Hotel Vigia: restful vacation...wonderful staff!

We have visited this resort 4 times. The food is good and the service is great. The rooms are a bit run down , but very clean The grounds are well kept.The beach is fantastic! I would suggest you bring a beach towel, as towels may sometimes not be available. Pool lounges go quickly but you can find one on the beach easily. We will be returning!

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Great Resort

Rooms spacious & clean, grounds well kept, eating areas and washrooms clean, food good, staff attentive, helpful and friendly. Beach could be a little less rocky (coral) and need more palapas for shade, plus the palapas already there need repair, as in Palm leaves on the top....

Melia Cayo Coco: great resort great staff

This hotel is just the right size . not to big not to small...Food was the best I have had in Cuba....Staff were just fantastic... service great. Clean and beautiful grounds. Our daughters wedding was wonderful....

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Beautiful resort

Our room was clean (no bugs). Beds were hard but they always are. Newer resort with friendly staff, beautiful grounds and nice beach. Shopping wasnt great. Great vacation spot. No complaints. Recommended.

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Fair

We (a group of 6) stayed at the Pestana Cayo Coco from March 26 to April 2. We all got rooms in the same building and floor so that was very convenient. The rooms are nice. Bed are not the most comfortable though. Was disappointed to discover that the hotel does not provide refreshments (sodas and beer) in the mini fridge in the rooms. We ended up buying these at the mini market on site as they only have no-name soda and draft beer at the bars. The food was actually not bad but buffet food was o [... read more]ften cold (especially breakfast) and they kept running out of everything. For example, out of burgers for 4 days at the snack bar and no lasagna at the Italian a la carte! Also, public washrooms never seemed to have toilet paper.... The beach was nice and they always had staff helping with finding and setting up chairs for guests. The currency exchange was a big disappointment. We paid 40% at the hotel...

Hotel Playa Coco: Beautiful Vacation !

This was our first time in Cuba and despite all the reviews we read beforehand, we were pleasantly surprised at how well everything went! The hotel was beautiful , the resort was always kept clean and our room was awesome ! There was entertainment eeet night and always somethin to do during the day ! The only 2 things I could complain about was the amount of no see ums and the food was just average. Other than that we had an excellent stay ! Another concern we had that didn't have to do with cub [... read more]a, but the park n fly in Toronto, was that we had to pay way more thennnn advertised. we were sent a coupon that said park n fly for the week would be 60 dollars but when it came time to pay and after we entered the coupon code it charged us 90 dollars which we were not happy about. But other than that everything was amazing and we were surprised at how easy everything was ! thank you :)

Hotel Vigia: Great hotel, fantastic beach!

Older hotel that is clean & well kept. Good drinks and good food. Snack bar at beach serves bbq, main snack bar serves sandwiches, pizza and burgers/hotdogs. Buffet has large selection of foods. Drinks were the best at the lobby bar. Awesome beach...clear waters and white sand. No complaints about my trip!

Tryp Cayo Coco: Nice resort

everything good except the rooms, only reason we stayed in them was because we were with a group that had children, we all wanted to stay together! I tried sleeping with one eye open, was ok for first while, then exhausted ,lol

Hotel Playa Coco: No Hot Water

Food mediocre, no hot water for all but one morning, getting bottle water took some effort. Other than the front desk the staff was friendly. Beaches were nice. Mostly an elderly crowd when I was there.

Hotel Vigia: spectacular beach

Although the resort is a bit tired and in need of some freshening up, the setting; pool and beach are outstanding. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and many went out of their way to make my stay a positive one. The food and room were just OK, I was really there for the beach and sun.

Melia Cayo Coco: Best place yet

Second time back. Can't say enough about the staff from the manager down to the grounds keepers. The grounds were well maintained and the room was spotless Any little problems we had were taken care of immediately. Can't what to go back

Hotel Mojito: Amazing resort

Love it here. Been six times. Food is good. People are GREAT !!!!! If your looking to take kids with you, this is the place. The workers LOVE the kids. Although the rooms are a bit tired they are clean ... We don't spend much time in them so I'm ok with that. Each time we go there are things updated.

Melia Cayo Coco: Fantastic Resort

This was one of the best all inclusive vacation properties in my opinion. First, adults only is a blessing-really. Second, the food selection and variety was tremendous and plentiful, no matter where I ate. The grounds were meticulous and some ongoing building to ensure additional services for guests. Very nice resort. Grounds were lovely, service was good except the 24 hour snack bar , couldn't get ice cream a few times but overall very friendly staff. the shows were great esp Michael Jackson show

The entire resort was exceptionally well maintained and the staff are very nice. We would and have recommended this resort to others as we had a great experience. It takes us 2 years to save up for a vacation and we were not disappointed.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Another great Cuba eperience

This resort was a good value . The grounds were manicured and the flowers really nice. Great care was taken to look after the whole complex . The beach was a walker's dream . On the right we saw starfish , rays , conch and more. The sand was great . There was lots of good food . We have been to Cuba 9 times now and this was one of the most enjoyable. The staff was very friendly at all times. We have already recommended the resort to our friends and relatives

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Good Resort

I visited this resort March 17-24 2015. Overall, it's a nice resort and I would go back. The food: The food is okay. Basic, but there was always something to eat. Lots of fresh seafood, the pizza was okay, the pasta was okay, nothing stands out. We only went to the Mexican A La Carte and it was mediocre. The Beach: The beach is beautiful, no complaints at all. We went to the front desk and were moved immediately to a room on the second floor which was clean and we had no complaints. The maid service was great and Overall, there were no more issues. Hotel Playa Paraiso: Great resort

We had a room that was close to poolside and snack bar. Fantastic cause there were times we forgot our hats or suntan lotion and didn't have to go far. My daughter spent a lot of time in pool so really convenient to get a snack while watching her. Brought our own towels made for a great trip no waiting in line!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: LOVED IT!

The rooms had been recently renovated and were beautiful. There was a wonderful terrace at the end of the floor of our building where we could look at the beach and the stars at night. Food was great. The size of the resort was perfect - not too big - so if our children went out on there own to pool or the beach, it was easy to find them. By far this was the nicest place we have stayed at in Cuba.

Sol Cayo Coco: what a gem - would return!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sol in March 2015 and it was fabulous! It was my first time in Cuba and I had heard horror stories about the food but it was great at this resort. It was my boyfriend's third time and he was more than impressed with the food. The staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and hardworking. Very nice facilities that were well kept, however the rooms could have used updating. That being said the rooms were very clean, they were just a bit outdated. The ocean view was well worth the extra money because WOW what a view. We had an incredible time here and would definitely return.
