Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Amazing Hotel

The Hotel is brand new everything has been taken care well, all the workers are really good towards families and what they do, they are happy and smiling all the time and also very eager to help when need it, rooms are very comfortable and overall it was an amazing experience will definitely go back.

Grand Bavaro Princess: good and bad

good food beach train does not go around enough it is totally out of control the vendors on the beach and at the resort they never leave you alone casino sucks and no free beer on the weekend they let the locals invade the place and are very rude

Now Garden Punta Cana: Wonderful

I would recommend this resort for persons that wish for some R&R. It is great that you have access to the sister resort for entertainment and restaurants. Tripcental was perfect to deal with, every questions we had were answered in a very short period of time.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Disappointed!!!!

Our first room the air didn't work that after the 3rd call I went down to the desk and asked for the manager who then came to our room and moved us at 12:30am to another room with air, after that the toilet broke ( they came and fixed) hair dryer broke ( they came and fixed) fan broke (they came and fixed) but the air in this second room hardly worked at all and nothing was ever done about it. The room was never cleaned just the towels and bedding changed and made but the bathroom not cleaned at [... read more] all. I would REALLY have to think about staying there again.

The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana: No recommendation for this resort

the management and services of the resort is not according to stars ratings just an average , I give them only 3 stars, the place punta cana is amazing next time if I travelling there I will try another resort.

Riu Republica: RIU Republica was an amazing time! Would repeat in a heartbeat!!

This resort is for adults who want to have a good time and meet a ton of like minded individuals from around the world. It was a very refreshing experience from the usual all inclusive resorts as this one is adults only and has a different vibe. I made a ton of new friends from Canada, the USA, UK and Argentina as well as some new Dominican friends ...mind you I have been to the DR 5 times before ...this trip was the most memorable, the event staff was amazing and the restaurants were ok.... [... read more].not 5 star but acceptable and the buffet was good. The beach was awesome and clean.....I am sad writing this review as it means I am back at my desk!

Riu Republica: Amazing resort

It’s close to the airport. The beach is amazing. Very clean and very friendly staff. A lot of food options. There is a water park and a great convenient/ souvenir shop on the main leave. There is also a great lobby area when you can hang up that’s close to a bar and you can smoke.

Riu Republica: fantastic resort

What an experience at the Riu Republica! We stayed Oct. 27 - Nov. 3, 2018. Cannot say enough about the food, rooms, vast beachfront, seaweed free. Many resorts have had their beachfront washed away with erosion. The beaches and pools were well maintained. Never had anything to complain about. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting an Adults Only vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Just ok

Return last week from two weeks at Royal Golden section. Be sure to bring a lot of bug spray as mosquitos are very active as well as send flies and ants. Also learn some Spanish as most of service people in hotel do not speak English at all. Resort is huge so if you are not in good shape and ready to walk a lot, consider some other place. Yes, there are trains around resort but you will still need to walk to them and wait. As for Royal Golden section, do not waste your money. We were last time in Bavaro Princess for about same amount of money and I would not think twice about going back to Princess but we will not be back to Bahia. Nothing specially bad about this resort but too big to take care of everything in proper way and prefer Spanish guests. For same or less money there are better choices.

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Outstanding Resort

Hotel grounds are beautiful. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. It also has a very nice whirlpool tub with glass windows. the rain shower head is very powerful. Food everywhere was outstanding, the buffet offered amazing food which included lobster tail at lunch and dinner. Food presentation both at the buffets and ala carte restaurants was amazing. Plenty of beach huts and there were always seats available around the pool. Service was outstanding, best we had in the Caribbean. Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Adults only

The resort at Ambar Green or now Aquamarine has some very friendly and helpful staff. We ran into some problems but they were always trying to correct them. Some they could correct easily like making sure our water and chips were brought to room each day. Also when we arrived they did not have a room with two beds for us so we had to stay the first night in a king room then move the next day. I was very disappointed in the fact that the only place adults only could eat breakfast or lunch was the buffet. The beach buffet had kids there too and we were turned off eating there because kids were touching food etc. there was a section right beside it that we thought was for us in adult only Ambar but were told it was only for PRIVILEDGE guests. Very annoying. We paid more for adults only for a reason. So, after that we had to come back to the main buffet for lunch when we went to the beach. Although most of the a la carte restaurants are in the family sections the Brazillian at the Esmarelda was awesome, we went there twice, not many children were eating in there either. The only issue we had with going to other areas for dinner was getting timely transportation back. After the second time waiting 20 minutes and asking several people to get us a ride we learned on the third time to ask our driver from Ambar who took us and he gave us his cell number to call when we were done. Also very frustrating was the free gift offer they leave in the room saying to get gift in lobby and enter a draw too. Well, that is BS because you don’t get the free gift or the chance to enter the draw unless you do a tour of Fantasia. That is wrong and not only that the badgering you get from the guy even after saying no several times is unacceptable. We were frustrated enough after ruining our oft whole ay waiting to get another room, didn’t need more time wasted. The pool was big and hardly ever many people at it, always empty chairs all around so you never had to search for chairs any time of day. Maria in buffet is the best, always happy and making sure we were too. They should clone her. We only ate dinner there the first night and did a la carte all the others so can’t say much about what the dinners there are like. The breakfast and lunches were good but often lacked in potatoes and rice options. I already mentioned the Brazillian being the best. The Asian at Esmarelda was also good. Tex mex was good once inside but the greeters at the outside turned us off from ever going there again. They stood there chatting with two young girls in bikinis instead of making a drink outside for guests. Also the bench was full of sand where the two girls sat and when I went to sit there I told the guy, he ignored it so we stood until they let us inside. Since customer service phoned us everyday to ask we advised them of all we thought was not good. The manager Smiley then called us for further details. Sony, one of the customer service guys arranged for us to get a reservation at Brazillian and cancelled our last night reservation for Tex mex when we told him about that experience.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Beautiful resort

The hotel is just beautiful. The restaurants are good and the buffet always has fresh delicious food. The service is outstanding. I would most certainly return. I had a great 7 day vacation. Favio and Carlos are great yoga and fitness instructors. Yoga on the beach with the ocean breeze is phenomenal.

Sunscape Dominican Beach: Great resort

Had amazing service from the people. So sweet and so caring when it comes to service. Only issue with the hotel is the buffet food was not that great and the water shutting off. Other then that amazing hotel and amazing people who work in the hotel

Riu Republica: Amazing resort

Loved it....Beautiful resort. Lots to do, you can relax or there is a lot of different activities to do. Lots of delicious food options. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The beach is fantastic. Good beach for walking. Weather was fantastic...great vacation!!!!

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Best resort ever

We have been to many all inclusive resorts in our travels but Majestic Colonial surpases them all. All of the staff were very polite, helpful and always smiling. This resort prides themselves on cleanliness. There were very few bugs. There were many choices of food items to please any fussy eater. The beach is very large and there was never a shortage of beach loungers. Our room was perfect. We would love to go back.

Riu Bambu: Family Fun

Our family had a great week at this resort. Fun for all. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful when needed. A great variety of food in the buffet. Nice to have little shops on site to visit. Beautiful beach area. Would go back again.

Blau Natura Park Resort: Good for the price

The hotel grounds, pools, beaches and restaurants are quite nice. However, the rooms were very old and in need of TLC. We had to upgrade to a newly renovated Premiun room = $30/day xetra A lot of Russians and Argentinians in the hotel

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Fantastic Resort - Really Beautiful

Extreamly clean and very well maintained! Very friendly staff. Fun pool and ocean activities but you could always find a quiet place to rest with no problem if you did not want to participate. Nice ocean side beds were a special treat. Separate adult and kids areas for everyone's comfort. Rooms beautiful and very clean. Nightly entertainment is average - but hey, this is not Broadway. 11 bars on site so a drink or water always close by!. Two daily huge buffets one at each e [... read more]nd of the resort. Plus 3 specialty restaurants. Be sure to check out the Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you - its fun and delicious. The other two restaurants I found not so good and leave you hungary - but you have the buffets. There are kids areas, night club, casino, etc. Plus an all night restaurant. Sailing and kayaking included at no extra charge ! Huge pools go on forever and a fun time - our group of 48 people (my daughters wedding) ranged from from 9 yrs old - to 84. And everyone loved it and had a fantastic time. Only suggestions I would strongly suggest: 1) NO SMOKING, ESPECIALLY OF CIGARS in the nightly show areas - truly unbearable for adults and DOUBLY FOR CHILDREN. 2) Have a MUCH BETTER initial orientation at the beginning- it took me 2 days to feel oriented. Just pointing in a general direction - food there, ocean that way, more food that way, snacks down there - was utterly useless and made me feel alienated. But truly - overall a wonderful place.

Excellence El Carmen: Wonderful vacation!

We stayed at the Excellence El Carmen and it was our first all-inclusive trip. WHAT A TRIP! Everything was just perfect. Grounds were beautiful, room was amazing, food was great! We upgraded our room to a swim-out suite and it was well worth the extra money.
