Riu Palace Aruba: very nice resort

This was our 2nd visit to Aruba and at the Riu Palace. As usual, Aruba is a beautiful place to visit. The Riu hotel is also great, however it is starting to show signs that it is a little dated. Hotel wait staff are great and always friendly. Stay away from the hotel manager as he was not very helpful to us as we had an incident at the hotel with our daughter during our stay. He showed little care and compassion for the unfortunate situation that occured while we were dining in one of the hotel  [... read more]restaurants. Aside from that, Aruba is a wonderful island to visit and we cant wait to go back. However, because of our experience, I dont think we will return to the Riu Aruba.

Holiday Inn Resort Aruba: holiday inn aruba

nice holiday but poor food choices at the time under renovations excellent weather all year round , our room was very nice and clean, resort was close to shopping and dinning manny choices . Price was a bit high for the standard of holiday inn i was expecting.

Holiday Inn Resort Aruba: Extremely good value for money

The only downside for this place is a lot of kids (if you are looking for the quiet place). But frankly you will find a lot of people everywhere. Rooms are quiet, no noise. Location is perfect. Beach is excellent

Barcelo Aruba: ok resort

Beaches beautiful, food so so.. check in very slow, had to wait for the room for few hours and nobody really could do anything to speed up the process because it was.. Saturday! Who knew, Saturday is not their best day to do the business. Ocean view room that we paid extra for was not that much of the ocean view unless we looked on the side.. rather the pool view. Would I go back there? Yes, only because I love Aruba and their beaches, restaurant and shopping..

Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort: The Mill resort

Grounds and pool area were cleaned daily 1st thing itn the morning, staff were very polite and nice. The room were great, cleaned everyday, spacious, everything we need, the only thing I could memtion was that the TV was on the small size. Front desk was slow and there was a mix up in how many beds were need but they fixed it right away.Looking back I was so glad that I pick a small friendly resort across the St from the ocean, it was so much more personal and the service was excellent. Riu Palace Aruba: Relaxing time

Beautiful place, lots of restaurants and bars. Freddie in the main lobby bar is a fantastic ambassador for the Riu brand. Outside the resort is very secure and safe to walk about. The islanders are very friendly, so it made for a very relaxing trip. The older side of the resort could us some upgrading to the rooms and this to me was the only downside of our stay.

Holiday Inn Resort Aruba: Nice Resort

The resort was clean and big enough. The restaurants were good. For a Holliday Inn it was a place I would recommend. Good location. At night in the outside restaurant they had music which was enjoyable. The bar by the pool was good for snacks and lunch.

Tamarijn Beach Resort: Best family resort in Aruba!

Such a lovely place to stay whether it be as a family or couple. The food is great and the rooms all look onto the ocean. The Tamarijn is located on one of the best beaches in Aruba! My family have stayed many times and will go back again.

Barcelo Aruba: Honeymoon Heaven

When we first got to the hotel they had a daily paper that announced us as newlyweds and congratulated us. The staff was friendly and engaging. The food was varied and delicious. The activities were varied. The possible problem with the resort can only be considered the lack of chairs on the beach and the need to rent those extra chairs that are available.

Riu Palace Aruba: RIU Aruba

RIU Aruba features: a gorgeous beach with white sand and turquoise water. Delicious meals with a lot of variety. Clean rooms and public areas. Huge pool with lots of chairs and shade. The resort lacks nightly entertainment.

Barcelo Aruba: Comfortable Resort

My husband and I stayed at the Occidental Grand Aruba, October 2013. This was not our first trip to Aruba. Check In was good, there were no issues. We paid the extra money and upgraded to an "ocean view" room. Well there is a difference between "ocean view" and "ocean front" if I had know this I would not have paid the extra money. We were located at the side of the building. If we went onto our balcony we could see the ocean. I was disappointed in this. Our room was clean and comfortable. The o [... read more]nly issue was that the sliding patio door was foggy. The seal had broken in between the panes and it looked dirty. The buffet was good for breakfast and lunch. Nothing spectacular, but you could always find something to eat. We had three a la carte dinners and we also went out two nights, so we only at dinner at the buffet once. It was Mexican night and I was disappointed. We went to the Casino and had fun. The group of people that were there the same week we were made the nights fun. The Casino host was also a hoot. This Hotel is perfectly located and the beach is amazing. They also offered floats for the ocean. You just had to sign them out. No deposit, which was nice. This hotel is not luxury, but is comfortable. We would definitely go back.

Riu Palace Aruba: I Think I Went To Heaven.

The RIU Palace Aruba Is One Of The Most Beautiful Resort We Have Ever Stayed At. Aruba Is One Of The Safest Islands To Visit. And Has The Cleanest Water In The World.We brought Our 8 Month Old Grandson With Us And Found The Walkways At The Back Of Resorts Were Perfect For Stroller walks.In Front Of The Resort Is All Kinds Of Restaurants And Shops.

Riu Palace Aruba: Pleasant Stay

Hotel is in a good location right on a nice sandy beach. Food and service was very good all the staff were very pleasant. It was easy to get into town as the local bus stopped outside the hotel and cost about $2. Car rentals were expensive from the hotel so go down the road to Budget much cheaper. There were always plenty of lounge chairs for the pool or beach.
