas: A wonderful gettaway
This was my first experience in Cuba and it was an incredible one. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the manager was friendly and available, and there was always something to do. The beach was clean and you were always able to find a place to sit and shade if that is what you wanted. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the service was fast and efficient. Even the food was rather impressive, though I was not fond of the Italian restaurant. I would strongly recommend this to someone who w [... read more]
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Simply the best
We had an absolutely fantastic time at this resort. Everything is top notch and the service and food were superb. Tripcentral had free park and fly and from the time we got to the airport to the time we got home, we had no complaints.
Melia Buenavista: Better Than expected
It was a beautiful resort. Small but intimate. There were always lounges by the pool available, and the food was much better than we expected. The rooms were great, and the outdoor shower was icing on the cake!
Melia Cayo Coco: Melia Cayo Coco
Grounds well groomed.Staff excellent/from chamber maids, grounds keepers, kitchen & bar staff. Food over the top. If any person said they were hungry they have a problem. This is our third visit & staff even remembered our names. Please note.. It is a resort where one goes to R & R. Remember it is not Veradero, where you can jump on a local bus & walk the city. Closest town is Moron @ 1 hour away. There is scuba diving right on site. Good reputation. Can fish off the beach. Nightly shows & daily a [... read more]
Melia Las Dunas: Not a bad place
The hotel in general is ok. Nice green area. Good pool. Room are below average. No ac in many rooms or barely working. Very bad mattresses( worn out or piece of foam on top) lots of ants. Good restaurants and food, staff is very friendly.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Good resort but need some improvement!
This a beautiful resort, the buildings look nice from outside, the yard and pool are kept clean, however the rooms inside can do with some updating and better or proper cleaning, the maid should be changing the towels daily but don't. The food is ok but need to say not the best, breakfast was the best of all. The nightly entertainment shows were great, did enjoyed those. Overall our vacation was ok.
