JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Amazing Resort

We were a group of 7 and all of us were 100% happy with Iberostar Grand. The rooms were large and really comfortable. The maid service was quick and always left me a happy note as well as chilled champagne and a roses bubble bath. Our butler jesus was always checking on us asking how we were and if needed anything. The food was delicous! The lounge service was top line. Any drink you wanted with top of the line liquor. With popcorn! They would set them up and the chef would bring people dishes of paella.Umberto and Alberto who worked the pool bar always remembered what your drink preference was and even concocted a new drink for us called a Dirty Canadain in Mexico.We even order lemon drop shots at the swim up bar. What fun. We loved the entertainment , service, food and the customer service. Not one complaint from any of us. We all plan on going again. Worth every penny. Thanks Iberostar!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great Time

Overall a good resort. Stayed in building 5....best one in my opinion (close to the beach, close to beach bar and close to Jaal-Ha Restaurant....waiter Augustine was the best and treated us like gold) Rooms were clean and decorated nicely. Maid service was perfect .....with a new towel animal every day. Beach had some seaweed but was raked and cleaned up every day. As for the a la carte restaurants tried the Italian (very good), Steakhouse (very good food....waiter a little unconcerned/un [... read more]friendly) Mexican (good) Buffet restaurants were good....plenty of choices for everyone. Construction going on at 1 pool....didn't bother us....maybe if you were in building 4 it may have (supposed to be finished mid Dec 2018). Entertainment nightly at Black and White Sports Bar was great.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Thoroughly enjoyed the resort...very nice

Loved the whole area, restaurants were great. A bit of trouble with room service ie cleaning but we worked it out. Lovely rooms . A bit of confursion getting on our ride to the hotel but it was very busy so was expected. All in all had a great time

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing resort

Really liked the ambiance in here, had a good time to relax! This place is highly recommended for our family and friends, food was amazing and service is top notch. the only drawback is the people from timeshare being too pushy, other than that it was amazing

Barcelo Maya Grand Resort: Resort that has it all. Except.

Great facilities and location. Beach is spacious with lots of white sand, but water shoes is useful due to the coral. Lots of available chairs to relax in. Food is great with lots of variety, but does not cater very well to Gluten Free, as they simply said "everything has gluten" not very helpful, and did not seem to care except in the Japanese Restaurant. Not a very friendly resort as there was little socializing due to no musical attractions in the lobbies except for the Piano player who wo [... read more]uld play every second night for a short time. Had a hard time getting our room cleaned, as they missed doing it for 2 days, and had to ask them to do it on a third day after 4 pm. For us I thought this was going to be "Our" resort, but we would no go back to our needs of allergies and not a friendly resort.

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Now Sapphire Riveria

I found the resort very comfortable and accommodating. The grounds were maticulously kept. The staff were most welcoming and friendly; attending to all of our requests. A beautiful holiday. The beach areas require some attending. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: perfect resort---fully pampered

we went to this resort Nov 16-23 2018..we expected a nice beach , good service and decent food...Wow ! they surpassed all our expectations...Alex & Vera the butlers provided excellent service...you asked you received..Their ala carte restaurants were world class...The staff everywhere were accommodating and friendly...We could not ask for better WE WILL BE BACK

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: A Great Time

This resort really cares about you and do their best to ensure you have every comfort offered. The rooms are clean. The scent menu nice and I appreciated the pillow menu. We had 2 fantastic butlers named Alex and Vera who were amazingly helpful. The grounds are gorgeous. The beaches are clean with a towel and drink service. The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing Family Vacation

My husband and I went to this resort for a week with our 5 month old son as well as my brother in law, sister in law and their 9 month old daughter. We were nervous about taking the babies to Mexico but had no reason to be thanks to this resort. Besides being very accommodating to families the resort was beautiful, food was amazing and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was set up with a crib, baby bath and bottle sterilizer. We tried every restaurant and enjoyed each one, all of our servers were incredible and the food was delicious. Couldn’t find a thing to complain about. Would definitely go back to this resort even if we weren’t bringing the kids.

El Dorado Casitas Royale: Fantastic Getaway!

The Casitas were private and quiet with dedicated pools. Individual bartenders that got to know you and your preferences. Excellent choice if you want to recuperate from the daily rigours. The good: The food and liquor is well above the average resort food. Pools are clean and we'll maintained. Fuentes Culinary Theatre is worth doing more than once, but is a 2+ hour dinner. There are usually enough beach beds to go around in the Casitas section. If you want one a a main pool, the [... read more]y are usually available at 8 am. The not so good: Even in off season, most restaurants have a short wait (20 minutes or so) to get a table at lunch and longer at dinner. Reservations are not supposed to be required, but are highly suggested if you want a specific one. In 4 orders of room service between us and a group of friends, 2 orders were accurate. Two were incorrect in what was ordered vs delivered. The Casitas are slightly out of the way from the main pools and restaurants. Shuttles mostly take care of this. Other notes: As a general reminder, bring a reusable straw with you to the resort. Most are trying to cut down on single use plastics.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Amazing resort!!!

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso! This was our 4th visit and it never fails to impress. The food and the service was over the top! The facility is stunning and well kept. The entertainment is subtle but suitable to the feel and style of this resort. Highly recommend this resort for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Entertaining and great food!

The resort was a good size, with an amazing mix of things to do for singles, families, and kids. The food was a highlight, as was the pools. Service speed was slow and the beach was rocky, but still enjoyable.

Grand Riviera Princess: Perfect 👌

Great resort, very clean and well kept grounds. Beautiful scenery! My kids loved all the wildlife on the resort. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and miss being there! The Gibson family

Grand Riviera Princess: Beautiful resort But

The property is gorgeous. The buildings and landscaping design are one of the nicest I’ve been to. However this is quite difficult to enjoy as they allow smoking EVERYWHERE. (Except restaurants). Beach, pool side, hallways, even on our balcony in nonsmoking area all we could smell of smoke from cigars and cigarettes. The service was perfect, zero complaints about the staff. The food at all restaurants was good. The buffets were the same everyday, uneventful and just ok.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great food but rocky beaches!

The resort is 2 years old but looks much older the decor of the rooms are really nice but it seems like rooms are falling apart, cracked and broken furniture, leaking ceilings also rooms were very humid the resort itself is beautiful, restaurants are nice beaches were very rocky which was a disapointment service is great though and food was wonderful!

service is wonderful and the food was great the rooms were way too humid and this was a huge downside to our trip the beach was decent if you stay on one side, if you go towards the left side, beach is terrible, full of sharp corals

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Review

Rooms were very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful with answering questions and fulfilling requests. Food was very good with wide variety with buffet for breakfast and lunch and a la carte dinners Beach and atmosphere on the grounds were beautiful.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Good Family Resort

Overall a nice resort, but there were a few issues. Rooms: no slippers or robes, air conditioner needed repair, some in our party did not get turn down service Food: buffet food was ok, but not great; food at the Mexican restaurant was terrible; the gourmet restaurant was nice Beach: beach area was nice in front of the property, but completely neglected off the property; one section of the beach seemed to be a dump for excess sand, seaweed, and other debris. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Will return

Very good resort with some very friendly and helpful staff. Be aware of the adjoining rooms as this can get quite noisy. One night we had our sleep disturbed by very loud TV. Massage with Victor was first-rate. While most staff were excellent, as with most Caribbean resorts there our staff who could care less. But it’s not easy dealing with some tourists. Barcelo Maya Caribe: Terrific resort

it was my first time in the Riviera Maya area and I can t thank enough Karol for recommending me that resort. The lobby s of all associated hotels are just incredible to look at and the upkeep of all the grounds are amazing.The beach are clean and you never get bothered by vendors all over the beach try to sell you things.The choice of all the a la carte restaurant are great and easy to book as well. You can go to the concierge office and book 2 or 3 days ahead with absolutely no issues.The buff [... read more]et are out of this world.The choices that you have for meats, pastas or if you are a vegetarian are out of this world.They even have all day the choice of having i believe they are call mimosa ( champagne/bubbly with orange juice) all day.The decor of each hotel are terrific and when you walk around at night time, well ! it takes on a total amazing experience with all the water pools and fontaines , it is just incredible.
