Amazing vacation, amazing resort!

This resort was hands down the best we have ever been to. From our swim up room, to the beach, to the food, to the service it was all top notch. The service though... we literally felt like royalty our entire vacation. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful resort!!

The TRS Turquesa is a beautiful resort! The rooms were very nice and clean. We had a swim up in building 54 (near the back but only 3 minute walk to the lobby). The only downside to the room I found was the shower. Good pressure and heat but I didn’t like that there was only a wand vs shower head in ceiling. The service everywhere was great except we found the pool bar (in middle of pool) was very slow. Food was very good. It would be nice if items were labelled better at the buffet (or if they had a vegan section – maybe one day :) ) The Indian restaurant was yummy (the chef came to our table to discuss what vegan dishes we could have, that was nice!) Italian resto was good as well, yummy wood oven pizzas. We checked out CHIC Cabaret show – definitely worth seeing, very fun! I believe bookings after 2019 guests have to pay $20 ( it’s more if you are not TRS hotel – not sure it’s worth more than $20 though) This was our first time at TRS and we will definitely go back!

Excellent food and service

We have been to Punta Cana 4 times and this is best place we have stayed. The level of service and the attention to detail was exceptional. A la carte options for all meals. Walkable but shuttles available. No reservations needed for any Turquesa Restaurant. Butler service. 24 hour room service. We will definitely return.

Beautiful Resort!

Everything about this adult-only destination was perfect. My wife and I had an amazing stay. Food was great. Service was great. The beach is breathtaking. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to relax and unwind.

Live like royalty!!

We absolutely loved our stay at TRS Turquesa! Very clean and well maintained resort. Staff were amazing and food was made with love. Everything was well organized and detailed so we felt comfortable and confident with our entire stay. This was our first trip down south so we didn't know what to expect however our trip advisor with Trip central always clarified with us. We would book with trip central again.

Nice resort Relaxing holiday

Hotel grounds beautiful and well maintained. We had a swim out room and loved it. Our room was clean but could use some paint, updating and had a few maintenance issues. Food to us was not the best but we always found something to eat. Italian and the steak house El Dorado were very disappointing. A large number of staff spoke english which was a plus. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the place for you. If you are looking for more of a party atmosphere it's not. Would we return probably.

Great resort

Grounds were fantastic, beaches are clean and we spent most days at a cabana. Luckily the last day we were there a lot of seaweed washed up on the beach. Once the seaweed washed up on the beach it takes at least a day for the front-end loader to clear it away. Resort Pools are very clean and there are a lot of pools around the buildings. Great selection of restaurants on the resort. I found the food to be ok. Transportation around the large resort is convenient and fast.

Mostly good, but...

The resort is beautiful and part of a larger connected of series of properties within the Grand Palladium area. TRS is the nicest part and is adults only. It is nice. The staff were very enthusiastic in pouring drinks. There are some things which are difficult to forgive. The men's restrooms often had empty or broken soap dispensers. I had a stomach bug, hard to know if that was related but gross regardless. Some of our meals at restaurants were unreasonably slow. One took the better part of  [... read more]three hours.

Our Favourite !

We have had 8 stays so far at TRS and we totally love it. Its our favourite. We planned almost all of them through TripCentral. Nicole DeForest, our agent, was beyond awesome to assist us and our friends that came along with us. Highly recommend. Tesa and Kevin B

Awesome time!!

What an amazing time our group had. The pools, food and service was some of the best. The bartenders at building 57 were over the top. A big thanks to our butler Bismery, she went out of here way to take care of all of us. Always greeted with a smile and took care of any needs or issues we had. Should be Butler of the year!!

Huge property with lots to offer !!!

It was very clean .. we stayed on the adult side and our butlers desmarie and Caroline and King Kong were all so accommodating!!! We had a large group and all had swim out rooms... with a bar right beside it ... we spent slot of time there ... our room was very well set up .. although it did have a little water leak but just kept a towel down there ... always remember you are in a 3rd world country .... all and all we enjoyed it .. Nice time

Over all we had a great time, we went with a group of 7 couples. The swim up pool to our room was a nice treat and having a bar next to the pool made it very nice . The butler service was very nice with friendly staff. It was also very nice to have room service at any time. The food and drinks were generally good. The beach was was very good with all sand with lots of it. As for the down falls... the first two days were hit or miss when trying to get hot water.

Excellent time in Dominican Republic

1st The palladium is a very nice resort. Friendly people. a good choice of restaurant. Famous landscaping Excellent transportation within the resort. Gorgeous beaches as far as we can see Beautiful large room 2nd The Melia the same opportunities as above + the use of catamaran On both resorts, the night show need some improvement Overall great vacation & only 4hrs flight ! Not a 5 star

To start with the positives, all staff were friendly, especially the bar staff and the drinks were of premium quality. I went with friends and had a fun time. However, food was mainly cold and of not good quality and the service in some of the restaurants was bad or at least hit and miss from one day to the next. Rooms were old and worn, chipped furniture, mold in showers, filthy toilet door and bathtub, rusty bathroom fixtures and the mattress was awful, very uncomfortable to sleep on.  [... read more] The staff try, they try hard, but do not deliver. It took 6 days and numerous requests to various staff (and tips) to get wine glasses in our room, just to have them taken away again the next day and not replaced. Oddly the parties we went with had wine glasses in their room upon arrival. Some room features that were promised to be in the room, were just not. No 4 bottles of alcohol etc etc. Not a bad plce, but nowhere near a 5 star and not worth the money.

Wonderful resort!

The TRS Turquesa is a beautiful resort. The grounds are neatly manicured and trimmed on a daily basis. All the public areas are very clean. The rooms are really well cleaned and we were surprised to even see the public washrooms so clean with the traffic of people at the resort. It is the first time in a resort that we see the washrooms close to the pool and beach that clean. The maids came twice a day to clean our room and then prepare it for the evening. The employees such as waiters, butle [... read more]rs, etc, that we dealt with were very polite and always ready to help. One day, the WiFi of the hotel was not working and one of the animator allowed us to use his phone to do our check in for our flight the following day. The air conditioning was very cold in our rooms but we were able to control it since we each had an individual control. We heard that in other resorts the guests were not able to control the air conditioning. There are several pools available to the guests and a beautiful beach, so everyone was scattered throughout so we did not have the feeling that it was packed. There are several palapas available for those who want some shades at the beach and at the main pool. We could walk a long distance along the beach and see various resorts. They were no weeds in the water. The resort gave us the opportunity to dine in the other restaurants part of the Grand Palladium (GP) Group, so we had lots of variety. We did not have to reserve for the restaurants at the Turquesa but we had to reserve for the restaurants included in the GP Group. Our favorite restaurant was the Japanese Sumptuori, they were really generous with their food. Our second best restaurant was the El Dorado Steak House, the steaks were delicious. However, the beef in the other restaurants are not recommended since they are not tender and the meat is fat. There was a grill close to the beach so we could eat outside and still enjoy the sun. There was also a restaurant really close to the beach. Our favorite buffet was the Behique due to the variety of the food, warm food and quieter place than the other big buffet place. In some restaurants, we felt that the food was not warm enough and sometime overcooked. We were not bothered by any Travellers Club Sellers. We were asked only once to attend a session and we refused and they did not bother us after. This resort is very close to the airport; it took approx. 15-20 minutes with the shuttle to get to the resort from the airport. We would definitely go back to this hotel. There were some activities for those who wanted to participate and they were not too loud. We were able to rest and relax at the Turquesa.

Nice Resort, Customer Service Could Improve

We stayed at Royal Suites Turquesa for a week in February. The place is lovely, food is good, but the people are not as friendly as was expected or experienced in other countries. Checking in and checking out should have been filmed for resort educational purposes on how not to do things.

Best vacation ever

Wow...where do i start! This resort is awesome. It was our second time here. We stayed for 10 days with a group of freinds! I want to give special recognition to my butler Yajaira and her team. Sandi and the team at the evening pool bar! And my maid Teresa Yan, who kept our room spotless and confortable. A typical day: Morning a la carte breakfast on the beach patio with a magnificent view of the ocean, with live music in the background. Wander down to the beach, easy to find chai [... read more]rs. The beach is clean, lots of palm trees and cabanas to sit under. Waiters bring you drinks! Wifi reception is great. Lunch time you wander back up to the pool. They served fresh grilled meats, fish (highly recomend the grouper) lobsters, shrimp, calamari...salades. you can bring your plate of food back to the beach and eat it. Later in the afternoon, they have live entertainment in the pool. So while you get ready for dinner, you can listen to amazing musicians play music while floating around on a platform in the pool. The blues rock guitarist was the best! Dinners were amazing! My butler Yajaira booked everything for us. BTW ..Yajaira is amazing. You are lucky if you are staying in block 52. We had champagne and bubble baths waiting as a surprise! Then we wander into the main lobby to enjoy a cocktail before dinner. OMG..oh my god! Try the the gin and tonic with cucumber! Delicious! Or the chocolate or expresso martinis. Best restaurant was Eldorado! Jose our server made it the best experience during our stay. The tomahawk steaks at Caprichi were amazing too! Late evenings at the pool bar! THE BEST! Sandi and guys were amazing. They keep the drinks coming and make the best shots...always freindly! Cant say enough about how hard Sandi and the guys work to ensure everyone is happy and having a good time. We met a lot of great people at the pool bar at night. Good times! Cant wait to go back! Fantastic resort to go

Well we’re do I begin from the moment we arrived at the resort we were welcomed with drinks and was checked in fast. We went up to our room witch was fantastic fruit tray wine in bucket. Our conceige was amazing she went above and beyond for us. She filled our tub with flowers bubbles candles and champagne fantastic place to go.

Best Vacation

The TRS Turquesa Palladium in Punta Cana was the best holiday we have ever had. We had room 5245 and it looks onto the main pool. The room was beautiful, with the only problem being some days we had no hot water in the shower. The King bed was very comfortable and housekeeping had the room cleaned before lunch. Service was supper good and the food at Helios was so good. I would definitely go back to this resort.

Beautiful resort

Rooms were very clean, towels were always fresh. Our butler randy was excellent, anything we needed he made sure we received it. The food was exceptional, any type of drink the bartenders could make. This was the second trip to this resort for us (2016). We noticed many improvements. Our suggestion would be to add a tuck in the hotel. we were surprised that we had a problem exchanging money.
