Good

WE liked this hotel . but felt there are areas which could be improved easily. We felt the value was very good, but next time we would definitely stay on the Secrets side, regardless of extra price.The Now side did not receive the attention the Secrets side did. The biggest drawback were the kids on the Now side, poorly organized, pools.

Amazing

The food is great. You don't need to make reservations at night. The hotel and grounds are very clean. The rooms were really nice and loved they had a barhtub and a shower. There was entertainment in the lobby every night which was very enjoyable. The spa was fabulous. Great service

Fanatstic Resort!

My 80 year old mother and I had the opportunity to spend a week at the Now Amber resort recently. It was nothing short of amazing in every respect. The rooms, the food, the service, was high quality. If you looking for a place to have an awesome holiday, I would highly recommend!

Good value

Rooms are large, all have good views of the ocean, food is good, service is excellent, the beach is not the best, but the pools are well maintained. The open lobby bar is situated to allow for spectacular views of the sunset.

Great resort

I surprised my wife with an anniversary trip. Now Amber is a Beautiful hotel. The only negative is that they have a ton of pigeons. I hate pigeons. Other than that everything was top notch. Great rooms, spa, food, location, service.......

Loved it !

Little more money but everything is a level up from anything we have been to so far. Can't think of one thing to complain about. We'll be back again for sure. Best thing was the service staff and rooms with the amazing views.

Great vacation

We recently stayed at the now amber resort and what impressed me the most was the amazing service everywhere you go. The staff go out of there way to accommodate you. The property itself is beautiful and very clean and well manicured. I would recommend this property to a friend with out a doubt! The beach was rocky but there are lots of pools to pick from, the only negative aspect to the resort.

Trip was wonderful

The trip was wonderful we got a lot of rest and had a lot of fun The resort was breath taking beautiful, and having privileges next door to Secrets was also an added bonus The food was great at every restaurant we tried, no hassle reservations, even the buffet and beach party food was perfect. Pool bar service was outstanding. Fernando saw us coming over and would grab an umbrella for my husband before we even asked. It was our choice not to golf (although we dragged along our clubs with us) Golf is not all inclusive when you have a 30 min one way cab ride at 20 dollars plus, 45 dollars each per person for the golf cart, plus tip for the mandatory caddie (20 dollars per bag),plus what ever you drink We did not want the hassle or the extra expense, this time. We did expect the beach not to be perfect, on this coast of Mexico that is common. Red flag every day, but we walked the shoreline. One negative is: Right away when you arrive, a representative sits you down and tries to sell you the "beach club" time share. We are Canadian and we are polite enough to listen to her and book an appointment (that we did not keep). Really, we should have been notified in advance and been told it is okay to say NO. All week every time she saw us, she call after us, gave us dirty looks and she even call my husband by the wrong name! It just became a joke after the first few days. All in all, thanks for a good choice

NOW Amber - GO NOW

4th time at this property. The service, food and amenities keep drawing me back. Whenever you say thank you to a hotel employee, their response is "it was my pleasure" and they mean it. Hotel rooms are superb. You will really enjoy this hotel, shared with the Secret hotel next door.

Amazing Honeymoon

This was our second time at the Now Amber resort. This time our vacation was for our honeymoon and it was an amazing time! The food is amazing, the people are so warm and friendly and the hotel is just stunning and very clean.

Absolutely amazing!

This hotel was simply a dream come true. The staff was amazing and they catered to our every need. The view from the lobby was a dream and the food at all the restaurants was magnificent. We will definitely return and are planning to visit as many of the now resorts we can. I would recommend this resort to anyone. It was a perfect vacation for our family.

Beautiful Resort

This is a great resort for wedding groups. Beautiful grounds, more than enough restaurants to keep you busy (get the steak at the french restaurant, you wont be disappointed) and very spacious rooms, all ocean facing. The beach isn't amazing and when we were there there were tiny jellyfish in the water but there were lots of pools and a swim up bar to compensate.

Paradise!

Now Amber is where you go when you want sun, great food, delicious drinks, amazing service and the best kids club! We traveled in April as a family of 4, kids 3 and 8. We felt taken care of from check in to check out, and everywhere in between. We enjoyed the preferred club, pools, the beach and a variety of restaurants, all of which were delicious. Nice hotel.

I stayed here in April 2014. The rooms were beautiful and the hotel also. The food was amazing. The only thing that really sucked was you had to get downstairs and save a chair by 7am. People would do this everyday and then not even use there chair until 1:00 in the afternoon....so lame. Also the poo was very crowded and lots of kids. It is not somewhere to relax....it certainly has a party atmosphere. The service was really great at this hotel but they expect tips constantly.
