Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Amazing Vacation

Hotel was great, upgraded to have access to secrets side for the pools and extra restaurant access. Service at the pools were great, be prepared to wake up early to get prime chairs! Otherwise great for the most part. Rooms are a little boring we had a penthouse and i expected more out of it, also had to requests rooms to be stocked they didnt do that daily which was frustrating.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Beautiful resort with food handling problems

The resort itself is very beautiful and clean. The pools were always clean and inviting. Our room was also very lovely. our problems begin with a severe sickness after eating at the Portofino restaurant. I had shrimp on my Caesar salad and it was very ill the next day.

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Great Vacation!

Our second time visting this resort and we enjoyed every minute. Was a quick shuttle bus ride from the airport to the resort. Check in was smooth but didn't love the time share people swarming us as soon as check in was complete. Resort grounds are beautiful and everything is close by so no long walks to the room, pool or to food. Beach had lots of seaweed but that's just part of mother nature; the staff we working at cleaning it up most of the day with raking and a tractor. Gluten free options were label on the restaurant menus and staff made other suggestions/accomadations as requested. Wish they had more loungers around the pool and beach; if you weren't an early riser, you were stuggling to get a group of chairs together

Dreams Cap Cana Resort and Spa: Mediocre for a five star

Excellent service but the food and entertainment was 3 star tops. No hot water in the first room, second room had a water leak that caused me to slip and fall. Not happy with the lack of concern on the managements part afterwards. Won’t return.

Dreams Natura Resort and Spa: It's a wonderful resort.

The grounds were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and professional. They genuinely seemed to be friendly and like their jobs. The restaurants were excellent. The buffet was a bit smaller then I thought it would be after being at other resorts. However the food at the buffet was very good. The rooms were very clean and nice.

This hotel was very clean. It had excellent food and all the amenities are close by. The people were amazing. Our cleaning lady (Ruddy) kept our room very clean and made sure we had everything we needed. Luis at the front desk was very helpful. The pool bar bartenders and the entertainment group were excellent. There was plenty of entertainment for all ages. The ala carte restaurants are very good. Overall it was a great vacation and I would recommend the hotel to others.

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Small beach but calm water with lots of fish for snorkelling.

This is not a 5 star resort, more of a 4 star, there are not a lot of amenities or activities, there were some. No watersports, and no room for it really. Having said that we had read the reviews and knew what it would be like going in so we were not disappointed and we had a great vacation at this property. The beach is small, less than 75 feet wide and only around 100 loungers. But the water was beautiful and always calm. There were tons of fish both close in and further out. The food wa [... read more]s ok, the buffet was small but always had something good to eat, the restaurants were ok as well. There were a few delicious dishes, the pumpkin soup and the crispy pork dish at the Oceana restaurant were great. The beach/pool grill wasn't great. Drinks were great with lots of variety. Service tended to be slow at bars and restaurants, but we were on vacation and weren't ever in a rush. The hotel is older and shows it but the housekeeping and maintenance staff were always busy keeping things up. Our room 535 was huge and had a sofa and a pair of chairs as well, not all rooms were as big it was a preferred club perk. The view and setting of the hotel was beautiful There is a part of an old fort beside the beach and tour groups came in to see it most mornings. Air Canada Rouge was not good, no space and very uncomfortable seats. I would never fly it ever again.

Dreams Cap Cana Resort and Spa: So fun — will definitely be back!

We travelled as two couples and all of us had such a good time. The vibe was perfect, it was easy to relax, but also really fun when you wanted it to be. We spent most of our time at the pool and there was always something going on. We’re usually not the type to jump into games or activities, but the entertainment team completely changed that. The nightly shows were also really good and something we looked forward to. Loved having the 24hr café and room service (menu is more limited late at night but still solid options). The disco above the Coral Keg was a fun bonus too. Food overall was good and staff were great. There are 5 restaurants to choose from, no reservations, so there can be a wait, but there’s also a buffet if you don’t feel like waiting. The location in Cap Cana is beautiful, it’s a gated area with stunning landscaping. The beach directly in front of the resort isn’t very swimmable, but there’s amazing swimmable water less than a 5-minute walk down the beach. Only small issues: our keycards did deactivate a few times (quick fix at the lobby), and the concierge wasn’t super helpful when we asked about going outside the gated area. We were able to figure it out ourselves pretty easily though, so it didn’t affect our trip. We even saw a few beautiful weddings while we were there and are already thinking about coming back to get married ourselves after such a great experience.

Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana: Family fun in the sun!

We had an amazing family vacation! The resort includes so many amenities and luxuries to make vacationing easy and enjoyable. Great rooms, delicious food, gorgeous beach! Staff are incredible and attentive.

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Not a 5 star

Liked the layout, the grounds, food was good, staff was excellent, helpful. Liked the location. We did not appreciate the accommodation , run down, in need of renovation. During our time there , they fumigated the rooms. We suspect they have bedbugs, based on the bites we noticed. Not great value for the price, as we could have gone elsewhere for less.

Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana: Fantastic Resort

The hotel and grounds is very well kept and there are folks always cleaning. The beach is beautiful, great for walking the water is clear with a sand bottom, and no seaweed. The waves are fun to jump and you can even try surfing if your up to it! The entertainment stuff are great they make you feel very welcome. Victor& Kenny so much fun! The rooms are very nice, The French restaurant and Sea Side Grill were both amazing Great Food! Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Amazing, above and beyond!

Everything is amazing, including all the staff who are always willing to help. The buffet was also great with tons of options. The entertainment team Veronica, Sharina and others are superhumans! They work really hard to arrange activities throughout the day and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The Waterpark was a surprise for me so I made the most of it! One of my most luxurious vacations for sure

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Great resort, wonderful experience.

The hotel was great and met and/or exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was excellent. Lots of variety and very good quality. Loved the evening entertainment options. The rooms were very spacious and always clean. The beach was not as expansive as we would have liked but the water was wonderful. Dreams Riviera Cancun: Wedding Factory

The Dreams resort has amazing restaurants, probably the best we've ever experienced. The room was clean and well kept and having our own personal plunge pool on our deck was amazing. The beach was really good but unfortunately was over whelmed with sea grass, making it virtually unswimable. It did not have enough chairs and umbrellas on the beach at all, so mildly frustrating. What was truly annoying and disturbing, was being sidelined almost every single day because of weddings. Being pushed aw [... read more]ay from your pool lounge chair, so the crews could set up a wedding. Listening to workers push cart after cart after cart of tables, chairs and stuff for weddings. Having to squeeze onto crowded and limited pool space.... because of another wedding. Trying to find a quiet spot to relax was almost impossible because of all the wedding stuff. In my opinion, the resort marginalized regular resort goers to profit from all these weddings. The resort does not have enough physical space to allow for so many weddings and still have regular guests. I would not recommend this resort for that reason alone.

Dreams La Romana: Dreams la romana 2 adults 2 kids Mar 2026

We just returned from Dreams La Romana resort and spa (preferred) as a family of 4 with 2 young kids. Positives -nice updated rooms with good storage -public bathrooms were often cleaned -maids did an excellent job tidying/cleaning everyday -easy to get into all the restaurants. We ate at all the sit downs and the buffet and had no food poisoning. -Perferred pool had enough shaded seating but wasn’t plentiful. You could get some chairs by 9am. -beach was beautiful like everyone said -e [... read more]verything was very clean, service was great Negatives Biggest negative for me was the lack of liveliness in the lobby area-entertainment was not connected to the lobby, it was in an open field. Uncovered, so it rained out a few times. No tables. Folding chairs. Dark. Tree roots everywhere so my kids fell a bunch. -Coastal-the Perferred breakfast had huge timing issues. One morning we waited nearly 2 hours for breakfast. 25 mins for someone to bring coffee/water. Another 20 to take our order. Another 50 mins to bring the food (2 fried eggs and smoked salmon , and Dominican breakfast - which were cold when arrived). Then our kids cereal took another 15 mins to come. This was a common occurrence everyday. I would have rather gone to the buffet but my husband wanted to utilize the preferred spaces. -chairs at preferred beach were “reserved-ie towels/items” by 8am. Seating was limited here. Chairs/shade in the regular area seemed short was well. -splash area was totally separate from the rest of the resort. No drink service there. -found a few cockroaches in our room, one of which followed us home in our suitcase, yuck. Honestly an overall great experience but would not come back here. Felt they accepted children but wasn’t as kid centered like the last resort we went to in Nov (iberostar selection suites in Punta cana). Iberostar had its issues but it was cheaper and I loved their covered outdoor entertainment space and their walk up icecream bar. My takeaway is that Dreams is beautiful and classy but best for older kids but that’s just my take having experienced a different type of resort last time which was our first time venturing away from Dreams chain.

We had a wonderful week. The place Never seems crowded, no line to wait for at restaurants Pools were alittle cool but refreshing. All food was awesome. Staff was amazing too I rate this resort an 9 out of 10

Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

This resort was beautiful. The grounds were like a tropical garden. Pools were clean, fun, and although sometimes difficult to get loungers, there was always the beach. It is an easy resort to walk with everything in close proximity to our room. The room was nice, however, we had to ask at times to have the room cleaned and leave notes for items that needed to be replenished such as towels, toilet paper, body wash and shampoo. Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: Awesome Family Experience

This hotel offered everything we could have asked for - a beautiful beach and pool amidst meticulously landscaped property. Dining offered many options. Customer service was exemplary. Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Unfortunately first and last visit

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. Well maintained and clean. The rooms in the 7000 block are modern and well kept and staff friendly, courteous and helpful. We were greeted warmly upon arrival with a smile and cold drink which helped to temper our disappointment that not only were we unable to be in adjoining rooms from our daughter and her family, neither were we even close to one another. Each person in our family was sick from some form of food item over the 7 days there. Our 3 year old granddaughter needing to see the doctor on site who was excellent. Thankfully she was feeling better before we had to fly home and the rest of us too. Been to DR 5 times and never been ill until here. We were amazed how quick the concierge and security came to the clinic when they found 3 of our family were ill. We loved the idea of no reservations at the restaurants and had no issues getting a table for 6 while we were all still okay, then we had to solely rely on buffet which we found underwhelming. Repetition of same foods each night. Found hygiene an issue with one set of tongs for several food items in one section of the buffet. The pools are lovely, clean fun. The best resort ever to find loungers by pool or shade at the beach. Beach is clean and palm trees make great shade to get out of the sun. Lots of entertainment for everyone. Great family atmosphere. Would I go back? Sadly no.
