Palma Real: Good downtown resort

Overall a good resort, the service was good and we enjoyed our stay. Immediately upon return to Canada my wife became very sick, it was confirmed by our local hospital that she had salmonella. The only place we ate was at the resort and was careful to drink only bottle water supplied by the resort.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Nice clean resort

We were there March 24 18 for one week El mohito steak seafood restaurant in varadero. Good iOS and very cute and private dining. 1952 Plymouth Ricardo our cab driver. Awesome guy and lots of fun Our room 10321 3rd floor nice can see ocean sun at supper on deck ask for few more beer in room seem hesitant to give u any at first. Pools and grounds very clean and kept up. Beach very clean gorgeous and lots of chairs huts. Food average for Cuba it was not bad better than five years ago but was at another resort. Cheap in fillings at omelette station never have had that on any vacation. Mostly an egg when u get maybe half tsp of fillings u want. Didn’t like the water downed juice in morning or it’s powder. Sometimes like watered down tang. Was looking forward to great orange juice. Snack bar in one side had fish and chips and chicken and chips. Do not miss out on that. It was so yummy. Rooms very clean no bugs beds not so great but tolerable. Screens on doors would be nice and also umbrellas for pool area. Not one there. One pool quieter pool has bar was to have snack bar but the whole week no food there. Awesome staff at swim up bar. Felix and Aileen and Roberto u rock. Service for drinks around the pool and always cleaning up all day. Cuba u beat any destination out on this and keep it up. Never no glasses and mess around pool. The pools were amazingly clean and lots of pool areas for so not crowded. Ground keepers working hard to keep everything looking beautiful. Half hour to 40 mins from airport. I would go back to this resort again.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Another Wonderful vacation at Ibeorstar Laquna Azul!

This was our 4th time to The Iberostar Laguna Azul.We always look forward to returning & can't wait til next year.The staff are #1 , they really make this place special.Very clean resort lots of food.Great pools & The best beach!All the A la carte restaurant were really good but the Japanese is the Best!!All in all a great resort. This resort was well kept, nice grounds, fabulous beach...rooms were a little dated but clean and comfortable, staff was terrific, animation staff was amazing, always lots to do at the resort....beach party, live band on the patio, numerous other games and events...it is a large resort but laid out well so nothing is too far away, lots of room at the beach, easy to get chairs....the only thing is the long line ups, there is not enough staff to serve the amount of people at the resort...wait time [... read more]s at the bars and for pasta at the dinner buffet were over 1/2 hour long, same with breakfast....but, lots to eat and good food if you don't want anything made by the chef

Brisas Del Caribe: brisas del caribe what a great place and people and great time

had a great visit back at brisas del caribe for our 14th time over years, great people just like family to us. food much better and of course drinks were fantastic too. keep up the great work and tks to jenn black at trip central.see ya next year!!!!!!!!.

Club Kawama: Wonderful resort

Pools are clean and atmosphere is positive. Only draw back was line up go buffet and running out of dishes and glasses but the grill by the 24 hour bar is fantastic. Entertainment okay but foam pool party was fun. Rooms could use some upgrade but its cuba

Playa Caleta: Amazing staff

The hotel itself was what you would expect in Cuba. The rooms were clean and the staff were extremely nice. BRING HOTSAUCE TRUST ME!! If you love fish (I’m allergic yay 😩) then you’ll be happy because they catch the fish daily (if you wake up early enough you can see them fishing). The only negative to the hotel was the excursion people (havanatur)... booker the Dolphin swim for my two boys and just the show for myself and I basically had to argue with them to get next to nothing back [... read more] when my youngest (6 yrs old) was too scared and there was also no dolphin show but they didn’t tell you this until you got there.

Punta Peninsula Varadero: Great Getaway

Friendly relaxed feeling. Familiar staff from previous stay. Clean, comfortable room.Under new ownership and name has now changed to Playa Marina Varadero. Food selection was good but buffet selections often cold. Fortunately able to get fresh grill cooked items. Plan to go back next year.

Hotel Los Cactus: Hotel Los Cactus

Hotel was lovely, staff friendly, food and amenities great, entertainment was good. Golf was great. Value for money in every aspect of this vacation, we will return. Bev as usual, was key to making this another fabulous vacation.

Gran Caribe Sun Beach: amazing resort

Everything was amazing. Great food, great location, great service for a very good price. Thanks for everything. We will definitely be back and we'll be booking through Kevin Dupuis at tripcentral.ca

Hotel Los Cactus: Improving Each Time!

This was our 5th trip to this Resort. We love the beach at this location. Each time we visit this resort things are always improved. The grounds, the buildings, the pool and hot tubs were always in impeccable shape. The rooms were always cleaned well and were spacious. The animation team and the staff were always friendly and eager to help and make it fun! We are looking forward to going back next March!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Cuba vacation

Amazing views, nice beach and pool area. Friendly staff. We had some bumps with check in as our flight arrived early in the morning (6 am) and check in time is 4 pm, so we had to wonder the halls and grounds till 2 pm when rooms became available.

Playa Caleta: HORRIBLE RESORT

Would not recommend this resort. There was a gas smell in the room we were in. Went down to the reception 3 times and they basically couldn't do anything about it .Ended up getting sick. Talked to other people and they never had smell in there room on the other side of building so why not change our room for us? Also we were out of hot water for 6 days. Elevators only worked part time.

Melia Marina Varadero: A great resort

Bear by beach and marina very convenient for boating activitis, good swimming pools. lots of bar in front of beach, swimming pool. great music and singer every day in the lobby. variety fool option, very clean and comfortable. really enjoyed stay

Melia Peninsula Varadero: great beach

Not that impressed. Resort is older, there is ongoing renovation. Main buffet not welcoming. Food not the best, lacking variety and taste. Ala cart restaurants good. Staff curtious. Entertainment pretty good.

Playa Caleta: Always a pleasure!!!

We were very happy with our stay from the moment we arrived. We were welcomed by front desk and they were smiles all around. We went straight to our room prior to check in time and it was clean! Great Hotel

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Fabulous Hotel

We ate, we laughed, we snorkled and swam with the Dolphins!!!! The beach was amazing. The water was crystal clear and warm. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Resort was awesome. Will be back soon.

Melia Marina Varadero: It was wonderful

Not exactly like the picture above .. my stay was very good , enjoyed it .. although I can’t compare it to others much ( I have not traveled a lot ) all and all it was good ! :) would def. return to this resort

Excellent resort.Third time there.Lot's improvement done from last year.Will go again.Beautiful beach ,lot's shade if you need,very clean,amazing landscape.Good service.Very peaceful blockB.Nice bars excellent coffee.

Club Karey: quiet and comfortable

needs toilet paper and more food selection. a la carte needs to be open everyday with more selection. shuttle into town like others. and money at front desk. pina coladas made fresh. no charge for beach towels. food to be hot.
