Wyndham Alltra Samana: Great Family Vacation

Rooms were nice and clean. Beach was great, pools were great...shallow for little ones and also a deeper pool. Samana is beautiful, lush vegetation and mountainous on the drive to resort. The resort ground were kept beautifully. The Service was great and the staff were great. Only drawback was food was just ok but you won't go hungry. This resort was perfect for our children and grandchildren. They really enjoyed this resort. It is on the smaller side but we like that and it was also a quiet resort which was perfect for us. Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Wyndham Alltra Vallarta

We spent 2 weeks at the Alltra, We did book the Clubroom Junior Suite Ocean View King on the 6th floor, the view was great could see for miles, The room was large very good bed and quiet, the A/C worked good, The club is worth booking as they have hot meals 3 times daily and great salads, coffee and all drinks , and bottled water whenever you wanted, also you can book the restaurants with the concierge on the 7th floor, and check in and check out without ever having to line up. The food at the  [... read more]resort was great , drinks were good ,Dos Equis beer on tap, The staff and service was amazing everyone working at the resort seemed happy. We did have a few minor problems with the room the first day and the maintenance department were on it within minutes. Bars and Paradise Mall is within walking distance and if not Uber or taxi is a short wait. Pools are good and good shade from the trees and the south side of the Condo buildings on the property, beach is quite large. The Sunset and Lobby bar do need to have more seating as it is couches in the lobby for now, but I think this will change as most customers let there concerns known in a meet and greet optional meeting. We did tour neighboring resorts and for the price point the Alltra is good.

Dreams La Romana: Beautiful Resort

Everything was top quality. The staff very friendly greeting you with an Ohla and a touch right hand to their heart. People play the stupid towel game and you’ll need to be at the beach/pool by 7 to play. Som towels won’t move till noon. Security should remove after one hr. We found the beach very busy with lounge chairs. Too many people for size of beach. ENCLAVE; Y or N ? We had and there are specific places in the beach or pools that indicate Enclave Only. No one walking by, backs onto greenway and edge of resort. Be naked on patio if you’d like. Very quiet. 6 USB charging plugs. Food was good. Many items ordered was not what is expected. Like fried breaded chicken pieces in a Caesar salad. Lamb was very good. Adult section is better, no kids running up and down lobby area. Tennis and pickleball could use more exposure. The location is not even on resort map. Good gym. Would certainly recommend but would not return, mainly because of the small beach. Don’t waste your time snorkelling.

Dreams Rose Hall: I loved the resort

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Over the week learned our names, we had such a great time. Clean rooms, our room had a beautiful ocean view which was absolutely beautiful. The beach was well maintained , we had so much fun in the lazy river. We did an excursion and the hospitality was exceptional. I would definitely come back.

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Hôtel très très familial.

Un peu vieillot comme hôtel mais très propre et confortable. Très belle plage mais vraiment pas assez de chaises. Fallait se lever très tôt le matin afin d’avoir des chaises. Nourriture excellente au buffet comme aux restos à la carte.

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort!!

We went on a girls trip, location was great, resort was nice, staff was great, beach was stunning ? our favorite part of the whole trip. Only thing is their was a ton of kids, so for that reason I would not personally book it unless I got a way cheaper price then what I paid to go!!

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Amazing Resort

This hotel was awesome! Very clean, the best customer service and the food was delicious. There isn’t really a beach in the property. However, there is a public beach beside it. I prefer the pool and loved it. Everyday there were activities going on at the pool and every night there was entertainment. The staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. It was very close to the markets and bars etc. We were able to walk around each night with no worries.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort!

This hotel, pools/grounds was absolutely amazing! We were a family of 8 (3 daughters with husband/boyfriends). We had the absolute best time and made so many memories. We knew the beach wasn't the best before going and we were ok with that as we are more pool people anyways and this resort has 9 amazing pools! The food, staff, entertainment were all excellent!!

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Excellent

This hotel lived up to the recommendation and descriptions of our Tripcentral agent Jairus Maus. Since he’d been there he was quite specific and answered all my questions concerning accommodations for my daughter and granddaughter, both strict vegans, the off- property options for exploration, the distance from the airport, etc.

this location was amazing all the pools were clean and staff was so friendly. the food was generic not as authentic as expecting but still good . the room was cleaned 2 x a day fully stocked bar and very good service.

Dreams Rose Hall: Amazing Resort & Friendly Staff

The resort was amazing, the staff were so friendly and warming. The lazy river and the bartenders at the pool bar had to be one of the highlights of our trip! The beach was murky but we didn't spend alot of time there so didn't bother us. We absolutely will be coming back just flying with a different company as that was the worst experience ever coming home..

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: very nice resort

Hotel was great the staff was spot on.. Didn't know about the condo owners there until we got there.. there were rules as to not upset the owners. Security by the pools was a bit un-nerving,, looking restless ,, also bored so bothering guests for anything,, not allowed to play your own music ,, must keep low voices and shows are quite low keyed,, Ala cartes were in my taste very disappointing,, we tried the Italian one night and no pizza that one time as I heard it was to best part there an [... read more]d fettuccini noodles were very hard,, and we tried the Grill on Valentines day thinking that we could buy a steak on the side separately from a different menu as we read this before going,, but no such thing.. food was so so ,, buffet was good every day no complaints there.. Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Not all it’s cracked up to be

We did enjoy our stay but it was not the same as it was 2 yrs ago The food in the buffet was recycled every single day from dinner to breakfast from breakfast to lunch and lunch to dinner Same crap every day . We had an amazing time at this Resort! The pool was incredible! It had a lazy river & a big slide. We had so much fun and were in the water most of the time. The workers were friendly & easy to understand as they spoke English. The food was very good. Our Air Transat representative was hardly at the resort. She had set up a first meeting for the next day at 2:00 and did not show up. We had to call her & finally showed up and told us I am not that late!!! Jewel Paradise Cove: Resort closed before we could stay

The resort closed and was sold before we could stay there this time. We were refunded and booked at another resort. We were very disappointed as we stayed at Jewel paradise cove a few times and enjoyed it. We also had many trips to Jewel Runaway Bay but it was also sold a few years ago. We are anxiously awaiting a new resort to open at these locations so we can possibly book there again.

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: OK Resort if the price is low

We have been going to this resort for the past 14 years. It was at its best back then when it was called the Great Parnassus. It has gone through a few ownership changes since then and the quality has steadily declined since. When we first started going there it was a 3.5 star and we thought it should be a 4.5 or even a 5. Now it truly should be a 3 star. There are still a lot of good things about this resort but only if the price is lower. It is a very large resort with a lot of people and no w [... read more]here near enough beach chairs to go around. Every year we go there seems to be fewer and fewer and this last time hardly any. They used to have a great adult pool area with additional chairs, two hot tubs, and no kids allowed. They have changed this to allow only people that have signed up for the time share program. This was a disappointment for us as our kids are grown up now and we continued to go to this resort as the adult pool was a high point. The food quality and variety is ok but again has declined over the years. The steak house used to have lots of options and was very good. Now there are few options and it is mediocre. You can pay out of pocket however and have an upgraded meal. This seems to be the theme of this resort now. Pay extra for things to be better or sign up for a time share to get better treatment and access to the whole resort. The staff there is the high point especially service on the the beach. The service staff is amazing. Although we probably will not go back for a tenth visit. I would recommend this place conditionally. If you can get it on sale for a 3 star price, then you will have a nice time there. If not then I would suggest trying somewhere else. I suggest to the resort to speak to the previous owners and try to restore it to its past glory. Beach - beautiful, great service, hardly any chairs - get one by 06:30 or you won't Pool - typical, very loud, lots of kids, lots of birds, slow service due to large area, - get a chair by 7:00 Service - great Food - good, less variety than other resorts, a la carts are easy to go to but not great quality Rooms - dated but nice, upgrade to the ocean view suite if the price is right it will be worth it Value - we got it for a very good deal, as long as you find a deal on it it will be worth it Location - perfect location

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Pleasantly surprised

We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun in January 2025. After reading a number of bad reviews I regretted our booking however, we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed this resort. Pro's-location is just 30 minutes from airport, hotel is a perfect size if you have small children or mobility issues, food was excellent, staff were some of the nicest we have encountered in all of our travel, pools were plentiful and they had good lounge chairs, you could get as many beach towels as  [... read more]you wanted, no bracelets required, no reservations required, good brand liquor including canadian whiskey, rooms were a very good size and beds were comfortable, plenty of drinks in the mini fridge, good nightly entertainment, check in and out very easy, Con's-beach is not the best. You can sit on it but because of erosion, it is small. All but main pool was cold and not enough umbrellas, they could use about 100 more around the resort pools. A pro was no reservations for restaurants but if it was full you had to stand in line, they need to get those vibrating pucks to let you know when a table is ready so you can go and sit by the bar while waiting. The road to the resort is ridiculously bad but has been for many many years. We found the dinner buffet very limited however the breakfast buffet was great. They have had some very bad reviews in the past and we could see that they took them seriously and have worked hard to fix those issues. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort.
