Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Amazing resort

The hotel was very clean! Our room had a great view facing the the pool and the beautiful gardens. Easy to get around the grounds. Great resort for kids. Everyone was very friendly. The entertainment at night was very good! The buffet was very good. I really enjoyed the martini bar at night!!! Overall a great resort!!!

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: No wow factor

Just finished staying at this resort. I would not return. Although the food was good the service was terrible. I was part of the Diamond Club but not once did I get service on the beach like they say. The people staying at this resort were also very rude. Which was surprising since most were from Canada. The management did not help out in anyway even after several meetings. Will try a different resort next time.

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Great Family Resort

Overall we had a great week. The service was really good. The staff are so caring and friendly. Arrival and check in were good. We were greeted with a welcome cocktail and checked in quickly. Our room was clean and spacious with a great ocean view. The food in the a la carte restaurants were really good as was the service. The food at the buffet was repetitive with minimal selection. There was a beach grill that served BBQ chicken, pork and fish during lunch that was really good. The beach was o [... read more]utstanding. Clear and warm with lots of fish around. The pool was great too. It's too bad there wasn't more shade available though. If you don't get out by 6am to reserve a spot, you bake in the sun all day. The resort is small and easy to get around.

Melia Jardines del Rey: First class resort

We were very happy at this hotel. We needed some medical assistance and we were very pleased with the medical care we received. The service is excellent, the food at the buffet was really good and the Cuban people couldn't be nicer.

Hotel Playa Paraiso: It's all about the Beach

You can walk for hours on the beach, it's beautiful, probably the best in Cuba. Food is okay, buffet is fine, fast food on the beach and grill a few minutes from the beach. A la Carte rest. not worth it. Rooms are fine but they were cheap on the drinking water, large bottle in room but not every day. Nothing in the small fridge in the room. Cheap on exchanging towells in the room. Good drinks and special coffee in lobby bar. Employees were great. Gym is fine, bikes, 1 treadmill and various weigh [... read more]ts. Great Massage on the beach with Gato 25 pesos. I didn't participate in activities or entertainment and didn't use the pool area. Would go back for the beach.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Mature resort

Mature resort that needs some refreshing with paint and public washrooms need to be updated and kept maintained with the basics of soap, paper towels and toilet paper. She is a grand lady . The beach is amazing and the staff work very hard. "Melia" needs to spend some money on this resort and not just focus on building new ones so they will keep the clients coming.

Tryp Cayo Coco: great time

This is r second time at tryp and we will be going back again next year. The food was great the weather was the best and overall we had the most relaxing holiday. We could have anticipated. The staff was aussem Ricardo at the small pool bar was the best. Can,t wait to go again.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: great time good food

great trip 7 days of pure 32+ weather ,clear skies.this is a very nice resort.for once the food was good.even our grandsons said it was good food.staff was friendly and helpful but were missing in action some times.wish we were told about the diamond club upgrade.everything in the room worked.only thing bad was it was a walk to everything it would have been nice if they had a shuttle.overall a great time. beach was great!!!

Hotel Mojito: Amazing beach

Great value close to airport , beach is out of this world. The crew works hard to get everyone involved. Lots to do the bartender at disco is like out of the movie cocktail he should be in Miami makes good tons of cash.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Amazing time!!

This was by far the best holiday I've been on. The entertainment staff and dancers were amazing - they really made the trip special. We ate at all three a la carte restaurants and they were excellent. The beach was beautiful and we are thinking of making this a yearly adventure. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because we had to pay $2/night for our safe as it wasn't included.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Great Vacation

This was our second visit to this resort , the first being 2 years ago. We saw many improvements from the first visit. The rooms were very clean, we saw fewer gardeners than we did our last visit which resulted in lack of grounds maintenance. The lobby bar still lacks in service for some reason, we usually had to go to the diamond club bar in the lobby. The beach is rocky ( lava rock ?) but I never had a problem getting to the amazing part of the ocean. There is lots of starfish, conch shells an [... read more]d various others to see, but if people continue to remove them and kill them to bring home they will not be there!!! The food was great , we never had a problem finding something to eat ! We spent 3 hours at the pool but it was too noisy for us, off to the beach it was ! Overall it a great value, we may return again but we are probably going to try somewhere new next year.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Decent food, great entertainment

The hotel was clean, all the staff were great. The hotel rooms were okay, a/c didn't seem to keep the room cold enough. Food was decent, good selection. The entertainment each night was amazing, the Michael Jackson show was by far the best. But other than the dancers there wasn't much for entertainment after 10-11. All you could do was sit in the snack bar, with no music. There is karaoke once a week but still, seemed like you had to make your own party.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Very nice resort.

The pool and beach area was clean and well equipped with chairs etc. The overall staff were very friendly and helpful. The room fridge was barley cold enough to keep purchased beer and water cool. Overall nice resort.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Very nice resort.

As this was my first trip, I was very impressed.. The resort was clean and well maintained.. Although I did go 2 days without a bathroom light.. Told various people each day about it, it finally got resolved.. All staff were friendly but if you do travel to memories flamenco you must find Hector who works in the lobby bar.. He without a doubt goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met..

Tryp Cayo Coco: Excellent

This hotel was very good. The food was very good. The people that worked there were exceptionally helpful and very friendly. We had the most fabulous time there and I will definitely go back there again.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Nice Resort

First impression of the grounds was very lush and well-kept gardens, and quite large area. Our bungalow was #10, which was the furthest away from the amenities. I don't mind walking, but very hot when you have to walk it in the middle of the afternoon. That said, somebody has to do it! Also an advantage we had was away from some of the noisy riff-raff at the hotel in the wee hours of the morning. Would have preferred to be a little closer. The room was nice and comfortable, and the maid did a go [... read more]od job. The buffet at the restaurant had a nice variety of food, and we usually came away satisfied. There was a good assortment of entertainment in the evening, including a time for children. Wasn't crazy about the beach, as there was so much rock, however, there was about a 20 foot wide sandy spot to comfortably enter the ocean. Spent just about every day down there. Very relaxing. We found that there were many of the same people who saved the lounge chairs in the shade by the pool with their towels. It was witnessed people were actually saving the lounges the night before. Probably, the hotel can't do much about this unfair practice, but it just seemed to be like an exclusive club there. Would have also liked to have a washroom down at the beach area, as it was a fair walk to the closest one at the resort. We went on the Moron-plus excursion. Parts of that tour were not what we cared about, possibly because of the heat. Had only 25 minutes to visit the different souvenir shops, which I found not enough time. The best part was going to a lake and having a ride in a speed boat, and ending with a delicious meal. In closing, I always find 1 week goes by so fast, and really did not want to leave.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful beach

We were 11 days in Paradise at this hotel April 9 to 19. The room was great for what we need and everything worked well. Also, we got a crib for our baby. Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly, good choice and quality of food, activities and evening shows. Beach was awesome!!! We had a fabulous time and the service, facilities and entertainment were outstanding!

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Fantastic reasort

Great, friendly staff, great evening shows, good variety at buffet, very good food, extremely clean. Down side... Need to be up really early to get chairs either pool side or beach. Beach...4/5.. coral deposit very close to the edge makes it difficult to access the water.

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Relaxing Vacation

We stayed at the Pestana from April 10-17th and we had a great time. The resort is beautiful and clean, the pool was the cleanest I have ever seen at a resort, we went next door to the Memories Flamenco and their pool was really cloudy and gross looking. The beach was breathtaking, you can walk for miles and miles, the beach in front of the Pestana is definitely the best. The food was good, the Cuban soup is AMAZING!! Rooms are clean and not musty, the AC works very well and the beds are comfy.  [... read more]The drinks were good and the bartenders at the pool are awesome and so much fun! The only complaint would be the chair game, the resort does not offer much shade therefore getting good chairs by the pool or beach is almost impossible, you have to be up at about 5:30 to get a spot that offers shade, otherwise they are all saved. I think the resort needs to find a way to stop this from happening because the chairs will sit there for hours with no one using them. All in all an amazing trip and I would 100% recommend this hotel, I am not sure we would return only because we like to try different places every time.
