Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Relaxing Time At Wyndham Resort.

This was our second visit to Wyndham, our first was in 2016,we had a very plasent stay the first time,all twelve of us,so Maureen and I decieded too return.I would really like to complement all the staff Ihad contact with,bar,cleaning,maintenice,office,security,foodservice,and all the kids who put on some enterinment extraordinary,and kept us busy with all kinds games and excerises.The resort was very clean,all day long staff were about picking up glasses,plates,lending a hand too new arrivels. [... read more]The beach was dragged everry two days which was nice,my only complant would be the many rocks, and pieces of cement you encountered while walking out into the ocean for a swim,they came in all sizes,and I brused my big toe.

Breezes Bahamas: Stay away

Do not come to this place. The staff is rude they don't want to serve you and it's like you bother them. We stayed here from October 4 to October 12, 2017. We had no air conditioning for three days and no towels for two days. The managers are rude they rolled her eyes and they can't be bothered. The service is below zero. The hotel is run down mouldy and needs a lot of work. Don't waste your money stay somewhere else. It was our first time to the Bahamas and we would never go back. Breezes Bahamas: Stay away

Don't waste your money! No air conditioning, towels and the staff are so snotty and rude.. we will never go back..all the works in every department were rude and bullied the guest and were not friendly.. they rolled their eyes and ignored us and the other guest. It's like we were bothering all of them. They don't clean the tables, serve the beach, pool or lobby.. hated it here and wanted to come home the whole 7 days we were here..

Breezes Bahamas: amazing resort

it has everything you need to spent a great vacation.. all the people working there are awesome.. the food is also good too .. and the place is clean .. it s close to downtown and the airport .. it has all inclusive drink all day .. there are 5 delicious restourants at this resort

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Nice Resort

The rooms were spacious. Lobby and surrounding area was clean and nice. The grounds out front is well kept but back around pools not very impressive, pools/Jacuzzi were cloudy need cleaning and full of sand deposits. Hot tub/Jacuzzi jets did not work much, if it does work it was not with much force. A few areas need maintenance attention. Beaches were perfect. Food at buffet was not hot at all some times hot food was quite cold. Ala-cart menu were amazing and satisfying.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Redemption!

This was my second visit to the Melia in 3 years, I have to say I was surprised, in a good way! The food and service were on point! The room with a partial ocean view was spectacular, very clean! The night time entertainment was amazing, special shout out to Francis the DJ!

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Sandals Naussa

Excellent resort. Great service and food was exceptional. Would go again. Lots to do between the pool activities and other water sports. Great snorkeling and you must try the scuba diving. The instructors are very professional.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Fantastic Resort. Will be back

This hotel was clean, homely and worth the trip. Food, entertainment and staff was very good. Location and transportation to and from airport was great. Public transport to downtown area was efficient.

The Beach at Atlantis: Excellent Vacation Yet Again

We stayed in the Atlantis Beach Tower for the 2nd time. Last time was in 2014. We just returned August 2017. The grounds as always were beautiful and clean. Lots to see. The waterpark was tons of fun, something for everyone. The beaches were beautiful as was the water and reefs right off the beaches, great for snorkelling. We swam in every pool there, all very clean. The Coral Towers pool was not open yet, though they advertise it is, and it appears it's a long way from completion still. [... read more] So beware if you plan on staying there, you will have to use another towers pool for now. The food was great. Movies were fun at night. We did go to Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast in the mornings - cheaper than anywhere on site and just as good - there was also a grocery store in the same plaza and liquor store which were really cheap for snacks and beer/liquor and girly drinks. $2 a beer. We stocked up on that sort of stuff and pop for the kids. You get a mini fridge in your room so its worth it rather than $7.50 on site. The meals around the waterpark were reasonable during the afternoons ranging from $6.50 per person to $12.00 per person and your drinks were refillable all day. There are water refill stations all over, just ask for a cup of ice as the water is a bit warm. You also get coupons that give you 2 bottles of free water you can get at any food and beverage station around the resort per day. Don't drink the water in the rooms that is $7.50 per bottle. We also went to Margaritaville for dinner one night which is only a 3min walk from the resort, really fun and great food/prices. The nachos are massive. As are the wings OMG. My only complaint is the charge for the buffet for dinner - who thinks $63/pp USD is reasonable for anyone 12yrs old and older???? Sorry but that is insane. Other than that prices weren't that bad. The resort credit also helps with the cost. Carmine's was fantastic, wouldn't order more than 2 items per family of 4 or you won't know what to do with the food, there is so much of it. Murray's Deli was delicious as always and my kids favorite was Marina Pizza. My kids loved their nightly treats of Gelato and Brownies from Sun and Ice and my son loved his Milkshakes from Murray's Deli when ever they were open. The rooms in the Beach Tower I must say are dated - more so than our last visit. The carpets are starting to rip around the edges and are stained. The bathrooms are tiny, but functional and clean. Our room was kept clean all the time by the maids. We had no issues with that. The air conditioner worked fine. We had a safe. Yes it is the oldest Tower at Atlantis and it is showing it's age. They do need to start working on it. Personally we found it suitable for our family and our needs. It was clean, no bugs. But could use a facelift. The staff we came across were all friendly and helpful if needed. We enjoyed our vacation and would recommend this resort to anyone. You can do the resort on a budget and don't have to spend a fortune and still have a great time.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Terrible

Food was horrible long lines for buffet. Couldn't use certain pool chairs would never recommend and there was no taxi or shuttles we had to walk to other resorts. Lots of kids even in the adult pool. Music was so so was like I kids iPod that went on

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Great vacation

We really enjoyed our vacation. We were registered for our rooms on the bus and were given our all inclusive bands before we arrived at the resort. We had packed swim wear in our carry on so that we were able to begin enjoying the beach as soon as we arrived. Our room was ready at 3 pm as promised. The room was basic but comfortable. We took water bottles with us and fi [... read more]lled them at the water/ice machines. The food at the buffet and specialty restaurants was excellent. We visited Viva Cafe the first night and were very impressed with the meal and the ambiance. On Tuesday we visited Bamboo and thought the meal was very good. The entertainment at the resort was brilliant. The trapeze was a real hit with my son. It was a challenge but great fun. The entertainment team works very hard at the resort. The Lion King and the Acrobatic evening entertainment were brilliant. The beach was beautiful. There are some rocks as you enter the water but not really an issue. There are palm trees dotted around the beach area for shade as well as a few sails. All in all a very good vacation and would not hesitate to go back in the future.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Excellent Resort

The hotel was very nice,well kept, clean, great service. Beautiful resort. The beaches were incredible. The restaurants and food were just amazing the only thing we weren't impressed with was the Italian restaurant. The lamb was raw both times they brought it back to us. The sauce tasted like ketchup and was really poorly done. Other than that it was amazing. Maybe the entertainment could have been more versatile and more music played during the day. Warwick Paradise Island: NICE RESORT

Hotel was exceptionally clean! very impressed, rooms were fresh and clean. Food choices were a bit limited at this time of year, however it was well made and fresh. Drinks were amazing, all the bartenders were friendly.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Relaxation, or activity on a beautiful beach

This is a very good sized resort 15 to 20 minutes from the airport, with an efficient shuttle which has you get registration out of the way on your trip in. If you arrive early like we did just pack a beach bag and grab it out of your suitcase on arrival at the hotel. The check in at 3pm is very efficient. It's not one of the huge expansive places that you have to take a shuttle around. No one was trying to sell us time shares either. Very safe environment. Some rocks which you should be careful of at low tide, but help at high tide. You can get snorkels and find tropical fish just outside the swimming ropes, go at low tide.. The fish think you're going to feed them and surround you. Many opportunities to book excursions around and off the island. Nice expanse of beach with no other resorts around. There are daily activities by the pool and the wonderful friendly staff are encouraging people to join, but not too pushy. You'll see them at night putting on the variety of shows, mainly dancing to themes. One night a week there's a beach show too. The food was quite good, various salads, fruit, and freshly prepared items from the grill, as well with plenty of choice at the buffet. Breakfast has made to order eggs. They aren't very good at clearing away dishes though. We had vegan and a vegetarian with us and they were able to find something good every day. The pre-booked service restaurants have to be advised in advance. They all have their set 4 course menus with various selections. Getting the ice machines to work is a bit of a challenge, and there are sea gulls and wasps around the beach bar. The rooms are all the same, typical North American Standard, not too big, but very clean and cool. Wi-Fi is good even in the rooms. Solar heated showers take a little while for the water to heat up. I'd say the ocean view was worth it. We liked this for a family vacation and found it was very good value. We agreed we'd return.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Hotel staff & management are trying but some aspects of the property are in dire need of TLC

You can tell that the staff and management of the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach Resort are trying hard to please their guests most of the time and everyone worked so hard at it. Please know that we appreciated the effort because after-all, we had gone for rest and relaxation. The common grounds of the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach Resort are well maintained. We had a gardenview room but even when quizzing other guests who had booked ocean-view rooms, their experiences were similar. The food and service in the Bamboo and Italian a la carte restaurants were good. Those were the only two a la carte restaurants we attended. The food at the buffet was mediocre most of the time. All that being said, we didn't go for a posh room or upscale dining. We went for the R &R, culture, climate, beach/ocean and availability of water-sports included. The beach needed to be cleaned better. There was glass and plastic found on a couple of different days. However, the water-sport options were excellent! Hopefully, this candid feedback helps future guests with their expectations of this property and alerts management to the repairs and maintenance required.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: More Than I Had Hoped For!

This was the first time that I stayed at a resort that wasn't 5* so I wasn't sure to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. The biggest difference to me was the lobby, which is usually really large with a lot of marble but this one was small and mostly wood but made no difference to me because check in and check out was amazingly quick. I had read in the reviews that the rooms need updating, and they do, but they were clean and that's all I ask for. I don't spend a lot of time in my room so if the bed and shower are clean then I'm good. One thing that about this resort that was wonderful is the amount of chairs around the pool and on the beach and the pool towel service. We were able to change towels anytime the towel shack was open, which doesn't usually happen. I was also very happy to see that staff were allowed to eat in the buffet, which to me says they are treated well by the resort.

Great resort..food was fantastic...staff friendly...beach went on forever... Room was clean...only thing room fridge wasnt stocked with water..other than that..great holiday..very relaxing Ask for a room with a beach veiw.

Beautiful place beautiful location and hotel was beautiful everybody was very friendly the food was awesome we loved every second of it thank you very much Malia I would definitely go back to this beautiful please my honeymoon was awesome it was one of the best trip of our life thanks

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Great Vacation

We just came back from vacationing in the Bahamas - Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach. A very nice resort... the rooms were clean, the pool and beach were near each other, and the food was quite good and tasty. The entertainment staff came from various countries around the world... Italy, Greece, Canada. They were all very friendly and funny, especially Alex! A wonderful group who made our vacation even more fun and lively. They should be commended. Thanks for a memorable vacation!

Comfort Suites Paradise Island: Very Nice Resort

Hotel was very nice and clean. Great hospitality. Morning breakfast was a great way to start the day. Very short stroll to Atlantis. It was nice to get away from Atlantis at night. Much quieter at Comfort Suites with the pool open late each night.
