Riu Palace Paradise Island: Good Value for the money

The location for this hotel is perfect right next to the Atlantis, you can view the property of the Atlantis during the day and take some nice pictures of the surrounding. You can also visit the aquarium at the Atlantis after 6p.m. for free, during the day you have to pay to see the aquarium. The food at the Riu was excellent although breakfast tend to be repetitive but good. The place could do with some renovation especially the rooms, carpet smells moldy and the furniture is a bit old, paint  [... read more]chipping from the wall. The pool is big and there is only one pool but it is not crowded so there are lots of chairs at the poolside. Most people go to the beach, the beach is beautiful and it is a public beach so the locals are there trying to sell you something but if you just simply say, "no thank you" then they will leave you alone. The hotel is right on the beach, so most rooms have ocean view. The specialty restaurants were also good, my favourite was "Krystal Fusion".

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Just okay!

The beach is by far the selling feature of this hotel. The white sands and see through water is stunning. The hotel itself is in a great location merely because of its close proximity to Atlantis. We spend most of our time at Atlantus during our stay. The hotel is very dated and would benefit from major renovations. The buffet was just okay -along with the a la carte restaurants. The Royal at Atlantis: Best experience so far

We booked last July with Trip central to go to the Atlantis in Bahamas for 7 nights from begining to end we felt the support and the kindness of all the people we deal with. The resort wow, 5 stars is low for what I will guve nice costumer service care about your family all the time and make sure you feel on vacation. The Royal at Atlantis: Disappointed

it was very depressing to see the Bahamas from that angle. i always dreamed of going there and maybe this is why i am more disappointed because of my high expectation. The beach tower is more a 3 stars hotel max, old, smelly. TV wasn't hooked broken glass table on the balcony. semi view of the beach. swimming pool water isn't very clean seagulls are everywhere (sure we cannot complain about it we are next to the ocean, but the dropping is in the water like it or not) I really wanted to walk on  [... read more]the sandy beach and was not happy to see trash around me (not a commercial like picture ) straws, bottles, cans even cloth washed off to shore. went on slide with husband, thank god i didn't insist on my boys to go, we both fell scratched knees and elbows got really infected by the time we got back home. the bottom of swimming pool was harsh. i should say i loved the lazy river thus maybe it is me but slides are not that much of a fun. even kids refused to go in it but they enjoyed the pool however loved their beds (i should say beds are comfortable better than Caesar's palace in Las Vegas) and of course they loved the tv shows and the free internet. we didn't go to fancy gourmet, but we did eat out next to the pool and at the harbor village the plat is huge and it is not very expensive as other reviews mentioned however it is burgers, pizza, fast food menu that kids prefer. we were given water bottle coupon that we used and it was enough (the receptionist was nice and gave us extra) water is drinkable (i know i did drink it and still alive :P) however it taste funny and even shower water smells a little funny. went downtown and it was a nice trip but people in general are very rude specially females ...????... around the resort the staff is mostly friendly (specially house maid i loved them they are very nice) some are rude as well. trip in the boat 4$ per person not a fancy boat but it did the job. it felt more like a camping vacation for me. we did enjoy the pool as i said but bottom line we will not go Bahamas again . airline was great .west jet. very friendly clean and nice no problem there. transportation from and to hotel feels like you are in farmers market and you are the potato sac. drivers are nice and we did tip them

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Excellent all around

Had an amazing time staying at the sandals royal Bahamian. The rooms are excellent, clean with unparalleled views of the ocean. The service and food was excellent as well. Would highly recommend this resort!

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: wonderful resort

friendly staff and food was very good. Grounds were beautiful. The only drawback was lack of organized evening entertainment and proper advertisement for any evening events, and because Cable Beach is a little out of the way at least a 15 minute car ride to downtown but still a great relaxing time.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Bahamas Stay

We stayed at the Riu Palace Paradise Island for 4 nights. The first I'm press ion of the hotel was okay. There was a long check in line and a leak in the ceiling right on top of it. The staff was checking people in pretty fast but they were not as friendly as I would have imagined. Our room was clean and we had a great view of the ocean. The beach at the Riu is like nothing I have ever seen. Clear water, turquoise in colour and warm but refreshing. There were lots of chair to use but not enough  [... read more]umbrellas to accommodate all the guests. The pool area had a bar but the pool was not very clean. Bartenders were awesome. The food at the Riu was amazing. The buffet had a great selection and the sit down restaurants were good. We spent our nights at the Atlantis in the casino due to the fact there wasn't much else to do at the hotel. Everything seemed to close early. Overall, we found the staff to be okay. Not very friendly and at times annoyed when you made a request. The beach is this hotels' biggest selling point.

The Royal at Atlantis: Exceptional!

Beautiful weather, scenery, immaculate landscaping, pools and beaches. My kids and I enjoyed the pools, beaches and went for a snorkelling trip which was fantastic. The food and service was excellent and lots to do.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Perfect Honeymoon

Everything at this resort is wonderful! We stayed at the Windsor with consierage. Cindy was AMAZING! She booked reservations for us and contacted all the chefs about my allergy. I have a severe allergy to gluten and I had multiple options to choose from at every single restaurant! Even the pizza place by the pool had gluten-free. All the staff were very knowledgable about gluten-free food and extremely helpful. Que at Spices went out of his way everyday to make sure I was taken care of. He made  [... read more]me my own gluten-free pancakes, toast, etc. by request and he even brought me snacks to take back to our room. The food at all the restaurants was unreal. We were never disappointed. So many delicious options .... Especially the sea food. We loved all the activities and music at the Windsor pool! The entertainment staff is amazing. We absolutely loved going over to the private island. Bring snorkel gear so you can swim with the sea turtles! It was my favourite part of the trip. Our hotel room was very clean and the bar refilled everyday. We had a photoshoot and absolutely loved the pictures (expensive but worth it). We had a perfect honeymoon and would recommend Sandles to anyone.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Good value for the money

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. A la carte restaurant experiences were great - both food and service. The only one we didn't try was the Steak House. The process for booking the specialty restaurants is ridiculous. You have to line up between 8 and 9 in the morning at the restaurant reservations desk to book - and you can only book 2 evenings at a time.

Food was amazing. Grounds well kept. Beach is great. Rooms and staff need work. Staff wasn't friendly. Bartenders wouldn't serve drinks until u tipped them first. The hotel lobby and bars need to be upgraded.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: perfect

food fantastic as all sandals. offshore island was a panic great snorkelling with turtles on island. very friendly resort workers. too bad sandals are getting so expensive they are the best resorts we have been to many others that are good but just not as good as sandals

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Love this Sandals Resort!

We loved this Sandals resort! The private Island is the best we have ever been to! Having been to 2 other Sandals property and Turks Beaches we absolutely loved every minute of it! Top notch food and drinks! Stayed in a walk out in the Windsor tower very nice room:) Definalty would go back and nice for a 5 day vacation!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Perfect Vacation

This really was a perfect vacation. The hotel was very clean the rooms were a good size. I'm usually not a fan of buffets but I have no complaints...the food was always plentiful and never looked picked over. The restaurants were amazing a good amount of menu choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful.

Breezes Bahamas: great getaway

I traveled to breezes for 5 days in May. I traveled by myself and the people in this resort are amazing! everyone was super friendly and helpful. I injured my foot on a trip into town the first day I was there and every staff member who saw me was offering help and making sure I was OK. The rooms are comfortable, however they would be better if they added mini fridges to the rooms for obvious convenience. I would 100% visit this resort again.

The staff were all so friendly, the food was great and the beach was beautiful. The only disappointing part was all the locals that approached you on the beach; however. if you went farther down the beach you could find some space.

Our experience at Sandals Royal Bahamian resort has been very rewarding, great amenities , beautiful beach and above all an exceptional service by all staff working there who go above and beyond every time to satisfy our needs and asks.

Breezes Bahamas: Great resort!

I stated at the Breezes from June 8th - 12th with my husband. We had an ocean view room and it was nice and clean. Loved the food and different restaurants they had. We had dinner in front of the ocean one night and at the French restaurant the day after which we absolutely loved! Staff was very nice and helpful. The guy who sings at the piano bar is amazingly talented and we always enjoyed listening to him singing. We would definitely stay at the Breezes again when we go to the Bahamas again.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing food and beach

Overall, hotel is a little dated, pool a little small. However, the location right beside Atlantis, beautiful clean beach and amazing turquoise waters made up for it. We had an upgraded (renovated) room which I highly recommend for this specific hotel. The food was the best I have experienced at an All inclusive.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Love this Resort

Beautiful resort, lovely people, great food. Only complaint would be that some of the guest are giving tips and of course the staff accept (why wouldn't they). My problem with this is that you do pay more for Sandals as EVERYTHING is included, including TIPS. I don't disagree that some staff deserve tips and some don't but as a guest when you see someone tipping and you don't, you feel guilty, and we shouldn't feel guilty because you are paying for the tipping up front. One pool staff (waiter) w [... read more]as paid by a couple and he made sure this couple was looked after - he got them a cabana, towels, drinks as soon as they ran out, nacho's, pizza. This fella did more than a butler would do, he was their PERSONAL butler. I would definitely go back to this resort, and would recommend as I think this may be one of my favorite.
