Grand Memories Santa Maria: VERY GOOD RESORT FOR THE VALUE WE PAID

HOTEL IS VERY GOOD BUT RS WERE LITTLE UNACEPTABE TOO MUCH OF MOSQUITO IN SIDE THE ROOMS. POOL WERE VRY CLEAN .BEACH WAS AMAZING.NOT ENOUGH ENTERTAINMENT.BARS WERE VERY GOOD FOOD WAS GOOD NO SHORTAGE ANYMORE .AT LAST WE HAD GREAT TRIP AT GRAND MEMORIES SANTA MARIA.

Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful Resort.

Clean charming, beautiful view and amazing maid. The airport Toronto lost my luggage but I didn't stress much. Every one at Resort where kind and helpful. I want to thank Barbara, Alex and my wonderful maid.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Do not go to this resort

Positive: grounds are mostly beautiful and well maintained. The beach is perfect and exactly what I was hoping to see. Negative: FOOD is horrible. 70% of the menu is cabbage, potatoes and sausage for breakfast lunch and dinner. Buffet is always cold, dirty plates, no option for drinks or juice. Completely disappointing! HOTEL is old and dirty. Mold in our sink, furniture is dirty, drink and bar areas are grimy and dirty. Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Need to Improve Service

-Room has been full with cockroaches and mosquito -Asking for drinking water bottle, there were no one to place in our room- call at reception multiple times but no response and hang phone, I WENT TO RECEPTION AND ASKED FOR DRINKING WATER. -No proper room cleaning and bed sheet was with cockroaches' blood spot. - There were no vegetarian options in food and restaurants are very dirty and full of with flies. After 20 mins he told me your pizza is ready. so strange.. -Only 1 lady butler who named Mercedes, she is so king and fulfill our requests such as drinking water and asked everything is ok in your room? She organized and booked multiple times dinner at restaurant for us. She is amazing.

Paradisus Los Cayos: Good but could be better!

Purchased the Royal service but everything was not as it seemed. My sister and I were excited to have the works for this vacation. We had amazing butlers (Yassar & Jannah), but we slowly realized that the features we saw online were no longer in effect. No turndown service, no mini snacks, no ironing services, no pool towel bag and no pillow menu. We did get a beach and pool concierge but only after filing a complaint (we were ignored for over 2 hours and were the only people at the private pool [... read more]). While we typically go without these services, we did pay quite a bit more to treat ourselves, only to realize we didn't get much of an upgrade. The biggest disappointment was the food. We knew the reviews going into Cuba, however this was next level. The buffet was not good. Breakfast was the best meal (bread and eggs are great there), but do not come here expecting decent food. The a la cart restaurants were essentially the same meals but a change of protein (cabbage, mash and chicken one day and cabbage, mash and pork the next). Once again, we did complain to the food and bev manager (shoutout to Jerry), and there were some improvements made. I would note that this place doesn't do all the cute and fancy drinks. Only some of the bartenders there do (shoutout to Hector and Antony). Beach was BEAUTIFUL! This is the primary reason we came to this part of cuba. It did not disappoint!! The room was nice (we were given the wrong room upon arrival but got it switched) (shoutout to Dillarmi). A/C worked great and it was clean. Bed was comfy! The shows were nice. This is definitely not a party resort, its very very quiet. We did find a roach in the room the morning we woke up. I don't think this was due to the cleanliness of the room. Roaches were constantly outside. On the note of bugs, there is a SERIOUS MOSQUITO PROBLEM. Each night my sister and I got about 8-10 bites each night. It was terrible. We ended up with over 20 bites within the last two days. We are still itching haha. Seriously, beware. Wifi was a pain as you always had to sign in each time (kept getting disconnected) and you had to get your account renewed every 30 hours for wifi access. Overall we rate it a 7/10. Some of the staff were not nice but others were outstanding. We did complain to the GM, and were given complimentary items to make up for the poor service and that was appreciated. Would not come back here, but appreciated the effort.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: A great time

We went in mid-May with some friends and had a great time. Beach was amazing. Resort was very clean. Staff were great—big shout out to Javier and Maria Rosa our butlers—they were amazing hosts. Darian at the lobby bar and the guys at the beach bar were always keeping us hydrated. Jorge was also great working the towel area. Yulia our cleaner kept the room very tidy. Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: A wonderful vacation

Our stay at Grand Sirenis was enjoyable. This is a newer hotel which kept their rooms clean, bars stocked, coconuts available, and no shortage of food. The staff was particularly friendly and attentive where ever you went. Our favourite was Elizabeth who attended to us in the lobby bar. She is very friendly and such a sweetheart! Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Elegant, excellent service

Excellent service, hotel are elegant, beautiful beach... Good house keeping, the beach are beautiful and very clean . The maid and Host are always available. The Bell boy drive us around resort are extremely professional...

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Nice, quiet, friendly resort.

Beautiful beach! Buildings, pools, gardens...all look very attractive! We were greeted with champagne and great hospitality. The food was a little less than before but we knew that before we booked. Breakfast was my favorite meal, pastries, eggs etc. And the fruit was amazing! Entertainment at night was wonderful! Overall a very nice stay!

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Everything you need is there

Everything you need ito have a very pleasant vacation is there. Nice beach, beautiful oceanfront, clean rooms, satisfying food and most of all, very kind service and friendly atmosphere. Cuba has it's supply limitations and various shortages but package price definitely reflects that. You will not get similar vacation value for your money in other carabean islands for sure.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Amazing Resort..!!

It is a highly recommended hotel.I must highlight the excellent quality of service by very professional people. Top quality food. I am a very satisfied customer for the stay that I enjoy my vacation 100%.

The One Gallery Hotel: Amazing resort

beautiful place everting is close the beach pool restaurant, for people the can't walk is good , if you need for anything talk with LORA costumer service the help you , the hotel is niece and clean .

This place could be a 5* if it was kept cleaner. The rooms are very nice, however, not properly cleaned. I don't know if it was just the maid taking care of my section, or if it was a problem all over. My room was not cleaned, except for the bed, for my entire stay. The bugs that were on the floor on my first day, were there for the whole week. The bathroom vanity was not cleaned at all. The hair and the dirty glass was there all week. The bathrooms in the main area were disgustingly d [... read more]irty. I had to walk out when I tried to go use one. The seats in the buffet restaurant were very dirty. The fruit always had swarms of fruit flies on them. The plates always had flies sitting on them. There were always mosquitoes and flies all around the hotel grounds and areas, except for the beach. After dinner we would just to go to our rooms to avoid the mosquitoes. If all the above would be tended to, then this place would be a nice place to revisit. The beach is absolutely beautiful and that's what made up for everything else. I would recommend this hotel because it is nice, but like I said, only if these problems were addressed.

Playa Luxury Cayo Las Brujas: nice resort

beautiful grounds, and as for Cuba - a lot of palm trees , sadly there was no shade at the pools, no palapas , no umbrellas so you chase the shade from palm trees , lucky for us it was easy as there was only 38 guest at the resort at the time lol , only two restaurants opened - one for breakfast and lunch , and one a la carte for supper. This was our first time in Cuba and will be our last. We did research, read lots of reviews, talked to friends & family so we didn’t go with very high expectations. We were not prepared for what we walked into, the bugs were so bad, we were swarmed every time we left the room. We finished 2 full bottles of bug spray but it didn’t seem to work. The only safe place was the room after you killed the ones that got in while you were running into the room. The second big issue was the food, I was prepared for bland food and same food options everyday but I was not prepared for the whole family to be sick after each meal. By the end of the trip we started skipping meals just to avoid being sick. The buffet was filled with bugs on the food and stains all over the chairs. We got home 2 days ago and we are still recovering. The staff was OK but mostly seemed like they didn’t want to be there or help. We were supposed to get 3 restaurant dinners but they said only one restaurant was available for one day. Only 2 waters delivered per day for a room with a family of 4 so we would have to go to the bar and hope they had water. We were ready to go home within 3 days and actually booked our next trip while we were there because we didn’t feel like it was a vacation at all. Very disappointed.

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: A wonderfull resort

I have been to Cuba many times the food at this resort was the best there were no shortages the staff were great in all areas my room was clean and of course the best beach lots of chairs I had a great week and will be returning

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Amazing resort and beach!

I can't say enough about how lovely this resort was! The service and people there were so accommodating and lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The beach is the nicest, most clear beautiful beach I've ever seen! Definitely the highlight of the trip! The food was pretty good and the quesadilla at the beach bar was delicious. Our butlers Javier and Marie Rose were amazing and always made sure we were taken care of. Grand Memories Santa Maria: Nice resort, excellent beach.

Designed for 5 stars resort, the gardens are beautiful, with tall imperial palms and plenty of flowering bushes. It is easy to move around with the electric carts. Rooms are clean, with no bugs, but may need some TLC. We had a pool view room with two beds, quite large. The CORALAND Music Festival happened during our stay. Nicely organized, in the evenings on the beach, with food and drinks, and also pool parties during the day. We had the Diamond Club bracelets with free access to the festiv [... read more]al. No one talks about Covid 19, pool is clean, and we drank water only from the bars or restaurants. We did not get sick or anything. On the weekend the resort was full of people, probably locals.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Good resort for relaxing 😎

The beach was amazing! Great service, and staff was friendly especially Elizabeth Barabara who made it more memorable stay. 😎☀️🌻🐠🏖️ Food is ok for me, I brought my own ketchup and chilli sauce so it was good for me. The grounds were beautiful. The 24 hour snack bar was actually open 24 for 24 hours with good food. Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: My happy place

I am always amazed at how beautiful this resort it. The grounds are always so well kept. The service is second to none and the beaches are spectacular. Armando, Pablo, & Delvis are the absolute best at the pool bar. No shortages of anything that I could see.
