Impressive Punta Cana: Amazing resort

The resort was very clean,The restaurant food was very good. The spa was amazing and amazing price. Very nice beach and amazing sun rises. The one thing that we didn’t like was there was not enough chairs at beach or pool.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Wonderful beach, lots of critters

The Caribe Club Princess is a wonderful place to spend a week. The staff, food and drinks are all great. The grounds are well kept and the buildings are in fair condition. The beachfront at this resort is awesome and we never had trouble getting a chair at the beach or pool. There are vendors at the beach peddling wares. They respect a firm no and will leave you alone after it if you aren't interested in buying anything. However, our first night at the resort a flea market was positioned dir [... read more]ectly in front of the building my room was in and the vendors were extremely aggressive, trying every trick in their book to have you buy from them. It was a bad first impression. This is an ecological resort with a mangrove and wildlife. There are many birds lizards and turtles around to view and enjoy. I see no reason not to return to this resort if I travel to the Dominican Republic again.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Chic Punta Cana Vacation Feb 2020

Just returned after a 10 Day stay at the Chic resort in Punta Cana .. The Resort was Well maintained . Rooms very clean.Bathrooms were in need of a little update . The Food was the best We have ever had on any of our Caribbean Stays . There was So much to choose from ..A La Carte restaurants were Great especially the Sushi Pescatore , not only did they have sushi ,but the baby back rib was yummy. No complaints about any of the food , the buffet had So many choices ,from breakfast menu ,lunc [... read more]h and evening dinner . The Staff were All So friendly and happy to help all the time . Our entertainment team was FIRST Class ,also the fitness program was lots of fun , aqua fit and yoga classes . Our vacation was perfect from beginning To end . Highly recommended.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Wonderful resort

We found the service was great! Never waited in line for a drink or a table at the buffet. Lots of room around the pools to have either sun or shade. Could walk the beach for miles. The crepe house and Brazilian restaurants were our favourites! Audelina and Rosa always had a smile!

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Amazing resort

The service and quality of the resort was exemplary. Definitely an amazing destination for families with kids under 8. Every aspect of the resort caters to families with small children. You would almost think you are at Disney.

Riu Republica: Great Resort!

Many thanks to Bill Gentry from Trip Central in Hamilton who recommended the Rio Republica Resort in Punta Cana. The resort was beautiful, the rooms were clean, we enjoyed the food and the staff was friendly. A week went by very quickly and we can't wait to return next year. Ana & Steve, Brooklin.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Beautiful resort!

A beautiful resort with gorgeous and well maintained grounds. Rooms were wonderful and clean. A good variety of food at the buffet. Al carte restaurants were good - I would recommend the Steak and Japanese. Service was top-notch. Beach was perfect, busy during the morning, but always manage to find a chair. I would recommend this resort to anyone. There is an option to upgrade, but we found that there was no need to do this.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: AMAZING RESORT!

Catalonia Royal Bavaro was an amazing resort! Great atmosphere and fantastic staff, very attentive. My husband booked this vacation as a surprise and to be honest I was a little hesitant. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff where fantastic! Our room was beautiful, spacious and close to all the amenities. it was just a sort 3min walk to the "family side" if you wished to go and explore. Eric and his crew made our vacation one to remember. Loved this place, we would definitely recommend and will return to Catalonia Royal Bavaro Resort.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Best time we've had on a trip so far

This was our first time at an all adults resort, didn't know what to expect. But wow! it was an experience to remember. Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Amazing Resort!!!

The Majestic Elegance (Club) is probably one of the best resorts we have ever been to. We loved everything about it! The staff our superb (our designated butler Guzman was a delight and the other staff Pastor, Carlos, Francis, Jose, Andres, Jennifer, Masiel, Ismael and Mary) made our stay extra special. The staff are all very courteous and made you feel very special!! We are definitely coming back to this resort!!!! A big thank you to Maya Maceka for booking this memorable trip for us!!

Secrets Cap Cana: Terrific Vacation!

We had a terrific week at Secrets Cap Cana. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to greet us at all times. We didn't see one staff member who seemed unhappy to be working there. The food was very good and the hotel facilities were outstanding. This was one of the nicest resort rooms I have ever stayed in. Being 15 minutes from the Punta Cana airport was an added bonus.

Secrets Cap Cana: Expected more

On arrival we were greeted warmly and registration went quickly and smoothly. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The beach was truly magnificent, gorgeous white powder sand and ocean has sandy bottom. No rocks to step on in the water. The resorts beach area is large and the lounge chairs are far apart from each other no crowding. However, there were some things I found disappointing. First, the pools, while quite large had decks overcrowded with lounge chairs. There was only about 6 in [... read more]ches between chairs and they lined the edges of the pools. Felt like you were back on the plane. Second, the food was just average. Although you didnt need reservations for the alacarte restaurants, service was slow and food unexceptional. The buffet was always pretty much the same and uninspired. However the hamburgers from the poolside grill were delicious. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Also, the attention of staff was too much at times. I am capable of carrying my towel, thank you.. All in all I would rate this resort 4out of 5.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Beautiful spot

We returned from our vacation at the Now Larimar rested and relaxed. There are a few things that could have made our stay better. Three days in a row, I asked for water with my breakfast. Three days in a row, I didn’t get any water. Breakfast is a buffet, so after the waiter brings coffee, they just stand around. It was very frustrating. Wow! The second thing would be the smell at the Now Garden pool bar. Whether you were at the main bar or down at the swim up bar, you would often get a whiff of vomit. It was rather gross. Lastly, if you are scent sensitive, Now Larimar would be a concern. In the lobbies and main washrooms, the scent was nauseating. It was extremely strong and the 1st day you think it smells fresh, but as the week goes on, the scent just becomes over powering. They need to find something less over powering or not use anything at all. All that being said everyone was friendly, the service was good, as was the food.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Amazing Resort!!!!!

Great hotel. Clean and excellent service throughout great selection of restaurants with excellent food. I cannot recall any other resorts that took care of us like Hard Rock. From picking us up at airport till the very end. First class Bravo!!!!

Catalonia Royal La Romana: It was really amazing rezort

Hotel was very nice, landscaping really beautiful, very pleasant place in general. Wonderful people. I cannot complain about accommodation. Rooms are spacious, elegant, clean, enough space for everything and everybody. I changed the room after the first 2 nights ( upgrading). Both of them were different but beautiful. People - I would like to say thanks a million to my first cleaning lady Dariane. Such a amazing young girl, beautiful, very friendly, helpful, fast and efficient. I missed her aft [... read more]er I moved. Rosa, my new cleaning lady, thank you very much, as well. Food - very good and totally different from my prior experience in AI resorts. One small buffet for breakfast and 3 times for dinner, otherwise a la carte. Buffet was very good. I cannot tell about the other restaurant, I didn't go. I loved my lunch at snack bar - the best menu to choose from for light lunch and people were amazing. It was part of a wet bar and those guys there were so friendly, happy and full of such a positive attitude. Especially Marcos, thank you very much. I cannot thank everybody. These people - all of them, are working very hard - waiters, cooks, landscapers....etc. Thank you very much, you are very important part of my amazing holiday. My special thank to PRISCILLA. You, lady, with your knowledge, organization skills, positive attitude, friendliness....you can easily run this resort. I have no doubts. You are beautiful person, inside and out. VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Amazing Vacation!

This was the first time we took the kids on a vacation like this. The resort was a perfect destination for our family of 5 (kids are 9, 9 and 14). Check in was quick and chef came up to us and asked if we wanted to eat as the restaurant was closing soon. Very thoughtful service. We had joining rooms as requested. There was an issue with the original rooms however Hotel switched us out right away. Rooms ended up being separate that night however we just wanted to sleep. Rooms were very clean and appeared to be renovated. We were in the Saona building. The food at this resort is respectable. Something for everyone. Very much enjoyed the fresh fruit selection. We are at all 3 al la carte restaurants. The Octopus restaurant was the menu I enjoyed the most. The Italian restaurant is ok and the Ocean Grill meals were hearty. The ribs were decent at the Ocean Grill. The snack bar in the afternoon was ok. Nacho’s, burgers, hot dogs and fried chicken. The fried chicken was a nice treat as it’s not something I would eat at home. The desert selection at the resort is weak. The kids enjoyed it though. If they elevated the al la carte dessert offerings the guest experience would be enhanced. The entertainment was not the best however it made us all laugh at how bad it was. Created some great memories. If they could clean that part up i am sure guests would appreciate it. The main pool was enjoyed by all of us. We liked that this area was not massive. We were able to watch the kids from all areas. It gave them the freedom to run around. It felt very safe. The pool activities were fun. I really enjoyed the pool volleyball everyday. Mr. Chocolate kept the energy high for the games. He was a favourite of all the family. He is the perfect hype man for the resort We decided to try the upgraded services for the last 3 days. We upgraded to the premium package . This is something we truly enjoyed. The liquor selection in the Vinatage club was much better quality. I really enjoyed going there for pre dinner and after dinner drinks. Laura our concierge once we upgraded was wonderful. She is so kind and very sincere. My wife and I loved her. The private beach area available with the upgraded service package was enjoyed by all of us. Service on the beach was nice. Beach chairs very comfortable. Lots of vendors on the beach. They approach you however a simple no thank you and they leave you alone. They were all very polite and not too intrusive. We also appreciated the turn down service in our rooms with Kisses left on the fresh towels each night. Overall this was a perfect vacation for our family. We are already looking forward to going back!

Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata: Great resort

We traveled as two couples, had a seamless check-in, very comfortable rooms, excellent all around experience from start to finish. Good food, drinks, service, entertainment, beach area, not to mention amazing gated Playa Dorada resort community. Would definitely return.

The resort is situated in Bayahibe, La Romana just 30 minutes buss drive from La Romana International Airport. The rooms are maintained daily by the cleaning crew.. Complimentary Wi-Fi connection is available all around the resort. The food selection for breakfast lunch and supper is good, with restaurant reservation available as well. We eat mostly at Rest. La Yuca (buffet) which had a good assortment to our liking. My “sweet tooth” was delighted with the selection of sweets available, especially the home-made ice cream. The grounds are well maintained, and all is green - immaculate! The staff at this resort are having a pleasant professional attitude, making sure that you are having a great time. The most important time of our vacation was the accessibility to the immaculate white-sand beach, the ocean views looking out over the brilliant waters of the Caribbean Sea, and then enjoying a swim. Life can not be better! Each evening at the lobby bar, has live music, and of couple of time we danced to it. There are also daily shows given by the artistic crew. We preferred evening walks from “Dominicus Place” to the shopping center a nice 15 minutes walk. You don’t get bored at this resort! There are lots of activities available, including water sports, fitness programs etc. We have enjoyed the morning exercises at the pool site conducted by a dynamic team. The selected music that accompanied the exercises was great. In addition, we appreciated all the selection of Dominican music that played daily at the pool site! The staff at the beach bar are all great. In addition to drinks, snacks and light lunch is also available. All in all, we had a great time. Ocean El Faro: Very Large Resort

A very clean resort everywhere, grounds, lobby, rooms are well kept and maintained. Front desk staff appeared not to be very well trained, and not prepared to registered new arrivals. (A lot of confusion when checking in. We were unexpectedly told to go to the bar after waiting sometime and that they will bring our room key to us which did not happen. After a while we pursued a front desk clerk and asked the whereabouts of our key.) The in room fridge was not stocked as advertised. We had to  [... read more]chase down housekeeping personnel to get it filled. The pools were very nice with sturdy lounge chairs but lack of umbrellas. Pool bar service was also very good. The food was generally very good. Lots of variety, lots of fruit a good selection of desserts. The buffet was well serviced by the hostesses and bus staff. They were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel staff went over and above expectations for a Super Bowl Party with food, beverages and a 25 foot outdoor TV set up in the main plaza. Excellent job! Beach was a huge disappointment. It is basically the width of the hotel property and the water is very rough due to the nearby coral reef. Not like the Bavaro beach where you can walk for miles. The H10 Time Share representatives were quite persistent and annoying but if you quickly set them straight they do back off.
