Tryp Cayo Coco: Nice resort

everything good except the rooms, only reason we stayed in them was because we were with a group that had children, we all wanted to stay together! I tried sleeping with one eye open, was ok for first while, then exhausted ,lol

Melia Las Dunas: Amazing place

the room was clean, the staff are amazing, the resort is beautiful and the food was good. i had been told not to expect good food, but there was a huge variety of food, different places to eat and was not disappointed. the resort is very very clean and ALL the staff were amazing, friendly and i would go back there in a min.

Hotel Vigia: spectacular beach

Although the resort is a bit tired and in need of some freshening up, the setting; pool and beach are outstanding. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and many went out of their way to make my stay a positive one. The food and room were just OK, I was really there for the beach and sun.

Melia Cayo Coco: Best place yet

Second time back. Can't say enough about the staff from the manager down to the grounds keepers. The grounds were well maintained and the room was spotless Any little problems we had were taken care of immediately. Can't what to go back

Melia Las Dunas: best resort in Cuba stayed at

Great selection of food specialty restaurants were great favourite was the pasta made with wine garlic and rose sauce yummy, great water sports only complaint was thistles in the sand. The beds were actually comfortable wish I brought my own pillow but than again I'm extremely picky when comes to the pillow. It was an enjoyable vacation and definitely will be going back again. Melia Cayo Coco: Fantastic Resort

This was one of the best all inclusive vacation properties in my opinion. First, adults only is a blessing-really. Second, the food selection and variety was tremendous and plentiful, no matter where I ate. The grounds were meticulous and some ongoing building to ensure additional services for guests. Melia Puerto Vallarta: All Inclusive resort?????

The resort was beautiful, well maintained. My room had a very musty smell about it. Was mentioned 3 times never taken care of. As for all inclusive not so had to pay for: Mini golf, trampoline, coffee bar, some foods off the menu. Buffet was almost exactly the same every night. The items listed as all inclusive where in fact mostly for the younger children or events you had to pay for. As a whole not overly impressed.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: an ausome holiday experience

This was our second trip to Paradisus Rio de Oro, and a 2 week duration compared to a one week stay 2 years ago! The accommodations, personnel and facilities are superior and we WILL return [ God Willing]. The meals are varied and superior in both quality and presentation and in our opinion it is the personnel that provide the SPECIAL TOUCH and that includes the gardeners to the top management!!! The entire resort was exceptionally well maintained and the staff are very nice. We would and have recommended this resort to others as we had a great experience. It takes us 2 years to save up for a vacation and we were not disappointed.

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Ok for the price

We were there for one week with 2 kids The kids had a good time .Animation team does a great work They had a lot of fun activities for kids and adults during the day . Food was not very good even for Cuban standards .It is not easy to book any restaurants The lady was not very pleasant To deal for booking . The service. Melia Marina Varadero: fantastic resort

The room was brilliant, food was great, pools perfect but the evening entertainment was spectacular...french a la carte restaurant was excellent...will definitely return to this resort soon...Varadero is like a second home.

Sol Cayo Coco: what a gem - would return!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sol in March 2015 and it was fabulous! It was my first time in Cuba and I had heard horror stories about the food but it was great at this resort. It was my boyfriend's third time and he was more than impressed with the food. The staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and hardworking. Very nice facilities that were well kept, however the rooms could have used updating. That being said the rooms were very clean, they were just a bit outdated. The ocean view was well worth the extra money because WOW what a view. We had an incredible time here and would definitely return.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Amazing but a monster of a resort.

Clean, safe good food for Cuba. Ocean infront of resort was horrible. Rocks rocks and more rocks. I sat at resort next door. The safe was amazing but with the construction I found that every employee had a shtic. Hats made of leaves 3 peso pet my bird 1 peso draw a pic 5 peso. To much begging. The resort is stunning but to big. Don't know if this matters but Canjat was the airline, never ever again. Rude disgusting dangerously arrogant employees. Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: A great family vacation!

My family and I just got back from Now Sapphire and had a great time. My daughters are 6 and 12 and neither can wait to go back again. We went on March break and found lots to do. Pool area was large enough so everyone had their own space, but lively enough to feel a part of the fun. Restaurants were wonderful... Buffet was perfect for breakfast or a lunch out of the sun. Service at restaurants and at the pool was exceptional. All staff worked VERY hard to make sure we all enjoyed our stay. The evening movies by the pool were a big hit for the girls. The tennis lessons were wonderful, daily Zumba and pool volleyball were memorable to say the least. Rooms were very large and comfortable. Having cold water and pop restalked in mini fridge each day was great! We arrived at 11 am and room was ready for us to enjoy the entire day.My only complaint was the Beach. Nice to look at, but a crazy amount of seaweed made it a no go for my girls to enjoy. Snorkeling.... Forget about it! We did understand that this was a strange year for the amount of seaweed and staff sure did try their best to get rid of it off the beach, but couldn't control how much was all along the coast! Only 20 minutes from airport. It was an expensive holiday but....We would return again for sure!!

Melia Las Dunas: Simply Awesome!

Visited March 13 to 20 with my two children (4 yrs and 7 mths). Best beach I have ever seen, kids pool was wonderful, and no problem finding a variety of food for all tastes. Staff even supplied us with a crib and cot for the kiddies. I would recommend and return to this resort.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Very Disappointing

We visited this resort with our expectations in check but we're still disappointed. The resort was clearly beautiful 20 years ago, but it looks like it has been left to rot. The beautiful fountains and waterfall were dry. The marshy areas were overgrown. Sime of the wooden plank walkways from the hotel to the beach were rotting, broken and uneven and dangerous to walk on. The fencing around the pool area near the cabanas were rotting. The pool floor was obviously crumbling and covered by an ill  [... read more]fitting pool liner. The resort was uncomfortably dark at night. The lights along the front of the buffet dining room were hanging by the electrical wires. There was virtually no fruit or vegetables, but the most uncomfortable part were the cockroaches that climbed the walls and in the vacant high chairs. The walls needed painting and repairs. The tablecloths were frequently dirty. We were informed by a staff member that the juices were made with regular tap water. During our stay our youngest son and his little friends all got tummy sick. The ac stopped working for half the resort while we were there. The beds in the rooms were dated and the springs in the mattresses poked through. The lighting was very dim and there was very little water pressure. The staff members were attentive if you tupped them first. Our first night my son dropped his ice cream and the cup smashed. The waiters didn't come to help pick up the glass. We picked up as much as we could and it stayed on the table. The beach was beautiful, but right in the center of the strip was a rotting pier. My sons found a huge metal spike in the sand while they were playing. Fortunately they weren't injured. This trip is not worth the money you will pay.

Hotel Vigia: Great value

Rooms and grounds were very well groomed however the facilityis in need of some updates. Waitstaff, bartenders, groundskeepers, cleaning staff, hospitality and fitness staff all very dedicated to top service. There are some obvious signs of organizational issues at management level, I.e. Running out of food , dishes, chairs etc. Food was okay, don't go to Cuba for gourmet dining. Beach was phenomenal! Resort layout is designed for maximum #of ocean view rooms, very nice feature. I definitely will consider this resort again for a budget, laid back vacation on the beach.

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

We just returned from a wonderful 7 days at Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun. Our room was close to the beach and we always were able to access beach chairs. Elidio our waiter for the beach bar was awesome. He is clearly one of the greatest assets to this resort. He has personality plus and a great sense of humor. We looked forward to seeing him every day as that is where we spent the majority of our time (from dawn til dusk). He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Thanks Elidio!!!! Melia Las Dunas: Beautiful Beach

Large resort with beautiful beach. Unfortunately we discovered that you need to rise early each morning to reserve a beach lounge chairs, many have seen better days and the good ones go quick. The resort itself is ok, needs some updating and the rooms definitely need some work. Basic nothing fancy. The food was hit and miss but you definitely won't starve. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and do their best to make you feel welcome. The beach is definately something to see.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Melia Caribe Tropical

Beautiful, large mature property. Rooms well appointed and clean. Beach beautiful lots of activity. Pools beautiful. Lots of walking or train taking. The resort is very big. There is a lot of activities on or off resort. Restaurants were all very good. Loved that you don't have to make reservations, I hardly went to the speciality restaurant at other resorts because I didn't want to waste my vacation time with that chore.
