Riu Palace Riviera Maya: Fantastic Resort
Hotel resort was excellent it was our 3rd Riu vacation and we loved each one. The dining, service rooms were always spot on. Very well organized. The outdoor maintenance people made sure grounds were very well kept.
Riu Montego Bay: Best time
We had 6 people in our travel party to celebrate two 60th birthdays. All of us had a fantastic stay with no complaints. The food including the buffet was top notch. Going into the water at the beach was a bit of a challenge as there were many large pot hole type drop offs every few feet when walking in the water. There are no golf carts to bring you around the resort so expect to get your steps in which actually pays off since the food and drinks is so good. The night entertainment was very ente [... read more]
Riu Emerald Bay: Fantastic Hotel
The food was above average, hotel was kept clean including pool areas and lobby. This is a 1000 room hotel which is well built and the rooms have sufficient sound proofing . The room was the perfect size , nice big bathroom and closets and good privacy on the balcony with full ocean view If there is one complaint, the elevators were slow and I was on the 19th floor. As well, the mini bar fridge was not always fully stocked. A big shout out to Manuel and Francisco at the main bar lounge, they we [... read more]
Riu Palace Aquarelle: Great all around resort
The resort is very family or adult friendly. There was great entertainment for all ages. The children pool for our 2 yr old granddaughter was perfect with appropriate water slides and entertainment. The large waterslide park was great for the older kids in our group. OK maybe I was in their too.lol All pools and beach areas were well monitored by lifeguards and staff. The staff were all helpful, happy and fantastic. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food in the buffet was great. Great vari [... read more]
Riu Republica: Go elsewhere
We found the buildings to be rundown, 90% of staff clearly didn't want to be there . For a party resort , there really wasn't much to do . The night shows were good . Food mediocre ( don't bother with the steakhouse ) Wouldn't go back or recommend to friends/ family
Riu Palace Punta Cana: Rio palace Dominican republic Punta, Cana
I am not recommending this hotel at all. My room was dirty and falling apart with the bad smell of mould The food wasn’t good at all, not at the Buffet and not in Resturant The service was great people were helpful. The only problem they don’t speak English well only Spanish so it was hard to communicate with them. They tried to understand what we want, but not successfully.
Riu Bambu: Riu bambu review
the hotel was really good, food was good, pools, beach. Everything about it was lovely and likeable glad i booked to stay here. Would definitely recommend to friends and family looking to go to a resort in punta cana, Any of the riu resorts never disappoint!!
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: 2nd time and still fantastic,
My husband and I just spent a great week at the RIU Palace and the staff was amazing, the hotel is extremely clean and the food was pretty good. This location is not safe to swim at the ocean but the pools are very nice. Excursions are expensive but we went into town for$20 round trip by water taxi. Had a look at the RIU Baja and might try that next time as it’s a bit more modern. Would suggest NOT booking through Sunwing as they have the worst rooms at the resort and the flights are brutal. Riu Flamingos: Wonderful trip
We had a fabulous time. Usually we vacation in Cancun, but it has become too busy so we picked another Riu Hotel in the Jalisco. We found it excellent. Great fun, an excellent beach (without the issue if seated that affects the Crimean resorts in Mexico these days) and attentive staff. Great value for money.
Riu Flamingos: Horrible Horrifying experience!!!!
Very bad experience under legal proceedings at the moment will keep you posted, and then I will get into further details. Once I win this case, that was extremely disturbing and will make you never wanna fly Sunwing again for head to Mexico again. Hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello
Riu Dunamar: 5/10
Food: 4/10 Entertainment : 10/10 Local club: 0/10 Room: 8/10 I won’t come back for sure, the variety of food was poor, dj played only Spanish music, but the entertainment was very good. Service is also exceptional.
Riu Guanacaste: Riu Guanacaste - Nice resort, very full
Resort is nice set in a bay on the pacific coast of Costa Rica with a lovely dark sand beach. It had been very recently (last 3 weeks) expanded by 300 rooms to 1000 rooms and they were all occupied the week we were there so it was pretty busy. That said we were always able to get a pool lounger and there are lots of both shady and sunny spots. The bar was busy, but again we got served within a few minutes and the drinks were the usual tropical selection. The original rooms which we were i [... read more]
Riu Guanacaste: Amazing Resort
Resort hasn’t let me down, everything was up to par again.. 1 only thing would be the resort activity app, schedule not always followed Everything else great, will go back again, bar services great, the new building with new rooms and pool excellent,
Riu Palace Aquarelle: RIU Aquarelle Oalace
The hotel was clean and so were the grounds. Friendly, helpful staff. I found the floors inside the hotel were slippery. No matter what type of shoes you wore; flip flops, sneakers. The food was very good and something for everyone’s taste. There was one night, Thursday with the Latin dancers which was disappointing.
Riu Montego Bay: The resort itself was Ok
The beach was terrible. In the ocean the sand was mushy. Not nice. Check in was at 11 am, we new our room would not be ready until 3. we waited until 4:30 and no one contacted us. We went to the lobby and stood in line for 1 hour . They changed 3 out of the 4 rooms we had as they said they were not ready. No beer in our room every day. No coffee in the room everyday. No toilet paper. Hairdryer wasn't working , they came and fixed it but left the screws and garbage on the floor. At the buffet w [... read more]
Riu Palace Antillas: Very good

Riu Playa Blanca: Great Hotel
Had a great time. Close to airport after a 5 1/2 hour flight. ✈️ Four pools so none of them were over crowded. No air conditioning in restaurants. The resort grounds are very well kept. The sand on the beach is black so bring water shoes as very hot.
Riu Emerald Bay: Done
This was our 5th and last time to riu emerald bay, we where in the new section rooms are nice clean but locals have no respect for the resort and other people as the noise is terrible at night our 3 am take your pick food was still good except alacartes but that's always been like that hit and miss, bands playing on the beach is terrible everyone complains but public beach and locals like it so bands it is so for these couple reasons we will not be back.
Riu Palace Jamaica: Great resort
Friendly, clean and helpful resort. For an adult resort it was pretty quite and reserved. Daytime Entertainment team was excellent Food was great, big variety Paid for gardenview room but was given the lowest rated room as they did not have anything available unless I pay 35.00 per night ??
Riu Palace Antillas: AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING
After 2 travel disappointments (CUBA & PUNTA CANA) this was an amazing trip. Excellent service, staff were nice all smiles and seemed happy, food exceptional, premium quality and tasty with a lot of variety. The beach unbelievable... white soft sand, calm ocean waters, SWIMMABLE, fantastic weather, quality drinks, the list goes on and on. We are planning our return vacation already. I would recommend Riu Palace Antillas anytime.
