Loved every minute of it!

Everything was wonderful! We went for March break which can be a bit chaotic time but despite that the resort had lots of room where no one was fighting over lounge chairs by the pools! It was so spacious. There was an adult only selection too. The grounds were beautiful, well maintained. Lots of facilities. Best food we've ever had on a resort and we've been all over the Caribbean. The restaurants were so good and was glad to see there was a dress code in effect. The beach was well maintained.  [... read more]People were so friendly and not in your face bugging you to get involved, everything was optional and what you felt you were up for. We went on a great excursion, such a beautiful island to explore for every type of traveler and ages. Best part it was close to the airport. My favourite place and we would definitely return.

Amazing Resort All Around

Not one bad thing to say about our trip to Coconut Bay Beach Resort in St Lucia Friendly Staff, Wonderful Views, Tasty Fresh food for the WHOLE family!!!! A definite revisit in the future! Thank you Monique for helping us plan our Family Vacation

Outstanding Vacation

It started out great and got even better! We were met at the reception with a refreshing drink, and were efficiently registered and in our Garden View room very quickly. Excellent room with masses of stowage space. Sliding door to our private veranda out to the grounds, such a nice view! The property was very clean and tidy, with lots of friendly staff who always greeted us as we went around. Dining was a snap. So much to choose from at the breakfast buffet, and in the evening seven to choose  [... read more]from, all different styles. Our personal favourite was the Calabash, and for a very reasonable extra fee, La Luna for a cosy, romantic meal under the stars!. Lots of entertainment, and New Years bash was well organized and fun. Plenty to do, or just relax and enjoy. We will return!! (And it’s only 5 minutes from the airport)

Pleasantly Surprised!

This was our first trip to St. Lucia and to the Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa. Our Garden room on the first floor (as per our request ahead of time), had a vibrant very fresh feeling. It was bright and spacious with a balcony overlooking a manicured garden and the ocean. The room consisted of a sitting area, king size bed, flat screen TV and a bathroom with a glass enclosed shower and that was always well stocked with fresh towels. We did not want for anything. We just loved spending most of our time on the beach, which was regularly raked for seaweed. We always found lots of confortable beach chairs and hammocks there, for our enjoyment. When we moved to the pool areas, we always found them perfectly maintained. We totally enjoyed the wide variety of tasty food offered at the Resort. I especially enjoyed the wide variety of fish dishes. We booked the Land and Sea day trip through the Resort and we had phenomenal time. Snorkaling at the Pitons was incredible, but the best part of the excursion was our land-guide. He was so incredible knowledgeable and entertaining. He knew about every plant at the botanical gardens and the benefits of the sulphur springs and mud baths. We had a memorable day! We are already dreaming of our return to Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa.

Fantastic Resort!

The resort was very clean and well run. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. First time to a resort that had free WIFI everywhere including our rooms. They even had a laptop that they loaned out to anyone who wanted to use it. Our room was cleaned everyday and flowers and towel animals left on the beds. Thank you Stella! The food was fantastic. The Chef even took the time to prepare and cook a slab of Blue Marlin that we were lucky enough to catch on our deep sea fishing excursion. [... read more] The entertainment crew were great and we had a lot of fun. There is a lot of things to do there with out having to go to far. We went Zip lining, horse back riding, Segway riding, fishing, snorkeling and even had a mud bath in a hot spring fed by the heat of a volcano! Would recommend this resort to everyone and would definitely go back. Had an amazing trip.

Beautiful resort

numerous restaurants, food was great. lots of activities on the resort, theme nights were well done, many different areas to relax in. Friendly environment. Rooms were outdated on the family side in need of repairs. If you are looking for a beach vacation this is not the place. It is rough and lots of thick seaweed washes up. But you can walk a long distance. 5 mins from airport

Great service, Good Resort!

Our experience was great. St. Lucia is absolutely stunning. Go on a few excursions so that you can appreciate the beauty of this lush island. CBay is on a huge plot of land with a lot of fun aspects to it. The service and food were excellent (diary/gluten contents indicated in menus and some labels which is good). I  [... read more]feel that the service and food were comparable to a 5 star resort, but the grounds themselves were true to a 4 star. The washroom in the room could have been bigger and updated (especially the shower) to match the fantastic size of the suite. The only real issue I have is that the pools and lazy river desparately need a cleaning and painting. Paint chips were coming off of one of the pools and the bottom was a yellow/brown colour. The lazy river seemed to have either a mould or paint issue since there were black spots on the bottom. We overheard others who were concerned about it too. If the resort updates that area, I really would not have any other complaints because it is stunning otherwise. Yes, the water is rougher than other parts of the island, but you should really be going on excursions to learn about the island anyway. You'll see beautiful beaches and water as you get around (volcano, pitons, gros islet party among some of the best excursions to try there). One small other suggestion for the resort is to keep celebrating the St. Lucian culture for the entertainment. I didnt really understand the random cowboy night. We wanted to celebrate your culture more! Overall, this was a great experience. The country and people will steal your hearts, and the resort does they're genuine best to make your stay a welcome one!

Fabulous vacation!!

We just returned home after spending a week at Coconut Bay Resort and loved it!! We are a family of four - two adults and two children (ages 1.5 and 6.5 years old) - and there was definitely something for everyone to do. The staff were very friendly, the food was excellent and the pools, lazy river and water slides were tons of fun!! The breeze where the resort is situated was most welcomed as well so it never felt that hot. Amazing Vacation

One of the best resorts we have visited. Loved the pool grill as well as the Jerk Hut. Bartenders were happy and helpful. Mitch especially went above and beyond when he worked behind the bar. Would not hesitate to recommend. We will be going back.

Amazing resort

I would highly recommend going here. Food staff grounds and island are all amazing. Have been south many times and this by far is our favourite. Also a big thanks to Teelah Brown at trip central for all her amazing help with our booking.

Comfortable and casual

Pros: Overall, I found the resort to be comfortable and the vibe to be very casual. Resort staff were very friendly. The beach is great for walks. Walk towards the Surf Shack for a nice morning or evening walk. The view from the room was amazing- well kept gardens and the sea. All the rooms (2nd floor and above) have an ocean view. Lots of lounge space-both on the beach and in the lobby. The resort did not seem crowded, even though it was fully occupied. The room and the resort, in  [... read more]general, was very clean and tidy. Bed were super comfy. The balcony is great. Rooms are cleaned everyday. I found the shower to be small, but adequate. I would prefer a door for the shower, instead of a shower curtain. The drink service was excellent. Cons: Power outages: I was surprised by the power outages!!!! We would have 3-4 power outages per day. It would take 5-10 minutes for the power to come back. Found it annoying, especially at night with young kids around. Take a small torch with you. Food was okay at the resort restaurants. The buffet restaurant definitely needs air conditioning. It was hot and humid and I found it very uncomfortable eating breakfast and lunch at the buffet restaurant due to the heat. The lobby is also not air conditioned. But, there was good cross ventilation and the breeze from the sea helped. Guests had to reserve restaurants physically at the restaurant booking area. The resort has 3 restaurants (Calabash, Silk and Capri) without additional cost, and some were fully booked for two days. The lady at the restaurant booking office informed me that they have 600 guests at the resort and they have space in the 3 restaurants only for 100 guests!!! Guests do have the choice of going to the buffet restaurant for dinner (no booking required). But, I would expect an all inclusive resort to have fine dining restaurants to accommodate all guests. The resort has 2 more options for dining-for which guests would have to pay extra: La Luna and private dining option. The food and service at Calabash and Silk were great. Not too impressed with Capri. Food at the antipasti buffet was cold. That being said, I would definitely consider going back to the resort.

TOP NOTCH RESORT

ABSOLUTELY EVERYING ABOUT THIS RESORT WAS AMAZING. WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER. FROM THE MOMENT WE ARRIVED WE KNEW THIS RESORT WAS GOING TO BE A PLACE WE WOULD THOROUGHLY ENJOY...AND WE DID. WE ARE ALREADY PLANNING TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR.

Beautiful resort and beach

We loved our stay at Coconut Bay Resort. The beach is beautiful, we walked along for what seems like miles. All rooms are facing the ocean where you can hear the continuous waves, which is so relaxing. The staff is friendly, room is modern, although the bed is hard, we were very well attended to, where the staff was happy to attend to our requests to fill our mini fridge with our favourite drinks. The entertainment was better than other all inclusive hotels we've been to. We did a few rounds through the hotel lazy river. The scenery in St Lucia is just breath taking. It was hard to leave ! Mud baths and the sights of the Pitons were my fav excursions!

Beautiful Resort

Employees were friendly. Food was delicious, with numerous selections and choices. Waiters/waitresses at restaurants always asked about food allergies. Very impressed. Beach was well kept and seaweed/turtle grass maintained.

Enjoyed our stay

We have been to many resorts in the Caribbean (DR, Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica) and I can say we have enjoyed some more than the Coconut Bay and some not as much. We found it to be similar to other 4* resorts that we have been to. I would say the 5* resorts that we went to in Punta Cana are nicer and they are the same or less money. The Coconut resort is literally 5 minutes from the airport which is really nice. We landed at 12:00 p.m. and were sitting having lunch at 12:30 p.m. We found the foo [... read more]d very good especially the Calabash a la carte. We were disappointed with the service in the buffet and it wasn't busy so that wasn't a excuse. The servers were good to clear away your plates but we found it hard to get a second drink and in some cases a first drink. The resort is not that big so it is easy to navigate and although it was as 80% capacity there were no problems getting chairs (no need to get up early and reserve). There are 4 different pools, lazy river and water slides so people really spread out. Very few people were swimming in the ocean because of the seaweed but it is a nice beach and there are some areas that are much nicer to swim than other. The bartenders were great and they have high end alcohol. We enjoyed the entertainment at the lobby bar as it was usually locals playing music. The resort is good for relaxing as there is an adult only area and the other guests were really friendly. We did an island tour with a local taxi and it was a full day of seeing the island. The island is only 29 miles long but it takes over 90 minutes to get to the north through, around and over mountains. We went to the sulfur springs, water fall, volcano, sugar beach and they were all nice to see. St. Lucia is a really nice island and the people are quite friendly. Our room had a king bed and love seat. They are not huge but we didn't spend a lot of time there. All rooms have a view of the ocean. TV is all English so lots to watch if that is your thing. There was no beer in the fridge when we arrived and we called down they said that was because we were on the second floor. Not sure what that had to do with anything but they sent someone up with some beer and the maid was great to leave the fridge well stocked after. Overall we enjoyed our stay but likely would not return because we do like to go to different resorts and we feel you can get far greater value for your money on other islands.

Good Resort

Hotel is dated. The accommodations are in the range of 3 star. The food service are 5 star. The ocean is too windy to swim at. Pools are great and kids will enjoy water slides and lazy river. Overall good resort Location is not ideal as you can not walk too far off resort.

Amazing Resort!!

Everything about Coconut Beach was great! Very clean grounds, hotel, pool, beach front. The customer service was amazing...so friendly, out going and helpful. Great activities offered with an amazing instructor! Great food too!

Coconut Bay is a piece of paradise

Fabulous vacation, went Feb 5 to 14. The facility was excellent and has so much to offer. It was a bit windy some days, but the breeze was refreshing. The entertainment crew was outstanding, Sam and Jay J, kept everyone entertained and encouraged people to get involved at their events. They were both so friendly and full of elnergy, it was a pleasure to spend time with them at the many outdoor events. Kirby has amazing energy and a lot of fun to watch and party with. The food was great, but we did not take advantage of the a la cart, but heard they were great. The main restaurant and beach bars gave lots of options. The adults only breakfast on the terrace was fabulous, we ate there 3 mornings. Kenny, Carlos and Asha, at the restaurant were very friendly and efficient. We did 2 tours, Land and Sea, and the Rainforest, all booked through the resort, Catherine was very informative. The tours were informative and a lot of fun, the tour guides were excellent. Highly recommend this resort.

Wonderful Coconut Bay!

Coconut Bay situated in St Lucia is a wonderful resort to vacation. My children, grandchildren and my husband and I enjoyed our one week stay immensely. The food and rooms were very good for the very reasonable price spent. 5 minutes from the airport is a bonus! The most important fact to know is that the staff is absolutely outstanding! Perfect family vacation

This resort is definitely special and unique. Well laid out with kids in mind and plenty of activities to keep them happy while also catering to parents and helping them to relax. Staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. The food was amazing. Although the hotel was at capacity it seemed half empty because of the massive property, number of things to do and relatively low number of rooms (vs property size).
