Barcelo Maya Colonial: More then expected

Dining is great, spa is incredible, service staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurants menu very well and food tastes amazing. Alexis Mora on reception very helpful and professional person who made our visit enjoyable.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: A Wonderful Week

My boyfriend and I vacationed here for a week in October during the hurricane season. Overall, I’d give it an 8/10! Beach and pool were lovely, the staff (entertainment) were amazing! Only wish the food was better.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Amazing resort - less than amazing service

Great resort, it's beautiful, it's amazing, it's what I imagine paradise looks like. However, front desk staff are confrontational, forcing you to take a room you didn't pay for. You're given information at check-in then arguing with you at checkout that what you expect isn't the norm.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: incredible experience

best resort for kids, lots of activities, great service, amazing food selection for everyone. The crepe station was the hidden gem during our stay. We will definitely be back in the near future. The value for the money was there.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Nice Resort

Room were very nice, spacious and kept very clean. Pool was great and grounds were extensive and a great variety with access to the four properties. Loved the black swans and flamingos. Beach was clean.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Wonderful place to be

Beautiful surronging, friendly respitive staffs. Room is clean, food are delicious. Service are vey warm and comfortable for gusts. I have already recommended to many friends about this hotel. And we will be back for next vacation!

Ocean Maya Royale: A fun intimate resort!

This was our first time trying an adults only resort. It was a lot of fun! The resort was a great size, you didnt feel like you were walking for days to get somewhere. The food and drinks were plentiful and delicious. The staff all do their best to get to know you and make sure you have a great time. I would definitely go back!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing resort!

We spent a week in October at the Grand Bahia Principe Coba and we have no complains at all! The rooms, service and the food was good! Shuttle bus service is awesome and the frequency is every 5 to 10 minutes! This one time because of the power outage..water was shut off for few minutes! We called front desk and within a reasonable time someone did check up on us! Don't think much when booking this one guys..as long as you have your sunscreen and insect repellent you are all set to go!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing Vacation!

My husband and I visited the LBP Akumal for a week at the beginning of October. It was my second visit to this resort (previously we stayed in Tulum), and we were not disappointed. The staff is truly what sets this resort apart. In particular Roberto at the Los Corales buffet made every morning perfect. It is a big resort, which makes it great for walking, or the tram system makes it easy to get around. The beach is kept clean and staff are constantly raking any seaweed. The food was goo [... read more]d, however, there was a lack of variety on the buffets. We were able to book a la cartes for 5 of our 7 nights, which were all very good. The only complaint that we had was the lack of designated smoking areas. Because of this, people were smoking everywhere and anywhere, which wasn't pleasant for non-smokers. Other than this, everything was perfect and we had an very enjoyable, and relaxing vacation. We are already planning our trip back.

Allegro Playacar: Amazing resort

Excellent resort. Highly recommended. Friendly staff and excellent food. Very clean. Will recommend this resort to our friends and family. Entertainment staff is great. They keep you entertained during the day an in the evening. A very safe and secure place. Rooms are nice.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A Great Experience!

This was a great resort, with excellent customer service. The staff were always helpful and really tried to make sure that clients had a great experience. The great thing about choosing this resort is that you have access to the neighboring resorts that are not adults-only, as well as all of the amenities that come along with it. It's close enough to Tulum as well, which means you can do day trips and visit the attractions close by.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Another Amazing Stay!

We recently stayed at the El Dorado Seaside Suites for the second time and were totally happy with this resort. The staff, service, grounds are absolutely perfect! The restaurants, rooms and pool were all top notch. The beach is very lovely; the water on the Seaside Suites side is rocky but that does not bother me. The water is warm and the beach is lovely. I would recommend this resort and hope to return again in the near future.

Selection Riviera Cancun: What an amazing week!!!

I can't say enough about this hotel! It was the most amazing place I've ever stayed. We had a walkout Jacuzzi suite and it was heaven. The room was spacious, beds so comfy, great shower, nicely appointed and clean! I travelled with my 5 year old and we really enjoyed being able to walk out of our room and jump into the lazy river; only complaint is that the picture shown on the Sunwing website for this particular room is wrong. I thought it had steps down and a rail to hold but those rooms are o [... read more]n the Adults only side so they might want to update the picture. Still it was a great room. Food was outstanding!!! So much to choose from and the room service was a great for lunch when we didn't want to leave the pool. The Nickelodeon area for the kids was fantastic! The indoor facility and the pools and splash pad! I cant say enough!! The staff were amazing. We are planning to return in January. I never stay at the same place twice but this place made me feel relaxed and happy and I want to feel that again!!!!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Relaxing Resort with Wonderful Food

Overall this resort was absolutely wonderful for our 2nd anniversary and a Birthday celebration. We stayed at the Platinum Yucatan in a swim out room. Room: Our room was spacious, had all the amenities we needed and of course the swim out pool was pretty awesome and where we spent most of our time. Entertainment: We saw 3 shows at the theatre during our stay, they were fun to watch, great dancers but got a bit repetitive. The resort hosted a "theme night" every evening with games/dancing that we really enjoyed participating in. Grounds: Our side of the resort had 1 pool with a swim up bar (not including our swim out pool) that was perfect and pretty low key. The other side had more of the main pool where there was a DJ, volleyball nets and more of a party atmosphere. Both were great. The sports park was great but poorly run. Unenthusiastic workers here made the experience not as enjoyable. But we did have fun at the batting cages and learning to paddle board Beach: The beach was perfect for relaxing on the non windy days. We saw a sting ray in the water close to shore that scared me away from swimming but could see a rocky floor. On windy days some seaweed lined the shores but it was still wonderful to relax. Tonnes of huts and chairs available. Service: We had great service during our stay and had no complaints. Staff didnt seem pushy for tips and constantly went above and beyond (except our short time at the sports park). Spa: we got a couples massage and spend an afternoon utilizing the spa facilities- sauna, jetted pool, aroma steam room and loved it. Found the prices to be a bit high but definitely a nice way to relax. Overall we absolutely loved this resort and would return and recommend to friends and family.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Good Resort

The grounds of this hotel are very well kept and are beautiful. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Food is good, however I felt it was better when we were there four and five years ago. I am gluten free and found my options were few when it came to deserts and also a lot of the main dishes were made with sauce and when asked no one seemed to know what was in them. The specialty restaurants are not as good as they used to be and the food was downright bad at a couple of them. Wait staff wa [... read more]s rude when asked about gluten free and were not willing to go out of their way to help. In fact I felt alienated when they found out I had special needs! This certainly was NOT the case on previous visits.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Everything you need, Great resort!

We loved our 7 day stay! Easy to get around, food was plentiful (with lots of selection), grounds were immaculate, rooms are basic (Very clean and functional), beach is lovely and relaxing. Will be back!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantastic resort

Everything was perfect .Room was very clean and well equipped. Bathroom was amazing. Room service was high quality.Transfers from hotel to the lobby and beach was very well accommodated .Food was very good and plenty

Barcelo Maya Palace: Marvellous Resort

We stayed at the Palace. Everything was spotlessly clean, rooms were luxurious and the food was great, even the buffet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was the piped piano music. It was classical music, played way too loud and everywhere.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Beautiful resort

Barcelo is amazing resort with very clean grounds and the rooms are very clean also. Food was outstanding and a lot of variety.All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The entertainment wasn't that greatest. There wasn't any entertainment at night at the bars. At other resorts that I have been to there were always bands and singers in the lobby or at a bar. Other than that pools were amazing and beaches nice.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing Resort

We just returned from a week stay at Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort and Spa, it was our third time in three years and we had an amazing time. We stayed in the Romance Villa Suite because we love the outdoor shower, proximity to the beach and La Jarra Beach Bar. Rodrigo our old friend and new edition Bermont are lovely people and great bartenders who always made us feel welcome and made us laugh and smile, no wonder we spent so many hours there. This is also the nicest part of the beach, where the sand is soft and white and the water blue. There were always lots of beach chairs available and it’s quiet and peaceful. The sargassum was an issue but the employees worked so hard every day to remove it. The food at all restaurants was good, the meat dishes are a bit on the salty side. Our favourite was sushi, the service was fantastic at all restaurants and we weren’t frozen by the A/C this time around. Cecilio and Israel are our favorite drivers that always welcomed us with smiles and were very helpful with getting my boyfriend around who had an ankle injury and needed assistance walking. The evening entertainment in the colonial lobby was fun and we liked the mix of live bands after the show. I have to mention Hemmingways where Luis makes a wonderful mayan coffee. We love this resort and can’t wait to go back.
