Amazing resort is right

This resort is exceptional. The food, the hospitality, and everything else. Awesome. One of the best holidays I've ever had. Everything I needed was there. There was no need to lease the resort. I did go see some attractions that I booked through the resort. All in all. I'm going back next winter.

Amazing Resort

We were upgraded to the Grand Paraiso. This resort exceeded our expectation from the service of the hotel staff, to the amazing grounds which was very clean. The warm tropical weather was icing on the cake

Iberostar Paraiso Maya

Last week was our 39th visit to this resort. Obviously, we love it there. This time, we tried out a couple of specialty restaurants within the 5 hotel complex which we had not tried before. The Cajun restaurant at Lindo turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Nice room, good service and the Jambalaya was delicious. However, the Italian restaurant at Paraiso Beach was beyond belief! When I was already stuffed with the original serving, I asked the waiter for a bowl of the sauce just so I could continue enjoying that flavour! OMG, it was good! Will we be going back in February for our 40th visit AND 30th anniversary? Oh, yes! By the way, we have tried higher-end resorts like Sandals Antigua. What a waste of money that was. Iberostar Paraiso Maya IS paradise!

Wonderful stay

Overall we were impressed with the resort. The grounds were well kept and impressive. The many varieties of restaurants were quite enjoyable. There was a beautiful beach that we could enjoy in a multitude of ways. The only thing I did find unsatisfactory is that the level of service from waitstaff varied greatly throughout our stay

Amazing resort and vacation

Overall a great resort vacation from the flight, hotel transfers and the resort itself. More than enough things to do and see at the resort for adults and kids. My son loved the kids club program. The dive shop at the resort was a bonus for getting in some great diving. The a la carte restaurants were great and food selection and quality was also great at the buffet restaurants. Great Resort!!!

This is our second time to this resort and our recent visit it has surpassed our expections especially the new revamp of the Kidz Clubs which has many flexible activites for children young and older to be involved in. The whole Ibersostar ecosystem is very accommodating doesn't matter which resort you visit. I would definitely visit again. Amazing resort

From the moment we arrived we received excellent service. Staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Beach , pools, restaurants and grounds were truly outstanding. Sergio and Johnny were the best bartenders!

Levelled up to the Maya

We have always stayed at and enjoyed the Iberostar Paraiso Beach and finally got the chance to book a stay at the Maya. The Maya has a similar layout but everything is better. The rooms and pool are bigger, the a la cartes, buffets and bar areas have A/C. The food selection offers more choice and much is cooked fresh for you. Perfect getaway

Everything about the Iberostar Paraiso Maya is fantastic. Great, large and fresh clean rooms, incredible food, amazing beaches and stunning pools, but the best is the attentive and dedicated staff. What a vacation!!! Seven of us (4 adults, 3 kids of age ranging from 11 to 16 yrs old) went and we were all delighted. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended. Excellent family resort

This is a great resort for families with children. Two different kids pools, wave pool, ice cream bar, lazy river and play ground. The food was incredible and a good variety of vegetables, fish, meat and cheese. The home made bread and deserts are incredible.

One of the best vacations of our lives

This trip wasn't all about the journey - it started with our agent who worked with to find the perfect resort for us and the boys. From that point on it only got better. The resort was more amazing then we could have imagined. The staff were incredibly out going and easy to deal with and would do what they could to accommodate your needs. There really is far to much to describe to give you full details of how great this vacation was. From the front desk staff, to the guys greeting you at the door. From the housekeeping staff smiling all the time and asking what you might need for your room. To the entertainment and wait staff knowing my boys by first name and addressing that way to make them feel special. They say that Disney Resorts are the happiest places on earth....after this week I beg to differ. Its the only place I have ever been where on the first night there I said to my wife....we will be back here again. So much to do and be involved it you never have to leave the resort !! Great resort great staff great food

Everything is great except for the flintstone style bedrock beds. The staff gave us some foam to soften it which helped. Don't forget the sunscreen. They charge an arm and a leg on the resort The rooms are starting to show their age.

Great Resort

We stayed here for the 3rd time and enjoyed our self as usual. It was nice to see some changes like the Casino and the Star Cafe. The Food at the Bufffet was amazing, the a la cartes can use a bit of a change though. Trip Central made the process effortless, this was the easiest trip I ever booked. Our Agent Doug provided amazing service. Our Transat rep at the resort was a bit pushy, he called us (2) mornings in a row at 8:15 to book excisions. Other then that an amazing trip.

Amazing vacation

The Iberostar hotel and the staff that work there were amazing. They went out of their way to please you. The service, food, entertainment, spa and the beach were wonderful. We will definitely return again.

Beautiful resort

Great resort for families! It was our first family trip with our two year old son and it was great for kids! The rooms and grounds are very nice and clean. The service is A1! The staff is very nice! I recommend this resort in a heart beat! Will go back for sure!

Excellent resort!

Really nice resort, well maintained and updated, and giving the cozy, welcoming feeling. Staff was really nice, just there to ensure you are having a good time without being overbearing. Just right. The grounds were not too large to need a ride from one end to the other and spacious enough to not feel overcrowded. Again, a good balance. Food was good, and varied.

Amazing vacation!

The resort is beatiful, the service is excellent.We relly like that it is a family friendly resort, my daughter had a great time, the food was amazing, lots of variety. We had a really nice vacation, planning to come back next year.

Great vacation

Favorites parts: - The hotel - Coffee bars +++ - Seafood restaurant and its desert bar! It was amazing...so many choices - The Beach - The staff were friendly - The Grounds were fun and well kept...not sure how else to describe...felt very "grand" - The details in the rooms like the charger for different cell phones attached to the alarm clock/phone were cool. Even details like a light that turns on in the safe was cool. Good parts: - Buffet restaurants (Love their hazelnut chocolate crepes!) - [... read more] A la carte restaurants - Popcorn available in the evening at main bar near lobby - Can visit other attached resorts Disappointments: -They forgot it was our honeymoon or were never notified as we had asked when we booked with tripcentral. At the reception they said "congratulations" and that was it. We actually had to provide proof we had just gotten married. When we finally did provide proof they left a bottle of champagne in our fridge two days later and that was it...very uneventful and truly a disapointment from what was implied. If you are looking for special attention or details on your honeymoon don't go here. We still enjoyed ourselves because the resort does not make a honeymoon! - The beds are pretty hard. Took a few days and we got used to it. - The Spa needs a lot of work on the beds and in the baths. Tiles loose and probably hard to get clean since they had done some patch work.
