Melia Jardines del Rey: Good service!!

This was our first trip to Cuba. Cubans are very friendly and we loved the service we got!! The rooms are nice and big, the mattress was a bit hard but we slept very well. There is a huge problem with the shower drain as water spills in the bathroom... poor construction. We were in Bungalow 12 and we felt it was the best one. We had oceanview room, not much view but we enjoyed the privacy. The restaurants were not all in there official spot, but they were all open in temporary sites anyways. We  [... read more]tried 4 of them and they were better than the buffet, but I am not a fan of buffets (huge selection though). Do not expect more than 3 stars dining, but they do what they can with what they have. Bring your wine for the restaurants since the wine they serve is pretty bad.

Melia Cayo Coco: Melia Cayo Coco - Great resort!

The grounds were very well kept and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The beach was the best part. We attended for a destination wedding and the ceremony was fantastic and the dinner excellent - the best food we had all week. The rooms were very nice and spacious. We were in a junior deluxe suite, very close to the beach which suited our needs. I would definitely recommend the Melia. It's a smaller resort with big personality. I just wish we had of been there to see the flamingos.

Hotel Vigia: Perfection

Love this resort. Was our 4th time, and have no complaints. It's a 3.5 star so go with expectations of a 3.5 star and you will love it. Beach is beautiful, but the biggest asset is the staff. They will do anything for you, and if you have any problems they will be quickly rectified. Food is great, been to 5 stars in Cuba and the food was not as good as here. Highly recommend if you're not fussy and cracks and chipped paint don't ruin your holiday.

Melia Cayo Coco: Really nice resort

Liked that this resort was small and intimate. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. Nice and picturesque to stroll around the complex in the evenings. The soft lighting and paths were very enjoyable. The snack bars and restaurants all served excellent food in abundance and variety.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: relaxing vacation at the melia Caribe

This is our second trip to the Melia. first time we stayed in the adults only royal service section this time we opted for the elegance club. Our next trip we will return to the Royal service as we found the pool and the exclusive restaurants for the adults only section well worth the upgrade. The restaurants offer excellent choice, however they removed the reservation process which tended to make the wait longer to get into the restaurants. We golfed at cocatel 4 times during the week with green fees covered as part of the elegance package however the cart charge at $65.00 US a person ($154.00 CDN a couple) was an increase over our first trip and as a result not impressed with the cart charge, however the golf course is in great shape and we had no wait to tee off. My wife and I finished a round in 2 hours and 45 minutes which we enjoyed. Our tripcentral experience was excellent the service and clear instructions from our agent took all the worries away in regards to the flights and hotel.

Overall this resort was wonderful Things that need improvement: front desk. Starfish Cayo Largo: cayo largo beauty

This resort is of older vintage but was well maintained . The beach was wide and very long for those who appreciate long walks . The surf was very strong ( red flag most days ) at the resort but the other beaches very close to the resort were much calmer . Food was good by Cuban standards my wife ate turkey on two occasions and the thin crust pizzas were also good . If you like fish they have a wide variety at the lunches and dinners . They barbeque at lunch at Zun Zun - usually pork and chicken [... read more] but I found although very tasty it was work to eat ( not the best cuts at times ) . Only real complaint was the bed - there was two of them we asked for Queen size but got two small beds side by side . . The people working the resort and those we met made up for any small inconvenience .

Starfish Cayo Largo: Nice beach !!!

The Beach was really nice ! Just in front of the hotel, there was no rocks, just very nice sand ...food was good for Cuba. It wa clean everywhere , staff friendly and dadicated, very calm and relaxing !

Melia Las Dunas: wonderful and relaxing

Large resort that accommodates families and adults alone on opposite sides of the resort. Stunning beach. Food above average for Cuba. Service good. Difficulty getting towels and linen changed but think that is a problem throughout cayo Santa maria, not just at melia las dunas.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Great place to be in 1 year

Great service at reception, wonderful restaurant ( main) and great entertainment. As per the beach, I would rate it at 1. Dirty and was not prepared for a day. Some areas were under construction. There is no flowers, shrubs and trees

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Enjoyable Resort

Gorgeous beach, but lacking umbrellas. Beautiful grounds. Clean rooms, but had to ask for change of mattress and providing hair dryer and soap. Good food in restaurants but not so good in self service "Market". Cheerful staff but management could be improved. Lack of orientation information on arrival.

Zel Cozumel: Great time!!!

The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly. The beach was great. But the buffet wasn't tasty (but I'm picky). This was our first south beach vacation and I would recommend this resort to family and friends

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Amaxing Resort,

First time visiting Cuba, Definitely a 5 star resort, room was very spacious and comfortable, food choices were amazing an delicious. Resort staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beach and pools were very clean

Melia Jardines del Rey: Wonderfull Vacation

Best service we have ever had by too many employees to list.Food was very good.They always had a cleaning lady on duty for every washroom all the time. Never had to run after bottled water or coffee for our room . Our location was fantastic near the beach on the third floor with a comfy king size bed. Plenty of hot water.High end liquor at the lobby bar.We have been to Cuba a dozen times & this was the best we have experienced.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: good

Grounds are well kept, staff is good, medical staff doesn't speak and barely understands English ...the doctor was speaking Spanish to me....i do not understand Spanish........frustrating (keep in mind when traveling with a child) was very hard to understand and explain. Cleaning lady was awesome (name Lethicia). Overall the service is good, we where checked out the hotel the day before, so the reception people made a mistake.

Melia Las Dunas: Most Amazing Beach!!!

Resort was beautiful. (Although it takes about 90 minutes from the airport) Rooms were nice, clean and spacious. The grounds were very well kept, as well as the pool, restaurants and bars. Speaking of bars, the lobby bar was fabulous!! Drinks were awesome! Ask for almost anything and they will make it for you! :). Great friendly staff! Melia Las Dunas: Great time

Weather, Beach, resort all amazing ! Beer garden had amazing morning breakfast. A lot of different food options which was a great option. Would highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we asked for. Make sure to catch the staff that fills ur fridge u can always request extra water beer or rum

Tryp Cayo Coco: Best plaće in Cuba!

Beach is perfect, staff is wonderful. Food is good and rooms are simple but ok. I have been there several times already and it always feel like going back to distant family. Will be going again guaranteed :)

Hotel Camino del Mar: it is great

hotel and grounds are keep very clean. people were all friendly and helpful. food is really good. beach is nice . they were fixing the peer so it was safe for people to walk on. music and games were fun to get involved in

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The food was always good and eating area very clean. The staff was amazing and so friendly. Stunning beach and very nice rooms. I would recommend this resort. Thank you for the memories.
