Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Best Holiday So Far

Awesome! Good accomodations and excellent staff. Staff was very friendly and polite. Rooms were very clean and grounds were beautiful. Great location. This resort makes for a wonderful family vacation.

SeaGarden Beach Resort: Quaint Resort

The Seagarden Beach Resort is a small, clean, and fairly quiet resort. Most staff are friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the day staff at the front desk, the entertainment staff, the buffet staff, and the beach staff who helped make our trip so pleasant. The food selection is somewhat limited but always delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Our only issue was overeating. The drinks were also always excellent as well. The beach is small and picturesque but never overcrowded. Staff an [... read more]d guests were always very friendly. The swimming area is like a large ocean pool. There is no undercurrent and I always felt safe swimming there. If you go past the roped off area make sure that you wear water shoes although you will not need them in the roped in area. The airport is close and the airplanes fly by the beach. They were delightful to watch. Our only issue was being constantly harassed by the local people when you go off resort. Some can be relentless. The resort is within walking distance to the "Hip Strip" but there is a nice gift shop within the resort. It is a bit pricier then the strip but it is very convenient. The resort itself is very peaceful and relaxing. There is a beautiful view of the sunset from the beach. There is also a beautiful sunrise from the pool view rooms facing the hillside. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Not a five star hotel

We stayed there in February for a wedding. There were no seafood serve in the buffet restaurant. I.e no grilled fish or shrimp. The shower in the room is moldy and smelly. The rooms are noisy . You can hear the doors from the other room closing and opening. I think the price for this hotel is over priced.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Grand Experience!

We stayed at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in March 2014. We had an excellent room with lots of space to spread out. I love the bathroom with two sinks. The food was really good!. The resort was very clean. The staff was always pleasant. Must try the Jamica Smile drink!!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great place to relax!

This was our first all inclusive trip! We flew with Air Transat out of Toronto and got to the resort just as the sun was setting. We were in the Royal Golden section and had a separate check in with a welcome cocktail which was great. Our room was 3 floors up overlooking the middle of the pool. There were a couple of buffet's to choose from aside from the a-la-carte's. The most popular place to eat for lunch is at the jerk shack located on the larger beach (the beach in front of the resort is pe [... read more]bbly, the larger one to the west is the better beach). There are plenty of water sports and activities to keep you amused. Just head down to the beach hut and the water staff will happily help you out. The room was clean (we also had amazing towel art every day), staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was exactly what we needed-CHILL! We are going back again to Bahia to get married in May 2015 and we are bringing 40 people with us...Can't wait! :)

Riu Negril: Riu Negril is a awesome resort

My family had a great vacation at the Riu Negril in April 2014. The grounds are beautiful with one of the nicest beaches in the world and perfect for long walks. Everything was clean and the restaurants and food were excellent. The Jamaican people are the happiest and friendliest in the world. Ricks Cafe is a must see for all tourists

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Grand paddulium jamaica

Beautiful place. Food great, staff awesome. If you want great beach or have mobility issues this resort is not for you. The biggest pool in Jamaica but not crowded at all. Loved our room . The location was great. We were in building 11 right by the pool on bottom floor. No bugs in room at all.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Best resort

Very clean with friendly staff hotel. Food is really great. Amazing beach and bars. Variety of restaurant to,satisfy everybody . Nice clean rooms . Will return if we can. Good animation program with different shows every night.

Catalonia Montego Bay: It was super quaint and nice and small.

The staff was awesome and the food was great. We really enjoyed the hospitality from the staff. Everyone was very helpful and loved to talk! We were greatly surprised at the evening view of the cruise ships as they past our beach area while dining on the balcony of the al la carte restaurants. Sandals Caribbean Cay: A lovely lovers nest !

This was our 1st experience with an adult only all-inclusive. We went to celebrate our 20th anniversary and it really did feel like a week long date! We received excellent service from everyone. The staff made you feel well taken care of. The staff appeared to be loving their employment at this location. We did not tip( as per their policy) and we were never made to feel that we should. The food excellent,great variety,always available with tons of healthy choices. The ocean was lovely.....clear,warm,blue....beautiful. Our room was huge,clean,a/c with a view of the ocean. Down side-a peacock roosted from 5am on-wards every 5 mins and every single morning and we could not sleep. The sunrise was nice to see. The beach was ok. You could not walk the beach for exercise,too short. The gym was amazing! New equipment and no one there. The only disappointment was the nightly entertainment- simply,it was terrible. Night after night - 2 thumbs down.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Disappointing

Negatives: No A/C in the restaurants; A/C didn't always work in the room; maids stole articles of clothing from our room (and other items from other guests, from what we heard); there were never any fresh beach towels available; room service took OVER 2 hours to deliver (when they advertise a 45 minute max. wait time). Positives: Beach and pool were great, the wedding gazebo location was perfect for our wedding. Couples Secret Rendezvous: Lovely Beach and View

Liked this hotel, although, disappointed because we do not believe it is worthy of 4 or 5 star rating. Food was OK but not amazing. Specialty restaurants served same fare as the buffet. Entertainment was very low key and almost non existent. Beach Party was very good. Staff were friendly overall. It was difficult to get beach service but the bars are very close for self service and the bar tenders attentive. Housekeeping was good- we had a beautiful room with excellent view. Beach is small and it was sometimes challenging to get a chair or a place to put one. To sum it up - small resort, very quiet, easy access to all areas, pleasant staff, OK food, nice accommodations, beautiful beach, but small. Lots of water sports but reservations required and difficult to get if you wait too long to book. Very laid back atmosphere, restful.

Jewel Paradise Cove: “ Perfect”

This was our first visit to Jamaica and it was a great time, The staff was wonderful and friendly. The food and service was great. We especially enjoyed the Moonstone (Italian restaurant). Grand Decameron Montego Beach: use to be my favorite place in the world

I have been going to this resort for 8 years, And up until this trip it was like going home I loved it , However alot of staff has changed and things are not what they use too be .I felt like a stranger the front desk staff was rude The entertainment staff was lacking that vibe that I have come to love of this resort.This resort was never a 5 star but in all my other reviews I rated it at leadt a 4 or more because what it lacked in size or beach or food the staff allways made those things seem u [... read more]nimportant because you were made to feel like family and there was allways good vibes .Im very sad to have to say that im unhappy with this last trip.I really hope they pull it together.

Wasn't thrilled with the different LEVELS of AlI Inclusive. Certainly had the typical Jamaican hospitality which I love and the weather was second to none Plenty to do however as I mentioned not everything and everywhere available to all guests which left a bit of a us and them feel to it

Catalonia Montego Bay: beautiful family vacation

Home away from home. Absolutely love this location for family vacation, I have been four times to this resort and will probably return one day soon. The food is awesome LOVE the jerk hut it's always my first stop when arriving.

Secrets St James: Lovely Resort

The oceanview room was fantastic with a brilliant room service set up. Dining was always a pleasure at all restaurants and reservations were never a problem. Outdoor music by the lounge was enjoyable and the availability of liquers was positive.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: nice older place

good food good snorkelling clean relaxing place no "beach", lots of spaces to play good loc. near airport & strip. would go back for the right price but I enjoy a good beach, this place has everything but that, still go for the fun of it.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort for couples and families

My Wife and I were at this resort in Oct 2013. This is a great resort and we are contemplating our return this fall to this resort or another one in Jamaica. During our two week stay at this resort, the only 2 complaints that we have is the steak restaurant and the bartenders at the outside patio on the main hotel level. We found that the people who managed this restaurant were rude and the food mediocre. The bartenders at the outside main bar were less than friendly. We tipped the maid daily as well as numerous other places around the resort. Bring lots of US dollars for tipping although the hotel is supposed to be all inclusive. We only went once to the evening outdoor show which we found Ok. We went with Golden Club and these people cannot do enough for you to resolve any complaints. There is also free internet at the Golden Club. The people selling time share or whatever they are selling are a pain and a nuisance. The hotel can be accessed from anywhere on the 3rd level and is great when it is raining. You can get to anywhere on this level and there are elevators for your use. No need to walk up stairs unless one really wants to. All in all, this is a great resort and one should be unafraid to stay at this resort. The beach area in rocky and there are lots of chairs and umbrellas for everyone.

Couples Swept Away: Wonderful resort!

We have only good things to say about Couples Swept Away. A beautiful, laid back adults only resort. The beach was incredible.....the best we've seen. The resort's amenities were great. The 25 meter pool is just outstanding for anyone who likes to swim. The food was to die for.....and the people that worked at the resort were gracious and lovely. We would go back in a heartbeat...this is one of our favourite places, ever.
