Sunscape Curacao Resort: Wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy

I don’t know what my travel agent was thinking, booking me into a family resort. All those screaming children , Like little pink air raid sirens going off constantly. The staff ranged from polite distain to downright rude. I didn’t get a single good nights sleep due to the unreal levels of noise coming from an adjacent bar. Seriously, my windows were vibrating. And the noise went on until 2 AM every morning: I had to swallow sleeping pills, use earplugs and pile every pillow on the  [... read more]bed over my head just to filter out some of the noise. This made for an absolutely miserable holiday. And to top it all off, the beach wasn’t even real. It was sand trucked in from somewhere else and piled on the hard ground. A definite waste of my vacation dollar

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Sunscape Domencian Beach

When we checked in it was horrible never got the room level we were promised it took them 2 days. Then the food was the same everyday nothing changed . The entertainment was great! Pools and bars great! Staff in the restaurants was awful sometimes you don’t get the food you order. Chopsticks restaurants was the better and freshest food.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great Beach

Sunscape resort in Curacao leaves a lot to be desired except for its fabulous beach. The staff is quite nice but not well trained. Management is very poor. Rooms are not well maintained. Food is passable. Too much loud music and noise all the time. Since the resort is quite small, you can’t escape it and it is hard to relax or sleep at night with this drumbeat going on all the time. We have been to many resorts and never have had this experience. Quite disappointing. I am not sure if our travel agent knew about all this. It definitely is overpriced and not worth it. This resort should not be recommended.

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Great time!

Beautiful resort and very clean! Food was great with lots of choices in restaurants! The rooms were updated and great size! All around great choice for all inclusive resorts at great price....will definitely come back!!

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Good vacation, but...

We traveled from December 2nd to December 9th. Overall it was a great tip and we enjoyed the resort, although 3 out of 4 of us ended up with the stomach issues. I recovered after about 4 days but my kids, aged 3 and 5, did not fare so well. I took them to the doctor upon the return from Punta Cana and their stool samples were sent to the lab for testing. Today I received a phone call from Toronto Public Health and they told me that my 3 year old daughter had salmonella. This is extremely disappo [... read more]inting and worrisome. I wanted to write a really nice review for the resort as we really enjoyed our stay, but will not do so now. Clearly, food handling/cleanliness is a problem.

Sunscape Splash: Great Resort!

The hotel was very clean, friendly staff, and amazing food! Rooms were very good(beds a little hard for my liking, but had everything we needed, with friendly staff around to attend to anything needed. Outside grounds were very well kept with pools clean and beautiful. There were always staff to wait on us if we chose. Very happy we went!

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Nice resort

Good resort but could be much better. Half the staff seemed disinterested and the other half was brilliant. Resolving room isssues was very slow. Not being able to book into the restaurants was a joke and very frustrating.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Mediocre resort

The hotel was ok. The rooms were a good size. Beds were old and uncomfortable. We asked for a cot because we had two children and they brought in a 3rd bed. Had no room to move. Food was absolutely awful, they only made 3 waffles at a time. No bacon. Undercooked sausages.

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Wicked resort

Was my first time going to an all Inclusive and I had such a blast. I can not wait to go again. I would highly recommend sunscape to anybody. The pools were clean, the beach and staff were super amazing. I loved the food, lots of places to chose from. The room service was excellent aswell.

Sunscape Sabor Cozumel: amazing cycling

hotel was awesome...service was spectacular and food was delicious. The cycling along the ocean is amazing and very safe. The grounds are kept tidy and the entertainment provided on the resort was enjoyable. We were a group of 8 and everyone were impressed with the resort. We will be coming back again next year for the bike race and relaxation on the beach.

Sunscape Sabor Cozumel: Excellent Staff at the Sunscape Sabor Hotel

This is our second visit to the Sunscape Sabor Cozumel. A lovely resort with wonderful staff. There have been improvements to some of the restaurants which made our stay better. Very clean and nice grounds. Great entertainment.

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Great time with a great place and people!

Everything was wonderful. The food so yummy. The entertainment great and fun! The sun club is definitely worth it. Rooms were so big and nice. Everything was very clean and the average works well. We were treated like gold. Spoiled in every way. I want to go back! Everyone was so amazing.

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Paradise!!!!

This was a great trip.all the way around.air Canada rep meeting us was very cool walked us right to the check-in when we returned. The hotel was fabulous..clean and user-friendly. Staff was the best..friendly always asking if you need something. The pool was nice and real close to the beach. Food was outstanding. Only drawback was there's staff working with others agencies selling timeshares. So they kind of hound you..FYI.this is a family resort..lots of kids.was good for us a we have a 10  [... read more]yr old.. we went Nov 4/11. Black flag last 3 days as the waves were.11ft..high besides the timeshare sellers this was a fantastic vacation looking forward to our next stay..deluxe ocean view was our room..view was breath talking...

we had a room that leaked water from the room above. our room number was 2326. I was told to wait in my room for someone to come check it out at 7 pm. no one ended up showing up to do anything all night after waiting and calling front desk 4 times. we did end up getting a new room (2414) a day later. this room was better but you could see that there was the same water problem in it as 2326. the beach was awesome!! a little rocky but I had no issues there. the pool we were never in. food in the [... read more] buffet was the same everyday. very bland, not good at all. the Italian was great. the restaurant at the beach was great as well except for the rats!! lmfao! we didn't do the oceanic or Japanese as my wife has a food allergy to seafood. staff were great depending on where you were at.

Sunscape Puerto Plata: beautiful resort

Super clean, rooms huge, service fantastic, people really nice and helpful. Close to the airport. Lots of trees, shaded beach. Pool area clean, nice chairs. No bracelets and no reservations for the restaurants - unusual and really cool.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Ok resort

Upon arrival we were checked in pretty quick. When we got to our room, I was so disappointed. The rooms look much nicer online. We had booked the Romantic Bayview Suite Sun Club. The room was basically a king bed, TV on the wall & a stand with a coffee maker on it. The only thing nice about the room was the view from our balcony. The balcony was huge but only had a small wicker table & 2 chairs. Went down for supper at the buffet & it was ok. The best place we ate was at the Barefoot Grill by th [... read more]e pool. The room service menu sucks! There are only a handful of things on it & nothing appetizing. We ate at the Italian restaurant one night & it took an hour for my husband to get his appetizer which was soup. It was a 2 hour dining experience. Food was good though.This is a good resort for families looking for a reasonable get away. It is not worth it to upgrade your room or get the Sun Club. Would we go back, I doubt it. The old saying you get what you pay for rings true with this resort. In saying this, the staff are extremely friendly. Cannot complain about that at all.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Very Nice Resort

Overall it was very pleasant. Weather was very warm. Water was pleasantly warm. Beach was a little rocky to enter the water in most places, had to find a spot to enter where it was clear of rocks. Entertainment was good and they had activities ever evening. Rooms were spacious and well kept. Treks into town were safe and easy. Overall good time !!

Sunscape Splash: Casual Resort

This Hotel is more like a 3 star hotel. Grounds were acceptable. Beach was rocky and not inviting to me, so it cost me to venture to Negril for swimming. Room was well cleaned and Fridge stock with water and soft drinks, beer but did not used much of it. Food lacks variety, especially at b/fast time, eggs, eggs and more eggs, over cooked bacon and mini dried-up sausages. Dangerous condition in lobby when it rains, too much water on floor. WI-FI is poor. Entertainment is  [... read more]passable, usually is the employees who performs. Cudos to Marcha-Lee, Tishane, Soneka andfew others. It is kids friendly and fun for the little ones.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Sunscape Curacao

The resort was very nice, located directly on the beach! The food selection was quite good, the buffet needs to install fans as it is open air and extremely hot when you are sitting to eat. The room was very spacious and has everything that you need. Recommend this resort to others looking to have a relaxing beach vacation!!

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: The restful experience that I really needed !!

I must say, the best part of this resort is the staff....they make it happen for their guests!. Also, I was quite impressed with the Filet Steak at the French Restaurant....the meat was imported from Argentina, who have the most tender beef....due to "lazy beef"....from the flat lands. As for the buffet restaurants, one can always find something they will truly like due to the diversity. As of now, my favorite fruit is "Papaya". Thanks to the Sunscape team!
