Expected more

The Hotel staff, ( dining area ) were extremely friendly, helpful, and extremely attentive with myself, but most importantly my LO one employee imparticularly would go above and beyond to always greet my son the 100 times he seen him! Thank you Frandy! The water park area was the show of the hotel for my LO, we spent most of our time there! But unfortunately nothing really got fixed as the moment the gentleman left the AC turned off an hour later, the following day inwent to reception and I was told I would get someone to check.. but unfortunately no one ever came. The room service was amazing, food was delicious. Not as much variety to choose from, but whatever was there was great.. the dining room food for dinner was extremely bland, same dinner everyday with only a few changes to give it the impression that there was different variations of food, we 100% preferred room service rather then sweating to get our food.

Decent but not great

Their hotel lobby carry’s the sound throughout the whole building. If people walk across your floor, you can hear them very clearly. If you have young kids, you might want to avoid being on the main floor as it’s quite noisy. Mosquitoes are very scary there. Not much is done to help with mosquitoes in the rooms. Beaches are ok. But it is not deep enough. Beach is pretty crowded. Their cocktails are delicious. The water park is great for kids. Overall resort atmosphere is decent.

Would not recommend

Resort is poorly managed. Food was terrible, being recycled from left overs. I actually had food poisoning from eating a calamary mini burger. Room service was terrible, bathroom sinks not cleaned, dirty face towels were left the way they were and not replaced. We had to tip the cleaning staff the next day to make sure the room was properly done. In 5 days, we must have killed at least 5 to 6 cockroaches in the room. Would never go there again.

Great Resort!

Hotel was lovely- neat, clean, well kept. However, I did pay for the Castle View but wasn't in front of the castle where I would be able to see the castle shows they had every night. It also started very late after my daughter was asleep.

Great resort and customer service

Loved the resort, the rooms are great, especially for families with children. The Buttler service is amazing, Areson was so helpful and friendly, he contributed to make our stay a great experience. The buffet and restaurants were also good, great food and the staff will accommodate your kids' needs anytime you ask them. The kids loved the water park and pool. All the staff is responsive and professional. Will be going back for sure!

Great family resort

Great food, safe water great time in the pool and lunch beside the pool. Beach was lots of fun and nice to have our own restaurant at the beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel grounds: Beautiful! Well kept, clean! However, EVERYTHING is digital. You need a phone for everything! Menus in restaurants are available only by QR code!!!! Wifi is spotty at best. Great resort - food ok

Resort grounds were great , lots to do staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I got very sick after eating at the Al la carte restaurant. We only visited the buffet after that which was fine but not overly remarkable. Overall I was disappointed with the food. The beach was very good lots of activity.

A good resort

The language is a problem here many people that work therir dont understand english,the rooms had so much problems with pluming and roaches every where. The guest servise oslavdo was a great help he helped out alot and took care of the problems. The food is the same everyday so qfter day 3 we got tried of the food. The enterainment is a bit boring as they dont do much with the guest is only with the staff and tje shows are boring as its the same dances every night. Avoid it

It is old dated property and when i google it it say it is built in 2016. Thats not true is old property and rooms are very old they jst changwd the name and built castle and new swimming pool when u google it u think it is new but it is not. Plus if u have kids be aware bcz my daughter got hand foot and mouth infection. Would not recommend

I was unhappy with my 1 week stay. It was very hard to communicate with any of the staff due to language barrier which made it very difficult. Food is very repetitive and they would run out of many things. When asked for more they would say it’s all done. The line ups for anything that was being made fresh such as pasta or eggs in the morning would take forever. I did not enjoy my stay.

Great Resort

This hotel is a wonderful place to take the children,my granddaughter loved it.The food was absolutely amazing,we mostly ate in the buffet restaurant because it had more variety than anyone could ask for,there were boiled eggs,poached eggs,scrambled eggs,eggs benedict,bacon ,ham ,sausage,french toast,real syrup,real honey from an actual honey comb.The breakfast had everything anyone could ask for,fresh made ommelets,bagels,cream cheese,etc.Lunch and supper were the same large choices,sea food ,c [... read more]rab legs,fish,shrimp,pork chops ,ribs beef,frenchfries,etc.I could go on and on,this hotel has it all,even pizza fresh made by the water park,ice cream cones all day long for the children.Pool areas were well cleaned,rooms were a little noisy,the halls with people closing doors at all hours of the night.If you have a castle view,the shows are noisy around 9:45 for about 15 minutes,if you are not in bed early it is no problem.All in all,we had a fantastic time,we would return.Also I had the spa treatment at the Esmerelda next door with Anita,it was the deep massage,it was fabulous,well worth the money,she did an amazing massage. Great resort

The resort was exceptionally clean. Food was very good and easily accessible. Lots of pools and water parks for the children. There were shows readily available for all ages of children. The beach and the excursions were well planned.

Beautiful place

I recommend this place for family with kids. They are very professional, a lot activity in the pool and at night. The food very good . The place is clean,they follow the covid protocol, they wearing mask. We are happy and we'll be back ❤

Bahia Principe Fantasia

I was very pleased with the service that the hotel staff gave me, the hotel areas were always very clean, the staff very professional. Wasted trip

My son got hand foot mouth disease and now my husband and I do too. I think that speaks for the “cleanliness” of the property which falls hand in hand with Covid safety measures that were concerning. Our room had a couple of items in the back of the drawers left by previous tenants. Cutlery in buffet was dirty on 2 occasions. Guests were getting up and serving themselves coffee with bare hands with the pitchers used by staff, if staff was delayed in serving coffee. Some drivers were assuring [... read more] each rider that got on had a mask but it was not consistent among drivers nor consistent on their own routes for each stop. The kicker: USED MASKS were floating in the pool. I appreciated the paperless Covid precautions but then for a day and a half I walked by a soiled diaper laying on the railing of the wheelchair ramp I used to bring my son on his stroller. Staff were always in masks and didn’t enter our rooms unless absolutely necessary. The actual process of the Covid testing was easy and convenient. Would not go back again. I’ve been going to punta Cana for over 10 years and this trip left a very bad taste in my mouth and I don’t know if I’ll ever be returning.

Not what I expected

Service was garbage and rude. Breakfast lunch and dinner was the same everyday. We went to the a la carte ended up going back to the buffet again. The room smelled like mildew. First time staying at the Bahia. Melia hotels ans serenis, RIU and the royalton grand memories so much better.

Beautiful resort

The resort was beautiful food was excellent everything on site was perfect except for the arrival. When we arrived at the hotel they told me they were expecting us on the 8 and not the 7 of March gave me a hard time I felt bullied by them. They gave me a room with three bed not what was on my paper since we reserved the castle front King bed. Went back down to explain this room was not what I paid for and we didn't see the castle at all. Then another man came and told me to come back the next day at two they would change my room. Went back at two no room come back at three he said came back at three still no room he says come back at 3:15 finally got a room still not what I paid we had a castle view King bed I accepted that room we felt tired of all this argument. They made the error instead of giving us a upgrade they made us fill like "shit". I told air Canada rep I'm not sure if he did something. Once this was resolve we really enjoyed all the staff on site all the activities the shows the food everything was perfect. It's a shame what we went through upon our arrival and I had Jonathan a 6 year old that was getting tired of waiting in front for our room

Nice resort

The hotel was clean , well maintained and well organized . Restaurants offered a good variety of dishes , service was excellent . Our room was nice , except for a noticeable odor ( potentially caused by dampness ) . Overall , a good experience.
