Club Kawama: Beautiful grounds

Hotel has beautiful grounds with old trees.is at walking distance from shops and restaurants. Proximity to the beach is great. Bed comfortàble. However the STAFF AT RECEPTION WERE UNWELCOMING : reluctant to change your room if you have no lights or hot water. They were also unwilling/incapable to give you basic information about where things are, when will the airport bus come, etc. Other staff (maids, servers at restaurant, gardeners) were great, much much friendlier and helpful.

Muthu Playa Varadero: Excellent Resort

An excellent resort. Very friendly staff. Beautiful beaches. Food was best we have so far in Cuba. Would return. All our interactions with staff were so pleasant. The resort offered a Cuban Party with grilled lobster Amazing !!

Villa Tortuga: Beautiful resort!

Beautiful and clean resort! The people of the resort were very nice and willing to help at any time. We really enjoyed our stay there. The only negative point: the food. But we understand that it was a difficult time for Cuba then.

Hotel Blau Las Morlas Varadero Beach: Belle expérience

J'ai adoré mon séjour à l'hôtel, Las Morlas. L'équipe était dévoués et souriant. À tous les soirs il y a eu des activités, mention spécial au spectacle de magique totalement fantastique. La chambre d'hôtel était propre, les matelas étaient neufs. Accès à un frigo et un coffre fort. Les femmes de ménages très bonne et discrète, aucune crainte à avoir. Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: Just ok

I would say this resort was just ok. Of course the staff were amazing. The beach was ok. Entertainment was minimal, very disappointing. Food was okay. Location is out of the way and far from anything. We did the Jeep safari and thought that was well done. The lobster dinner and sunset cruise was excellent. Highly recommend. The bugs were horrible. I came home plastered in bug bites.

Hotel Los Cactus: A Gem!

This is my third trip here. The beach is lovely. The resort is spotless. The food is good. The Chef will make you a special meal, like 'Cordon Blue'. And the people are truly wonderful. I have been to Cuba at least 20 times and I will keep going back.

Memories Cayo Largo: Good resort!

The hotel has nice grounds, good rooms and decent food. My room didn't have hot water, but my friend's room was fine, so I guess it depends where you stay. I liked the entertainment in the evening, although a nice addition would be a schedule of the shows for each day of the week and schedule of the activities by the pool. The beach is very good, and I liked that in windy weather I could escape to the Playa Sirena.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: The Perfect Holiday

My husband and I just returned from this beautiful resort not only feeling relaxed but sad we had to leave. This was our second visit to the Royalton Hicacos. We could not have had a more wonderful time. Cuba has most definitely won our hearts. Anyone who visits Cuba falls in love with the clear turquoise water and white sandy beaches, and Royalton's beach is Exceptionally spacious and immaculate. Daniel and Leonis were always available and work so tirelessly to serve everyone's need. I was touched by both their attentiveness and kindness. Every afternoon we headed back to the pool for party games and the weekly foam party; which always was so much fun! We met great people from all over the world at the swim-up pool bar, Ari and Omar "at the pool bar" need a special shout out for always welcoming us with a smile. (As there were sometimes many many of us!) Royalton’s buffet always offered a variety of items and smiles; the only issue we had with the food was we often ate too much of it. I'm certain even the pickiest of eaters can find something, However, you may not see Michelin stars or every thing you're used to but remember where you are. It's the best of their best. Everything was Excellent and always plenty of it. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of talented musicians that performed in the evenings at the Lobby Bar and A-La-Carte restaurants. They were also often accommodating to our group allowing us to join in the fun. Nightly the Lobby Bar was our favourite place to be. Iced coffee in the mornings and Spanish coffee at night. Try a mulata. Sangria is also a lovely change. We owe many thanks and praise to the lobby bar staff, including, but not limited to, Eduardo, Yenifer & Cheily but the entire team are outstanding and kind. This time, I actually made it out to Yoga in the garden. It's held in the shaded gardens daily and is a beautiful way to start your morning with some meditation and stretching afterwards on the beach. Stephanie Olive of NRG2GO was an especially competent and knowledgable yoga instructor; she made easy enjoyable and fun! Stephanie was always available to assist, adjust and answer any questions we had. NRG2GO and it's instructors definitely add an extra bonus to the Hicacos resort. Once again we enjoyed a Cuban Rum couples massage in the resort spa, and it was as always fantastic, such a relaxing, calming experience. Treat yourself to one it's definitely worth it. Of course, what really keeps us coming back is the staff, they are a loyal, hard working and family oriented people. We enjoyed getting to know many; there's truly too many exceptional individuals to mention. Everyone at the resort makes you feel welcome with smiles and treat you as their friend with many who have become family, not only our friends. My advice to travelers is to take the time to talk to the staff and Cubans you meet in your travels so you can learn about Cuban culture and their way of life. Melia Las Dunas: Beautiful Resort

Beautiful beach area. Pool was nice with lots of lounge chairs at both pool and beach. Service was excellent. Food was very good. Rooms clean , beds comfortable. We had a wonderful time at this resort and look forward to returning. Would recommend resort

Playa Costa Verde: Good Resort

Good ground, room, dinner and services. Nicely manicured gardens and flowers. Beach is not far away. Room cleaning lady was not doing her job and the toilet was not flushable mosttimes due to water shortage. Internet service at the lobby but with limits.

Hotel Tuxpan: Great resort, Amazing staff!

This is a very nice resort with a fantastic beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The coffee bar is very lovely and they make some amazing coffees. The room we were in was very spacious and the balcony had an outstanding view of the ocean.

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Аmazing resort

Wonderful staff, the buffet and the restaurants very good.beach is amazing, rooms are clean We recommend this hotel to everyone I promise to come back with friends. A special thanks to servers, front staff.

Hotel Tuxpan: Tuxpan

Staff Amazing, Beach Amazing, food was good, pool Excellent, Hotel terrific. I will definitely be returning to Tuxpan. Bottle of Champagne on ice and a bottle of red in my room . Staff heard it was my birthday, the Champagne and Vino were a lovely touch.

Grand Memories Varadero: Great Time But Will Not Return To This Resort

Coordinated a Girl's Trip and stayed at Grand Memories for the week of November 26, 2022. We enjoyed our stay and made the best of some of the limitations at this resort. The beach was beautiful as expected and the staff was lovely and accommodating. There was a lot of walking as we were situated at block 15 but nonetheless, we were next door to a nice pool and a great bar where the drinks were on point. Some things that I did not like...... it is a given to tip your maid and write notes [... read more] to ensure you get everything you need in your room like multiple waters, towels, and toilet paper. If you're coming to Cuba, pack a towel and a couple of rolls of toilet paper. If you like premium alcohol, buy it at duty-free and bring it along. They did not have tequila and vodka was very limited. Wine on the resort was very limited as well. The only place that I could get a glass was at the a la carte restaurants. Otherwise, you need to travel to a liquor store on the strip and buy a couple of bottles for your room. The food was okay but the variety was very limited. Some days there were no eggs but there was bacon. If I came back an hour later, there would be eggs but no bacon. They picked and choose when they would serve items that you expected to be at the buffet. Some days I just ate fish and vegetables. The entertainment was good. The majority of the time we stayed in the lobby and mingled with other guests in the evening. All in all, we met a lot of great fellow Canadians at the resort and had a lovely time. I would definitely come back to Varadero but would probably stay somewhere else.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Wonderful Experience!

We traveled to this resort Dec 9-Dec. 16 2022 and we can honestly say we sure did not go hungry or thirsty ! The beach is beautiful very spacious with lots of chairs . Didn't have to fight for a chair around the pool either. The staff are very kind, helpful and very accommodating. Yes there are many stairs to the beach however there is a ramp that you can use instead The entertainment Comitee really try hard to get everyone involved. Muthu Colonial Hotel: GREAT FAMILY SPOT

Pleasant staff. Beautiful stay. It's a bit older and ot as modern as some. But it was clean and lots to do. The staff were nice and easy to deal with. Front desk was great and always able to help us with anything we needed. We are a family of 5. Our kids had a great time.

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Great customer service and nice hotel grounds

We just got back from our trip to Memories Trinidad Del Mar. Three years ago, we visited this hotel before Covid. At the time, there were very few customers there, however, this hotel becomes a very popular resort and there are lots of customers this time. Despite the increase in volume of customers, there are no shortage of foods. We would recommend other customers to try out their soup and shrimps which are so fresh and tasty. To name a few, Jelani, Reinier etc. (my spelling may be wrong), they are all eager to serve you with whatever you need. One particular person that makes our trip most memorable and enjoyable is Gabriel at the reception/front desk. We had never seen such a hardworking and pleasant person in a resort who will relentlessly assist the customers in solving all kinds of issues. Although his official hour is 8-5 but at times he would stay until 11:00 pm as he wanted to ensure that the problems are all resolved in a fast and efficient way before he goes home. We would like to commend him to his supervisors/managers for his superb customer service.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria

Overall common area is clean. Should apply some ways to reduce the numbers of mosquitos and flies especially in the dinning areas. It appears that they did not have enough staff doing room cleaning. Cooking staff should be advised how to cook beef and steak. Most of the times they were cooked well done even I had requested for medium rare! Beach is nice though.

Playa Pesquero: Another great visit

Had a wonderful time at playa Pesquero. Fantastic weather, great staff and great beach. If you are the traveller who expects 5 star dining then Cuba is not for you. The country is trying to recover from the pandemic and there are shortages mainly vegetables, but you won't go hungry. No shortages at the bar.
