Media Luna Resort: Excellet resort

Stayed at the Luna first week of February Great resort very relaxed setting excellent staff would rate it as a 4 star. A great variety of food mix. Would recommend a cabana room not sure what the hill side rooms are . overall a great vacation . Has a small beach but great for snorkeling and diving.

Media Luna Resort: Media Luna-Roatan

The Air Transat details for this resort was a bit misleading. We had a junior suite, which was large, but very basic for the price piont. Perhaps Honduas accomodations are more pricey than other Carribean or Mexico destinations. Cost to take the private taxis was expensive, for what it was. Because of the location and terrain it is impossible to walk to the highway as the road grade is very steep. There is no villlage within walking distance, so two weeks is too long for this resort. br />  [... read more] Food is decent. Dining space is really nice. There is only one buffet in the all- inclusive. We thought there were two. The 2nd restaurant is not part of the all-inclusive and dishes range from about $30-40 USD. Beach is beautiful and snorkelling in the area was great! Pool area is good. Grounds are nice and pituresque. I would say the beach is a 5...pool is nice but a 4. Service frome front desk is lacking as they look at you like they don't care. Lobby lighting at night is very poor and dim. Bar and restaurant staff were pretty good. Animation staff were great. Hey Titiana and Brandly! And hey Kenny from the bar! Unforunately music and activitIes are extremly repetative and limited. The DJ hardly changed his playlist fom day to night to disco. With new ownership, they are waiting for some new games and equipment. Take American money, which we were not told. Aviod credit card use as a 15% charge is added (in addition to U.S. exchange rates) We were mislead into thinking a bit of Candian cash and credit card use was best-I don't think it was. Exchanging Canadian money is difficult and they rip you off big time and give an unfair rate. Luckily our rep exchanged some cash for us close to the bank rate. Tours are not worth it. Rent a driver and plan out your own excusions. Better than that, rent a car if on the East end of the island. We are people that like a laid back and peaceful environment. But due to inaccessibity to walk a village or market and limited activities; this resort may not be a good choice for a vacation greater than a week.

Media Luna Resort: Fantastic holiday!

The resort food was amazing! Only comment is the shellfish area in dining buffet should be not beside regular food. I have a shellfish allergy and I never trust if someone else has used the food tongs from one food to next. Our room was nice and clean everyday. I asked three days for one light in bathroom to be fixed but no one fixed it. The entertainment staff were the best! Hats off to Branley, Ttania and the rest of animation crew! Definitely would come back.

Media Luna Resort: A dream come true

Within minutes of our arrival, I knew I would love this place! The photos I saw before coming were not touched up: the jungle really is that dark green, the buildings really are clean and in good condition. We were delighted with our lodgings: little air-conditioned cabanas with a balcony, a huge bathroom and a nice room. There were also overhead fans if you don’t like the A/C. As in many other resorts, we can’t drink the bathroom water. It is salty as is the shower water. But the resort supplied drinkable water in several spots. The shower always had hot water, throughout the day. The gardens were well maintained and riddled with small wildlife and beautiful flowering shrubs. That enchanted me! The food was delicious. They had a huge variety of things to eat, including a table of more typical regional foods, three times a day. The bar provided a good selection of drinks. The staff were smiling and always eager to help. The animators for our daily entertainment were also very pleasant. They were present without being overbearing. They offered all sorts of activities, from yoga to Zumba, with card or board games for the children to informed conversation for the adults. They were also all accomplished dancers and provided the after-supper entertainment in colourful costumes and well practiced shows. There was a dive shop and a small store, as well as a small winery and a pool (snooker) room. The pools were clean and in perfect condition: no peeling or faded paint, no mould anywhere as I have seen in other resorts. The beach was smaller than in some places we’ve been, but clean and the watercraft were in good condition. They fumigated against mosquitoes twice a day and that was a little noisy and smelly, but didn’t last long. There were also armed security patrolling the large grounds. This is the perfect resort for R&R, as it is rather secluded and this is exactly what we were looking for.

Paradise Beach Hotel and Resorts: Quaint Resort

Smaller resort which needs some updating. No ocean view rooms. Did not get the king bed room on upper floor as booked. Plumbing (shower/hot water) inconsistent. Needed to ask for towels and hair dryer. Pillows were hard as a rock. Most of the staff were wonderful and tried to be helpful. All inclusive was timed for buffet and only 1 restaurant. Doing breakfast only is a better option as lots of places to eat for dinner. Location is great for beach and snorkelling. Media Luna Resort: Get away from your every day life!

Friendly staff at hotel makes an effort to welcome you at every meal - and some even remember your name! Just make sure you remember theirs too! Healthy food choices, special pasta station every day for the not so healthy choices. Staff quick to fix every problem. Wine and drinks are served at the meals - or you can get it yourself. Nice pool.

Media Luna Resort: Fair resort to visit

The rooms had no hot water,the water we received was salt water ,the septic system was totally unacceptable.It did not not say on any write up that you had to pay if you went to the A'la cart restaurant.The food was par service was very good .The Wi -Fi was only in the lobby and was very inconsistent at the best of times.The beach & activities were good.It rained for the first 2 days but after that it was beautiful the rest of the trip.I would rate this resort as a 3.5 star resort at best.

Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort: Great Vacation at Infinity Bay

Huge room overlooking the beach. Full kitchen, living room, bar, dining area, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies - very clean. All staff were excellent. Not several hotel restaurants just the main buffet and beach restaurant, but good food quality and large portions at the beach alacarte. Excellent for diving and snorkelling in front of the resort or charters from the dock. More restaurants on the beach and surrounding area - prices reasonable and food good. Water taxi was only $3 into West End village. S [... read more]ome vendors on the beach but polite and did not harass. Beach is much busier when cruise ship people come from about 10am to 3pm. Great pool and very clean. Special mention goes to Juanito at the beach bar and our friend Rachel with Yoga in the pool! We would return.

Henry Morgan Resort: Fantastic ‼️

This resort is terrific. Clean. Friendly people. Great food selection. Fantastic beach and clear water. The suite we had was so spacious you could probably live in it as a one bedroom apartment. Definitely going back.

Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort: Stunning Roatan

We stayed at the Infinity Bay Beach Resort. The resort is beautiful and the people and staff fabulous. The food was good for the most part and rooms clean and spacious. Our Sunwing flight was early and uneventful just perfect. Do not go on the Sunwing suggested “swimming with mini pigs tour”. It was horrible. The pigs were terrified and forced to get into the water and swim for their lives. Just awful. Everything else about our trip was wonderful

Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort: Very clean hotel and friendly

The hotel is very good , the staff very friendly and helpful ,the pool area very clean and open view to the ocean. this hotel have a beautiful and clean beach. Not too many boats around, The food was delicious,

Fantasy Island: Fantastic resort

This resort was absolutely PERFECT. Beaches were clean, grounds were well kept. Snorkelling was amazing. Was the best vacation we have had in past few years. Would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a beautiful quiet get away.

Fantasy island resort and dive center was ok. If you are going there to dive or snorkel you will not be disappointed. We saw so much marine life right off the beach Absolutely amazing The beaches were great also and since you are on a private island...very private. We loved it. The rooms were acceptable and kept very clean The buffet was ample but nothing fancy but we certainly didn't go hungry. The cheeseburgers at the Palapa were pretty good. The bar was ok. Very little choic [... read more]e and even a simple upgrade to dark rum cost. No blender drinks or mojitos or anything like that but ok. Two drink minimum so if playing cards with four people more then one person would have to go up to order. Not a big deal... just strange. The white faced monkeys running around the resort were friendly and very entertaining Overall this is a great little intimate resort. It is a bit tired but would not take much to make this place a booming five star. We really enjoyed it.

This resort is known as a divers paradise. There was many great things about it!! The main thing is it isn't like a 5 star mexican resort!!. You arent going to get drinks served to u on the beach or pool If u understand that u will love it. It is a small resort so u always had a chair at pool or beach. The only thing that put a damper on things was the bugs. Sand flies were bad!!! They fumigated but still bad. Some people were bitten bad others not much!! Bring bug lotion. This resort wouldn't be good for any one with mobility issues. A lot of stairs and stone walkways. There was children there but nothing specific for kids.My fiance and myself really enjoyed ourselves.!!! PS definitely pay the little extra for cabana. The other rooms are like small dormitories. I

Media Luna Resort: Great resort with terrific diving!

Media Luna is a quiet, lush resort with great food and drink. The garden Carbana we stayed in was clean, comfortable and quiet. All of the staff were friendly and willing to help when it was required. The boat and shore diving were terrific! We appreciated the planning and support from all of the dive staff. We would have no problems going back to Media Luna!

Mayan Princess Beach Resort: Beautiful but would not return. Not worth the price.

We stayed at the Mayan Princess Resort in Roatan for 14 days. It is a beautiful resort, beautiful rooms. most staff is nice but some shouldn't work with public honestly. They have some things they need to work on seriously. Please know that they request a credit card at the front desk, take a carbon copy of it and actually make you sign it before you get your room or you can't stay... all inclusive? I've never seen an all inclusive resort ask for credit card at check in... Good thing my  [... read more]boyfriend had a card, I didn't. Also, please know that there is a departure tax (USD) in Honduras which fluctuates daily. We paid $97 USD for 2 people. they do take credit card for that though. Be advised that they do cater to the cruise ships first. They invaded our resort one day, no room at the beach or at the pool. They were everywhere and we didn't exist during that time. They even have their own drink menu (better than ours). They have everything included, not us. They are currently building another cruise port... it will get worse. We flew in with sunwing and was not aware that there is a bar menu only for sunwing guests. The other drinks are not included. I asked for a banana mama and was told no because banana liqueur is not included for sunwing guests. One day they use Tanqueray and the next day they refuse to. They have beer there but Heineken is not included which was expected but first week they were selling it for $3 each, this week was $4 each and one day was $2. I asked the manager and he didn't know so he gave me 2 for free (probably to keep me quiet). How can beer go from one price to another one day, week to the next? The money they get from that beer goes into a jar, not the cash register... get it? The drinks were very basic: mojito, gin tonic, rum coke. Sunwing only had access to 1 a la carte restaurant, everyone else had 3 choices. The food was amazing the first week but not so much second week, I mean who wants to eat quesadillas, nachos, corn tortillas, wieners, peppers and onions in the morning? We ended up eating (and paying) at other resorts on the beach. Christmas dinner was a joke. Turkey and pork, nothing else other than the corn tortillas and nachos... not even any cranberries...it was disappointing. The peddlers... omg the peddlers... non stop all day... constant... I'm serious its non stop. Very annoying, unable to relax at all. They are in your face ALL the time all day. There is nothing to do on this resort. If you are planning just go and relax that's perfect ( that's what we wanted) but if you're expecting to have some entertainment on the resort, there isn't any. If you want entertainment and fun at night, bring some money because you'll probably end up at Bananarama. The beach is beautiful, the reef is amazing. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is way too cold, almost ice cold which made no sense cause it was extremely hot. I probably would not return, not worth the price.

Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort: A lovely resort

Clean, very comfortable bed and sheets. Pool clean, lots of chairs and tables. A good variety of food at the buffet and lots of fresh yummy fruit. Staff was very attentive and had great friendly attitudes.

Henry Morgan Resort: Ho Hum

Harry Morgan resort did not surprise me as I had low expectations going in. It’s a 3 star resort so food was hohum entertainment was poor rooms were nice. Maid service was just ok but for some reason they did not replenish drinkable water. Frequent power outages caused the A/C to turn off Having said all this though it was a diving holiday and the dive shop was excellent as well as the dive packages

The resort were excellent for a 3 star facility very rustic and clean. Balconies with hammocks with green views were very relaxing. Biggest complaint was that the food was not hot enough most of the time.

Henry Morgan Resort: Dollar value resort

Rooms were decent and clean. Patio door very difficult to open, toilet was not flat to floor, would rock back and forth. Door key card very finicky, would erase if in proximity of any electronic device,mobile,iPad,etc. One choice of beer for all inclusive, any other you paid for. Cheap alcohol used for mixed drinks, lacked good taste. Food was decent, lots of saucy selections . Was not too keen on spaghetti and fish or shrimp . No yogurt.
