Catalonia Montego Bay: A great Vacation

We spent 10 days at this resort. The rooms were clean, although slightly out dated. The food was excellent, a very good choice with some catering to gluten and lactose free. The specialty restaurants did not disappoint! A special mention to Jodi at the front desk, who went above and beyond for us, and to Dave the night manager who made a big impression on us, never faltering in is quiet, kget things done attitude. He is awesome!

The hotel beach, grounds and location are great. We are returning customers from 2019. The hotel made many COVID precautions. They strictly enforced the masking rules for the buffet. The food was fantastic as always. The desserts could have been helped with ice cream as an option. A sample of more local fruit would be nice. Guinep, Advocado, Nasberry, Jackfruit, Sweet and Sour sop, Plums, Breadfruit, mango etc. Some of these trees are on the grounds. Mwah. Fantastic buffet meals by the kitchen staff. Nice mix of Jamaican and traditional meals with something for everyone. The hotel could do better on chaos control during check in time. Transportation was also an issue. Guests should be aware that the typical concierge location is manned by 3rd party taxis. Not that you may not need them but the distinction should be more clear. They do not work for the hotel. Some signs posted would help. Like the entire world..staff turn over, supply and training issues are impacting things, but as long as you take that in consideration the staff are really doing their best. Shout out to the Barefoot bar and the fish, burger and chips tuck on the other side. Those people are going non stop for 7 hours. Great job your hard work was noticed. Shout out to Davina at the bar. There is something about this hotel that makes it very special. The majority of the people that come to stay are relaxed and that rubs off. I feel comfortable to be myself. I recommend it. I will be back. I miss it already.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Beautiful Resort

The grounds are well kept, Public area were kept cleaned and Covid 19 protocols were kept in Public and Dining areas. The Rooms were dated but clean. Rooms are to be cleaned every second day however they missed one day of cleaning in our room. We stayed in Bldg. 1 it was closed to everything but a little loud at night with the entertainment. There was times they ran out of plates and glasses. This has been our 4th time at this Resort over the past 14 years and we will be back.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Not what was expected

Not what was expected based on photos. Check-in process was unorganized and room was not ready. Not much variety at the buffet and ran out of food fast when more guests arrived at the resort. Other food places also ran out of food items - no nachos, or veggie burgers. Staff were not as happy and friendly as we had experienced at other resorts in Montego Bay. Not the greatest resort experience we have had in Montego Bay.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Feels like home

We were feeling a bit anxious to be honest, travelling for the first time since Covid 19. That being said, we had a fabulous time! The airports and airline were masks on. But once at this beautiful resort, the only requirement was masking at the buffet while selecting food. ALL the staff were masked, through the entire resort. Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing Resort

I was wonderful, warm atmosphere, loved it. We experienced great service with very professional staff. The meals were excellent and great dining area. Te daily evening entertainment was wonderful and entertaining. The open food venue until late evening was great. Your staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and the grounds. The locate with the Ocean so close is 10/10. This was an Amazing, wonderful week, I would like to visit again in less than 6 months.

Holiday Inn Express Lake Buena Vista East: It did the trick!

It's a older property needing so up keep. The lobby and pool area very cleaning. The day when we were leaving new pool chairs and loungers arrived. The staff was very helpful and freindly. The rooms, the beds were very comfortable. The room itself was shown some wear and tear.

Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista: Nice pool

We had a busy week in Florida or no we weren't in the room very much except to sleep. The room was not made up daily you had to geto give them 24 hours notice if you wanted your room cleaned. My spouse went for the applebee's breakfast and said it was terrible. We did go to the pool and had a nice afternoon in the pool and hot tub. The pool area in hot tub were nice and clean. It was close and convenient to all the local parks. The room was clean but the hotel itself is very dated and these are renovation. Hallways and common areas needed a good cleaning.

Holiday Inn Ixtapa: The resort it's self was great

The Holiday Inn resorts was very nice..clean..Great staff.. Our room was pool/ ocean view,we loved it.. Our first week was great. Half capacity due to covid.. Same protocols as Canada.. Masks..social distancing..hand sanitizer everywhere..which we did our part.. Down side of resort.. Alit of locals arrived (no not prejudice) no social distancing.. no masks( not all but alot) other then restaurants and buffet.. Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Great Resort

Room was clean, gardens spotlessly maintained. Enjoyed the pool areas, they were never over crowded and no line up at pool bars. The food was good, but not a great selection and variety. Only one buffet and one a' la carte. Food was a lot better at the a' la carte. No sea swimming. We got a good deal and would return if we got another good deal. Would not pay a high price for this all inclusive.

Holiday Inn Ixtapa: Very Good Resort

The hotel was great . We stayed in the older part of this resort 3rd floor ocean view .We had a Great time there .the rooms were very clean and the resort was well maintained by grounds people and resort staff . Food was ok as there was always something on the buffet that we enjoyed .for breakfast lunch or dinner .hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the bartenders and waiters could not be nicer we felt like part of their family b y the way they treated us .We have nothing but  [... read more]respect for them. We didn't get to see any shows because we went bar hoping across the road and met so many people doing the same we also ate there a couple of times .The ocean was very rough but you use your common sense .and only go in when it is safe so we spent time around pool and ocean .We did the bike ride for 2 hours very cheap and nice ride along the trails. Over all we had a really GREAT VACTION. .SO in closing I say JOB WELL DONE HOLIDAY INN RESORT .WE WILL BE BACK TO ENJOY THE HEAT AND SUNSETS AGAIN

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Great resort

It was very clean, beautiful grounds, room was awesome. Maid service was fantastic front desk amazing people very helpful. the only thing I would suggest is maybe more selection at the buffet and a the alacart sugn up was a little ridiculous. But all in all good resort .

this was our third time to this resort, food is always good. hotel is well kept and clean. beach is great. Holiday Inn Huatulco: Loved this resort!!

The hotel was clean, staff were great.....friendly and helpful! The location was great....close to everything. My only suggestion would be to expand the pool area....not really enough lounge chairs. The menu for the all inclusive could be enhanced as well.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Holiday inn resort

Very windy thought bar frig came stocked Not , plays the same music over and over food not the greatest elevator broke down the day we arrived entertainment very good except for the wind should look into some kind of walls the could put up when its windy

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Disappointed

The food selection was very poor. The one pool was very dirty There really was no WOW at the resort at all. There was only one restaurant which was at the beach for dinner a la carte which was very cold and windy all the time. The selection for dinner was very poor The food at the buffet a lot of it tasted like dish soap as if the pans had not been rinsed. The front counter staff could not answer any questions of where/what to do in town

Holiday Inn Ixtapa: resort was nice

the rooms and grounds were very good service was good. drinks were very poor and food below average very nice location short walk to sport bars and decent food. can not believe that they could not make a margarita.

Holiday Inn Huatulco: Great place to stay

All Staff very warm and welcoming. Rooms very clean. FYI.....most rooms do not have a refrigerator, Service is great! Wifi was very good. Centrally located, its in walking distance to centre of town. Marina is close by, as well as a beach, small craft market, pharmacy, are 5 minutes away. There are some good restaurants nearby if looking for a change. The hotel is generally quiet, a good place for R&R. Food is good, even though there have been some menu reductions. The bar only offers do [... read more]mestic alcohol so if your looking for a particular kind of whiskey or Gin get it from duty free as it may not be found.

Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista: Great family hotel

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn resort Lake Buena Vista. Proximity to Disney parks was very reasonable (within 15 min) and very close (about 5 min ) to the outlets. Highways about a minute away Many restaurants within walking distance. Lots of activities planned for kids and families throughout the day, on the property. Nice size pool with many lounge chairs- though we didnt have time to use it. Well maintained arcade, little movie theater with kids movies, gift shop/convenience store. Catalonia Montego Bay: Wonderful Resort !

this was our first experience to Holiday Inn resort Montego Bay Jamaica and it wont be our last - it was super convenient to be so close to the resort maybe 15 minutes in the shuttle i honestly cant say enough about the staff they were lovely to deal with very accommodating ! rooms are clean and typical of an all inclusive "star" rating resort WAS absolutely wonderful and was very accommodating to families and "adult only" areas so we could have some quiet times... buffet and restaurants had [... read more] great choices for everyone and the grills were in my opinion perfect alternate for food. drinks were plenty rum punch yum yum Creme Rum was delsih!! my personal love was the snorkeling at this resort and the jerk after dark and going into Montego Bay with Ward a personal driver you can get from the resort for $ fee and very reasonable! we were very close to many excursions off site if you choose to wander off resort we golfed at both Cinnamon Hill and White Witch it was a beautiful experience. the only bad experience we had was for a few hours we had no water but they quickly took care of that and it was funny because we heard one of the workers say in Jamaica we have no problems only situations mon...LOL so that made the SITUATION even funnier and bearable . all in all it was a lovely experince and we would venture again to Jamaica mon! missing redstripe and jerk chicken already !
