Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Had a great time!!

The resort is huge. But it is well managed. Clean, efficiently run. No line ups. The food was great. Buffet was filled up before things were empty. The al a cartes were very good too. The people are exceptional. The rooms are large and clean. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The resort was beautiful and very clean. Plentiful with the food and was very good. Only issue we had was the staff seemed very unfriendly and would talk amongst themselves we always tipped anyways. The maids were very friendly. Beach was beautiful but was hard to get chairs around the pool and beach areas. Umbrellas were not plentiful. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Very nice. Very big. Very Busy.

If you like big spanding resorts with lots of nice things to look at, this is for you. If you want a more personal experience with attentive service not so much. Not enough staff to handle the demand. For the most part everyone is friendly but too busy. Beach is narrow and on an incline but clean and nice enough. Tough to enter the water in many areas. Pools are all nice. So busy we could only get very very late dinner reservations. Its like a small city here. A top notch hotel in service, cleanliness, and staff, we have been going there for the last few years, I usually choose this chain of resorts , we have introduced our children and their spouses. My only regret is that I did not choose the adult only section, I found that there was way too many young children, I was looking for a relaxing quiet section

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazaing Resort

Resort was wonderful, staff was courteous and accommodating. For once, I felt that "all inclusive" was actually just that because the food was abundant and tasty, the wine flowed all week and it didn't matter if tips were given or not, the level of service was the same. I would definitely return.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: very very good resort from foods to accomodation

they are good in very ways from staff to foods to accomodation only just small items that is not great, the serving bars they should have a number for each customers because some of them is just come in and they are served it should be first come first serve by the numbers for fairnees. and some restaurant like the le gourmet they need to be up-graded in service but it is okay for me by now. thanks

This resort exceeded our expectations. The people were so friendly and helpful, the grounds were kept very clean and the food and dining was outstanding. Could use more bars and experienced bartenders.

The workers are amazing Eddy and all the staff the food is good not 5 star but it is a four star this was our second time to this resort no reward for return visitors the grounds are well kept always being worked the rooms are clean but dated. the pools are clean for us Canadians yes they do have clamato for the ceazers lovers

Generally, this property was a good match for me. It hit all the top notes on my list of priorities. As with many hotel rooms, I wish the lighting in the bathroom for grooming and at the bedside for reading in bed were better. It would also have been preferable to have access to more wall receptacles, given the number of items (some medical) I had requiring recharging. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet. The availability and variety of beverages was more than sufficient to satisfy my requirements. The only problem in this regard was the welcome cocktail served for the French-themed buffet dinner . . . the Kir (white wine + Creme de Cassis) was dreadfully short of Cassis so as to be merely white wine. We were unsuccessful in conveying this information to staff. A beautiful property, wonderfully walkable beach, lovely staff, great facilities and maintenance . . . I would return in a heartbeat.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Pictures do not do justice! Amazing Staff!

What a beautiful place to spend our vacation. The scenery is picturesque. It is so nice to visit an area that is not over-commercialized with massive hotels side by side. The hotel was in immaculate condition and the staff would stop at nothing to deliver guests a fantastic experience. The ocean water was so warm and because you're in a bay there was no fear of large waves when kayaking or with small children. The food was fresh and there was enough variety for everyone. It is hard to find a com [... read more]plaint except to say the wifi was "free" meaning 1 hour a day and it was very spotty. We purchased an hour for the week so we could have access in our room. The service was slightly better with that option.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: great resort

Personal safety is a going concern as we were warned by the resort staff not to book a tour unless it was booked within the resort. The grounds are clean. Great service as the ceiling fan did not work when we arrived and there was someone there for repairs within 30 minutes. There is a great variety of food to choose from at the buffet and there are many a la cart restaurants to choose from.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Decent resort

The grounds were nice, rooms were decent. The food was good as well. The resort was just a little too big for our taste. With it being so big, there's no personal touch, and you don't get to know the staff. We found lineups too long to wait for service at concierge. Also, little extra charges for the safe was unnecessary. It should be included in the all inclusive fee. That being said, the resort was nice, just not our style.

Right from registering at the lobby (William) to getting the best room available, to the dining experiences (Maria Alexandra, Maria, Santos, and the whole team in the dining buffet area), to the various bars (Rafael, Juan Carlos etc.), to the tram drivers, the guest services, we had nothing but praises and smiling experiences. This resort was absolutely amazing. The grounds were so well kept, workers were always on the go. Our room was beautiful and cleaned daily, mini bar restocked daily, clean towels everyday also. The food was great, we only went to 3 of the specialty restaurants and went to the buffet most meals, there was always a large selection and food was always hot. The beach is amazing, very large. Service was fantastic. My reason for not giving this resort a 5 star rating is for 2 reasons, 1) the property is huge, by the end of our week long stay we still weren't all that confident in how to get around, even the trolley system was a bit confusing. Our room was part of the Ambar II which was quite a ways from the beach and next to the quieter pool; 2) upon our arrival we were approached by someone in the lobby asking us to do a 1 hour tour of the property and they would give us a free gift. If we had of known what this would have entailed we would have never agreed to it. They don't give you a 1 hour tour, they take you to the Privilege Lounge and have someone try to sell you time shares. The salesman we were assigned was incredibly pushy and left me feeling not only angry, but leaving the building in tears. It was an awful experience and put a damper on my entire day. I would suggest that people are made aware of what they are getting themselves into when agreeing to do this as it was not made clear to my husband and I. All in all, the resort itself is immaculate and would highly recommend to those who prefer a large property. We enjoyed our vacation very much.

We visited April 16 to 23. If you want to laugh, relax, have a drink and meet great new friends, this resort may be for you. This without a doubt is the best vacation we have ever been on. Yes, the resort is clean and bright. The rooms are spotless and fresh. The pools are refreshing and clean. The food is excellent, especially the buffet. Miguel, my boy, is the sweetest, kindest young man and one helluva a dancer. To our girls, Esther, Kathryn, Rosi, Anyori and Carolin; thank you for for making us laugh, put up with my bad dancing and treating us like family. A special shout out to sweet Alba, Brenda and Mercedes in the buffet. We will miss you all! The one minus, was the last day. A large group from Newfoundland came in and getting service at the pool bar was near impossible. It may have more to do with the attitude of our Canadian cousins from the east. Some made it very clear they were taking over the resort. That's not the Canadian way. Dinner at the seafood restaurant was underwhelming. We had dinner with another couple and they kept mixing up our orders. We were never offered an after dinner drink, but all the tables around us were. We were only offered coffee when we got up to leave. That coupled with a 25 minute wait for the shuttle despite asking several times was disappointing. We will put these experiences down to training and supervision and not allow it to ruin all the wonderful experiences at this great resort. The new friendships we made were wonderful and we hope are lasting. We are looking forward to returning next year.

The food was excellent. The grounds, rooms were amazing and kept clean. Beach was beautiful and the pools were huge. You did have to go down early in the am to get chairs which I did not like too much. I have stayed at a few Bahia Principe hotels that were small and have always enjoyed the people who work there. I really did not get that opportunity here to meet many.

This was our 9th trip to this hotel. We are always pleased with service, beach and cleanliness. It is a little far from the airport, but worth the drive. We are already planning another trip in November. That says it all !!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Excellent Family Resort

The resort is beautiful and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our little children loved the pools, kids club and kids shows. The food was plentiful and tasty. We had no complaints, and will return. This is a great resort for families with younger children. The little water park was a hit all week, and the kids stayed up for the kids show at 8pm every evening and loved every minute of it.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: The El Portillo is a wonderful resort .

The grounds are extremely well manicured with a crew working diligently each day. Our room was cleaned each day with fresh towels and wash clothes., daily maid service was appreciated. The food in the buffet was well prepared and displayed with a flair. A hostess greeted us, found us a table and a waiter poured tea or coffee. The restaurants that required a reservation were a step up in the culinary world. Evening entertainment was quite appropriate for the guests who enjoyed a drink in the evening air. .We enjoyed our swims in the ocean but did not use the pool. The Doctor at the medical clinic tended professionally to our needs and even arranged for the taxi to transport us to the hospital in town. where we were taken care of very efficiently.
