Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Our favourite place

This was our sixth visit to Iberostar Paraiso Lindo. We are a 3- generation family of 6 (ages 8-62) who have been going annually in November. At first, we chose the resort due to the onsite golf course. The kids club (Star Camp) is amazing. My children, who have been making the trip since they were toddlers, are greeted back every year with full recognition from the year before. The exercise facility is great. The food is wonderful. The staff are friendly. The grounds are well kept. Can’t wait to go back next year!!

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Not a 4.5 star resort.

This resort needs to tell people that it is under renovation and definitely not ready for a good review or rating. Our problems started on arrival when we informed that the room we had requested was not available until the next day. OK but the room we were given was near the pool and noisy. Why on earth do some of these resorts seem to think everyone staying with them want to listen to music blaring over the PA system all day. Our second room was nice. For most of our stay the main bar abo [... read more]ve the pool was closed for renovations as was the Brazilian restaurant, the sushi place was also closed for a period. Kids mini golf closed. No hot water for one day. Cigarette butts on our balcony for two days after we changed rooms (we are non smokers). Had to make a complaint to get them cleaned up. So all-in-all we did not think this resort warrants its 4.5 star rating. Many people staying at the same time we were said they would not stay again and that included a couple who have been going to the resort for years

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Stunningly beautiful both day and night

Not too big and not too small, this resort offered a wide variety of options for your every mood. There are three pools to choose from, all with varying degrees of activity. There was lots to do if you felt like participating or you could easily find a quiet spot. The beach was spectacular although not private. There are always people coming and going to snorkel and/or simply enjoy the sand. It was not something that bothered us. It was well stocked each day with both drinks and snacks. The food was great and there were so may dining options that we didn't get a chance to try all the restaurants. I guess we'll have to go back :)

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: I love this resort !

The choices of food is amazing. All is very delicious. The service always comes with a smile . Transportation to the other hotels and the beach or the shopping area is excellent. And most of all, there are coral reefs and lot's of beautiful fishes right at the beach.

Grand Riviera Princess: Large Resort - but well laid out.

Where to start? upon arrival we where dropped off at the wrong reception area. Not the resorts fault but check into Platinum ended up taking 1.5 hrs. It happens. 3rd floor room Riviera Platinum side was quite good, spacious, great balcony, hot water, housekeeping, amenities all on point. Fridge not very cold but oh well. Beach rocky until you get in the water 30ft. or so. You can snorkel but there is nothing to see. Beach food was great. try the jerk chicken! A-la-cartes are absolutely the way to go. All were fantastic! Went to main buffet twice, if you do try to go early or late or it's crowded with the usual buffet folks. Some pushy & all elbows. Again no fault of the resort. Pools had lots of room although we weren't in them much. Everything was very well maintained on the grounds. Shops were good but take the shuttle to Playa if you want to save some $. Vendors in the plaza every thurs. eve. They were not to pushy and have a good selection of handmade stuff. Platinum wristbands didn't help much in common areas, tip, tip,tip! Who made this memorable? The people in the platinum lounge. (Concierge) Pablo! saw him deal with a few situations showing tact and courtesy. (Servers) Becky & Veronica, the best! Bernie! 41/2 ft. of word class shuttle driver!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Amazing Resort

This resort was everything we were expecting plus more. The grounds were well kept our room was cleaned daily, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was awesome. I would go back definitely.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Love this resort!

Last minute booking through Trip Central with Eileen made it so simple and pleasurable. All information required was emailed on time with A1 service. The Luxury Bahia Príncipe Sian Ka'nn remains my favourite place to go. Amazing service, beautiful site, wonderful a la carte restaurants, great beach and pools, people are so friendly. Planning to go back real soon. Thank you Trip Central for looking after us!

Catalonia Yucatan: Pleasantly surprised!

Having read the reviews, my expectations were not high but this was a trip that we won so we set them aside. I am glad that we did. The resort's location within Puerto Aventura is great. We could walk, bicycle and visit outside the resort without feeling confined to one place. The marina and aquarium are impressive and the dolphins and sea lions (I think that's what they are) steal the show. The food was excellent and the staff extremely helpful and polite. Public washrooms were clean. Although  [... read more]our rooms were older, we had a great view of the ocean. If I was to return, I would enquire into a possible upgrade to the room as ours was basic (just water in the bar fridge, no kleenex, no room service) and a few other small things that escape me. There were lots of tiki huts and lots of chairs for everyone. The folks who are trying to sell you a non time-share package were somewhat aggressive, so unless you travel a lot to different places and different resorts, I would recommend staying away from them. Other than the above, we left Mexico relaxed, rested, well fed and well watered!

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Amazing Dreams Riviera cancun resort and spa

Great place to spend some quality time here with your family. Courteous staff always willing to assist. Lots of activities and restaurants to visit within this all inclusive resort Also loved speed boating and snorkeling excursions outside the resort. Always pack some extra time when you come to this resort.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Family fun!

Three Eco Superior room we had was clean and an excellent size for 2 LO's and 2 adults. The resort has many enjoyable walking paths through the forest, to multiple Cenotes or by animals -both captive and wild! Our LO's are baby and 4 yo and both had fun -the kids club was great fit the 4yo. Lots to offer a family at this place. The Beach is rocky but can be explored. All in all a nice resort that doesn't pride itself on being fancy but does deliver all fun and amenities.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Stunning resort

A beautiful resort. Spacious rooms, over the top buffet and friendly service. The buffet was the best I have ever seen on vacation. Each meal lacked nothing. For late risers there was a smaller breakfast buffet at the steak house by the pool. Concierge service was available for every so many rooms and they attended to all your needs. Wonderful evening entertainment and plenty of bars. Even the small local wildlife were very friendly. Beautiful beach and warm water.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantastic service

The staff around the resort are wonderful...you cannot ask for better service. Their online app for booking restaurants & concierge service was a time saver & requests promptly handled. Restaurant that are must to go to are Mashua & Le Gourmet

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Nice resort

Nice modern resort Easy to get around for people with mobility issues.. Loved the swim up room..even had bar service to the pool at our room.. Very clean resort.. staff very friendly ...maid service very good.. Fun outside bar area for a night time gathering place.. Beach not so nice ..lots of rocks and the seaweed is an issue ..this is not a hotel problem but mother nature.. The workers worked very hard at removing the seaweed.. but an endless job! Food is ok .. lots of choices..

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: EXCELLENT

Just returned from another fantastic week at Sian Ka'an! This resort gives you the best of both worlds - guest at the Sian Ka'an have access to all 4 resorts in this Bahia compound, beautiful beaches and so many a-la-cartes that you can't get to them all in 1 stay! On the other hand, the Sian Ka'an itself is quite small, so never any line ups or crowds (or children ;). We can't say enough good things about this place... but the food... omg! We were chatting with someone last week that told us that the food per head budget at the Sian Ka'an is the highest of any of the other resorts on the compound and it certainly shows! Everything is fresh and replenished often... and doesn't have your typical 'buffet-taste'! Staff are great and attentive... and always try to accommodate every request. As far as the Air Transat portion of this review - it was also good. We travelled on their large AirBus and it is quite comfortable... and the flight crew were great, very friendly! Flights were on time and transfers to and from the resort were easy. EXCELLENT is the only word to describe this vacation!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful resort!

Hotel was beautiful, lovely landscaping with lots of greenery. Staff was wonderful, always willing to help. There was lots to do. Restaurants were also great, however it was hard to make a reservation.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort

Everything was great! Buffet and Food was excellent. Pool area was excellent including kids playground. Room service is excellent. Clean everywhere!!! Friendly and helpful stuff. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Kevin from Trip Central for helping this vacation dream come true!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Excellent resort))

Nice hotel as for couples and for families with small kids. The Best from this hotel is delicious food in main restaurant! Seafood , Italian cuisine were our choice each day! Beach was not so bad , sandy and clear water! Not much rocks at the coast. I would come back to this hotel again. Maybe next time will try Akumal hotel , that located near))

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great

The resort was very nice. Great service. We were upgraded from a superior room to a junior suite. Great variety of food at buffet. Lots of entertainment in the evening. Many things to do within the resort. Eg; dolphin show daily, market for shopping, sports bar, eco park in the jungle with tour guide. Don't need to leave the resort. I would recommend this resort.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: LOVED everything about this resort.

I have been looking for a long time a quite resort with a great beach location + good food = this is IT. Pros : - excellent beach to swim & snorkel, saw a lot of fish & turtles almost everyday. - staff super friendly genuine _ impressive kindness - food excellent , alot of choice and super fresh - animation at night was small bands playing in the lobby. Not overbearing discos. Excellent musicians. - this resort is excellent for quite friends or couples. NOT a party place at all. Y [... read more]ou can listen to the sound of the ocean all day , (not annoying tourists trying to party, too often seen in resorts). Which is why I would return in a heart beat. - rooms super nice + clean - small enough resort, all rooms have a view on the ocean. You dont have to walk miles between areas. - free Wifi everywhere Cons: - we found the walls rather thin, could hear our neighbours sides or top. So we upgraded to the penthouse , wow !! was worth the money. We are rather picky for sound. Some people thought the rooms were fine in terms of soundproofing. Depends how sensitive you are. - 1h30 min from Cancun airport Overall AMAZING resort for its value. No wonder this place is booked months in advance, has a large amount of returning customers, loyal to this quite relaxing wonderful resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great beach, staff and lots to do. Rooms were older

The beach was great. Staff was fantastic. Tons of places to eat, all good food. Lots of different things to do at this resort. Having the casino and all the live entertainment was fun. Rooms were older, smelt a bit musty. Overall good value for the cost
