Resonance Blu Santa Maria: BIG HUGE RESORT

The Husa was a lovely place, great grounds, the room was big and clean, the A la Carte's were also very nice. The unfortunate thing is I found the food variety was lacking, and not terribly good. The pasta station was always a huge line up, you'd have to be prepared to wait quite a while for it was not staffed appropriately. I've been to Cuba a few times ,different resort, It's not my intention to return to this one again

Memories Paraiso: Excellent Resort

We just love this resort, we find that the grounds are always well kept, the rooms are very clean, there is a good variety of restaurants and bars to entertain yourselves, the service from the staff is also very good they really love to take care of your needs to make sure your stay is enjoyable, the beach well that is a different story it is amazing, I have never been on a better beach and the beach staff well 100% to them , the are awesome. Sol Cayo Santa Maria: Nice Resort!

Nice stay at this resort, simple, small & intimate resort. The staff at this resort is what makes your stay so special. The food was so so but then again it is Cuba. We didn't get sick which is the main important thing. The beach absolutely amazing!

Melia Buenavista: Amazing Vacation

This was our first time to Cuba and Melia Buenavista and it was more than we expected! Food was fantastic, staff are so friendly and resort itself was perfect! We are planning on going back this year!

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Fantastic Resort!!!

Easy to get around. Beach was amazing. Food was good also. When we arrived, we did not like our view so we asked to be moved to another room. They moved us immediately to a room that had a better view and was a lot closer to the beach. I would return to this resort.

Memories Paraiso: My best trip yet

This was a beautiful resort, I would recommend this piece of paradise. The grounds are kept very clean and beautiful all the staff were friendly, rooms were very nice and well kept. We have been to Cuba many many time and this was by far the best stay. We will return here for sure.

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Nice but done with Cayo Santa Maria and Cuba

Well, it's hard to know where to begin. The resort itself is beautiful. This was our 3rd time on this Island group. 1st was to the former Occidental Royal Hideaway (on Cayo Ensenachos), 2nd, that same resort, now the Iberostar Ensenachos and this time the Eurostars on Santa Maria. This one mainly because it was an affordable vacation to take our University age daughters on for reading week. This whole area is one of the most beautiful we've ever found and we travel a lot. What is clearly evident [... read more] is that in a few years, the whole thing will be nothing more then what Cayo Coco is today. A run down, broken down place where nothing works and you cant find a good meal or decent drink. Being a new resort is all that makes it tolerable. I'm a little tired of hearing that the food is what you get in Cuba and you should just be happy to get fed. These hotel chains certainly read reviews and there is no reason on earth you should settle for cold food that should be hot and warm food that should be cold. Seriously people, you would never eat in a restaurant 7 days in a row and settle for that. The a la carte called Creole was able to serve hot soup, a good hot main course on a plate that was so hot the waiter carried it with a folded napkin. That was the only decent meal we had all week. There is no reason the same cant be done in all restaurants at all Cuban resorts. The drinks are terrible. The house wines are grape juice at best. There were not enough beach beds or pool beds to go around, I had to become one of those people who got up at 5:30 to get a spot on the beach because if you get there at 9, they were all reserved by people who showed up after lunch. Again, management at these resorts has to read reviews on how there are never enough beach or pool beds to go around. The one bright spot was once again the staff. The most genuine, hard working(slave labour really), honest, caring and thoughtful people anywhere on earth. The shows were tired and repetitive except for, believe it or not, the Michael Jackson show on Wednesday nights. I've seen probably 15 of these in various countries and I have to say the group they brought in for this was crazy good. The beaches out there on this island group never disappoint. Some of the most beautiful of all the all inclusive bunch. It would behoove them to expand the airport on Cayo Las Brujas which is about 18 minutes from the resorts. As they continue to build more resorts out there, it is evident that the tiny airport in Santa Clara, an hour and fifty minutes away, has become a joke with nowhere near the capacity to handle more then one plane at a time. And given that there were 5 there the day we left, let's just say you have to be there to understand how bad it gets. The resort is perfectly fine, if you want to just relax and get away from it all. If you expect anything more then an acceptable week in the sun with about 3 star quality, you will be disappointed. We loved our three holidays out there on those little islands but we will never again pay good money to settle for lousy food and drinks just because the beaches are stunning and, well, it's Cuba so the food is what it is. I would much rather spend more and once again enjoy the beautiful resorts in Punta Cana or in the Mayan. Go there with no expectations and you will be fine. It's a Motel 6 dressed in Hilton clothing.

Melia Las Dunas: great resort for sun, sand and entertainment

Great first time experience at this ocean side resort. Went solo and everything went very well. Room, service and amenities were all great and value was unbeatable. Lots to choose from for food although a bit down in quality at times.

Resonance Blu Santa Maria: Great time at Husa Cayo Santa Maria

We spend a week last November at Husa Cayo Santa Maria and had a great time there. Everything was amazing, including the weather and there was nothing to spoil our vacation. Rooms, Personnel, Food - everything was very good. Wish to go back one day.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: amazing people and amazing resort

The resort was kept very nice and clean. The people were amazing and helpful and specially, the waiters and waitresses everywhere were amazing and very friendly which makes dining atmosphere very nice.

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Great staff

The wait staff whether it be bar or food were all incredibly friendly and ensured to go the extra mile. Excellence club was worth the additional cost. The rooms were a nice size but could use some upgrading, I also would gave liked to have room service on site. The all male band that sang in the lobby bar some nights was phenomenal. It would have been nice to have longer entertainment and seen more of them.

beach pristine,grounds lovely,room good, but service & food was unacceptable.after 2 weeks attempting to eat unaceptable food, my husband & I were looking forward to MacDonalds, which we never frequent. we will not return.

Nice resort. Food was good. The snack bar is the best spot. Beaches lovely. Rooms outdated. Bring paper products. Too many French people who were very rude. The maids were very nice. Smoked out by insect killer in the everning. They should do it when people are aleep

Memories Paraiso: Great resort

The hotel grounds were beautiful. We had a week of sun. The beach went on forever, you could walk out into the water for meters. Sand was like powder on the beach. Our room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good, I stayed with omelettes in the morning and pasta at night. Drinks were very good. We went on the baseball tour into Santa Clair and it was the best, had a great time and the game was amazing!

The rooms are comfortable,the beach is breathtaking,the staff are very friendly and kind,large selection of food at the buffet,the ground is very clean and nice.I just wanna go back like already tomorrow!!!

loved this resort, everything was clean the food was good better than a few places that I've been, the beach was amazing all the people that I meet where very friendly I especially liked the pizzeria best pizza I ever had and the wait staff was very friendly all in all I would recommend this resort to anyone
