Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Good family resort!

Pros: -clean and great service -buffet food was very good -lots to do for kids Cons: -night noise. rooms in tower 1 are subject to a lot of noise at night from people partying in the main floor bars and midway snack bar (open all night) as it has indoor atrium setupMgmt did nothing to correct the noise or sorting. -a la carte restaurants are near impossible to book. They have a telephone reservation system that you have to use the day of to book. Unless you want to spend your vacation  [... read more]on the phone, it’s hard to get through to book. We were able to book one à la carte and when we went, the restaurant was pretty empty. Thus making me believe they want to funnel everyone to the buffet instead (less overhead costs).

Crown Paradise Club: Decent resort

The grounds we well kept and clean. The rooms are slightly outdated, however housekeeping did a great job keeping them looking as best as they could. The buffet was ok. Unfortunately they would advertise theme nights that never materialized. The service was excellent, friendly and courteous. Beach and pools amazing. Overall this is a great place for family and a quieter more relaxing vacation

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Fun place!

Great hotel, amazing food and lots of kids activities! Service is very friendly! Great night shows especially Disney show! Beautiful pool overlooking the ocean, delicious drinks for kids too and fun waves! No restrictions due to Covid!

Crown Paradise Golden: great resort but

Crown Paradise Golden: Great Resort great stay!

Great Resort, staff friendly and helpful, Room was fabulous and clean. Good central location. The food was not great, Buffet was always acceptable with ample choices but the specialty restaurants needed attention, restaurant staff were good but the food needs to be improved with a more genuine effort for better attention to detail and preparation. The adult only theme was another enjoyable feature.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Truly horrible.

First of all, I have never written a review for a vacation before, but for this experience it needs to be done. We waited almost 3 years to take our honeymoon trip (COVID cancellations ). To start off, we weren't on the Westjet transfer list when we landed in Cancun, so had to pay $75.00 US to take a 7 minute cab ride. We waited in line for over an hour to check in to the hotel and were advised we had to book the restaurants by our hotel room telephone in the morning (each morning). We later [... read more] discovered that this process takes approximately 1 - 2 hours to get through to anyone to book said restaurant (then of course all the pool chairs are taken). The restaurants had about 5 tables per seating??!!! We were truly shocked when we got to our VERY dated and smelly hotel room (2 double beds lol). The bathroom was ridiculous (small tub with moldy edges, and the shower head was so low you had to duck to get your hair wet). Our ocean view room was mostly the view of the next door vacant lot with the rubble left from the last resort - very disappointing. As we arrived too late to book a restaurant, we went to the buffet, thinking that it would be fine and not that bad. How wrong we were... we hunted for something to eat, circling several times and ended up with a couple of dinner rolls and margarine (seriously) it was so bad lol and the nights we had to eat there - we didn't. Luckily, there is a Subway across the street. Breakfasts in the buffet were a series of long line ups to simply get in , then more line ups for horrible food (pizza with black beans and no sauce lol). Line-ups for overdone eggs and empty bins of bacon and rubberized pancakes, and french fries? (although the fruit was good). The booze is clearly doctored, asking for Smirnoff vodka and watching them pour it didn't matter, it still tastes like crappy tequila. To top it all off. someone came to our door with extermination equipment?!! We asked at the front desk for clarification and were advised it was standard procedure... ugh, so disheartening. Overall, this was the worst Mexico trip I have experienced (8 times in total). It was a horrible, expensive experience. I will not be returning to Cancun again nor would I recommend this resort to anyone - EVER

Crown Paradise Golden: Exceptional service!

We had a fantastic time! The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. A great adult only resort for the price. Close to the airport, stores and right on the beach. The beach could use umbrellas and a little more variety at the buffet, but overall a wonderful stay.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Amazing Resort

The resort was well maintained, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. The resort offered many extras which made our stay that much more enjoyable. We were with our children and grandchildren and the resort was extremely kid friendly

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: A very construction filled stay

The resort was well spread out and tidy. However the entire time we were at your resort the room directly above us and several others were under construction around us. Hammers grinders chisels every single day while my one year old tried to sleep. Water was dripping from the lights in our bathroom due to construction. As well as the room directly beside us had smokers in it. We complained twice and nothing was done. I'd give the resort a 3 out of 5 due to all these issues.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Excellent for families

After reading some of the reviews before our stay I was a bit nervous! But I was pleasantly surprised! We went with our 3 kids (9,6 and 4) they had the best time. Kids club was 10/10! We loved the A La Cartes. The actives at the main pool were fun during the day for the kids. We enjoyed the waterslides, beach, mini golf, games room, entertainment in the evening was great. I don’t really have any complaints.

Crown Paradise Club: Not for singles, or families with older children.

We would not return to this hotel. It is totally geared to families with young children, and you need to be prepared to wait for almost everything. They had our reservation mixed up, and it took hours and hours to check in and finally get our room. The staff although pleasant and trying to help, were in most cases unable to assist as their English was extremely limited. The bar tenders, and bell men spoke the best English of all, however they could only help with limited issues. Phone down  [... read more]to front desk or housekeeping was useless. The buffet food was adequate at best, and definitely repurposed day to day. The on-site restaurants, were also a disappointment. They pools, were nice, however the swim up bar was understandably in the adult pool, however it was in the "jacuzzi" part of the pool, and extremely HOT! If I had young children (3 to 12), I might consider returning for a few days, as the premises is geared towards the kids, and the kids pool area is fantastic.

Crown Paradise Golden: Excellent Resort

This is an excellent hotel. Very clean, Rooms are very nice, i had an ocean view room which was great. Food was Good. There breakfast buffet is good, i tried out several of there restaurants and no complaints about the food, my favorite was the French cuisine, and also El Salvador's. Very close to downtown Malecon, and 100 Mexican peso will take you there in 15 minutes. Very close to the marina you can walk there and lots of Restaurants there if you decide to eat out one evening. you c [... read more]an also see all the cruise ships coming and going from the resort beach. I have not travelled anywhere in over 3 years due to the pandemic, and i wasn't sure what to expect in Mexico or at the Hotel Resort. Everyone was being themselves No masks anywhere, There is sun beds on the beach with is a distance from One another, but again everyone was being themselves and it was like the pandemic was over, My suggestion is always wash your hands and sanitize no matter what. The hotel has nightly shows which are very good, i saw two shows during my 7 days, the Mexican show, and Broadway. I have stayed at this hotel several times and what brings me back to the same hotel is the service. all the staff is very friendly.

Crown Paradise Golden: Very nice resort

Check in was a breeze. Once checked in finding your way around was easy as it is a small resort. Our room was on the ground floor directly on the beach and was cleaned very well daily. Buffet was average for the most part. Restaurants were very good. Covid precautions were masks if in buffet or ordering food. A glove for serving yourself at the buffet. Service was great overall as they want you to touch as few things as possible. The beach is very good. A little rough on occasion but not too mu [... read more]ch. The best part of the resort was the Sky Pool bar. Beautiful views and great atmosphere. You can see whales from the beach and we witnessed sea turtles hatching one day as well. We went to the hospital across the street from the resort to do our PCR covid test and had the results promptly within 24 hours. Overall a very good experience.

Crown Paradise Golden: Great beach & Hotel

We really enjoyed the Crown Paradise Golden - this resort has 2 sides, one for families and an adult section - you have access to both areas. The family side looked like great fun for the kids and parents - the buffet was large and they took into consideration the appetites of kids as well there seemed to be a great selection for their parents also. The adult side was also very nice - clean, great service, friendly staff and really good food, the rooms had air conditioning and ceiling fans an [... read more]d were nice and cool. What we really enjoyed at this resort was the beach. Puerto Vallarta's beaches can be quite turbulent - however this hotel is right in the green zone - so quite safe and it was fabulous. When you first look at the pool area and the beach you will notice that a lot of chairs have been claimed by early risers who have put their towels on them but they don't use them till quite late in the day which is a bit disappointing, however when ever we went to the beach we never had a problem getting chairs. The only things that I could suggest for this hotel would be a coffee maker in the room and perhaps more lounge chairs for the pool and beach areas - or that they don't allow people to claim them for the day ( I have seen other resorts that do not allow holding chairs). Would I recommend this resort Yes definitely!

Crown Paradise Golden: Disappointing resort!

Public areas were not kept up. Chairs had holes and cushions were ripped and dirty. Staff did not want to interact with you and were rather unfriendly. Pool areas needed repair, our room phone didn’t work and our lock fell off the door.

Crown Paradise Golden: Great Resort

We have stayed at this resort multiple times and keep returning for the value, food and great weather. The a la carte restaurants are wonderful, but this time they were much more difficult to book. We had to line up at 3 the day before to book our favourite ones in the family resort. The French Restaurant was fabulous. The food and service were much more than you could expect from an all inclusive.

Crown Paradise Golden: Sorry they missed the mark

We stayed in the new tower (opened 6 maths ago). Great room. No chamber service day after arrival. General cleanliness of the resort was lacking. Staff overall were friendly and helpful. Buffet lacked variety and quality of food. Same fruit, same choices every day for breakfast. details...margarine instead of butter, Guacamole from a bag, packaged juices, poor cuts of meat, poor selection of veggies. A la carte restaurants had no ambience, lack of decor. Food was mediocre in quality and variety [... read more]. Japanese restaurant was best, Mexican worst. Reservation system was ridiculous and confusing as restaurants were dark certain days but information not posted. Dozens of couples turned away from 1/3 to half empty restaurants when they showed up w/o a reservation in the evening. General information about resort activities only posted at main pool. No daily sheet or room TV info. No idea what was going on the following day until posted manually on the board at 9 am day of!! Drinks inconsistent between bars. Sky bar 7 and pool were great. beautiful view. So much potential and easy fixes as this resort is well located and great social atmosphere.

Crown Paradise Club: Alot of things to do

The Hotel is nice. The food was good and there was a huge variety at the buffet. The lapalapa could use a good cleaning on the chairs. You can see whales from the shore and big cruise ships going by . We walked on the shore up to an area where there is crocodiles. The nightly show was great especially the guy with the hola hoop. The hot tub and bar was nice. Should have the bar open later though. We would go back again , next time we would take kids. It's not a real romantic resort.

Crown Paradise Golden: Great vacation

Great service and location. The resort is older but clean and well maintained for the most part. The staff are always working hard to ensure great customer service. The pools are a little too warm for my liking but the views from the rooftop pool is fabulous! The food was very good and the variety plentiful. If you can't find anything you like to eat here then perhaps you should not travel lol!! The Japanese, Mexican and mediteranian all had above average service and the food was great. We alwa [... read more]ys found something to our liking at the buffet, and when all else fails there's always the omelette station. We would suggest the resort could use more umbrellas and palapas, but many other guests have stated this. We always felt safe and walked off the resort a few times.Theres a mall close by with many stores. All in all a great family vacation with our adult children.

Crown Paradise Golden: Relaxing resort .

Nicely kept grounds, generous rooms, lovely beach front. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Pleasant dining areas and great view of the sunset. A la carte dining a little too air condtioned for my liking.
