Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Exemplifies Luxury

The Bahia group does an excellent job with all aspects of food, accommodations, entertainment, travel, etc. at this resort. This was my first visit and I will definitely be returning. It is perfect for a relaxing vacation but there are options to visit other areas of the resort for a livelier amosphere which we took advantage of. The best all-inclusive I have ever experienced out of the three Carribean destinations I have been (Mexico, Cuba, DR). Can't wait for my next trip!

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Great resort

Rooms were adequate (little far from main lobby about 5 min walk or get one of the shuttles) nice big main pool with several little ones around. Nice big beach with lots of open lounge chairs. Food was good and staff very friendly and helpful.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Fantastic Resort, Fantastic Time

First time for my sons and I visiting this resort and after what seemed like an incredibly long hockey season (and it was) we were all excited too get away. Once we arrived at the resort (and en-route) service was hands down top notch. Staff in all aspects were phenomenal. The resort itself (and accommodations) were spectacular... Whether you want a day at the ocean with lots of activities or just be around the pool there is plenty to do and see.... As far as the dining go's, there are lots of great restaurants on-site with plenty of selection ... Even for the finicky. All in all couldn't have had a better experience... Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Wonderful resort!

Clean clean clean!!! This resort is very well taken care of and the rooms, bedding, bathroom, towels were always clean. The king size was very comfortable. Pool was also very clean and water clear. The staff are amazing!!! Can't say enough about the staff!

the grounds were picture perfect the washrooms were very clean the hotel rooms were nice over all the resort was in excellent shape and well kept the only thing I can say that was bad they ran out of rum in the pool bar and beer

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Family Vacation

We just spent a week at Grand Bahia Principe Coba. There were 15 of us spanning 4 generations. Everyone, young and old, had a great time. We would recommend this resort for anyone of any age. We ranged from 2 to 87. The accommodations, staff, food, pools were great.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Excellent Week

My spouse and I spent April 4, 2016 to April 11, 2016 at this fabulous resort. We were pleasantly surprised with a refreshment just as our bus arrived at the resort and were in our room within 30 minutes of our arrival. What stood out to us was the cleanliness of the washrooms in the public areas. A special acknowledgement to the special woman that kept the lobby washrooms spotless and did so with a smile. If I would recommend one thing...the food at the buffet and pasta needs to be served hot.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: 7 Days of Awesome

From start to finish a terrific experience!! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Gorgeous view of the cove from our room. The coffee terrace overlooking the marina and town was a great spot to relax before dinner. Highly recommended!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: The vacations a whole was awesome!

The food was amazing (a lot of variety). I would definitely upgrade the rooms. The people were supurbe! Everyone was friendly and helpful The beaches were magnificent The pools were great Very family friendly

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Mediocre at Best

Upon check in toilet was not working in room - called front desk to send someone, waited 20 minutes and no one came. Called back and it sounded like they hadn't sent anybody in the first place. Waited another 30 minutes and no one came. Fixed it myself. Purchased a lock for the safe from the front desk, waited 15 minutes for shuttle back to room to find out that it would not insert into the safe properly. Called front desk to send someone to check out the problem. Finally he came within 10 minu [... read more]tes only to tell us that reception gave us the wrong key for the lock. Called back, asked them to send someone to bring a new lock and key as we had traveled back and forth many times already. They said we had to come back to pick a new one up. Traveled all the way back once again. Later that night we went out for a few hours and came back to a massive puddle in our front hallway, almost slipped and injured ourselves. Called front desk once again and they sent someone over after 30 minutes or so. A pipe was leaking in our ceiling apparently and it had flooded the front hallway. Purchased an hour of non consecutive use wifi from the gift shop through Kubi wireless for $8USD. I was very adamant about logging off completely after each use so as to not accidentally stay logged on and use up the wifi. I made a note of how much time I had left after the end of each session and when I logged back on hours later time had been deducted without my use. When I had about 10 minutes left it cut me off after about 7. Called Kubi from the front desk and he insisted I used the full hour and accused me of not logging off properly after each use. Waited on hold for a total of about 25 minutes. He recited off the blocks of time he claimed I used according to his records. The first time he said "I can see here 10, 10, 5, 5, 8." When I responded saying that did not add up to 60 minutes he cut me off and said "no here it says 20, 20, 20, 8." (Which, again, doesn't add up to 60 minutes haha). The reason I was so distressed by this was because I needed wifi to check my emails since I was organizing scuba diving training with a local instructor. Not as much the resorts fault but they chose to pair with this wireless service. I've used Boingo before which is much, much better. Spoken to their customer service reps for login problems and had no issues resolving it. Will not be coming back here. I've stayed in cheap, sketchy looking hostels for $7CAD a night and received much better customer service and had significantly less problems. Only thing that drove me to write this was the time wasted attempting to deal with these issues. I don't care about a broken toilet or safe but waiting around for hours to get it fixed after spending a couple hundred dollars a night for this resort is extremely frustrating. I also really did not feel as though the staff cared about our complaints; we felt very overlooked.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beautiful Resort!

We had a wonderful time. The resort was very well maintained , staff was very helpful and super friendly. The only negitve would be the rooms. They were clean but a bit outdated .This is a place we won't hesitate to come back to!!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful & Amazing

Staffs are very friendly, rooms are well kept and clean, grounds are beautiful and the scenery are amazing. The food are excellent with a variety. The bars are great with a variety of drinks. The beach is excellent and clean and bar on the beach was excellent. The night shows at the Theatre were wonderful. The total over all of this resort is truly beautiful and amazing. I would surly visit again.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: The times, they are a changing!

Ambar has grown! The reputation for R&R is lost in its expansion. Between cheesy thump-thump music and overly loud intoxicated adults at the pool, the beach is subjected to noise pollution no one wants, something that was never a problem during our past visits. The buffet continued to be okay, something for everyone to eat no matter how picky the eater. The wait-staff were more attentive in the upper section of seating than in other areas of the buffet. Our rooms were cleaned late every day, som [... read more]etimes close to supper hour, even when our preference was noted on a card for morning times. Wifi was iffy, but we used ours for contact in case of an emergency at home, so that wasn’t a big deal. The staff who are trying to sell time shares were still very pushy, especially because we’ve been there so often, they felt we should buy one to save money... trust me when I say there is no savings! Don’t get sucked in to that. We had to use the doctor on the resort for $185 just to have a quick visit and be referred to the hospital in the city. Another $30 for the taxi, one way. The hospital in Punta Cana was like a tourist centre as we get there to find everyone else there is also a tourist from another resort; we decided there might be a scam involved here especially when the doctors seemed very quick with a diagnosis and yet did a very poor examination. Make sure you have health insurance (we did) because they want that clarified before you are seen. It’s all about the money! I hate to say it, but we’ve likely had our last visit to this resort. It is not like it has been in the past, that ambiance and attention to detail is gone.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: IN A WORD....AWESOME!!!

This was our second trip to Punta Cana and we stayed both times at Grand Bahia. Everything was perfect, the resort, the service, the hospitality and of course the weather and surroundings. We will definitely be giving recommendations to anyone who wishes to have an amazing vacation! Thanks!

The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are extremely well kept, the food is very good. No bad comments on this resort. Staff very friendly and polite. Can't say anything negative on this resort. Would certainly go back.

the grounds are amazing - beautifully landscaped and maintained. staff are friendly and courteous and always there to serve you. The beach is clean and safe with minimal vendors bothering you. staff are always there to serve drink both at pool and beach. There could be more beach chairs and pool chairs if I was to find a fault.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Luxury side was amazing

Very clean, very attentive staff, and great food. Bahia did a great job of separating the Grand side from the Bahia side....making the guests feel like they were really on the luxury side. One suggestion that everyone said was to have perhaps the lobby bar open until midnight. The bars close too early at 10. Awesome resort!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Average family vacation

I found the resort clean it has everything you would want however for me it was too large and I didn't find the rooms very special. Food was decent but nothing special there was always something to eat! Beach was clean and nice you could walk in one direction for quite a way. It is a long journey from the airport do you have to be prepared for that.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: amazing resort

After many trips to different resorts we believe this is the best resort we've been to, our room was great and taken care of every day.We got a cabana chairs each morning at the beach with the drinks being served.the pool in the afternoon and pool bar was just fantastic.

April 10-17 - The resort was immaculate and the staff were very friendly and hard working. The food in the buffet and a la carte's was very good, lots of variety. It was nice to be able to visit the other resorts and was easy to do with the transportation provided. The Saturday night beach party (or should I say foam party) was a blast - lots to do on the beach if you are interested and no problem getting a chair.
