Tryp Cayo Coco: Needs TLC

Staff were great and helpful with many speaking English. However, the resort is looking tired and they really need to fix the lower pond. The smell is overwhelming, and a mosquito breeding ground. They have started to fix the sidewalks along the East side of they complex, which is nice. The beach is amazing and crystal clear.

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Memories Trinidad Del Mar on Playa Ancon

This hotel is situated on a very lengthy stretch of sandy beach, much of which is still undeveloped and bordered only with tropical vegetation. The beach is well suited to swimming and long walks. The hotel grounds are attractive, with palm trees and pretty gardens. A tower beside the restaurant offers panoramic views of the Ancon Peninsula and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Food at the buffet restaurant was plentiful and staff were careful about hygiene. At times, the supply of plates a [... read more]nd glasses and spoons did not seem to be adequate to meet the demand. The city of Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is accessible by means of a double-decker tourist bus that travels between the hotel and the city four times daily. The bus journey takes approximately 30 min and a return ticket costs $5 EUR. Trinidad offers colourful colonial architecture, cobbled streets traversed by vintage cars and horse-drawn carts and wagons, a variety of small museums, artisans' shops, and street entertainers. The Sierra Escambray mountains are visible from the Memories Trinidad Del Mar resort and hiking tours can be arranged to explore the national park and waterfalls. The Memories Trinidad Del Mar resort would suit a traveller who wants to combine beach activities in a peaceful setting with nearby historical and cultural attractions and nature appreciation.

Melia Cayo Coco: The perfect winter getaway

As seniors, we look for destinations with a long, sandy beach and crystal clear water. The Melia Cayo Coco has both. There are lots of beach chairs and palapas, so that even though the resort appeared to be fully booked, there were always chairs available. The grounds are very well maintained, with a group of gardeners working diligently every day. Our accommodation was adequate and perfectly clean. Cleanliness seemed to be an important factor throughout the resort. While we read some c [... read more]ritiques citing a shortage of vegetables at the restaurants, we found a salad bar at the buffet restaurant every day as well as one or two vegetables. There was a selection of 3 kinds of fish as well as some meat. The fish was delicious, while the meat is not what we are used to. What we liked best about the resort were the people. Everyone was so kind, happy and appeared to like their job. It was a pleasure to be around them. And now one negative: The Wi-Fi has some limitations: Microsoft Office Outlook would not connect (no email), neither would Zoom, but Netflix worked.

Playa Luxury Cayo Las Brujas: Cuba's Gem

Relaxing, calm Zen style resort for people looking for a quiet stress free holiday. Our ocean view room was beautiful. The 1 large and 2 small beaches were stunning and kept very clean. Seaweed is a current problem throughout the Caribbean but less so in Cuba and the Angsana keeps their beaches incredibly well. The grounds are lush, well manicured and full of colorful flowers, perfect for walks day or night. Pools are large, clean and perfectly maintained, not 1 leaf in them.The food was surpri [... read more]singly better than any Cuban resort we've been to. Plentiful and fresh and the a la cartes had some very good choices. A 24 hr. snack bar that includes a la carte breakfasts is a real bonus for late or early arriving travellers. The 24 hr lounge is also good - drinks are generous and variety is great. There is no big entertainment centre here, just local talent in the lounge in the evenings but again this is a small intimate resort not catering to a party atmosphere. The best part of Angsana is the staff - the best, happiest, eager-to-please group I've ever encountered throughout the many Caribbean resorts we've travelled to.

Melia Internacional: Amazing experience

The rooms are big and we got upgraded to a beach viewed room after we experienced with no hot water for shower for two days. We complained to the customer service. They apologized and upgrade us to better rooms afterwards. The food/restaurant choices were not a lot but it’s sufficient and tasty. The unlimited alcohol is great. The pool/beach are great. The sand are very smooth with great water activities. They need to provide customer with clear direction of the resort, maybe a bro [... read more]chure with all the information of the resort. The Japanese restaurant definitely need an improvement of the menu as it’s not at expectation. The customer service staff also needs to improve their communication skills and English as it’s was very difficult to communicate with them.

Playa Pesquero: Relaxing.

It was spacious. The beach was great, the staff were helpful, cheerful and accommodating. The food was not amazing but it’s Cuba….We had a fantastic time. Very calm and relaxing vacation. I would recommend.

Playa Pesquero: Wonderful time at Playa Pesquera!

The hotel and grounds were wonderful! The rooms were very clean and the service by the staff was top notch. The rooms were cleaned and water was in the fridge by mid morning. I cant thank the staff enough for the wonderful warm welcome we had. Food was plentiful, some differences in what was available from previous years, but as usual the buffet restaurant had lots to choose from.

Playa Pesquero: Beautiful beach.

Big resort with lots of beautiful beach and amazing turquoise/blue water. For the most part the staff was very pleasant except a couple of the front desk personnel. Seem to do the bare minimum when it comes to providing assistance to people staying there. Due to shortages there were some things that weren't available like lobster, cola, peppers etc... and very limited vegetables offered. All in all a great experience only shadowed by unhelpful front desk staff.

Gran Muthu Imperial: Great New Resort

Hello , the resort is quite new and location is good as well , close to playa pilar beach , delphinario , stafd if friendly , water activites like sailing and other boat activites are free , also theres a spa , small market , bowling alley and disco . The only thing is you need beach shoes for swimming as there a rocks on the shore, alternatively you can goto cayo guillermo beach and also the occupancy was low during our stay - so not much of entertainment happening while we were there . Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Nice place to spend a week or. more.

Beautiful grounds, well maintained, clean. the beach is perfect. The staff is polite and friendly. Rooms are comfortable but need some maintenance. The food is variable and well presented, always fresh. The service is well organized.

Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Great resort

Everything is great in that resort. It’s brand new one with great layout and design is 21 century in all details. It’s about 1 hour from airport and if you enjoy Cuban beaches this will be right for you. Coral level bit more advance.

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Great hotel to rest

In general the hotel is well kept and clean. The team of pros that work there really make the difference. I would like thank the kitchen staff chef Mauricio, chef Ajo, chef Leo and the rest of them working behind the scene. Food was well prepared and cooked with the cuban flavors. Playa Costa Verde: Good for the price

The resort is very homey, cozy, clean and staff are super nice and friendly. I’m a repeated customer and like this resort very much. But there is a huge difference compared to last year. Many things are lacking, food is very poor, this time there was no fish in a restaurant/ buffet. I guess it’s not a fault of hotel management but rather the outcome of current economic situation in Cuba. We were not hungry of course but tired from the same daily menu. Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Things are DETEORATING - Rapidly

I am a many years VETERAN of Amigo Atlantico, most of the winters - I visit 2 times, with last 2 years - obviously NOT :-( I LOVE your Attitude towards Covid PLANdemic - NOTHING Mentioned! :-) But - RESORT Situation is worse than ever: NO SHOWS, NO VINO, lousy Food (I liked Soups & Salads only & ADORED Yogourt in the morning) and terrible Bread, NO SEA Food, almost NEVER a Fish during 11 days :-( ROOM and grounds are OK... Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Excellent Smaller Resort

Melia is a smaller hotel which means less walking but with lots of amenities. Restaurants were excellent with lots of choices and great service. Beds were comfortable and maid service kept the rooms well stocked and clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Every time we return to Melia Cayo Santa Maria, it’s like coming home! We highly recommend this hotel!

Memories Jibacoa: Memories Jibacoa vacation

Amazing place for snorkelling from beach. Definitely will come again. Nice small resort for adults who don’t enjoy big crowds. Nice and clean. Only negative would be limited offer of drinks - no mojito or pina colada.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Excelente Resort

Rui and Maria Portuguese from Guelph ON. We just got back from our first visit to Cuba and we’re extremely impressed with this beautiful resort.Clean and bright with modern decor. Not to big that everything it’s easy to get to.Food was fairly good not massive buffets but big variety.The entertainment stuff go above and beyond they’re on the beach in the morning and on the afternoon on the pool trying their best always.

I love hotel and kid’s club and staff was very nice people and take care my kids a lot and both have fun and food was not bad and beach was very nice service was excellent I am recommended for family
