Ocean Blue and Sand: Great place! Would definitely go again!

We really enjoyed our stay! Friendly service, clean rooms n facilities throughout resort. Had everything we wanted and needed and more. Really great size with lots of room but you don’t get lost and always a trolley if u prefer to get a ride! Highly recommend!

Ocean El Faro: It's okay

There are people at the beginning stating their your concierge for the week, but they just try to get you to a time share and you never see them again. They book 1 restaurant, give you a coupon for 20min massage and a little bottle of alcohol so you go to this weird time share at the tower. That was not enjoyable and the pressure is a lot. We were not booked side by side rooms although requested. The resort is about 1 hour away from airport. The rooms smell a bit mouldy. The tiles are nice. I  [... read more]like the reusable cups at pools and beach, plus the waiter services. Lazy river was the best feature. The little splash pool for kids was fun. The weird pool dance off was too sexual and felt more like a strip club. The buffet had a lot of options but we got sick. Hit or miss with taste. Same with the private restaurants. The steakhouse didn't work on app. The cafe was nice, same with the burger shack. The beach is rocky, but i like wild beaches. No point in bringing snorkel gear. Good sunrises.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: A good option for a stay in Punta Cana

Some suggestions. Avoid the "orientation" or "tour" at all costs to become a "Privileged" guest...huge marketing push. Restaurants are nice - reserved ones no nicer and hard to book after 8 a.m. when you can start to book, buffet has something for everyone - even fussy eaters - items well marked. Adult only side lovely but the issue of getting a lounger - ugh - no better or no worse than other resorts. The resort could do a better job of monitoring who is using the Adult Only side...regularly sa [... read more]w people with bracelets for the El Faro side on the adult only side (which then takes away from those who booked and paid to use it). On the El Faro side (family resort side) lots to do for families. An hour from the airport...beach is always on red flag, not a walkers beach area. They are always walking around the pool trying to sell excursions and spas...but if you don't engage with them they keep walking. There are no other resorts in this area and it is not close to a town if this is something you wish to do. For those with mobility issues there are a few touches... they have a tram (train) going through the resort all the time, on the El Beso side the buildings are 3 stories and do have an elevator - some ramps but I wouldn't call it fully accessible but a good effort.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Wonderful

My trip. Beginning to end. Was flawless. The resort, fun engaging and ao so much to explore. The food 10 / 10 My room. The air conditioning cold. Showers hot+! Fridge stocked and room tidied daily. I left a tip in the fridge and for the maid on the dresser with a note. Service was excellent ? Especially around hosting families and kids♡ The gardens are beautiful! Everything so beautifully kept. The workers cleared it day in and day out. Highly recommend this resort!

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Ways to go until its five star

My best friend and I just got back from this resort and its definitely not five stars. The five stars are coming from people reviewing certain employees like a bartender or a pool server or a waiter definitely not from the resort itself. When we first arrived we were excited and decided to upgrade to a swimup room then later that night we realized we payed almost three times what it would of been if we had done it online. We just wanted what we payed for but he offered us no compensation whatsoever. I told him we would warn everybody we met there and were going to rate them a one star he said yes thats fine. That was a really crappy way to start our vacation feeling we got ripped off. We went to the buffet three times had to wait extremely long for someone to pour us water and take our drink order. The food was totally a hit and a miss the Mexican restaurant was good and we liked the hibachi one. It took us about three or four days in to find anyone who was able to switch or large Mexican pesos for smaller denominations so it made it hard to tip. There were some employees who made our trip somewhat enjoyable and that was our pool server Betina and two restaurant servers Carlos and Reuben and biggest shout out to Christopher our concierge who went out of his way to help us out when needed. Would we go back to an h10 resort by the way we were treated by the front desk manager I highly doubt it.

This resort is great for families. Party of 9. Great service all around. Buffet was awesome. Al a cartes could be much better. Ocean burger great for a quick lunch. Drinks were good and a great selection. Mike’s coffee is great but, be prepared to wait and service is slow. There is soft serve ice cream at ocean burger. There is a trolley which comes around all day which is great as the resort is big and beneficial for those who can not walk long distances. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had no issues. Oceans is beautiful but red flag everyday except one. We still enjoyed it. There are many rocks. Lagoon was nice and calm as there were a few people who can not swim and went into the lagoon and enjoyed it as they felt safe. Bowling alley and family lounge was great. The kids really enjoyed them. Nightly entertainment hit and miss. Some nights were good and others not so good. The kids night shows are on too late for them to enjoy. Transfer to a from the airport no issues. Services at airport was quick. Resort over all could use some repairs just like other resorts. Not enough to complain about as we had no issues. Ocean Coral Spring: Great Resort!

Loved the resort! The food was amazing and had a good assortment! The pool was amazing and staff were great! Not enough entertainment at night! The beach not so much ! It was rocky which we knew ahead of time ! Had a great holiday!

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Oceans coral and turquesa

This is a lovely resort. We upgraded to the privilege and the food was outstanding. We loved our accommodations which were so quiet. We have now been here 4x and recommend it. The only downside was there was not much effort to clear the sargassum therefore it was over two feet high and fermenting.

I've had the pleasure of many adventures at all inclusive resorts and this one measures up nicely. The food, the staff, the grounds were very enjoyable. The rooms were mediocre but I wasn't spending much time in it. Big beautiful beaches. ?

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Lovely Family Resort

My family of seven had a lovely week at Ocean Riviera Paradise. Would definitely consider a fourth stay here. Good food and excellent service! I found the kids pool was very busy but the other pools were more quiet.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Disappointing!

The food situation is extremely frustrating. You are not allowed to take food out anywhere. You can only get a few fried items on the takeout menu. We were there with the baby and it was extremely difficult to eat when we wanted to. We had to constantly eat the same thing because babies aren’t always able to go into restaurants. Very frustrating!

Ocean Blue and Sand: The best all round resort we have been to

For our interests, this has been the best resort we have been to. Excellent beach for walking and swimming. Lots of additional activities both free and paid. Para sailing, banana tube,sea doo tube. Many excursions, water and land. Love the resort layout, and building architecture. Great for kids as well.

The resort is beautiful!!! It has 10 3-store buildings. We had a pool view room on the third floor. The room is very comfortable and clean with the balcony. There are 2 nice pools - you have to occupy the lounger there early in the morning. The same on the beach - the beach area is small for this large resort. The longers under umbrella on the beach are limited and are very closed to each other. The ocean is beautiful!!! It was a bit wavy during our stay but it's so beatiful. The food/bars are v [... read more]ery good. There are transfer cars driving you around the resort - very convinient if you are tired and do not want to walk. However, the walking around is also very good - everything is not too far. We liked the coffe shop there - amazing cappuchino. There is flamingo Pinky lives there on the green area -it was amazing to see her every day sleeping or awake. We had to leave at 4 in the morning - a day before that I have asked in the Guest service if they can provide the car to get to the lobby and they did. Overall the service is great!!! Ocean Coral Spring: Good choice

Over all I was happy with the choice of this resort. The al le cart restaurants were all really good but they booked up really fast. The market buffet had alot of variety but it was the same food every day. It would had been nice if they changed it up. The rooms were clean. The pools were nice. The entertainment was fine.

From the moment we arrived in the vast and luxurious lobby, to the moment we left, the service at Ocean Coral and Turquesa was top notch. We had a great experience at checkin while being offered drinks from the bar (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), the valet showed us to our room and carried our bags. Since we arrived late we were exhausted, after appreciating our extremely clean room, we fell into a very comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The next morning all was bright and sunny and already ab [... read more]out 28 degrees. All ready for the pool we had breakfast and proceeded to the Pool. We are typically beach people, however the sargassum sure was making certain that was not possible. However that was to no fault of the hotel, so we became pool people! And we are so happy we did! This hotel pays attention to everything! Staff would see you in a hallway and ask if all was well, could they do anything. Like, just because. Throw in the number of restaurants and bars, amenities, activities and you never have to leave the resort. But you will want to with all of the excursions available! All in all, I would give this resort a thumbs up, 5-Stars, and a high recommendation.

I just returned from a 2 week vacation at Ocean El Faro El Beso resort in Punta Cana. The resort was absolutely fantastic! There was so much selection for meals and everyone was great! A coffee shop with sandwiches and fresh baked goods, smoothies, fruit drinks. An adults only restaurant at the beach with buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner. Multiple swimming pools, a lazy river with a bar in the middle! Kids mini Waterpark. Great shows. Beautiful piano bar open for quiet moments open every evening. I can't wait to go back!! El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Great spot for a sister trip!

We chose this resort because it fit our budget for a 4-night getaway and we were impressed by the aesthetics captured in photos, as well as the adult-only option. We arrived at the resort for check-in just before midnight, and although we were assigned a room with 1 king bed, Luis working the front desk at the time, was able to give us a room with 2 queen beds instead, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the mini fridge was empty upon our arrival (likely because we weren't supposed to have th [... read more]e room) and it took a while for us to receive water any time we called the desk for refill, but aside from that, we were happy with the room itself. There was a bit of wear and tear, but it didn't bother us. The AC unit in the room is fairly loud but for anyone who doesn't mind a little white noise, it's fine. Because it's a smaller resort, you have to be up and out early to grab beach chairs and bali beds by the pool, or anything with an umbrella. There is a section of beach that has soft sand, great for swimming, but it's quite rocky elsewhere. It's a public beach so there are vendors milling about that can be bothersome (but out of the resort's control). The process for making reservations at the a la carte restaurants was a bit stressful, as the booking feature within their app opens every day at 8am for the same day - you cannot make reservations in advance. I had to be ready to press "reserve" right as the clock struck 8am, and that may be an issue for those that like to sleep in. We enjoyed Pez Dama for dinner the most, but our servers - Olga at Dolce Vita and Leonel at the Steakhouse - were awesome. We mainly stuck to Aperol Spritz and mamajuana shots during the trip and appreciated the wonderful service from Franklin and the lovely lady with the light eyes (I forgot to write down her name!) at the adults-only pool, and Elizabeth at the main lobby bar. When we were making arrangements to leave the resort for our flight home, which was very early in the morning, Francisco at the main lobby front desk was so kind and helpful. My sister and I wanted somewhere we could hang out, veg, swim, tan, nap, eat and basically do nothing else - El Beso at Ocean El Faro delivered!

Lots of good things but also a few problems...including a severe shortage of loungers at the beach and the pool. Lots of space to add more so not sure why the space is not being utilized. The lack of loungers really brought out the worst in people. Changed the vibe of vacation. For this reason I would probably not recommend El Beso. Other issues; next to impossible to book a reservation at al a carte restaurant unless you have Privilege package. Tried on the app everyday at 8am and only 53 [... read more]0 or 930 available. Plus no where at El Beso to get a good coffee first thing in the morning! Lobby bar doesn't serve until 830. Mikes too far and the lineup is INSANE. Otherwise layout is great. Easy to walk most places. Resort clean. Staff friendly. Beach bar is lovely. Beach rocky but lagoon is steps away and excellent for swimming. Warm and water is calm. Ground floor rooms are quite nice with walkout to pool.

Room needs lot of work, doors need repaired, fresh painting. Grounds are not kept up. The pools need repaired tiles coming off. Restaurant need better cooks . Maids need to clean a little better. Upper management a little more friendly to guests. When something happens at resort they should do something about it. Air conditioner went and water leaked all over our clothes and they did wash them but we waited 1 1/2 to get them to come and get them. Ocean El Faro: Great resort

This hotel was great. Grounds are beautiful and clean. Stall was friendly. Great service around the pool. Unfortunately we couldn’t book a reservation for à la cartes the whole week we were there. Need to come up with a different plan for reservations. Our Air Canada rep was not very helpful and actually rude.
