Not sure where to begin… Iberostar Resorts remain a wonderful place to vacation – where your every need is met. This is our second stay at an Iberostar Resort and it never disappointed. We loved the beautiful grounds of Quetzal – It is as if the architects took a piece of jungle and carefully decided where each building and feature would fit in best, without spoiling its superb surroundings. Wildlife such as the comical, and sometime cheeky, coatimundi; agouti, grey squirrel, and black iguana abound in every exquisite area, howler monkeys shout noisily in the tree-tops, while the eagles fly high overhead scanning for prey. Exotic birds move freely in and out of the resort; colourful parrots, majestic pink flamingos, swans, grey crowned cranes. heron as well as many smaller species. The beautiful walks that meander through the resort are alive with the pleasant sound of waterfalls, and babbling streams – If you love nature you will love this place. While this resort has all the modern amenities one comes to expect of a five-star hotel, it delivers even more with its setting. Just minutes from the warm Caribbean Sea and a wide flat beach with white powder-soft sand, it has an illusion of being in the middle of a rain-forest. Very clever on the part of the designers! The meals were scrumptious, I have to commend the skill and artistry of the pastry chef – Alejandro – He is world class and his amazing creations have to be seen to be believed - Truly amazing and mouth-watering. Our room was kept spotless by the inconspicuous housekeeping team who left rose petal adorned towel creation on our comfortable king-size bed. The evenings were whiled away with awesome meals eaten at the elegant specialty restaurants and entertainment of a high standard. From reception to grounds-keepers, all the staff were friendly and polite. Having raved on about how much we enjoyed our stay there is one person I need to single out. Upon arrival at the airport there was a miscommunication between Iberoservice and the Sunwing agents and we were left without a shuttle service to the hotel. After waiting in the hot sun for 2 hours we decided to grab a taxi. At the concierge desk an exceptionally helpful YOUSEF took us under his wing and went above and beyond his duty, to sort out the issue. He made several phone calls, walked us to the Iberoservice desk where we received little assistance and then took us to the Sunwing representative, Antonio, who without hesitation refunded our taxi fare in full. I know that it is this kind of service that gives a business a good reputation, turns a bad situation into an opportunity to shine, and keeps customers coming back. YOUSAF – you are an amazing compliment to Iberostar, you are passionate to serve your customers and care only about their satisfaction. Because of you, we will continue to come back to Iberostar.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Incredible Experience

From the moment I called Trip Central this was a great experience. I was guided towards choosing this epic report and paid in a few moments. Very confident that I got the best price. I can’t even stress enough how amazing the resort was! Everything from the service to food was pristine! A big big shout out to Daniel, Alfredo & Jorge at RS. We will 100% be back and can’t wait! You need to have breakfast, lunch and dinner and La Palapa if you’re staying with Royal Service. Avoid the buffets because the a la cartes are just 100% worth it!

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: 4th time still a charm!

Can't say enough about this resort, from the short travel time from Cancun airport, the amazing staff, wonderful food and overall ambience, Secrets Silversands is a definite place to choose to relax and unwind. Accommodating staff at all levels, restaurants with top grade meals and comfortable rooms. In addition to the main pool, where the Entertainment Team does the majority of their games, there are smaller pools surrounding many of the buildings, allowing a "swim up" room feeling. Carlos cleaning our room Salvador and Freddy for breakfast each morning Felipe kept the drinks coming to us by the pool and our room Jorge and Mario at Veranda Bar Ana, Dylan, Charlie, Alfonso, Abigail, Gustavo.....Your Entertainment Team! Cesar in the Spa Our visit in January we noticed they had Clamato! so this trip we brought packages of celery salt for each of the bars and explained how a Canadian Ceasar was made and we, and others, enjoyed rimmed drinks! There are also 2 separate private Facebook groups solely for Silversands, where people who have never been there can ask questions and recommendations, or those that are there at the time, or in past, can add comments. Met a couple of people while I was there through it. Been to many destinations over the years and can honestly say that we have never met a better staff. Only downfall, if you're a beach person, not a very good beach and in September, with all the hurricanes in the Caribbean, the seaweed was even heavier in the water and on the beach than we have seen it before, and it stank, so it made sitting in the hot tub by the beach, unbearable for me. Only negative thing I can say!

El Dorado Royale: Amazing resort! Amazing Staff!

Had an amazing time. Lovely looking resort with lots of options for swimming and fun. Was particularly blown away by the quality of the food. Jojo's Caribbean Beach Grill was our personal favorite for both lunch and dinner. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Tons to do, beautiful beaches and they grow a lot of their own produce. Would highly recommend.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Relaxing getaway!

I highly recommend booking this resort! Its very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are amazing. We were upgraded to a swim up suite upon check in. There is a decent amount of seaweed along the beach but the resort staff does a great job of cleaning it every day.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Always a good time

My husband and I were back at the Coba for the 12th time in 10 ten years. We always go back because it feels like home. We did miss seeing Viktor he was out having an operation on his knee. We took a ride over to see another friend at Sian Ka’an and to our disappointment he was no longer there. We were told he left and went to Canada. Good for him but bad for the hotel. Rene and Paulino at the pool bar were great. Food is always good and the people are what keep us coming back.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing resort!

This is by far one of the best resorts I’ve stayed at! And I have been to a lot. The staff is great, the hotel is extremely clean and food is amazing. Ideal hotel for couples. It’s just a bit of a trek to beach but the shuttle comes pretty often. Very quiet atmosphere at night after the nightly entertainment which we loved. I would deiniflty come back to this resort again and again

Our hotel was Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an in Mexico. It was simply AMAZING!!! The room was spacious, always clean with excellent service. The grounds were so very beautifully well kept and lush. Oh my 😋, the food was first class all the way. The variety was astounding 🌺 All of the staff were excited to be of service to us. This included the waiters, bartenders, lobby staff and shopkeepers. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Waterpark & Kids Club - treasures!

My kids (aged 5 and 4) loved the kids club and the waterpark. The Kids club has scheduled activities, and we can always gauge (by talking to the staff) whether the activities are appropriate for our kids or not. My kids looked forward to going and never want to leave. Coba is the furthest away from the beach out of all three associated resorts. We are not beach people, so we didn't mind one bit. Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

Resort was beautiful. Service is was incredible. Food was the best we’ve had at an all inclusive. The resort was half empty so we were upgraded to the preferred adults only side with an ocean view suite. Only down side was the seaweed. Some days the smell was really bad. No fault of the resort. They worked hard to clean it.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: THE BEST Resort!

This resort opened up in December 2017 and you can tell that they put in a lot of work to maintain the quality of the facility. This place is breathtakingly beautiful. Everything you see in the pictures is exactly what you see in real life. The service is top notch, rooms are amazing and there are lots of options for food. The best part of staying at Hotel Xcaret was experiencing the all inclusive tours/parks. Honestly, we're convincing all of our friends that they HAVE to go here and it's been an easy sell so far!!

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: 2nd visit .. 25th anniversary

Sandos playacar resort 2nd visit in 2 years There were pluses and minuses to this trip this time Pluses Food was great everywhere! Housekeeping was fabulous We appreciated the added security at beach that kept the locals from being to pushy with their goods no was no and they were told to move along Bartenders were great! Minuses The spa staff...you are constantly spoke to about spa packages, some are.good they recognize you and carry on but the one thing that really got me is you are  [... read more]constantly seeing them at the beach and at the pool but for them to come in the restaurant when your eating breakfast that was just over the top for me I understand they are promoting and more than likely getting a commission from their "sale" but there needs to be boundaries. The adult pool last time we were there there was usually 2 bartenders 1 server and in the afternoon would be entertainment/games and some good music - it's not this way anymore there were no games etc the bartenders are absolutely fabulous love them to pieces they are doing then work of many people having that added entertainment guy certainly helped last time he helped keep control over the pool this year many "pool rules" were constantly broken and you can't expect the bartenders to see & stop it... we like to have a good time games and entertainment add the fun aspect not just pounding back as much booze as humanly possible and unfortunately for us this was lacking this trip, we very much missed David E (congrats on your promotion) The shuttle service from adult side to main area by beach - sometimes it's good often times it's not, it is a long walk definetly room for improvement with the much needed service but much appreciated when we were able to use it. A heart felt thank you to Fabian, Mario, & Luis for their excellent service & spanish lessons at the adult pool LOL!

The resort was very clean and the personnel were very nice and respectful. Definitely will go there again. The food was amazing and staff very professional and happy people. Everyone was welcoming .Definitely should try

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Amazing resort

The resort was gorgeous! Room very clean as well as the rest of the spaces. The views of the ocean, just as they appear on their site. Great ambience and food for the most part, although their a la carte restaurants sometimes missed the mark.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort Mayan Riviera Mexico

Resort was lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Although, I personally like a smaller resort, and one closer to the airport, this one took us over one hour to arrive, and one and one half hrs back to airport. Took me a couple of days to (sort of) find my way around. Food was plentiful, but hot food was luke warm. We (with the exception of once) ate at the buffet. I had an annoying noise in my room, which staff were finally able to rectify (not too sure what is was, but I think the air condit [... read more]ioning had something to do with it).

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Terrific resort

I was impressed by the resort in general. There is a high standard of cleanliness throughout the resort and all staff were eager to help and addressed any concerns or questions quickly. The size of the resort takes a little while to get used to and to find your way around, but after that you feel very comfortable.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Gorgeous resort

My fiancé and I loved it here!!! It was super gorgeous. The staff wasn’t overly friendly. But that’s my only negative comment. Rooms are gorg, food is great. Well worth it. The pools were outstanding.

Allegro Playacar: Great staff

This was our second time at this resort. They did a great job on the renovations. Check in was quick and Lucy spoke good English. We had a room on the second floor with an ocean view. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the room kept clean. The grounds are very nice and it's easy to get around as it is a smaller resort. The staff were amazing especially Nestor, Humberto, Rafael and Fernando. We were treated exceptionally well and most spoke good English. The food was very good and drinks [... read more] not watered down. It's a short walk to PDC which is great. We will be returning again for sure.
