Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: What's not to like?

A little piece of heaven at the end of a long ride. ( about 90 bus ride from airport). We were welcomed with a glass of champaign and recognized our repeat visit. Reception was fast and friendly. Golf cart took us to our clean and ready room. Each day buffet had plenty of choices. Beach is outstanding. Pools clean. Staff every where were friendly. Gardens were luscious. We liked that there was a child friendly pool and separate adult pool. We plan to return in February.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Pleasent surprise

The staff went over and above with their service. All staff were friendly, helpful and always seemed happy. The grounds of this hotel were beautiful, well maintained and the hotel has a modern arcatectual design to it. The rooms were spacious, mine had a king bed in the center of the room, a large bathroom with a large shower. Plenty of amenities in the room, coffee maker, fridge stocked daily with pop water and beer, English T.V. My favorite pool was the first main pool, centrally located with many sun beds available. Although not very deep or suitable for actual swimming there is a swim up bar. The beach is very nice, wide, with soft sand. You can walk or jog for several km in both directions. The ocean is a beautiful turquoise colour and suitable for swimming. The staff working on the beach always have your lounger ready, place it anywhere you want it on the beach and clean it off for you.

Memories Paraiso: Large, decent spread out, nice pools.

the public areas were nice, the pools were large and numerous. beach area was nice although diamond package not really worth it. the manager is wonderful - if any problems he is willing to help. our concerns did not go un addressed.

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Location is absolute paradise

The hotel is literally improving by the day...more lam posts for night strolling along walkways went in on our second night there! Some really attentive staff, and friendly too! I wish they had mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes and ONIONS everyday at the omelette station....why such a lack of onions?! Food is Cuba, but we felt spoiled with lattes and coffee at buffet & 24-hour bar!

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Great resort

Beautiful resort, well maintained, rooms are cleaned everyday. Beach was awesome, not enough palapas though unless you prefer to bake under the sun then there's no problem for you and there's no privacy since everybody is under this big palapas. Hotel staff were great except for the restaurant espiecially the main buffet, they seem inexperienced and doesnt really know how to take care of their guests. Food wasnt great but we expect that! Memories Paraiso: Ok resort

Accommodations were ok but the food wasn't great. Too many people for the selection offered in the buffet. They need another buffet for the size of this resort. The resort was clean and everyone worked really hard to accommodate you. We travelled with our kids. The entertainment group do lots of activities with the kids to get them involved.

Melia Buenavista: Small, quiet and beautiful

We loved this resort for its size and location. Beautiful views, everything is near and the grounds are well kept. Great snorkel just off the beach. We were on the pool side (the least expensive) and it was just like having our own pool by our patio. The food was OK but not great. Being an A la Carte resort (no buffets), the choices were limited and mealtime took much more time. The other negative point of this resort is the lack of vegetation. Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Wonderful

Excellent place, wonderful staff. Beautiful rooms. Nice entertainment, incredible beaches, white sand and blue, blue water. The gardens are gorgeous and well maintained. We would go back there in a heart beat. Loved this place. Treated like a Royal.

Melia Las Dunas: Beautiful beach

Hotel was great! Very clean never felt crowded. You could always find space at the pool or beach. Food was ok, they did run out of a few thing through out the week but we never went hungry. We had a great vacation would definitely go back.

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Amazing Resort

Hotel and grounds are amazing, the rooms are very clean and most of all the staff are very friendly and accomdating. The food is not five star, but the pizza is great at the poolside cafe.......the beach is beautiful...would definatley go back......

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Met All of our expectations again

Again this year we were pleased with all of the facilities, the care taken to make up our room each day, the cleanliness of the grounds and especially the pools. We were never disappointed with the variety and quality of the food in the dining room and were able to reconnect with a server we met 2 years ago that went far beyond our expectations to serve us. We will certainly consider returning next spring.

Melia Las Dunas: Wonderful resort, would love to go back.

excellent hotel, beautiful beaches and the food! absolutely wonderful, I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Looking forward to my next trip to Cuba, and its wonderful hospitality.

Resonance Blu Santa Maria: Amazing Beach

The weather and beach was truly amazing. Lots of chairs to sit on so we didn't need to come early to reserve a spot. Rooms spacious and clean. I recommend trying to get villas 26-29 as they are the closest to everything... and definitely try getting the third floor for the view. The biggest negative about this resort is the food. Buffet is not good. However, the grill is quite good, with fresh meat grilled while you wait with lots of choice. Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Holiday delight

The grounds and facilities are lovely. The rooms are nicely appointed and large.the beach is heaven.the food is lacking. Make sure you book the special restaurants. They are much better the entertainment was enjoyed nightly.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Great family vacation

Third time to Playa and we will be back. Not much you can do about the food, after all it is Cuba! Beaches are more beautiful than you can imagine, service and people are great. Special thanks to Abel, he always takes the time to make our trip special.

Memories Paraiso: Mediocre

We brought our 2 adult children along with us and we had to change rooms our first night due to cockroaches in one room and the bathroom door in the other room would not close. The food was awful and most of the time the service was terrible! The front desk was useless. It was our first and last time to Cuba. Due to the time of year we went the price was too high for what we received!

Melia Las Dunas: great vacation

We stayed at melia las dunas and really enjoyed the resort. Food was good, beach was awesome staff was amazing. I will return. The only downfall that some may not like it is the 1.5 hr drive to the resort. I did not mind though.

Memories Paraiso: Very good!!

Hotel not a 5*. Food repetitive, not much variety! Service courteous. Beach breathtaking!!! Found the bus ride too long. Would not go back to this hotel. Resort very big, we prefer smaller ones. Go for the beach!!

Memories Paraiso: Amazing beach

You can't argue that Cayo Santa Maria has one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean's, white sand, crystal clear turquoise water. I would go back just for the beach and ocean. The rooms were sub standard, we had an ant infestation. I had brought bug spray which helped. The maid did clean the room every day and did a good job. The food was okay, not much variety, I could see myself getting tired of the food after 2 weeks.

Memories Azul Beach Resort: amazing resort

over all the best beach and rooms were nice as for foor in the morning buffett lines hit or miss alot of misses for us no bacon for five days and alot of empty trays alcarts were great and the drinks were good but the staff needs to be up dated on some drinks
