Amazing Resort!

My husband and I were just at Ocean Coral Spring for a week! It was the best vacation! The resort is absolutely beautiful! We didn't have a bad meal all week, food was amazing and so many options!! Before we left we were already planning to go back next year and bring the kids! Everything is within a close distance, lots of entertainment and stunning location & property!! Highly recommended!

Met all the expectations

I went in to this trip looking for a kids centred hotel and resort and Shannon at west jet really Delivered. This place did not disappoint. From the water park, to the lazy river, the bowling alley, movie theatre , video games and more. Food was great and staff were amazing. My 6 year old absolutely loved it.

Resort was fantastic!

Amazing resort, perfect for families…so much to do with water park, lazy river, massive pool and beautiful beach. Food was amazing and no major complaints at all. Would recommend to anyone looking to go to Jamaica on vacation.

Amezing safe resort

My husband and I stayed at OceonCoral Sring-- jamaica the week of February 6 for 7 days.Thiswase our second time at this beautiful resort. On our arrival we met Latonya at the front desk she introduced ANDRE' the manager..they're both so welcoming, helpful and professional took care of everything we needed. Some good - some bad

The hotel was nice and clean. The food was phenomenal. The beach in front of the Ocean Coral wasnt nice at all, the other side the Ocean Coral had a better beach, which we finally found out we could walk over and use the water, but couldnt sit on the beach. I have never been to a resort where there is a premium side and non premium side where the entertainment was exclusively on the premium side and that the whole resort couldnt partake in. I was very disappointed to see that I couldnt eat a [... read more]t the steakhouse either, that was for premium or ocean eden only. We found alot of the bartenders not very friendly. One bartender was extremely friendly though, Rincan, kudos to him. The resort is five stories high and the elevators were very subpar. They could only take about 2 people at a time. Room was great, housekeeping and filling of things like towels and water, was hit and miss. Big thing to point out too, the lazy river was nice, but they didnt have enough tubs and people either had to wait long, or get out early.

Housekeeping

The Ocean Coral Spring Resort was amazing & met our needs in most every way. If there was one area that could be improved on would be in Housekeeping. While they did a great job in cleaning, most days we were left with only 1 or 2 towels in the bathroom & no wash cloths. Each time we had to remind them to leave the items or ask for them if we saw their cart in the hallway.

Relaxing and Worth it

I was sceptical of the resort based on some reviews regarding the resort showing its age, but it really is a fantastic resort.Some tiles cracked and the grout needs repair, but that had no impact on how much we enjoyed our trip. The food was great and plentiful. I would have liked my fruit and vegetable options, but I think that is just a sign of the times with inflation and likely the case at many resorts now. The decor is absolutely stunning. The pools are great for young kids. We travelled with our 19 month old and she had a blast. I was also 7 months pregnant and never felt that it was a chore to walk places - it’s the perfect sized resort. The beach is rocky, but bring shoes and you’ll be fine. Our only complaint is that it is far from the airport (an hour without stops). On our way there, Sunwing was very poorly organized and it took over 2 hours to get to the hotel with stops. They provided no water and no food was available at the airport so it was a long day without anything to eat.

Amazing resort

Gorgeous, clean and spacious hotels. Ample amount of options for daytime and evening activities & amenities. Food was phenomenal. Pool great. Only thing the beach was very rocky and had large amt algae.

Don't go! Not as advertised.

Our family of 3 (parents and 1.5 year old toddler) booked this hotel with high expectations and at the recommendation of friends who visited 1.5 years ago. Unfortunately, this hotel has many issues they need to work through and seemingly has gone downhill in recent months. The resort is new (opened in 2019), but when you visit it looks like this hotel is 20 years old (apart from the lobby) and has lacked maintenance. It's shocking. Apart from the lazy river which is great, and some select [... read more] nice employees, a great massage therapist - the good ends there. Details below: 1) Service is lacking, no sense of urgency or customer service for an advertised 5* resort. This includes bar/restaurant service, room service, towel service, front desk service 2) Rooms are not maintained well. Lot's of issues with plumbing/shower leak/tiles, etc. 3) Elevators in the buildings are tiny and in disrepair! Not only are the elevators tiny and barely fit a stroller, but they only have 1 elevator for each section of the building. 4) We booked a room with a rooftop patio and hot-tub. Hot-tub does not work. Was told by a maintenance guy that all the rooftop hot-tubs broke within a short period of hotel being opened. Instead of fixing them properly, they bypassed and "jerry-rigged" the hot tubs so that you need to call maintenance if you want to use them. They come in and turn on a valve from under the tub and it fills up through the drain! Then hot water comes in as they ran the supply lines the drain and then you have to call them back a 2nd time to turn off the valve. The water then get's cold as it's just water sitting in a tub (not constant hot water coming through the jets). Finally when you are done with your cold hot tub, you need to call them back again to empty the tub. This is absolutely ridiculous to advertise that you have working hot-tubs with this being the standard operating procedure. Word to management, either fix the hot-tubs or remove them from the rooftop and reduce your pricing on the rooms! Falsely advertising working hot-tubs is not doing you any favours and more importantly it's ripping off your clients. Not to mention they are unsafe with how they are wired in a with a switch that is not grounded. 5) Lack of towels at the resort is an issue. Multiple times you go to get a towel only to be told they are out 6) Often out of beer at the bars or the beer is not cold. 7) Mini fridges in room are not cold and do not keep the beer or drinks cold. 8) Food at the restaurants is not great. The main buffet is good (Martha's Market) but beyond this, they have work to do. Service is slow, and often you cannot get a table unless you show up right when they open. 9) Choice of tile around the pool decks was a poor choice. A lot of them have broken and it's very slippery for children and older adults. I saw multiple children slip and 2 children inuure themselves slipping around the kids pool and waterpark 10) Beach is quite rocky (large jagged rocks that are in the ocean but you cannot see them until you step on them). Some nicer parts, but not great. Certainly much better beaches at other resorts are available

Great Resort!

The resort was very clean and the people were very friendly. They have bowling, a small disco, and they also have a small casino (without table games). It would be nice to have more 'a la carte' options for diverse dining, but otherwise the food was good. It would also be better if there was more entertainment outdoors as that would bring more people together and create a more lively experience.

Resort is spectacular

Grounds was well taken care of, restaurants superb, rooms were great despite the fact that some days face cloth and towels were not put in room, service was very prompt and always accommodating, beach was not the greatest lots of rocks in water, overall the resort is fabulous, shows after dinner was amazing

Very chill and relaxing resort

It is a clean and very well kept resort. Relaxing, quiet, with a beautiful sunset seen throughout the resort. Food and drinks all hours 😌 😋 Chill, hardworking and friendly staffs. If you like to enjoy things slow and to just relax I recommend this place.

Beautiful Resort!

This resort is very well maintained and the staff are very responsive to guests needs. The food was exceptionally good for all meals and there were many choices. You will always find something that you desire to eat! The drinks were very good quality with champagne available at breakfast. The music and entertainment were extremely well done and very enjoyable. It started at around 7pm (Jamaica Time) and continued until around 11pm. They covered a variety of music types including Pop, Jazz and Reggae. The night shows were also very well done. There was also a Disco for late night entertainment. There were daily activities during the day time which many guests enjoyed. The Ocean and the Beach were terrible and the worst that I have been to!! This should be corrected!! The Rooms were clean and spacious with readily available Towels as required. The swimming pools were large and well maintained. There were Bars everywhere so drinks were readily available as required. Pay special attention the Beach because many guests are complaining about this. Fix this problem if you would like to have "repeat guests" and positive recommendations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scenic Resort

The grounds are meticulously groomed and showcase the best of Jamaica's top resorts. Modern appointments in rooms with a safari feel for a very comfortable stay. Pool area is a daily draw. Tasty restaurants, evening entertainment create family-friendly or romantic atmosphere.

Amazing resort but beach needs a lot of work

Me and my husband spent two weeks here in June 2023 and the resort is beautiful and the staff are amazing. However, we were very disappointed with the beach . It was very rocky. It needs alot of TLC. We are from Toronto Ontario

Great Resort

The rooms, building and public space were clean. The grounds could be cleaner. The beach was really bad. It was just a small space to swim and it was full of rocks and weeds. The Restaurants has a good variety of food. Mike's Cafe was the best and staff were really friendly.

Amazing resort

The grounds are immaculate, rooms are so clean I didn’t need to clean before I lie down .the food was great lots of options…I would suggest upgrading to privilege you won’t regret, tons of activities and endless excursions..definitely going back.

Nice family resort

Everything was great, food, pool, kids area, rooms, restaurants. My only complaint; and for me, is a big one...and the only reason why I wouldn't go back to this resort is...the beach is absolutely horrible. it was a family trip, my wife and two kids (4 and 9) we went to the beach the first day and couldn't even walk more than a few feet into the water, the beach was literally all rocks, nowhere to swim, so we were forced to spend every day at the crowded pool. Ocean coral spring

Rooms: nice a little rundown (considering it's a new resort). Service very inconsistent. Short on towels and washcloths. Had to keep on asking to get new ones. The room refrigerator is useless. Doesn't even get cold, the red stripes in the fridge were too warm to drink. Hotel grounds: nice, some renovations going on now. Restaurants: OK, the restaurants and bars kept on running out of food items and alcoholic beverages. Always ran out of shrimp, chicken wings, mangos, bananas, drinking mixin [... read more]g ingredients etc. Beach: HORRIBLE, not swimmable at all. Very rocky, water shoes are a must! You can take a 5 minute drive to a public beach called 876 Beach, it's amazing. There is a fee to enter. Amenities: 1) lazy river-awesome 2) water park - amazing for kids 3) bowling alley - lots of fun 4) Daisy club- not too many activities inside, the outdoor playground really nice, but needs more shade because the slides heat up to the point that they are unusable. 5) teen club- not that many activities available besides pool and tv's to play video games.

A Dream Come True

My son and I truly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Coral Spring. I surprised him with his first resort/plane trip for his 14th birthday. It was really important for me to feel safe knowing I was a single female travelling alone with my son and they did not disappoint. They were strategic with the room they placed me in, lower level, well light area, direct path to my room. The teen room was my sons favourite, with activities geared to his age (video games console, pool table). The food was sooooo delicious and various options. The ‘a la carte’ was a wonderful experience and easy to reserve online. There was plenty of activities throughout the day and night. We didn’t spend much time at the beach in itself because the pool itself was entertaining and with music, the bar (serves non-alcoholic drinks as well) and planned activities (pool volley ball, aerobics, dance lessons etc). Night activities were also plentiful and varied for adults and children. I don’t normally write reviews but reading reviews helped me choose this resort, so I figured I would pay it back. I am so excited to continue my travel experience with many more! P.S. It’s about a 30-40 mins drive from the airport.
