Hotel Playa Coco: Relaxing week and friendly staff

the hotel staff are very friendly and try very hard to please. A la carte restaurants are good. Pool is nice and beach is white sand with a bit of coral and good for snorkelling. Airport is only 20 mins away short bus ride

Tryp Cayo Coco: Best plaće in Cuba!

Beach is perfect, staff is wonderful. Food is good and rooms are simple but ok. I have been there several times already and it always feel like going back to distant family. Will be going again guaranteed :)

Hotel Camino del Mar: it is great

hotel and grounds are keep very clean. people were all friendly and helpful. food is really good. beach is nice . they were fixing the peer so it was safe for people to walk on. music and games were fun to get involved in

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Last minute family vacation

The hotel was very clean, the staff was super friendly! While the beds might be a bit smaller than North American standards, the rooms were very comfortable. The best part of the trip was the beach - AMAZING sand and shallow, warm water. Perfect for young kids or anyone wanting to snorkel without a boat.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Awesome resort

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The food was always good and eating area very clean. The staff was amazing and so friendly. Stunning beach and very nice rooms. I would recommend this resort. Thank you for the memories.

Hotel Mojito: Great Value

The Iberostar Mojito is a great family resort! The pools are well kept, the room are tired but quite adequate, the food is fantastic even if you have a picky eater along fir the trip, and the beach is second to none! I have only 2 complaints; 1. public bathrooms NEED an update 2. Some of the lobby bar staff were older and perhaps not great with customer service. My husband and I observed as my 8 year old son was denied a glass of water! Absolutely deplorable. Never the less we enjoyed our time h [... read more]ere. This was our second time to the resort and I'm undecided if I would return or try another in Cayo Coco. The biggest bonus about this resort is the 15 min commute to the airport.

Hotel Vigia: Beautiful water

A fair amount of variety when it came to food and the ladies in the dining room were always pleasant. Washrooms were kept fairly clean but hit and miss when it came to toilet paper availability. No service for drinks when sitting pool side and not super friendly when going to the main bar. Bar in the lobby that opened later in the day was superb, fantastic and great service. The vie [... read more]w was out of this world, we were close to the water and loved looking outside. The gardeners were amazingly friendly and great to the kids. My son and husband both took very ill to the food and we required housekeeping to clean up vomit, this took hours for the maid to came and it was after hours and dealing with a number of food poisoning clean ups.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Wonderful experience

We had a great time at Iberostar Daiquiri, Cayo Guillermo. I have a walking disability and the resort provided me with a ground floor room very close to the buffet. It was perfect for me. The pathways are smooth concrete and there are ramps everywhere so I had no trouble navigating with my mobility scooter. We enjoyed the food, especially the Mexican a la carte. We went for the rest and warmth and that is what we got. Thanks to all the great staff who treated us so well!

Hotel Playa Paraiso: OK Resort.

Hotel,beach,grounds are very nice.Food is just OK for 4 star hotel.Entertainment very professional and artsy.Beautiful lobby.The worst for me was the noise of mass of people around the pool (loud music too),very noisy buffet,noise,noise everywhere!!! Just bring noise canceling headphones and you can enjoy this nice resort.

Hotel Mojito: Can't wait to go back

I visited a week ago with 3 friends. The beach has soft sand with gentle waves and crystal clear water. The entertainment was a high level, especially the cigar bar band. The food was big on variety and freshness. It was fully booked however the staff were organized, hard working and unfailingly sweet tempered. We had a minor problem in our room which was promptly solved. I would recommend the top floor rooms for the breeze and view. Also, bring your own beach towel !

Hotel Mojito: Solid resort

I would rank the Mojito a solid 3.5. It seems a bit tired overall but the staff were lovely, both pools were nice, the food was excellent - a large variety and they had a great Cuban food section which was wonderful. We were on the second floor and I missed not having a balcony to hang wet towels/bathing suits/etc. The beach was beautiful. It was very close to the airport which was nice as we arrived quite late. Tryp Cayo Coco: Nice place to go see...

Very nice resort. The quiet pool area is great... the beach wonderful. your should look into get a little food area aroung the quiet pool for lunch time it was about the only think missing in that area. the staff is super in all areas. Really enjoyed William and Joaquin in the buffet,.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful vacation at Melia Jardines del Rey. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was excellent, the pool, grounds and beach are lovely. The grounds will only become more beautiful as the vegetation has a chance to grow and beome more lush. Suggested improvements include eliminating standing water in the reception area to control mosquitoes and continued attention to the food.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Friendly Resort

We stayed for a week at Flamenco. During our stay the biggest complaint I had was the bank. You could never get Peso's. The staff were friendly throughout the resort. A special thanks goes out to Carlos Enrique who works in the entertainment dept at the resort. We had a lot of fun with him and he came over for his daily visits and chats with us. The lobby had a beautiful sitting area the only thing is you had to constantly listen to the "Welcome to Flamenco" song play over and over as each bus load of people came, that was a little annoying. As for the elite plus, it did have some perks but not enough worth talking about. The beach is definitely rough, and snorkeling is not the greatest not a large variety of fish to see, that was very disappointing. I did enjoy the food it was great and there was hardly any bugs. I also want to say thank you to the female doctor and her nurse they were wonderful when my husband got a case of food poisoning, they came to our room and dealt with it all there. It was very accommodating in that aspect. The pools are always clean there was a few days that it was a little slimy on the bottom but that is to be expected with that many people in the pool. I just wish they had more lawn chairs very hard to find seats for a group of people and people were out at the crack of dawn to reserve their locations. The water ballet was a disappointment, that's always been my favorite thing to watch but they did it during the day and it just did not have the same affect. The Michael Jackson show was really good, as well as the Cuban show. I was disappointed in Sunwing as usual because they were delayed again flying in. That has got to be the most frustrating thing . All and all I can say it was a good trip though.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Great resort, especially for families

We've been to Cuba a few times, this one had the best food we've tried so far. My extremely picky son was always able to find lots to eat. They even had peanut butter at breakfast! Lots for kids to do - giant chess, billiard's, ping pong, basketball and everyday from 5-6:30 there was a soccer game. The activities staff always made sure the kids were involved. Very nice resort The beach is narrow and a little rocky but there is nothing the resort can do about that. Once you got past the rocks - we were fine without water shoes - it was a nice sandy bottom. If you walked on the beach to the left of the resort down and around the corner (go in the afternoon when the tide is out) you can walk out for ages and you'll find all sorts of fun shells, hermit crabs, snails, sand dollars and starfish - the kids thought this was great.

Hotel Mojito: Nice time!

The grounds were pleasantly green and clean. The cleanliness of the public washrooms on the property was acceptable. The challenge was keeping up with negligent tourists. We stayed in a standard room which was in decent condition, although the decor was dated and the wall lights behind the bed were not working. Generally, the food offered at the buffet restaurant was ample in variety and tasted good, for the most part. We found lunches were best. It would be good if there were 2 cooks there instead of just one. The coffee served in the restaurant was horrible. However, you could get servers to pick up Espresso and other types of coffee at the lounge bar. The pools were very nice. The first couple of days of our stay, the temperature was a little cool, but after that, it was perfect. It was hard to get a spot under the shade by the pool unless you arrived early in the morning and "reserved" chairs by leaving towels or other items on top. It seemed like many people would reserve chairs and not come back for several hours. It would be better if staff could control this to make it fair for everyone. The entertainment staff were wonderful and the nightly entertainment was fun. We had a lovely time and would return to this resort.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: Very good!We definitely keeps on coming back

Just the washroom tiles or walls needs to be polished coz looks old n dirty n also the sink..suggestion please make the sink n tiles white n clean....kids pool must be kept clean n have proper sign coz people after coming from the beach they soak their sandy feet in the kids pool which supposed not...put proper sign or imposed security to this.coz the kids pool is sandy and dirty most of our stay. Hotel Playa Paraiso: Almost perfect except the food

Very clean resort. We were in building 11. The safe wasn't bolted down, patio door didn't lock and had two double beds instead of king. Shower was broken and didn't have running water for two days. After a lot of time spent complaining we moved into another building and it was much better. Room was perfect. Food was boring repetitive and bland. We arrived on the he end of March break. Things like jam, peanutbutter, bananas and yogurt always ran out. Lots of food but wasn't prepared on a grill (  [... read more]all meats cooked with oil on a flat top). Lots of seafood if you didn't mind having to clean everything yourself. Bacon was only cooked on one side (had to brino it to the omlette station to to have it cooked). Ketchup was fine some days and watered down with vinegar are other days. No syrup for crepes. Long long lines for any cooking stations. Coffee was terrible. Milk was powdered. Pool and beach was amazing. Beach is best if you go to the far right. The left is full of rocks. Drinks were sent strong and plentiful. 24 hour snack bar was ok - heard they had good poutine and asked every single day but told they had none and maybe tomorrow. Other people on the flight back seemed to have much better foods hand our resort. We would recommend sticking to an Iberostar or Melia branded resort for next time.

Melia Cayo Coco: It was a amazing Resort

The staff the service the ambiance the beach I can go on and on but the number 1 thing the FOOD 11 out of 10 ha loved it .Cuba is a very nice place to go if you like to see new things and explore loved it

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: okay resort

The locking of rooms is not very safe. We had things taken out of our room plus others that booked with us. beach was okay but definitely needed water shoes at shoreline. lobby bar was good and so was the nightly shows. The food was just okay but not great.
