Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Awesome Resort !
I had never been to Jamaica this was our first trip The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort and Spa was absolutely beautiful ! Staff were very friendly and accommodating , rooms really good size and very clean grounds were well kept . Really enjoyed the Spa services , food well what can i say it was excellent loved the beach bar at the Sunset Cove you order off the menu :-) Jerk Hut on the beach was a favorite amongst the group ! Came back early May and started the planning for next year .There [... read more]
JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Wonderful vacation destination
We loved this resort and Jamaica in general. The food was outstanding, the staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. The facilities were clean and beautiful. This was our first Iberostar experience and we would definitely return to this resort!
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nice resort.
I visited this property in November 2013. The hotel was very large but clean and well maintained. The food was very good. A la carte restaurants were excellent with very good service. The buffet was very busy as this is a very large resort, so often ran out of the more popular things. The pool was well maintained and clean as well. My only negative comment would be that the flooring in and around the resort grounds is marble which is very beautiful but "extremely" slippery when wet, which was of [... read more]
Rooms On The Beach: Great little GEM !
We liked everything about this hotel, nice clean room , comfy bed, the restaurant very reasonably priced and just out on the street is a grocery store beers and coolers are $1.00 on the resort they make the best club house with fries, the pool is small but the beach is on your door step.
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: GOOD !
The Hotel was pretty neat for the most part. The food was AMAZING ! we went for the beach and it was Beautiful! ! ! The only Downfall was the club that was in the entertainment area, it was pretty much emtpy almost all of the time. There was a funky ordor and felt quite stuffy ! other than that all the staff for VERY FRIENDLY AND WERE THERE TO HELP ANYTIME WE NEEDED. THE TOURS WERE ALL VERY GOOD !... we were able to change our la cartes whenever we wished as long as we it didn't pass our schedul [... read more]
Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Amazing, amazing amazing
Hotel was amazing, service was excellent, food was always good, room was cleaned and maintained daily and bar fridge was always full. Staff were always pleasant and courteous. A must see. Will return for sure.
Riu Negril: Nice resort but rooms need updating
Dining and food was good. Rooms not so great. Beach very nice. Liked that it was close to rooms and had lots of loungers. We didn't use the pools so can' review them. We had a long delay leaving Toronto due to weather and when we finally arrived couldn't get a drink as all bars were closed. Think there should be more bars with entertainment and open longer as older people don't want to go to disco. We were not happy with Sunwing as we should have been told there would be a delay but when we chec [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing Resort
We travelled as a group of 5, all of us being 25-28, we had a fabulous You can't beat their jerk chicken (available daily on the beach). Their beach is a great size, not over crowded. And you can always find a spot at the pool.
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nice resort
Staff were amazing and very accomodating. Pools were live and fun when they were having contests. Beach wasn't that great -small and rocky. Resort should have more a la carte options. Would recommend!
Sandals Caribbean Cay: Great! but not typical Sandals vacation
A little about us 35-40 years old. We do a lot of traveling and this was our second Sandals vacation. Our first Sandals was at Royal Caribbean and this resort was not close to the luxury there but I will break it down for you in categories: We stayed at the beach side in the honeymoon beachfront club level. Location: it is far from the airport. Almost 1.5 hours. as long as you are aware of it, It won't bother you that much. Accommodation: STAY on beach side, the life is at the beach, we shuttl [... read more]
Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great Staff, Great area.
I went on this trip with my girlfriend. We are 25 and 23 years of age. We stayed on the beach side as we were on a budget and it sure didnt feel like we were on a budget. The grounds were great. There was 3 or 4 different restaurants. All featured a buffet for your sides and you were ordering ur main ela cart. Main Buffet had THE BEST OMELETTES for breakfast. Only complaint is sun sets on the wrong side of the beach so you lose all sun by 5ish without a sunset. O well close to supper time anyw [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: elegant but crowded
Hotel was clean, had many wild cats on it though. The resort is extreamly large and crowded even in the summer months. However, very elegant. We were part of the VIP, free internet, pretty weel the only perk.
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nice resort
Example: What did you think about this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.) Grounds are kept nice, food and specialy grill on the beach is outstanding. Service was good however could be better.
Rooms on the Beach Negril: Amazing place
We like the fact that it was directly on the beach, not too crowed. Nice staff. Basic continental breakfast could be healthier. Nice hotel and rooms. Close to downtown 2 km ( walk). lots of restaurant nearby and pretty safe to walk the beach at night, lots of resto on the beachtoo. not really a resort with kids , no activity. Would hightly recommend this resort
Sunset at the Palms: Great resort!
Beautiful unique accommodations. Great beach and friendly helpful staff. Limited restaurant selections but still good food and presentation. Beach is a short walk across the road. Beach grill great along with bar service.
Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful Resort, But Disappointing....
The resort itself is beautiful. Gorgeous buildings and well maintained grounds. It is a huge resort, but there are really only 2 nice beaches. Both a distance from the buildings on the Grand Palladium side. There is only 1 jerk hut, which is always packed and the chicken isn't even that good compared to other jerk chicken I've had. Lots of restaurants, but confusing as they all have different hours, dress attire, and/or reservations. A resort map would have made things much easier! Food was defi [... read more]
Sunset at the Palms: Relaxing secluded resort
Very nice resort, everything was well kept and the food was great. No complaints, as advertised. Beach is across the street but still only a few minutes away. Very small resort, the staff gets to know you which is great.
Rooms On The Beach: Great Resort
We thought Rooms On the Beach was a great deal for the money, although it wasn't all inclusive food was reasonably priced and very tasty! Drinks weren't over priced either, we usually just took our own down by the bar and made our own though. It is centrally located which made walking for meals or liquor convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and lovely view of the water, watching cruise ships come and go was an added bonus.
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Wonderful wonderful !
My husband and I enjoyed every square inch of this resort ! We enjoyed ALL the staff. Food , beach , pools and service A++++. The jerk chick beach restaurant was the best we are there almost twice a day. Most beautiful area to enjoy Jamaica's food , ocean and people. We loved everything !
Riu Montego Bay: Good resort
the resort it self is nice. Food was excellet!! Everythuing I tried was deliciouse. THe staff could be a bit more frendly but all in all they were okay. The pools are very nice and the pool bar is a great place to hang out. The beach though is real bad. THe sand is rocky and the water is full of weeds and fish.
