Good but …not good

This resort was wonderful but small more of a boutique style hotel ,no wait for chairs ,or drink line ups which was awesome downside is beware of timeshare type up sell they trick you into the meeting ,but short of that it was wonderful

PCP is changing and, in my opinion, not for the better.

My husband and I just recently returned from a last minute trip to the PCP for an 11 day vacation. The PCP guests we encountered on this trip have a totally different idea of what this resort was all about. There is no respect for other guests and the definition of "adults only" is certainly NOT what we have experienced in the last 12 years we have been going to this resort. Most of their actions should happen in the privacy of their room, but if you say anything you're called "Karen", told to m [... read more]ind your own business, and described as a very unhappy person who has no right to an opinion. Prior to this recent trip, we had already booked our regular 14 day stay coming February 2023. We will be cancelling this reservation and thankfully as we have cancellation insurance, will be taking our vacation funds to another resort.

Great staff, quaint resort!

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. Worth it to pay the extra as there are other perks included! Grounds are well kept. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Wifi is sketchy in many places throughout the resort. Lots of great waves but seaweed is an issue but do best to clean up!

Good adult only resort

The landscaping and beach/pool were well maintained and beautiful. The lounge chairs and shaded huts on the beach were plentiful. The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. The buffet was very good with a variety of options. The Steak and Italian restaurants were excellent, the seafood restaurant was closed a couple of days during the week so we didn't get to try it. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view from the balcony. The bed was a king and comfortable but the room l [... read more]acked a dresser and the bathroom had no door (there was a seperate glass door for the shower and toilet areas), which I'm told is European style, but small and no privacy. I think overall the rooms could be updated. The seaweed on the beach this time of year was a bit of an eyesore, though not something that can be controlled by the resort and the resort made an exceptional effort to have staff specifically dedicated to clearing it daily so tourists can access the ocean easily. We had a wonderful stay partly because of the group of people we travelled with but also the staff were the most attentive I've had the pleasure of experiencing and we appreciated their smiling service. The animation staff have lots of activities to get people involved volleyball soccer stretching on the beach games water aerobics and same staff entertained in the evening with interactive shows.

Awesome resort

Spend a wonderful vacation for the 7 consecutive trip at PCP great staff as always and great food nice beach and plenty of chairs at pool or beach , Will return and recommend this motel to anyone that like a quiet and restful place to power back up

Great Resort

The hotel room was very well layer out and had a great balcony With a perfect view of the pool and ocean. Coffee maker in room, love the coffee provided in room. All food weather in one of the three restaurants or the main buffet was very good and had amazing variety of different food each night. The stuff at the Princess were exceptional and went above and beyond to please all guests and were very professional and friendly. The Covid test Booking was not the easiest, We would recommend b [... read more]ooking it right away upon arrival. The Punta Cana Airport is alittle bit of a shit show so prepared for a long day on your return home.

Amazing Resort

The whole resort looks awesome. The rooms are well looked after. The food is good. Pool is kept clean and crystal clear. The staff are always willing to help. The beach is fabulous, lots of lounges, soccer nets, volleyball net. Lots of activities on the beach.

Great size / atmosphere

Very nice resort that is well laid out comfortable. Access to the beach or pool was never a concern with lots of chairs and paladas. Food was very good, the buffet was excellent and the ala carte restaurants are available without having to make any reservations. Resort is starting to show some signs of age but is in no means run down. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Resort has a team of entertainers that arrange activities on the beach to providing nightly entertainment at the main  [... read more]lobby. By 11:00 P.M. the show shuts down and the resort gets very quiet. The 24 hour bar and snack bar was situated between the pool and the beach with various lounging areas and booths if you wished to continue with the night life. Great resort if you want to relax, this is not a party spot. Would not hesitate to do there again

The best of everything minus getting sick

This is a calm resort tailored for more mature adults and not party people. There is entertainment once a day at the pool and almost every night, but when your looking for more entertainment you can head out to Caribe Resort for their nightly show selection. We appreciated that this resort was a mix of low and high energy. The beach area is amazing - best asset of this resort. The staff were very attentive, helpful and fun. There is lots of selling at this resort for time shares, souvenirs, excursions etc. which can get annoying. The room was very comfortable and they replenish fridge every day. The hotel size is smaller which makes it great to get around by feet without exhausting yourself. Overall very nice vacation.

Excelent two week stay

Raysa is an excellent hostess at the main buffet and is very friendly. You could always find something good to eat. Hose was very friendly and an excellent bartender at the beach bar where he never stopped .

This resort is beautiful.

The resort has great staff that are very attentive to you needs. We have been there 5 times in the span of 16 years and they still have the same staff. The resort is beautiful. They have kept it up. The food is very good and the beach and pool areas are lovely.

Awesome Adult only Resort

Great buffet assortment, room a bit dated but sufficient wonderful pool with walk in access was good for my 82 year old mom. Gorgeous beach walk for miles. Very enjoyable definitely would go back. Grounds Well kept clean resort.

Great resort

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. I like the size of the resort making everything close by. The long stretch of beach made for great walks and offered many water sports. There were several restaurants to choose from. There were several tours and excursions offered by Sunwing. I really enjoyed flying out of Hamilton.

Beautiful resort!

Beautiful grounds. Amazing beach. Great food with lots of variety. Friendly staff. Faculties well maintained. New furniture in lobby and beach restaurant. Would highly recommend the Punta Cana Princess!

Wonderful Vacation

This was our 2nd time at this resort and it was just as wonderful and beautiful as the first time. It’s a smaller resort and the people were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going again.

Wonderful, friendly, relaxing

Fantastic resort. Staff were friendly, accommodating and relaxed. Everyone seemed to enjoy being there. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beach was perfect! Plenty of loungers and palapas for everyone. Very nice VIP area with Bali style sunbeds. Everything was clean and beautiful. The food was very good. The steak at Rio Grande was excellent. The most relaxed I've ever felt while on vacation.

Great little resort

This resort has only 250 rooms or so, putting it on the smaller side for a resort. Which is exactly what my wife and I wanted for our 30th anniversary. But, small doesn't mean terrible. The pool was awesome with a small swim up bar. There was a very nice lobby bar and sitting area. There was a small beach bar. There was another bar very close to the beach. There were bars in each restaurant. Needless to say, we never waited to get a drink!! And the restaurants were very good. The buffe [... read more]t was always fully stocked with a great selection of food. The a la cartes were also very good with great service. Best of all were the staff. Only once in the week did we meet a staff member that didn't have a smile on their face. They were always willing to help and do what was necessary. And language was never an issue. It always amazes me that each staff member seems to be able to speak several different languages allowing them to communicate with every guest!! Overall, the staff were great. I would highly recommend this resort to everyone.

Fantastic small and intimate resort

Grounds well kept and maintained. Everyone we met super friendly. Accomadations top floor partial Ocean view jacuzzi suite who could ask for better ! Food amazing well prepared and hot ! Nice touch of unlimeted ala carte no reservatons required ! Small resort friendly and intimate everything you want. Even Beach Vendors not too bad ( tolerable lol )

Nice resort

The resort was a nice size. Always palapa’s available on the beach. Not so easy to find chairs around the pool because of people reserving chairs early in the morning. Room was clean and very nice. We stayed in building 4 on the top floor. Great location, we had pool and ocean view. Food and drinks were okay. No top shelf liquor available at most bars. Overall a very nice resort.

Punta Cana Princess - May 3-10

The resort was very nice. Clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurants were quite nice but found the buffet got a bit boring at times but overall quite nice. We would have to say the only thing we were not pleased with was the vendor beside the pool was a bit pushy and made it a bit uncomfortable walking beside it at times.
