Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful resort.

We went here for a wedding and love this resort. This is a large resort but very easy to navigate. The grounds, buildings, etc. are beautiful and very well maintained. The gazebo used for the actual service overlooked the ocean and was breathtaking. The rooms are large with a separate bathroom that my husband and I could use at the same time to get ready. Loved the Mexican restaurant. Did find service a little slow. At the Italian restaurant left after waiting over an hour and half for our food. Other wedding party members went another night and service was good. Was not happy with the check in as we waited well beyond the 3:00 pm time frame. Did not end up in the same building as the rest of the wedding party but given the option if we wanted to wait longer. Finally given a room around 5:30 and we were happy with the location. Stayed in building 27, room 2704. Loved having access to 3 different beaches. Did not have enough chairs at one time but staff provided the additional chairs needed. The pool area was beautiful with lots of chairs. I only went to one show however my husband went to several and enjoyed all. They did have an elevator at the main lobby which gave you access to the lower level and ramps to access the beach area. It was a hit and miss with staff but overall friendly. Hats off to Daniel Rickette and Kemar Lakeman for aerobics and games and Sashane Williams who was always a delight at the infinity bar ad the nightly show. On our list of resorts to return to but earlier in the season as April was quite humid.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Beautiful location

Amazing view. We really enjoyed our visit! Clean, great for the whole family. Viktor at the water sport was very nice and helpful. The Pop team was very good and engaging . The mini zoo was fun and the à la carte restaurants were very good.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: BEAUTIFUL RESORT

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well maintained, beaches are clean and the rooms are well appointed. The food is good but not great. Although there is a large variety in the Buffets and Specialty restaurants they don't change up the food enough. It is also usually lukewarm not hot. But the food is certainly on par with any other luxury resort in the Caribbean. Only suggestion is if you take a ocean villa ensure that your request a room facing away from the Main Pool if you wa [... read more]nt quiet at night. Most concerts or events are held at the pool bar area and the sound carries throughout the complex till late at night. If you want to go to bed earlier say 9 or 10 p.m. try and get a room facing to the west and not the north. Overall I would highly recommend this resort.

TRS Turquesa: Very Nice Vacation

We booked a Royal Junior Suite and I emailed the resort with a request to be near the beach and on a lower level (knee problem with stairs). I got room 5011 which is on the bottom floor of building 50 with a nice view of the main pool, very convenient to both the pool and beach. The beach at this resort is beautiful and goes on for miles. There was very little seaweed while we were there, really nice beach for walking and swimming. There is wait service on the beach for both drinks and food. We saw people ordering things from Helios menu and getting them delivered to their lounger. We didn't do this because we like to take a break from the beach or pool at lunch. The pool area is very nice as well and has shaded tables and chairs as well as loungers and huts. The pool bar stays open quite late and has music, so this is an alternative to going to the lobby or the other sections. At night the pool changes colour from blue, green, red, violet etc. very pretty to watch. We really liked that we had the option of ordering from a menu at breakfast, lunch and dinner at both the beach club (Helios) and the gourmet restaurant (Capricho). Both of these restaurants had beautiful (well shaded) outdoor sections as well as indoor - Helios with a view of the beach and ocean, Capricho more a garden setting. During the morning Helios often had live entertainment - violin or saxophone and the rest of the time nice electronic type music which could be hear on the beach area as well. In the evening there was live entertainment on a stage shared by the outdoor sections of Capricho and La Boheme. We went to Helios (favourite thing on menu was crab cakes - which we ordered on several occasions), Capricho (lunch menu changes everyday, plus has a small but very nice buffet as well), Kusko (wonderful Teriyaki Salmon), La Boheme (went twice favourites were French Onion Soup, Cheese Fondue and the Cafe Paris Lobster), Bhogali (delicious Lamb Roghan Josh), Las Torres(wanted to try the main Palace buffet at dinner) and Bohio (once to try the Palace lunch buffet near the beach). We found the food and service to be really good in all of these. We also had the use of all the facilities of the other resorts at the Palladium complex, so we could check out the live entertainment in the other lobbies and their restaurants/bars, but we tended to stay mostly in the TRS Turquesa section because we felt that the quality and service was better and things were more convenient to our room. We really enjoyed our stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Disappointed

Check-in and check-out was long and inefficient. Staff were not friendly and they were unorganized. We did not arrive at a busy time and there was 7 of us checking in. Room was the best part of our trip, the renovated loft suite was perfect for our family of 3. Main buffet was not good. A lot of deep fried food and the hours did not work for our family. It opens at 7 am, 12:30 pm - 3 pm and 7 pm for dinner, if anyone has young children I am sure you can sympathize that these hours are not helpfu [... read more]l for eating times. Some days they would not open at all and we found out it was because of an international military conference - which I should mention that staff could have warned guests about. Having a military helicopters land on the resort grounds and seeing military members step out in uniform, and not knowing why was very scary. We ate all our meals at the Palace or the Bravaro. Room service was slow and they made many mistakes with our orders. Pools - good for the morning, very dirty by the afternoon. Beach - no complaints. Kids Club - our kids walked in and walked back out, the staff were loud and aggressive. One actually scared my son who is very used to a daycare setting. All to say, we would go back if we had to but would stay at the Bravero side. It seemed much cleaner, friendlier staff and better food!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Amazing resort!!!

We really liked this resort. Was very clean, rooms were great, staff was very friendly and helpful. Service and food at all the restraunts was good. The selection at buffet was good for all people. Nightly entertainment was fantastic. Only downfall was there are a lot of stairs which isn’t great for wheel chairs or strollers. But would definitely visit again!!!!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great weather, fabulous pools

Biggest problem right from the start is staff spoke little to no English. my guess is over 95% of resort folks couldn't understand any English at all. room was great for young lovers but for two senior sisters, it posed problems. bed was king size (though I booked 2 queen). you had to use a step stool to enter tub. bed sheets were not changed often enough, face cloths only available on 1 day. for a 4.5 star that just isn't acceptable. the good = tons of pools, great location, weather a [... read more]nd company I went with were a 10+

Grand Palladium Vallarta: 18th times there and continue to return once or twice a year!

Easy to get to from anywhere in Canada. Great value, amazing property and staff. So many options for food and secret areas to chill. No other resorts around like many areas, you feel like you have your own private retreat, not to mention the best surf break in the area!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great family resort

Had such a beautiful seven days with my family and friends, beautiful beach and pools and night life was great. Perfect destination for family young and old. The resort was only 1/2 hr from the airport which was perfect, food was good especially the steak house and the music was great in the evening.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Grand palladium

The resort was beautiful we stayed in 2519 and they were having problems with sewer the smell was very intense inside and out if you walked by outside you could smell the stink was not enjoyable was very disappointing over all stay was good would not want to ever go through that again my son got married it was beautiful though

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: wedding party

My husband and I had a marvelous week at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. We were there for our daughters' wedding. Service was excellent, staff so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Rooms were beautiful and cleaned daily. Outside staff kept the resort looking nice.The beaches were amazing especially Sunset Cove. Lots of beach chairs and shade available. I am unable to walk far and loved the constantly running shuttles . So important. Lots of beach toys to try. Water was clear and warm.  [... read more]I would highly recommend this resort for any age group. We felt very safe during our stay. Thanks to the staff for all they did for us.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Very Big Resort

Everything was very nice about this resort except for the following: 1.shuttle service was very poor. 2. I was told that there would be distilled water for my CPAP machine on the resort to buy but there wasn’t and the staff was not very helpful in helping me try to get some off the resort, which was very disappointing!

This resort was beautiful complete with all the amenities The service was excellent, the staff was excellent and the food was incredible. Would we go back - absolutely. I would recommend this resort to everyone - if you have children then it is a plus resort to go to - lots of entertainment day and night.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful beach top notch food

The resort itself was wonderful, the beaches are beautiful. Very relaxing time away. The food was to die for. I can’t stress this enough. The best food I’ve ever had on an all inclusive. Ever. My only real complaints are that the shower was plugged with black hair before we got to our room. The hair was removed eventually but the shower was still plugged so we couldn’t use it and had to use the tub.

The resort seemed a little dated. Not one paper towel dispenser worked Seemed like if you didn't leave the maid a daily tip she didn't do as nice a job, no toilet paper or Kleenex after a cleaning one day Overall clean, friendly staff The pool and beaches were nice

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Food is good but hard to get reservations to restaurants. Out of the way for shopping or just walking around. Not suitable for people with mobility issues pools are great and adult pool is great with no kids allowed you have choice of either

Hotel was very well kept and recently renovated. Food wasn’t bad. We had excellent customer service and staff were all very welcoming and friendly! Location was amazing - on a cliff right by the beach made for great views from our ocean view room. Hotel excursions such as catamaran rides and surf lessons were all included in “all-inclusive prices.” A wonderful family result overall!

TRS Turquesa: Amazing Resort...repeat customers

this was our 7th time back here, we love the swim up rooms, very quiet and relaxing. from the minute we arrived we were looked after, bell boys all excellent. Dionisio, front desk manager was excellent as usual. our butler Charlie, excellent as well...bar staff at bar near swim ups had great staff Esmerelda and Camille. lobby bar staff Jonathan and Frank really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great family friendly resort

This was a beautiful resort, we've been to many but the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the grounds and room, and the activities left us having to prioritize what we would do first. The kids club in particular was absolutely amazing, the staff there were so involved and sweet with the children and had a practice hour and performance for the kids every night that our kids were absolutely thrilled to participate in, the water slide provided hours of entertainment, the foam party, reg [... read more]gae dance parties, water spinning and so much more meant fun, total relaxation, and memories for a lifetime
