Clearwater Beach Marriott: Very nice

The photo is not of the hotel I stayed at. I was at Marriott Suites-Sand Key. Suite was very nice, overlooking pool area. Housekeeping staff were excellent, very friendly, couldn't do enough for me. The grounds & pool area were immaculate. Restaurant a bit pricey, pool food had a surcharge tacked on. Very good location, an easy drive from airport. Hotel under going some renovations, nothing really to disrupt my holiday. Sunrises spectacular!!! My suite was newly renovated, had a great  [... read more]glass shower.

Marriott Biscayne Bay: Not good

we booked a package that included a car and the insurance and hotel parking was extra and that was not included in our budget. the hotel looked nice but the room was not ready when we arrived and we did not have TV and internet in our room. we were moved to another room. there was also an incident that we ordered room service and there was a seven eleven pizza box for twenty five dollars. we complained because we got sick from the pizza and overall it was not a relaxing stay.

Residence Inn Marriott Palm Desert: Nice resort except for the noise

This would be a nice place to spend some time around the pool or sitting on the deck if it wasn't for the fact that they were trimming and cutting down trees on the property and then chipping them all week. Usually a resort will advise in advance if there is construction and there will be noise that could inconvenience guests. The chainsaws and the tree chipper I am sure would have created more noise and it went all day for the entire week we were there. Residence Inn Marriott Palm Desert: Great location!

We selected this hotel since it was one of a few with a kitchenette. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious studio rooms with a balcony for our morning coffee and afternoon cocktail hour. Breakfast was a nice bonus as well as a hospitality night Monday to Wednesday. The pool area was a little small and was a little noisy on the weekend however we spent most of our time exploring the great hiking trails and golf courses which were only a short drive from the hotel. Curacao Marriott Beach Resort: Nice hotel

We did like the hotel, the gardens were well kept, the property was tidy and the overall place was clean. Sure the rooms are tired but the bed was comfortable and clean. Realistically you're not in your room for a long time your there to enjoy the weather and beach. However we had seen some negative reviews on the dining at this Marriot but we decided to go ahead with our trip as planned. We really should have paid closer attention to those reviews. The breakfast buffet was good and Cerita and Gechi made us feel welcome every time we went for breakfast. They get a big thumbs up from us. Chris at the Emerald Lounge also was great to talk to and was helpful with our various questions about the island. Monique our server at the Palm Cafe was terrific! We told her we were renting a car and she gave us directions to go to various places on the island and was also very attentive to our ordering preferences. Now as I said the breakfast buffet was good, the lunch menu at Palm Cafe is OK but very limited. Dinner at the Emerald Lounge was not good at all. We ordered nachos with chicken and beef and had to send them back because the chips were stale and the beef looked like it came out of a can. Then we tried the pizza the same night. It was ok but really could have been cooked longer but we didn't send it back because we were starving. Another night we decided to try the "Marriot" burger. We were asked how we wanted it cooked and I replied medium well. It came to us a little charred on each side and bloody in the middle. How can someone screw up cooking a burger? Well their cook did. Then we tried Portofino's. First time it was edible but not great. Second time the ribeye was severely undercooked and sent back. It returned slightly more cooked but was so tough it couldn't be eaten. When you spend a lot of money for and all inclusive trip you expect to have decent meals to eat. It's pretty bad that you have to go offsite to get a good meal when you've already paid for it.

Ft Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach: Great hotel and services!

The hotel is modern, clean and smells so nice when walking around I think its vanila. The grounds are well maintained and the restaurant was good too. View from the room was great of the beach and the pool. One dissapointment was the cost of beach chair & umbrella rental on beach.

Marriott Biscayne Bay: Amazing hotel

the hotel staff were no friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, no back issues there. The pool was fabulous, although the chlorine was a tad bit over the top in the jacuzzi, burning the eyes, another mojito took care of the pain. Hoel was close to the AAA, bout a 20 minute walk, save on the taxi

St. Kitts Marriott: worst vacation of my life

worst vacation of my lfe. Air Canada rep informed us as we landed that the resort was hosting 600 families (Beck farmers). The resort was complete chaos with drunken fools running around daily, service was poor (except for a couple of hotel employees who tried to make up for the mayhem. we purchased all inclusive tickets but were forced to eat off resort twice because restaurants were full (due to 600 Beck families on resort)- and eating off resort is super expensive (because they don't grow any [... read more]thing on St Kitts). The lunch menus were extremely limited and we had to resort to eating pizza everyday (unless you like caribbean food (fish chowders and fried chicken ) which we dont. The only fruit available on the resort was cantaloupe and honeydew melons and some sour pineapple (melons are the cheapest fruits available). we booked an oceanview room but were placed in a cottage away from the main building (which was full with the 600 famiies). we had to climb 4 flights of stairs everyday because our cottage had no elevator. we also requested a kids free resort when we booked but the Beck farmers included kids. The beach was dirty (seaweed everywhere and the water was comparable to wasaga beach Ontario. we love nightlife- dancing and casinos- well NO dancing and the casinos allow locals to attend so youre constantly looking over your shoulder for fear of being mugged. The Kittitian pitt bosses know the locals so they let them get away with harassing the visitors. we definitely did not feel safe or had any fun on this resort. we will NEVER return and have already discouraged friends from visiting. I wont even get into the administration- suffice to say - check your bills!!!! we booked all inclusive but were charged for meals and drinks more than once. the front desk staff definitely require training. St Kitts must have earned a great reputation 20 years ago when they first opened but they haven't kept up since then,. the island is not developed and definitely NOT safe to wander off resort. we asked a cab driver to take us for a drive around the island and he was happy to take our money to do so but he struggled to think of what to show us because there was absolutely nothing to see but one closed down hotel, one closed down sugar cane factory- oh and he showed us their cemetery. very third world island.

Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa: Impeccable service

The HB Marriott is a hotel we keep coming back to. The service exceeds 5 stars. The pool is wonderful, it has great restaurants and is in a perfect location in Fort Lauderdale - right on the beach. Although the rooms are a tad small, the views are amazing on either side of the hotel. It's the only hotel we will stay at in Fort Lauderdale.
