Melia Cayo Coco: Great value for money
Overall quite satisfied. The rooms were large and well maintained. No power , air conditioning or hot water issues. The food in the buffet was varied, plentiful and tasty. Assortment of salad and fruit available, as well chicken, beef , pork, and sometimes lamb, shrimp or calamari. Keeping in mind that you are not going to see steak and lobster at this price point. The a la cartes were good as well. The drinks were good. Good entertainment and excellent friendly service . Some minor shortag [... read more]
Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: The best we have seen of Cuba so far
Honest Review January 23 - January 30 2026 Location is great, in that you are 30 min ride from airport to the resort, but you are not near anything else. Closest city is Moron and it quite far away. Exploring anywhere off resort is not close. The resort itself is newer, not rundown, is clean and laid out nicely. The beach was beautiful. Very gradual slope into the ocean, perfect for young children to enjoy the ocean. We saw no jellyfish, and shells are easy to find and pick if you are [... read more]
Sanctuary White Sands: Amazing resort
The resort was awesome. Workers where very friendly. Beach was great of course, always loungers to sit. Food was plentiful. Didn't leave hungry. Rooms very clean. Rooms cleaned daily. Grounds were very well kept up.
Sanctuary White Sands: My Dream Vacation and so much more
I stayed at Sanctuary White Sands from January 22nd to 29th 2026 in a deluxe ocean-view junior suite. The accommodations were excellent, and I, originally from Winnipeg, Canada, was highly satisfied with the room amenities and staff service. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and courteous, unobtrusive attitude made for an excellent experience. Daily entertainment and dining options were adequate; though vegan and vegetarian choices were limited, they were high quality. My butler, Carlo [... read more]
Sanctuary White Sands: Pretty good!
Beautiful room, shower, balcony, and grounds. A toilet quirk to learn. Food was not amazing, except the fresh baked goods. I liked the pool and beach. Excursions were my highlights! Staff was very gracious except at bars.
Sanctuary White Sands: Very good
Overall the resort was great. Food became repetitive. The La Creole restaurant had great food. Hats off to the chef! If you like seafood they have plenty. Beautiful big pools with walk-in available at the one pool. Chairs at beach are better than those at the pool.
Sanctuary White Sands: Wonderful resort!
I love that every room had its own patio or balcony. The rooms were spacious and had all basic amenities such as fridge, iron, blow dryer. Large shower. The grounds were marvelous! Planting was going on daily. Large pool areas and short walk to the beach. Lots of both shade and sun at the beach. The entertainment staff were terrific, as were everyone. There were enough English speaking staff to manage questions and requests. Buffets had a good variety of food. Not spicy, at all.
Melia Cayo Coco: Beautiful resort
Could use a few improvements,, but overall one of the best resorts we have visited in Cuba over the last 40 years. The food was varied and plentiful. Entertainment was pretty good, definitely not a loud party place, which is what we were looking for on this trip.
Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great Resort, Great People
This resort was wonderful. The staff were great, the facilities were in good shape and pretty well maintained. Some of the boardwalks could use some work to make them a bit safer. There was always lots of food. The rooms were clean. The beach was amazing! The ocean was so clean. The evening entertainment was great, but not intended for kids. If you are looking for a great resort that gives to great value for your money, I would highly recommend this resort.
Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Viva Cuba
We loved the hotel, small and very quiet and quaint, with such an amazing and attentive staff. The beach is beautiful, you can walk for hours and see practically no one! Big shout out to Dairon at the Buffet and Armando who works the snack bar and the À la carte restaurant. We will be back!
Hotel Playa Coco: Sun, sand, fun and family
The rooms were quite comfortable. The food was good, the ala carte restaurants were great and service was very good. Loved the returning guests dinners, they were fantastic. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Hotel Playa Paraiso: Beautiful Beach
We just returned from Playa Paraiso Of course the Staff were amazing kind and curtious. The beaches are gorgeous lots of shells on the beach. The rooms are beginning to show thier age but we know Cuba is having a hard time . I am not going to complain this is our second time at Paraiso and we won't go back untill updated but thats ok we loved it there
Hotel Mojito: Definitely won't be going back
I knew going in that this was an older hotel, so my expectations weren't high to begin with. However, Mojito still managed to disappoint: -No hot water and no water pressure, and the toilet didn't flush completely. -Food shortages. On various days there were no eggs, no cheese, no butter at the buffet. -Unresponsive Guest Services rep. It took me three days to get a beach towel, which was supposed to be in my room upon arrival. And I was able to get it only because I happened to run into the [... read more]
Vila Gale Cayo Paredon: Cuba Jan 16-23 2026
Great trip to take off from Canada, the only issues we had was that our shoes and one of my hand made cigar cutters was stolen from the air port. Our door broke for our hotel, but other than that it was a good trip, we always book with trip central and I recommend it, the political situation of Cuba affected food but that is out of everyones hands and understanding. Thank you for giving us a chance to leave the country
Hotel Mojito: Amazing resort
My room was dated but very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a nice variety of food at the buffet, I really enjoyed the pasta bar and variety of seafood. There was pork and chicken options and lots of cooked veggies. Breakfast was delicious with the best sweet rolls I have ever tasted. The Mojito is my go to place in CUBA!
Hotel Playa Coco: Resort Review
Grounds were kept very clean. Lots for kids to do. Food was good…it’s Cuba however always found something to eat. We were in Block 5 we had no warm water the entire week. Rooms were clean. No-See-Ums were very bad needed bug spray and that didn’t help. Need to take Benadryl and stuff for after bite.
Melia Costa Rey: Amazing resort
This is a great resort. Very impressed. It’s super close to the airport. It’s a large resort but not crowded. Guests were families, couples, older, younger. Fun but nothing crazy. The beach is beautiful and big, lots of chairs, sun or shade available. We walked the beach everyday multiple times per day. The sand is perfect, the ocean water looks like a huge pool. We went in January and had perfect weather, the water was so great for swimming. I wish there were small feet faucets when you exit [... read more]
Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Nice resort
NO HOTWATER ALL WEEK !!...but the entertainment was good..staff very friendly....they just have to fix the hot water issue....food was ok...the beach is great !!!..pizza at the beach was awesome...they bars were good too..
Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful beach
Enjoyed our stay at Memories Caribe. Great beach beautiful grounds. Only issue was lack of hot water on some days. Route 66 sports bar was a great place to hang out and the access to the bus for the cave bar made the trip. No issues with shortages or bugs.
Hotel Playa Coco: Another amazing vacation
Although dated, this hotel provides all amenities from cheeseburgers, hot dog, pizza, full lunch menu, including rice, chicken, beef, pork and amazing deserts. Wine, beer, all types of alcohol always available. Clean rooms, great wide beach, and of course AMAZING staff. Can’t wait to go back
