Melia Las Antillas: Very Disappointed
The Hotel is very outdated and seriously needs to be updated and cleaned up starting from the elevators that don't work ! Bathroom showers that have rusted ceilings, ceramic tiles that are about to fall off, bathroom doors that are rotting away and mattresses that you can feel the springs pushing against your back, not to mention the terrible pillows. This used to be a very nice place, but it has definitely been neglected and is certainly not up to the Melia standards. It,s more like a 2 star Ho [... read more]
Melia Las Dunas: Best resort in Cayo Santa Clara
This was my sixth visit to Melia las Dunas. I've walked through many other resorts in the area and spoken to many people and this resort is first class. A super holiday for family's , singles and couples. Safety was never a concern as the only people allowed across the causeway are workers and guests. All vehicles pass through a military check point. The staff are excellent as well as the food. Once you've been to the best you don't even want to to try anything else.
Melia Las Antillas: Great resort for the money
Had a great time. Nice hotel and great beach. Food most likely normal for Cuba, not the best, but lots of variety. Staff all very nice and helpful. Rooms starting to look their age. Hotel working hard to improve the grounds. No problem returning to this hotel.
Hotel Camino del Mar: Awesome Beach and the Staff are #1
I spent a week here in late Sept and had a wonderful time. I brought two friends that had been to many other high end resorts in Mexico and the Dominican, and I wasn’t sure if they would like it, but they were very impressed also. The resort has a real ‘chilled’ intimate vibe to it, and the pier is amazing for fishing and snorkeling. The Staff are a major reason why I will be back. They are consistently friendly and helpful, and they make you feel important (which must be hard with new va [... read more]
Melia Jardines del Rey: Wow! Beautiful !
Everything from check in to check out was great . Beach was great only downfall was a lot of rocks close to the shore so watch your feet. Food was good only thing since it was down time we were unsure where we were going to eat buffet was closed at dinner some nights. Service and rooms were some of the best I have had Would for sure go back again
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Really amazing place
Good people good food and a beautiful beach u can't really ask for more than that !! Really enjoyed this resort!!! Totally recomend just what the doctor orderd check it out. 24 he room service is a nice feature.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Nice Place, we will return.
Very nice Hotel in Veradero. Resort is nice, staff is very attentive. A la cart restaurants were very good. We didn't get to the Japanese because of a snafu with the reservation but all good other then that. Hilltop Restaurant was our favourite. We spent most of our time at the beach and staff there was great. Beaches are the best I've seen. Royal service is well worth it. Our butler Jan did a great job to make our trip worry free. We will be back.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Awesome Week!!
We have just returned from a week vacation at the Paradisus Princess Del Mar and had a wonderful time. We loved the resort. The staff was awesome! They were all very friendly especially Mila the bartender and server at the beach bar on the Royal Service side. Mila and the young blond girl (sorry don't remember her name) were always checking to make sure that we were good. Jan our butler was great. He always made sure that we were having a good time and always let us know that he was there for an [... read more]
Melia Las Americas: great service, great location for golf
the beach is almost private one!! the food (a part the Limensolo) were very good for Cuban standard. most of the staff were very helfull. the Wi-Fi is getting much better with good connections and speed. they need to do a better show in the evenings...
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Beautiful resort, beautiful beach....
Wonderful and restful vacation. Grounds well kept , beach and beach activities amazing. Spent most of my time at the multi pool area and cabana. Staff were very helpful, friendly, went out of their way for you.
Melia Las Americas: If you love golf, you'll love this resort!
The 18 hole golf course is excellent. The grounds are spectacular, and each day staff cut down coconuts from the trees so guests can enjoy. The beach is just breathtaking! Bartender Raul is worth the price of admission alone. Yoga and ocean exercise with Lazaro will keep you laughing and moving. We had a king size bed in the main hotel and it was very firm (too much so for us). If you can, get a bungalow as they are much nicer.
Memories Cayo Largo: Pleasantly Surprised
Despite reading detrimental reviews on line in regard to the Sol Cayo resort in Cayo Largo, my wife and the writer made arrangement to visit the resort during the period September 24th to October 8th 2015. Prior to our departure, we assumed that this would be a probable mistake and that this experience would be one that we had not had before at any other resorts. Well, the flight with Cubana Air was just great with a good snack at no cost to us. It was more than we expected and better food that [... read more]
Melia Marina Varadero: good resort
Excellent and professional services, good location, nice hotel beach, good pool, a lot of entertainment and shows, different types of restaurants, clean rooms, a very good memory. We will stay in this hotel again, and certainly recommend to our friends
Melia Buenavista: Big disappointment!
This resort is not 5* hotel at all. Room, garden, beaches are good, people are huge asset of that resort, they trying to do the best they can, very friendly, helpful. The huge disapointment is food and the restaurants. It is barely 2*. We ended up going to have dinners and lunches to Melia Las Dunas, which is 4 stars, but food is much much better.
Melia Las Antillas: Beautiful experience
loved Cuba the beaches and the people and their unconditional love and integrity will go back next year September was too hot will try January. It was quiet and peaceful place did a lot of meditation and yoga will recommend to people to try the ocean. Meditation I came back on Sept 29 and I am missing the water its all inclusive deal was very good and some problems came but they fixed it right away get your room upgrades for 40 pesos worth it and get 5 floor the view is great front or back of th [... read more]
Melia Cayo Coco: Our second home!
My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary, Sept. 14-28, 2015. It was our second time at the Melia Cayo Coco (last year we were here for our honeymoon) and it felt like we came back home! Everything from the room, food and resort as a whole was perfect! However, like many comments, it was the staff that made it so incredibly special. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful. However, we do have to single out a few who made it extra special. Omar from the breakfast [... read more]
Melia Jardines del Rey: Large Beautiful Resort
2nd time visiting this resort. Met some great people on the plane trip down, which made the trip a lot more rewarding. January it was busy about 850 people..this time in September very quiet only about 150. This effected the quality and food and service. Buffet and food ala carts less options and they allowed the quality to drop. Rooms and housekeeping service top notch. Pool amazing..beach still rocky needs more work. Take time to go to the lobster shack as well as get the catamaran and do the [... read more]
Melia Las Dunas: Awesome family vacation!
The resort is huge and beautiful! The staff is so nice and everyone is smiling and greeting you. Very diversified meals which is great. But the most amazing is the beach. I've been to Turks and Caicos but the beach at Cayo Santa Maria is more beautiful! Wow! :)
Melia Cayo Coco: Fantastic vacation!
We celebrated my mothers' 80th birthday here. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The gardens were well maintained and beautiful to explore. Loved that the pool, beach and restaurants were all easy for my mother to get around easily and safely on her own. The food was excellent with lots of variety. This is my second vist here. I was first here with my husband 2 years previous and was not disappointed upon my second visit!
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Resort beyond expectation
Contrary to friends' opinions, Paradisus Princesa Del Mar service and layout are beyond expectation. One thing that really stood out was the friendliness of the staff. They were always willing to go out of their job routines to assist you.
