Hotel Mojito: Another wonderful vacation

This is the third time I have been to this resort in the last year, it is a wonderful place to go if you want a laid back, comfortable place with fabulous staff. We stayed in the 23 block this time and these superior rooms were great it was quiet and I really enjoyed the main level so I could enjoy sitting on the patio. The bartenders were great as were the staff in the buffet. A special thanks to the front desk staff, Ana is always so very helpful!

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Nice Resort, would stay again

Resort was nicely laid out. Not so large that you had to walk miles to get anywhere. Rooms were bright, beds comfortable. Bungalows 1,2,3,4 and 6 are centrally located. Beach was good at end accessed behind bungalow 5. Other end still has coral which would require water shoes. Food was decent. Make to order omelets, fish, and pasta available as well as buffet. Would travel there again.

Hotel Playa Coco: good resort

The hotel grounds were good , dining good overall athmosphere was good No complaints , beech was not what I excepted , too much rocks close to shore , not enough of a sandy beech. I did not like the fact it was very seculed from general population therefore there was not enough do do outside of the resort.

Melia Cayo Coco: Melia Cayo Coco

Grounds well groomed.Staff excellent/from chamber maids,grounds keepers, kitchen & bar staff. Food over the top. If any person said they were hungry they have a problem. This is our third visit & staff even remembered our names.Please note.. It is a resort where one goes to R & R. Remember it is not Veradero, where you can jump on a local bus & walk the city. Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great Trip

Our room was attached to a suite and seemed to be a little smaller than what we expected! Upon arrival, my wife spotted a big cockroach on the door frame between the suite and our room. We reported this to front desk and the lady offered to spray our room. We did not want to stay in a room for a whole week where insecticide was sprayed and declined her offer. Thankfully, we did not see another unwelcome critter after the first day. The view of room was great as we had an ocean view room. The bea [... read more]ch is conveniently located - a couple of minute walk from our room. It troubled us to see a worker spraying insecticide in the resort in the morning and evening without wearing any protective gear. These workers deserve better protection for their health sake. The kitchen staff were very friendly and we made some friends there. Was a Good trip for the price we paid.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Great piña Colada's

Need to remove corels rocks on Beach. Need bigger variety of food (especially for supper). Need a disco on site! You have it. Just open it! Use real hamburger meat for burgers and fry them. Need switch to turn off my balcony light.

Melia Jardines del Rey: large self contained resort

Nice grounds well maintained with many 3 story buildings. Resort is in the shape of a butterfly with central boulevard containing specialty restaurants and lobby and bars. Only drawback were mosquitoes which were biting.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Saw the ocean from the lobby

Liked this resort because it was on the smaller size. Around 300 rooms in total. You didn't have to walk miles to go from room to eat, or walk to pool or beach. The grounds are lovely and looked after. The staff take great care with their jobs. Had two pools side by side. Nice. Too many kids for my liking. I went to the beach instead. Aboutsely beautiful. Loved it !!! Last but not least. The food was not the best at ALL. How can you eat the same things day after day. A better variety is definitely needed. The fruit was delicious. Can't top. Don't get fruit like that at home. Our room was good. Clean and spacious. Had room on third floor in the Varadero building. Could see the ocean when the palms trees swayed. Building was close to the pool/lobby/buffet. Sometimes when we would enter room you could smell sewer smell. Weird. Also the shower curtain was hanging by clear fishing line. Very strange. If you go take Kleenex and face clothes. Resort doesn't have. Also bug spray. I would go back if the food was improved. You can't eat the same food for a week. Lots of people had upset stomachs at end of trip. Mine included, took almost a week to get better.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Nice resort - good value

We stayed at Memories Flamenco resort from Sept. 30 - Oct. 7. There were 5 of us including myself, my husband, his parents, and our 16 year old son. This was our 4th trip to Cuba, but our first time to this resort. The resort was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The beach was a bit of a disappointment as it was very rocky, however, we took the double decker bus to Pilar Beach a couple of times and that more than made up for it. Overall it was a very relaxing vacation.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Nice Resort

Rooms were spacious and clean, Resort had beautiful grounds, nice clean pools. Food was good everywhere we ate, buffet, ala cartes and snack bars. Great beach, could walk for a long way in either direction, water was clear and no big waves . Resort staff were all friendly and helpful.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Great report, poor rooms

Poor rooms, furniture has to be replace and walls and cealing has to be refresh but it was very clean. Every demands were accommodated prontly Service was extraordinary. No coffee mate for coffee in the room

Hotel Playa Paraiso: over rated

adele and i were very disappointed with our vacation to pestana kayo coco.we have visited cuba 13 times to different hotels all of which were far better than pestana.the bar was poorly run with poor service& weak drinks were never offered 2nd.drinks we served ourselves more often then not.the buffet was very mediocre.we also got a 2min. scolding by the chair staff on the beach for moving our chairs 6ft. i must say the hotel is clean &well kept with a nice beach. would we return NO.ror us it was  [... read more]a waste of money.jim &adele Dvorak.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: A nice place to visit

It's a very nice resort, the beach is clean, and clean pool, room is clean, the cleaned it every day. Staff are friendly and the service is excellent, food is good, recreation activity is every day night time depends on the interest of the visitors.

Hotel Camino del Mar: great week

Our week at melia cayo Guillermo was very good. The resort is a little tired and does need a lot of updating but the staff makes up for it. This resort is smaller and the staff gets to know you and takes care of all your needs.Most people we met there have been to this resort many times. That alone tells you everything. The beach is beautiful. We would not hesitate to go back again.

I am not one to complain about little things in life, the resort and stay was well worth the money. Thanks to all the people at the resort that made to week fly by way to fast. Food was good beaches were beautiful.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Memories Flamenco

Overall this is a good resort for a week, not longer. It is relatively remote as you pretty much have to take a bus, cab, whatever to get anywhere off the resort. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Resort accommodations are great and so are the facilities, bars, pool, etc. Beach is a 6 out of 10.Buffet restaurant is very good, the 3 alacart restaurants are very much lacking if your looking for something special. I had beef in the Japanese restaurant which was like cutting and chewing rubber (d [... read more]idn't finish it) After 10:00 p.m there is pretty much nothing to do other than drink at the bar as they have closed the disco in the resort. There is a disco at a nearby resort, but again its a cab/bus ride away

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Beautiful resort

Beautiful beach and pool. Lobby was really nice and causy. Food at all a la carte restaurants was delicious and buffet had lots of variety. Rooms would require to be refreshed a little. Customer service really effective.

Tryp Cayo Coco: Cayo Coco TRYP -

Grounds: Very Clean, well kept. Public washroom: 4/5 Clean overall, owever some stalls were in repair. Rooms: Great Rooms, well kept, clean, great A/C Dining: Food was much better than Varadero. You could always find something. Pizza was great. Breakfast pancake more like a crepe so thumbs up on that, great French toast. I only wish the NIght Club was available more nights. if i wanted dancing or entertainement I had to take the excusriosn to the club or the cave. If I am paying for an all inclu [... read more]sive I should have the option to have the club available at any time, not only Saturday Sunday and Monday. Hard to get a Taxi/Cab at night in Cayo Coco. if you don't take the excustion bus you are essentially stuck on your resort and hope the club is open. THE STAFF: AWESOME, FRIENDLY, KIND, HELPFUL one of the best vacations I've been on.

Hotel Playa Coco: bad

had to wait 4 hours for a room.food for three days was fridge cold.condements had fruit flys in it and told them about it they just waved them off and kept serving condements.tolets were broke called down to desk and waited until end of trip to get it fixed.hotlel staff didn't care if we were there or not very rude.couldn't see the bottom of the pool for 4 days so couldn't use the pool.just too many things went wrong and have been going to same hotel for 5 yrs and will not go back.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Awesome Beach and the Staff are #1

I spent a week here in late Sept and had a wonderful time. I brought two friends that had been to many other high end resorts in Mexico and the Dominican, and I wasn’t sure if they would like it, but they were very impressed also. The resort has a real ‘chilled’ intimate vibe to it, and the pier is amazing for fishing and snorkeling. The Staff are a major reason why I will be back. I’m sorry I can’t remember all the staffs’ names but I want to acknowledge the following staff that really stood out – Yanaris, Anna, Vania, Barbara, and everyone at the Lobby Bar. I will definitely be back.
